Poor customer service. No one will hardly look up from their computers or phones long enough to acknowledge your even there. I have bought 2 bikes from here. I will not be back.

We always enjoy walking around and looking at their stock. They have a good variety of used and new inventory. They also have a huge selection of riding gear including helmets, pants and jackets. They also have some pretty cool t-shirts. Staff is always friendly and ready to help with any questions.

I would highly recommend Southern Honda Powersports to anyone who doesn't like to deal with hidden fees or the typical nonsense you get at other dealerships. The staff were all extremely friendly and many of them struck up conversations ranging from riding stories to technical information about my new machine. I will gladly make the 3 hour journey to this dealership if I'm ever in the market again for another bike, which I will be. Probably the best dealer experience I've had in my lifetime. My salesman Mr. Able, who I had been in contact with during that week, came out to meet me in the parking lot before I even put the truck in park. Awesome service and character from the staff.

I bought my little girl a dirt bike in October. Still have got the title to it. Paid cash for it. And then they put a lean on it. And I still haven't got a title like they said for it.

I walked into the store ordered parts paid cash paid for my parts to be shipped they promised my parts would be delivered to me within a week well 2 weeks later no parts I have called them several days in a row and they tell me my parts shipped that day I will never walk back into that place again except to get my money back they have turned me against honda all together they are rude treat people like second rate citzens unless you are buying something new from them

Horrible service. Tried ordering parts, said they would call when they came in. They have not called and its been months. They will not accommodate those with disabilities in their mask mandate. Will not be coming back for my future bike and parts purchases

My wife and I spent many hours driving many more miles across the State of Tennessee looking for her first bike to only come to the conclusion that Honda DOES NOT like to sell motorcycles. Sound strange? Well if you experienced the amount of unwillingness to negotiate and absolute admission that someone else WILL pay what we say for our bikes the way we did, you would probably feel the same way.

After coming to the conclusion that we were going to be forced to purchase a used bike, not a bad thing, we started looking on Bike Trader and Facebook Marketplace to find that there are bikes all around us for sale and with low miles.

Get to the point, right? So after locating bikes in Georgia and even Indiana we decided that we would make the drive up North dragging the trailer and hopefully come home with her first bike. I did however make one final internet request to discuss a Rebel with Southern Powersports in Chattanooga. I say one final because the other request that I made to another dealership yielded absolutely no return calls or emails. Honda DOES NOT like to sell motorcycles. Remember me saying this before???

Well, the next morning, being Saturday, we had the trailer hooked up and ready to hit the road when I received a call from Mark Able with Southern Powersports in Chattanooga. I explained to Mark what exactly we were looking for and he said he would check the inventory and call me right back. Yeah! Sure you will Mark. Well it might have taken him 2.5 minutes to actually do what he said and he even explained that he would get me an out the door price if I would like since we live about 2.5 hours away. Wait! What? Is this guy for real? He s going to give me a price knowing that I can hang up the phone and never have to so much as look at him? Ok, Mark go ahead and do that. Well within less than an hour, he told me it would take a little time as he had a customer picking up their new bike, he called me back and quoted me an out the door price that was less than what ALL the other dealerships were quoting just for the bike without all the fees and taxes. Now I ve got to go and see this guy. He s going to get me in there and then drop the real OUT THE DOOR price on me. Well that is not what happened at all. My wife and I walked in the door, explained to the young lady up front that we were there to see Mark and she explained that she would notify him of our presence. Of course we know what we re here for so we went straight to the bike that other Honda dealerships just love so much that they won t even let them go. A few minutes later we were shaking hands with Southern Powersports Royalty. Seriously folks, this guy is from the UK. Can I just tell you how easy this was??? Mark is a very compassionate individual who I think just really likes meeting new people. The fact that his interest in the people that he meets also makes him a living is just icing on the cake. The entire process took a couple of hours, and was probably the easiest motorcycle purchase in history.

Now let s talk about the bike that I was getting a little concerned about since so many people are selling theirs when they have only a few miles on them. I personally ride a full dresser so getting on this Rebel 300 is going to probably be downright boring. I mean, where s the other half of the motor? Let me tell you. This thing handles like you wouldn t believe and while the power is not going to throw you off it is plenty and even more than enough for my somewhat fearful wife. Please keep in mind that she has NEVER ridden her own bike so starting at almost 48 years old is a little scary but she is doing great.

