It seems to be hard to buy a motorcycle. You shouldn't have to work at it. Many dealers act like they don't care whether you buy a bike or not. NOT SO at SHP in Chattanooga Tn. I live 200 miles away and Mark A. called me back within minutes each time he said he would as we worked out the details by phone. Everyone there was very nice and professional and took good care of me. I highly recommend them. Did I mention it was the BEST PRICE anywhere and there are never any annoying FEES! Great folks!

Business day 10 of my online order. I have called 6 times with no answer, I've left messages, emailed 4-5 times and even called main dealership and they just said they will get the note to the online parts. They took my money no problem but won't even acknowledge that I exist. At this point I really just want my money back but I can't get ahold of anyone to even get it. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE PARTS

Update1: got ahold of someone in the main parts of the dealership and they said they will refund me my money and apologized for the inconvenience. I will update my rating if I see my money back.

Update2:they initiated a refund so I am getting my money back. The actual dealership parts center was really nice and helpful. And for only that reason I will be changing my review from a one to a 3 star.

Was 1st time to shop there today and had the best customer service provided by cody and jamie.well definitely recommend southern honda powersports.

Always amazing service, service desk worker is very helpful and knowledgable.

My online ordering experience has been terrible. I can't get anyone to call me back. Multiple messages and no return calls. I even talked to a service manager who told me he'd call me back and he hasn't. Ordered a $40 part on 4/14 and on 5/16 I have no part but they have my money! Not using them again.

Horrible customer service . Called three times left three messages, emailed them and still no response. I wanted to change my order and then today they sent me an email saying they shipped the wrong part. They did this because no one will answer my calls or emails. I don t think I m going to ever use them again.

Nice, large, clean dealership. Representatives are very friendly and helpful. I was treated very well. Prices are excellent on new and used vehicles.

Great people in sales. The finance dpt is a bit lacking. I have a very good credit score and could not get financed througj honda. I had to go to another place to get the loan. And they were reluctant to use one of there other loan agencies. I have to ask them vs them offering to do this for me. When i got the loan i needed the loan agency was shocked they did not finance me direct.

Sales team as well as Customer Service was very professional and educated on the Honda Equipment .

Bill Spearman was my salesman and he went out of his way to make sure all my questions were answered and they had the model with all my options installed to meet my schedule. Wendy handled the financing and made sure everything was in order and painless for me. That is always appreciated. I could not have asked for more out of a sales team. I will be recommending them to my friends.

Mitch is absolutely AWESOME and very informative. We appreciate the experience and we will be returning to Southern Honda for our future purchases.

I live in Marietta Georgia and was looking for an ATV for use at the deer camp. I went to a local store and they wanted way to much for a Honda Rancher. A buddy said, "Check out Southern Honda Powersports, they have good deals." I called and talked to Anthony Weaver in sales and he couldn't have been more helpful. He took time to talk to me to figure out what I needed and what options they had available. I finally chose the Honda Rancher ES. Anthony had a machine pulled and the guys installed a winch before I got up to the store. Ray in the finance office was extremely helpful and personable. Everyone that works there is top notch. Their prices are way better than anywhere else around. If your looking for an ATV I wouldn't go anywhere else but straight to Southern Honda Powersports.

Had to change the oil and get brakes in the 1st month!!!! Not a happy biker!!!!

They were awesome to deal with.. saved me almost a 1000.00 on the same little bike sold in Atlanta!! I was in and out in about 30 min. Good folks.

Don t inconvenience the lady at the front counter! I paid for a part for my dirt bike a week ago. Was told it should be in by Tuesday and it s now Friday. No problem. So me and my son (5) walk in to check on the status of it. We walked in and The lady at the first counter didn t acknowledge us. So we stand there for not even a full 2 minutes until she whips her head around at us and says yea!? . I m sorry but I didn t piss in your cereal and considering I have already paid for my part and just wanted a simple question answered, I didn t need the overly rude attitude. Would rate higher but I don t even want to walk by her again.

