Fine, But had 2 go in 2 order takeout due 2 mess when you call..... Sorry were Closed... ????? Really?? Any wonder not many call in's....

Great atmosphere, live music on patio where you can watch the sun set over the bay. Menu with items to please any craving for pizza, pasta or salad.

One of the best meals ever (I had the gnocchi)! Great casual atmosphere. We love the location by the Bridgeport Waterfront Resort.

Great Location but...

This was an unplanned stop after a day of searching for lighthouses. The location is great as you look out on the water and across the street from the Door County Maritime Museum. Located on the upper level from the street, I decided to take a chance before the dinner crowd arrived.
The interior is great with sizable booths and side tables. It offers a great feel for couples or a party of five or more.
I ordered a ten-inch half pepperoni and BBQ chicken on thick crust. The sauce was somewhat salty. The Parmesan crust, at times, seemed too doughy. If I were to return, I would try the buffet bar that is offered between 4:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday so that I could try not only the thin crust pizza but other pasta items to get a fair range of their food.

They deliver to the resort we were at. Food was good but we didn't have to drive there so PERFECT!!

Food here is SO good!! Service was a bit slow, but only because they're so busy. I highly recommend this place!

I had chicken marsala and it was out of this world! My wife was not as pleased with her pizza, but she is also a connoisseur! The View was beautiful, the service was great. Don't shy away!

Amazing stuffed pizza! Authentic good Italian food. Best part is they had an excellent taco salad for those who do not love Italian food. It may take a little bit, but worth the wait for GOOD quality food!! Food that is served too quick is pre cooked and not fresh. Olive garden! Yuck!! We had delivery and special requests on side.

Chicago-style, family-owned pizzeria with amazing lake views. Authentic italian ingredients and entrees which will win you over. We indulged in the following menu items and highly recommend that they be eaten together: lobster ravioli w/ shrimp, chicken alfredo pizza, margarita pizza and rigatoni boscaiola. And of course, if you're of age, you would want to wash it down with a few glasses of Prosecco. With an abundance of outdoor dining options alongside of accessibile waitstaff, no wonder why this establishment has been open for over 20 years. Kudos to both the owner and management for providing a space where friends and families can enjoy hearty souful bites at an affordable price. If you've ever been to Little Italy in NYC (Bronx), this dining experience is extremely reminiscent of that.

After 20 days of eating out during our trip, it was the first time we regretted the fact that you have to leave a tip. The tattooed girl with attitude serving us was not worth a dime, she couldn't have cared less. Shame really, as the food was nice and other staff were friendly. But one bad apple can ruin a reputation

Grear place for lunch buffet, only 7.99 for pizza and salad bar with ice cream. Can't beat that. Tuesday afternoon. Service was friendly. Over looks the marina.

Delicious Friday night perch fry and pizza! Have been here twice in the last week. 1 pound of perch is 15.99 which you just can't find anywhere else in door county!

We come here whenever we are in Door County. The place is fun and relaxing. The food is always abundant and delicious, whether you get pasta, pizza, appetizers, etc. The salad bar is great. Wait staff is always friendly and helpful!!

The southwest chicken salad was good as was the ricotta-stuffed gnocchi. The portions were huge, including the kids' meals. It was strange that the kids menu was not available printed out, though. We looked online, and the waiter told us verbally what the options were.

Pizza is awesome, salad is great, and you can order to-go and have a beer at the bar while you wait! You can also just come and pick up a jar of pasta sauce and a package of pasta from the little refrigerator they have. Lots of parking and great views. Left my purse here once like a dummy and when we came back next day they had it stashed away for me.

Was there recently with my friends and we all work in the service industry... It waitress was not very good, she never told us her name, could not describe the beer selection, got multiple parts of our order wrong, gave us attitude when presenting the bill... She has frizzy hair and no sense of humor...try to avoid her

Good pizza! The wait for delivery was long but at least what they told us was accurate (45 minutes).

We waited for about an hour and I went and asked them when was our # up and they said that they didn't have that # written down. And then told me it would be awhile before we could get a booth. WOW. MADE IT SOUND LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT.

I just ordered from sonnys and the delivery driver was quite rude and I'm sorry but every other driver that I've had has never been rude before so yes I did not give him a tip!!