I really can t say enough about the guys at Southern Powersports in Chattanooga. Mark Able is amazing and even texted me this morning to check on my wife and see how she s enjoying her new Rebel 300.

We decided to purchase another four wheeler from Southern Honda Powersports because we had excellent previous experience with them. With COVID-19 we got pre-approved for the one we wanted. Went in and spoke with Justin, filled out the paperwork and left with a great product. He kept in contact via text/cell with questions my husband had. Very Professional!

Only complaint was the finance manager hitting me with, oh, so you re not the kind of person that buys an extended warranty for your vehicles after I declined all of her backend products. Her name was Jordan I believe.

Jamie was a 10/10 salesman. Answered every question I had, and he seemed to really enjoy his job. Drove 3 hours to get the atv from him, and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Brian Abbott and Ray along with the rest if the team at Southern Honda provide me with first class service. Brief story, I wanted to but a 4 wheeler for my son, and didn't want to buy a used one or spend 800 dollars on a Chinese one that may be dangerous and hard to repair.
I was in Arkansas working made one to talk to a sales person, I went on the website and the selection was amazing, instead of just wanting one for the kids I also ended getting one.
I was not supposed to pick my two toys up today, but Brian Abbot and Ray made it happen for me, they stayed over a little longer to make sure I had everything I needed.

Purchased my 2018 Tour Goldwing in late May. Since this was an automatic, it was on back order. Sakes support, Jennifer, was excellent and kept me updated regularly on the status through delivery. Added accessories and everything was ready to go when I picked up the bike. Also, with the new technology, Jenn showed me all the new points to be able to leave with confidence on this outstanding Goldwing.

I have had the bike for a month now, and the new design and technology is more than I expected from the new front end with shocks and no wobble to the seamless power and smooth transmission. Everything little thing was thought through in this new generation of Goldwing. I went back to Southern Honda this week to replace my Honda backrest with an after market backrest (Utopia Driver Backrest - the Honda Backrest was too low for me) and Jennand Brent in service squeezed me in and gave me credit for the Honda Backrest. Again, excellent service was their norm. Great place to buy you Goldwing and expect to be given great, outstanding service.

I placed the order on 7/16/20 and got an immediate email. On 7/21 I received a second email stating that due to high order volume and supply chain issues my order was delayed My customer requested an estimated completion date so I tried to call and left several voicemails for an update. Since I couldn t give my customer an eta on the parts he took the bike to another shop and had the work completed before I even had the parts.
On 8/9/20 I emailed them to cancel the order since I no longer had the job but instead of canceling the order they next day aired the parts to me so now I have $80 worth of parts I can t use.

I almost hated this place. Bought a used goldwing wing from this place. While riding it home the clutch went out. Stuck on the side of the interstate 50 miles from Chattanooga and another 60 miles to the house I called the used bike manager (after hours) he got a team of guys together to come and get me. They showed up 2 hours later after having problems of there own. I started to think about what kind of dealership was I dealing with. Well it turns out that the whole staff jumped on my bike to get it up and running. They had it fixed in a couple of days and even delivered it to my house. The sales man (Kyle) had paid close attention to my wife while we were there talking about things she wanted and liked. And made sure not only to correct any issues with the bike but went out of his was to make sure not only I was happy but my wife was happy as well. I absolutely love my goldwing and love the fact that there is a company out there that still believes in customer service. I can't thank theses guys enough for the service and care that they gave to me. This place was recommended to me buy a friend and I'm glad I made the trip. I recommend this place to everyone. Take the time to go and deal with these guys. You won't be disappointed.

Loved how many machines they had but it is sad when I know more than the salesman. I was looking at the rancher 4x4 and asked about the foreman. The salesman told me it was only 5cc's bigger but was geared like a 500 so that is why it was in the bigger class and more money. Then said all I was really getting was a headlight on the handlebars. Not super impressed. Might just be a training issue or his first day.

I ordered some parts via phone Saturday. I ordered front and rear blinkers along with some mirrors. I picked up my mirrors a day before the blinkers and for some reason they don t fit. It s not the right thread pattern and it messed the mounting hole threads up. Along with this problem apparently the lady that took my order didn t hear me correctly and I only purchased the rear blinkers. When questioned about this I was looking at the gentleman crazy and I m not sure what the ladys who helped you deal is. Very poor customer service and do not recommend ordering parts from them.