They weren t able to get me approved due to some damaged credit history. Sucks that decisions you make in your early 20s or sooner can effect you almost a decade later. With that being said, the salesman and credit guru tried their best and even called Honda directly to try and help me. For that, I am appreciative. An excellent sales team and facility with tons of inventory. Highly suggested if your credit is ripe instead of rotten.

I am not the kind of person who does well with dealerships. In fact, I walked out of more dealerships over the years than I can count. The sales team at Southern Honda Powersports must have known I was on my way because I had nothing but a five-star experience from start to finish. Zero pressure. No one was trying to push the fancier trim level, and all of my questions were answered truthfully and without bias toward emptying my wallet. They have a small course behind the dealership where customers can test the vehicle you are considering, and I had an opportunity to test drive the exact model I was hoping to purchase. At the end of the day I got exactly what I wanted for several thousand less than the competition. Great selection, great price, and great sales team! I want to give a big shout out to my salesman, Andrew for his professionalism during the entire sales process. It should also be noted that after my purchase Andrew has followed up with me to make sure I am happy with the vehicle, to see if he can provide any assistance, and to otherwise answer any questions I may have. I am not sure why anyone looking for an ATV/UTV/bike would consider anywhere other than Southern Honda Powersports. Five stars for sure!

A great purchasing experience! No pressure, no haggle, and no hidden fees. Shop around other dealers and you will understand why this is a huge difference in the industry. Compare the out the door cost from your favorite dealer, and Southern Powersports. What I discovered was enough to make me want to drive to Southern Powersports to make my purchase.

Quantity over quality. Beware any 15/16 CBR/F 300 sold here. CRITICAL workmanship flaws from their service department during the recall fix, made it less than 2 weeks/300 miles before having total cam chain tensioner failure due to their disregard of torque values. They have a lot of inventory and the sales people are friendly, those are the only positives. The extended warranty is pushed very hard and they come up with the low advertised prices by figuring in all POSSIBLE discounts. They won't negotiate on ANYTHING, period. I paid cash for a new motorcycle and they wouldn't even humor throwing in a service manual or cheap accessory. They'll say anything to close a deal (claimed they don't do test rides when I asked if my bike was a demo) even contradicting their website. Shoddy parts/service department doesn't seem to know their own product and will throw random numbers out asking for things like the maintenance schedule. Told by three people any authorized Honda dealer will do warranty work, a big deal since they're several hours away compared to 15 minutes from the local dealer. After my engine failure I find out recall related issues are suppose to be taken to THEM, not just any dealer. After talking to Honda corporate and asking my local dealer in person I was able have them honor my warranty here. Not worth driving several hours to "maybe" save a little money and get subpar service.

way below normal on this last visit. Took more than a week to change a front tire. When they removed the front fender they snapped the wires going to an eagle on the fender and did not correct. The performed a recall for the rear brake and reattached the brake peddle so high that I cannot even get my foot between it and the engine. More repairs for me after paying for professional service.

BEWARE of their Binding Arbitration Agreement which limits your rights to court for fraud and other issues. They refused to complete a cash sale on a new ATV unless I signed. I unloaded the ATV and left. They next day they said the would waive that requirement but I purchased elsewhere at a dealer who does not intimidate customers this way. Why do they do this? Is it related to the fact that they have been fined by the NTSB for over $100,000 for selling units which had not been prepared for safe operation? They also removed my first 1 star review from their website...no wonder they show almost a 5 star rating there. You may be OK with their practices, but be an informed consumer.

Reading reviews just to try to find out more information about this dealership. I've been in contact with the sales department and thinking of making a 600 mile trip from Northern Ohio to purchase a 2019 Gold Wing just because the prices are so good, and I've been getting quick, informative email responses which is nice. Still scary driving that far to the unknown.

Took my pioneer in to be serviced they called and said both inner and outer front cv boots were bad on the right axle. I told them to replace them but when I called back they said the parts wasn't on the market yet. When I went back to pick it up the paper work said the left outer boot was bad. I asked the man at the counter to show me the bad boot but he couldn't find one. I asked to speek to the mechanic that worked on my unit but he wasn't at work. I asked to speek to the service manager but also wasn't at work. They were suppose to check the valve lash but i dont think they did so I wish that I had marked the bolts so it would be easy to see if they checked them or not. The rear brakes were making a noise but they didn't even repair. Still under warranty but its not going back. I will take it somewhere else.