Stopped with my daughter when coming thru Sturgeon Bay right at opening. We ordered the pizza buffet and the kitchen quickly had at stocked shortly after ordering! Food was tastey, Staff was pleasant, and restaurant was clean!

We came in right when they opened- only one other couple inside. We ordered 2 appetizers to-go and it took 40 minutes! They had no reason of why it took so long. Food was okay, definitely not worth the wait.

Prices changed to often food is in consistent staff is in consistent quality isn t what it once was friendliness is only there if you pay for it specialty orders expect to get a different price every time and an attitude if you bring it up to the management. Ordered Rigatoni with porchini mushroom sauce. Was deliscious. I made 4 meals out of it. Garlic bread was excellent. Waiter was really nice and seemed excited about his job.

Since the move to the new location the service and food at the Sturgeon Bay Sonny's has deteriorated greatly.

I wouldn't suggest coming here for the pizza buffet in the last hour. The pizza wasn't even lukewarm and there were flies everywhere. On the clean plates, on the pizza and salad and on us. I'm not even bothered by a couple hairs I found in my food. I expect that when I eat out but the other problems were unacceptable. The employees have an excuse for everything but we still leave dissatisfied and won't be back. In the old building, we never had a bad meal. But the views in the new building are excellent! Also, the lunch buffet is only $6.99 and there was also chicken today because it is a Thursday. So the value was good!

Delicious pizza and wings, fast delivery service.

We ordered and had the pizza to our door within 30 minutes. The pizza itself was very delicious, lots of cheese and toppings. Wings are of the deep fried variety and very tasty.

The pizza was great. The waitress seemed to be covering a couple to many tables but did a good job. The prices were ok.

Overall an amazing experience. 1 hour wait was the only downside but was reasonable due to them being pretty busy and there being 15 people in our party. Food was served quick, delicious and reasonably priced. The portions are large enough to satisfy most people. Staff was very friendly and took careful precautions against COVID-19 (probably started wearing masks more recently because previous reviews complained about lack of mask-wearing?). Our party s waitress, Ashley, was especially helpful in helping us choose tourist spots around the area to visit considering we struggled to find decent places to visit earlier in the day.

The food and service were excellent. A group of seven of us ordered pizza, which was very delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and speedy. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing.

Good food. But some severs where not nice and very rude

No Covid precautions at all. Servers were not wearing facemasks, menus are being reused without wiping, minimal table cleaning between guests.Servers on phones between serving guests, no hand washing.
Watched a patron sneeze and leave a table, nothing wiped before next guest.
We left.
Sad as their food has been decent in past trips. Servers 18-25 so YIKES.

I wanted to order food on the our door patio. The bartender said they were shorthanded and no food was able to be ordered. I tried to go on their app andkordernsome food but the app wasn't working either. So I called from my cell phone and place a order for 2 meatballs which was 2.00 on the online menu and a small garlic bread 1.00. When the meatballs rang up as 3.00 they were not willing to make good on their online menu price. I didn't receive any eating utensils I had to ask for them. I then oroceeprocee to take my food back out to the outdoor patio where the table next to next to me was being delivered 2 huge appetizer platters for 8 people because they were related to the bar tender. I will probably not visit Sonny's again whixh is a shame bwcbeca the meatballs were amazing . Customee service folks.

Fabulous pizza! Worth splurging the calories on. Greek salad was so huge had to share with hubby. Would definitely come back.

Food was outstanding! Social distancing could have been a little better it seemed. Scenery was great as was the service.

We went here on a Saturday evening in July, and we were able to get a table almost immediately. The food and service was good, but my biggest complaint is the noise. It was so loud in the restaurant that I was actually having trouble hearing people that were at the same table as me. I would probably be willing to return, but perhaps next time during non-prime hours so I can actually have a conversation with people I'm with.

Good service, was super packed. Opted for the buffet, was the saltiest food I've ever had. I assume it's because they make the money of buttons drinks.

Sonny s is not following CDC guidance for protecting their customers or staff from COVID-19. Staff does not wear masks and they there is no social distancing - tables are full right next to each other, even inside. Do not go there until the pandemic is over or they change their practices! Food was fine but not worth the risk.

Love the food....the staff should work a lil harder to get the orders correct my family of 5 always has something screwed up....

We love this place..... It is a must visit place. The food is great!!!!!