Me an my grandson came in today to get him a bike an me a ATV an we live on a farm and had been working this morning an it started to rain an we went to southern to get the bike and ATV an we walked around for 30 minutes an pick what we wanted and no one in the store wouldn't help us are even try to help my grandson said why want they talk to us I looked around and everyone that working there was on there phone an didn't try to help us so we left. I wouldn't buy one from them now I have got about 8 from them in the last 10 years but not no more my name is chris Bess

My first experience with Southern Honda was excellent. The shipping cost was higher than I expected but the part came quickly and during the busiest time of the year (for shippers) so I am 100% satisfied. The part is a OEM center stand spring for my 2009 Honda GL1800

On 3-7-19, I placed an order with Southern Honda Powersports. On 3-8-19, I requested that order be cancelled. On 3-13-19 the order was shipped and I had heard nothing from Southern Honda. I tried to cancel the order by phone but could only get an answering device so I left a message. I then cancelled it using "contact us" on their website, but still heard nothing. Southern Honda had a great selection I found what I was looking for one trip out the door home with the new ATV. I've had several motorcycles and ATVs by Honda great products window switch for anything.

I really wanted to leave an EXCELLENT review, because the process of buying my new ATV was going really well, I had already started composing it in my head. The deal was on a leftover but new ATV, the price on their website was $7,398.00 and that included $300.00 worth of "free" accessories. That included everything except some document fee for filing for the title, I was told somewhere around $40.00. Tax was not included because I pay that in my home State. That took my total to $7,438.00 (or thereabouts). We made the deal, I submitted my finance application (I wasn't the least bit concerned, I have impeccable credit), and we arranged for me to pick the machine up on Friday. In the meantime, my sales person was going to get everything on paper. On Thursday, the day before I'm due to pick it up, my salesperson sends me a few pictures of the machine and a photo of the invoice along with some text stating that we're all set to go. Here's the problem....... My total went from $7,438.00 to $8,650.79 YES, NOT 10 or 12 dollars difference for the title fee, but a whopping $1,200.00 difference, along with NO mention of the "free" accessories..... With NO prior explanation. After asking why the big difference, I got some story about Honda pulling the rebates, so the price went up. While I don't know it to be true or not, I was warned by another dealer that this type of bait and switch or up-selling is quite commonplace with this dealership. Anyway, I just got home with my ATV, the EXACT same machine, purchased from another dealer for $7,520.00 complete, out the door. They're nice enough people, but BE CAREFUL if you decide to deal with them. Question EVERYTHING, get it on paper, do your homework. Hopefully this review helps at least one person avoid the frustration. Honestly, I might have cared a lot less if I hadn't gone to the trouble of filling out a loan application, knowing that just an inquiry lowers your credit score. So one last word to the wise, don't fill out a credit application until the numbers are on paper, in front of you, and you agree with them. I'm used to doing business with a handshake, so this was a disheartening experience for me.

Firstly, had been shopping for a preowned African Twin, found it at this dealership. Secondly, called and Bradley (sales person) picked up, lucky me. Thirdly, we discussed the history of this bike, discussed purchasing options and set up a day and time to check out the bike. Fourthly and lastly, I'd brought my bank's check prepared to buy. Bradley (great guy) and Cody (finance guy) sweetened the deal with warranty included and a point less on financing with them. Blew me away, super deal....Drove 250 miles, 1-way trip to Chattanooga. Appreciate it, job well done....

A couple years ago I purchased a new 2015 40th Anniversary Gold Wing and have been very satisfied with the purchase. Back in June, my wife and I decided to have this Gold Wing converted to a Motor Trike RAZOR. Well let me tell you.............these folks did a wonderful job putting it all together. Their main man, WES, is the BEST at assembling trikes. We picked it up on August 22nd and have ridden it every possible hour. If ever you are considering a trike conversion, go see Bill Spearman, the Sales guy, then meet up with Wes. You will have a great experience as well.

Not a very honest place.. very questionable and besides a bit slow..seem a little..lazy

Wife and I went to look at Goldwings. They have a Great selection for new bikes. However we wanted to buy used. And everything had 60k plus miles. I was told by the salesman that all low mileage wings they get in they do not sell they trike them then put them up for sale. Well that sucks. I found a Level 2 Anniversary edition with 3500 miles for $20,500 so I bought it even though it's more than we planned on. It's the color combo we both like. (Candy Red and black).