Original lens cover for a turn signal fell off when husband hit a pothole. Southern Honda Powersports had an OEM one for sale. Arrived packaged safely, perfect fit!

Great place to buy a Honda! The prices are what is listed no negotiating and you know you get the lowest price. Management made an exception for us to receive a promotional deal since we were close to the time frame. Josh was great to work with and did not pressure us at all into buying. He also opened the test track for us when it was closed. Thanks so much!! We WILL be back!! Will certainly recommend to everyone!!

DO NOT take your Bikes here for Service!!!!!!!!

Brought my cbr600rr in for service and they held it for 2 and a 1/2 MONTHS!

When I asked why it was taking so long they had no answer. They did not even offer to compensate me in any way for the absolutely ridiculous amount of time waited. After finally getting the bike back it was not even completed.

This was my First experience with Southern Honda Powersports, and I will NEVER return.
DO NOT GO HERE

I'm a pretty difficult person to please, but my experience here was as close to perfect as it gets. Jamie, Kyle, and Nick were awesome. It was worth the six hour drive from my home. I will be back!

The salesman was not qualified to explain of all necessary information of my first bike that was purchased from this location. And the finance lady as well as the salesperson are not responding and following up on my preordered extra parts in timely matter. Totally disappointed.

Not sure what to expect when I walked in looking for a helmet. Went to the service desk and Tammy was patient and very helpful with my little one and getting her sized up. She took time showing us options and what the safest options were. Customer service was absolutely a 5 star experience.

Great experience with Mitch & the rest of the team in finance at Southern Honda. They're an hour drive from me, but actually stocked the bike I was looking for over $1500 cheaper than one of my local dealers. One dealer refused to even carry the bike unless I prepaid for two, and I'm still waiting on the other to call me back with a quote I asked for almost a month ago! Southern Honda was even willing to hold the bike for a day or so until I could get down to look at it. I'll be back for my next purchases for sure based on the service I received!

My wife and I bought our first Goldwing here after looking elsewhere. Price was very important but so is being valued as a customer. After meeting George, Calvin, Heather and all the others, we are compelled to say that the experience was an absolute joy. Easy and quicker service without an appointment. Everything was explained well and during my wait. Meaghan in the apparel and helmet dept showed me some nice equipment.

Great customer service I called every honda dealer within 150 mile radius of my home all wanted 200 to 300 doc fee 400 to 500 destination fee for a honda rancher and I was buying 2 that's a lot of money to add on why do you have to pay for it to be shipped to the dealership an for them to write it up that's bs southern Honda power sports came in with no destination fees no documentation fee an was 200 less on the MSRP than any other dealer the price of the bike plus tax of course funny one dealer called twice I told them I was going to southern honda they said we cant compete with them the salesman was excellent parts department was great to o would highly recommend southern honda if I was going to buy a new or used motorcycle an this is coming from someone who doesn't leave reviews.

Had suspension removed on my mx bike so it could be tuned. Brought suspension back after rebuilding and had it reinstalled. After a few motos at a practice track discovered that the lower fork clamp bolts were loose and one was missing. Service manager chose to argue with me and tried to convince me that the bolts just backed themselves out rather than accept responsibility. Actually implied that my bike was too old and that maybe someone at the track had tampered with it along with a lot of excuses. Very disappointed...

Bought a 2016 Honda Rancher here, had a very enjoyable experience, they were very knowledgeable, and very helpful. Would definitely refer a friend to come buy a fourwheeler from here. Ryan Daignault was my salesperson and did a wonderful job.

I was looking for a new 2018 Goldwing and called several dealers for price and availability. Adam Boggs from Southern Honda quickly responded to my quote request and informed me of their inventory. The quote was a simple out the door price with a good discount and no added fee BS. Southern Honda is about 2 hours from me but was worth the drive. I went out the following Saturday and test drove the DCT model. Adam Boggs was a pleasure to work with, no pressure no rush. I put a deposit on the motorcycle added a couple accessories. My entire experience at Southern Honda was great, I would certainly buy from them in the future.