Throughout my search Bill was great he kept in touch etc... When I emailed him to tell him we found a bike and wanted to get a price on a matching trailer they have up there. I never heard back from him. Pretty piss poor service at that point. So needless to say we will buy a trailer elsewhere. He told me flat out they could not budge off the new price and getting a used wing with less than 30k miles wasn't going to happen. So I had to look elsewhere.
I also feel if they are going to add extras on new units then they should eat the labor and give a deep discount on the parts they add. If they did that we would have bought one of the ones we saw up there. But I wasn't paying $100 less than what I did for a level one then add the cost of the extras they put on.

I've purchased tires etc from them in the past. Always been great. Before buying the wing we bought my wife some riding pants the girl in the parts department was great.

Jeff and Ashley were Great! Jeff explained the ATV perfectly and Ashley was quick and efficient with the financial paperwork. Both were fun to deal with - Great Attitudes. The GM can be proud to have such dedicated employees.

Justin was great. This was my first time buying an ATV and he walked me through all the stuff and was patient and honest. Good prices. Lots of selection.

Be very careful when ordering parts, they will NOT stand behind what's posted on their website. I ordered a speedometer for my NC700X and there were 2 to choose from, so I got the one with a higher part number and a little more money thinking I was getting a updated part. When I plugged it in, and there was a ABS light on, I realized it was for a NC700XD. Minor difference? NO, the D not only has ABS, BUT the turn signals are controlled by a separate system. So not only do I have a ABS light on, but I have no turn signals. Their solution, send it back and pay a restocking fee AND all of the shipping costs. Suddenly a $95 part is going to cost me $150. Their excuse is, they get their info from American Honda, so they aren't liable for Honda's mistake.

I want to start by saying that my salesman Gus Wolf is awesome! Now with that being said, i did not end up purchasing the atv from them.
I went to the shop to do the paperwork on my machine after a few days of working with Mr. Wolf and after arriving i was left to wait on the finance guy to sign my paperwork for over two hours. During this time another family came in to shop and actually picked out a machine and signed their paperwork before me. After realizing that with the current sales spike on off highway vehicles, customer service after you are approved and ready to purchase falls apart. Once they feel they have you sold, you get sent to the wait for hours line and are no longer a priority. I offered to close the deal if they gave me 2 helmets to go with the machine to compensate me for the 3 trips to the dealership i had made at 70 miles round trip, and was still going to have to make another trip to sign the paperwork and pick up my machine. I was told the best they could do was 10% off parts and labor. I had been warned to not deal with southern Honda, but i really like my salesman, so i gave it a shot. I will be going to check out Honda of Chattanooga as i have been informed that they offer better prices and better customer service. I was very disappointed with my customer service experience at this dealer and do not recommend the dealership. The only reason for 2 stars is the salesman.

Kyle did a fabulous job with me and my bike. First, he replied to an email with a phone call. He then told me everything I wanted to know about the Honda ST1300 I was interested in. Then he had someone in finance call me to answer my questions about financing the bike. He was there and ready for me when I arrived and then helped me get my tag when someone forgot to send the paperwork. Very happy customer and love my ST1300!

An extremely large selection, no pressure staff and have demo units to test ride. I'm not familiar with the repair shop. The parts counter staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Live in Huntsville and was interested in a 2019 Goldwing Touring with the 6 speed transmission. After making a trip to the local Honda dealer here in Huntsville, I was on my way to Chattanooga!!
Made initial contact via the website and got a quick response from Bradley (Still waiting on a Huntsville response). Got a test ride worked out for me.
Arrived on a Saturday. Knew it would be busy. Bradley had multiple customers and alerted me about that 2 days before my arrival. He handed me off to Andrew.
Got the test ride completed in a very timely manner, got the best price available out the door on paper and went back home to discuss.
Called him back that day, set up the purchase for the following Tuesday and all went well. Traded in my Harley Davidson and off I went.
Hats off to Bradley, Andrew, Adam and the service department.
Will drive the 120 miles every 4000 miles to get the services completed instead of going to the Huntsville Honda dealer.
Overall, pleasant experience and love the Wing!!

If you don't check out Southern Honda before you purchase a Powersports vehicle....YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR BEST DEAL. They have the best prices and friendliest people.

Had a great experience at southern Honda plan on doing more business with them in the near future, no high pressure sales pitches just someone there if you need them.

Would have given a five star if they had filed the four wheeler up with gas. I feel it was cheap of them no to do so.

I don't think they wanted to sell a bike to me. I called twice and they said they will call me right back with price information. Nope they sure didn't even after a week. I even double check to make sure he had my number correct. They had a 2009 cbr1000rr listed for 8889 and then I got an email saying the price is really almost 11k because it was a display bike with added features. Ummm I call that false advisement.

I took a Honda pioneer 1000 for recall fix. There was so much wrong I don t know where to start. Rubber covers missing plastic pieces missing . Winch left unhooked. The windshield that was on when brought in was not put back on and still has not been found. If they would have fixed it sooner they probably would know where it was. They had it for a month and a week. They refused to replace and fix all of missing parts. I ve asked them to fix the problems but they tell me they will get back with me. Not happened yet. I m about to contact a attorney and sue the pants off em. Bad business!!!!

Worst customer service I've ever had at a dealership. Bought my atv new. Tried calling to set up an appointment to get my first oil change was left on his and shuffled around between people, for about 45 minutes. Hung up and called again two hours later, same thing. I tried calling the next day and was left on hold for over an hour. Then going in person to schedule one was just as bad. Everyone is on their phones not paying attention to you, especially the parts and service. I sold at the parts desk for a while and wasn't helped so I left and ended up taking it to Ed's cycles in Cleveland. They changed it within an hour checked everything and even loaded it back on my truck for me. The people at his only care about selling their vehicles and nothing else.

All items were as ordered and the order was promptly shipped. I look forward to using them again as the source for my Honda VTX 1800 motorcycle parts.

I placed an order on 3/13 and got a email saying they started my order, since then have not got any type of status update, I have called numerous times and no answer, I left 1 message, emailed, and left a message in their contact box. No answer still and no update on my order, it was only saving me 20 $ from my local store after shipping. This has taken too long for an order and unprofessional that they have not responded to me about my order.

I just purchased a 2020 Honda CBR500r ABS. I talked with RICK (Sales) on the phone and he helped set everything up. CALEB (Sales) made sure I knew everything about the bikes when I arrived. JORDAN (Finance) closed with offering options that were in my best interest--not just an add-on to make the dealership more money.

To top it off, I forgot the Tie Down Straps to secure my New bike to the Trailer I was towing. KYLE (Manager) went out of his way to find some for me and gave them to me for Free. Then they stayed AFTER CLOSING, and CALEB (Sales) even helped me Tie the bike down to the trailer properly!

I love my Bike, The Price (with NO added FEES) and most importantly, the Customer Service of this dealership! I highly recommend Southern Honda Powersports, they made the 2 hour trip from Atlanta worth it!

Made online order for a part on June 8th. Immediately received confirmation and then nothing for over a month. Emailed asking for a status and received nothing back. Canceled my order and ordered the part from another supplier on July 13th. That part will be delivered on July 14th. I recommend going elsewhere for online parts.

Part was OEM and the best price online. Communication was great as part was temporarily out of stock, but kept me in the loop. I would 100% order from them again.

I received excellent service when I bought my bike in 2013. They really took care of me.
I just bought a new bike a few days ago with a bad tire. A friend had a used one that he gave me. Not only were they the cheapest to have a tire changed, but the service manager showed lots of concern for the used tire I wanted to put on.
He went out of his way, gave me a fantastic deal, cheapest tire I ve ever paid for. He was very personal and sympathetic. He really went above and beyond!
These guys have always been true professionals. They get the job done, and you don t feel like you ve been took. They treat you like family.

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Bill Spearman in person this past July 4th. After arranging everything (I knew down to the penny what the out the door cost would be) over the phone we flew in from Maryland to pick up our new 2014 Black Goldwing. Bill & Wendy (as well as the entire staff) were very welcoming. We couldn't ask for a better experience. We've since logged over 5K miles in less than 2 months...what a great ride. Had 4 wheeler repaired ...took a few days longer than stated ...however work performed was satisfactory

Sales was great.... but when it came to dealing with the parts department they lack the customer service needed. Bought a 4x4 from them and the experience was great. Then we needed a simple manual for it and you would think that it would take an act of congress to get it. No communication. When you call they act like I am not worth the time. No one know when it will be in nor wil they even offer to take my number or name to contact me when it does come in...12 weeks later... still nothing. I would not recommend them for this reason.

Caleb was great! He was very busy, but took time to help us but the fourwheeler we were looking for. Great pricing on most models we saw. Their used selection was very well taken care of equipment.

Sales people are extremely rude. Don t want to really explain financing options or help you out. If they hear your credit score and it s not what they want to hear they will walk away mid conversation. I will never waste my money at this trashy place.
