A friendly welcome from the check-in counter provided by a French native team member (from Lyon). Efficient check-in process meaning quickly in my room.
Very optimal access from the airport in 5 mn only!

Might actually be the best staff and service I've ever experienced in a UK hotel! Staff couldn't do enough for us! Part of a weekend Herbalife conference with 1000 attending but the hotel ran slick and smooth the whole time. My room was beautifully decorated for a celebration with petals on the bed and a two tier cake made from towels, fake candle and chocolates!
They looked after birthday cakes, refreshed water for flowers I received and helped sort an energency prescription too! They couldn't do more to help and all with a smile and effortless ease.
I highly recommend!!

Everything was perfect. I was very surprised that you could not hear the planes at the airport. It was so quiet and the service was perfect. Very professional. Would recommend it to anyone.

Very good service, if you need a place to stay after a long flight? Here you go. This hotel is amazing for that and the night will be comfortable. Enjoyed the stay here and love it. Friends recommended it to me, I recommend it to you.

But someone took my email address and used it to set up a "LeClub AccorHotel" account for someone name "Priya Kothari" and I have received daily spam since. There appears to be no way to unsubscribe without the account credentials and I of course do not have those, and I have found no live links to contact customer service about this.

Because of this misappropriation of email addresses I've decided that while I would certainly recommend staying that the Sofitel Heathrow if one needs to overnight without leaving the airport, one must closely guard one's personal information to keep the hotel's parent corporation from misusing it.

Walking access from Heathrow T5 is the best thing about this Hotel. Drivers from ATN Cars pickup / drop off passengers from this hotel to transfer guests to Gatwick airport or other locations within England. They offer 20 minutes free More

Very comfortable stay. Exceeded my expectations. Very friendly staff throughout. Amazing room facilities & comfy beds. The following staff were fab - Robert at check-in (very welcoming & recognised my club membership), Prisha in the Sphere bar - very friendly, chatty, courteous & helpful. Finally Raymond at breakfast - excellent customer service and friendly/helpful. No request was too much trouble.

The staff needs better communications skills. It was such a cold environment. Are they not use to blacks using the hotels? The body language from the staff was so discouraging that approaching them was initially hard for me. Then I reminded myself that I am a paying customer and should not allow anyone to be disrespectful. Is it against the law in the UK to smile?

The Sofitel brand is staffed with people who care about your experience . The French restaurant at the London Heathrow was exceptional. Seven course meal with wine pairing was such a deal. Great service with detailed information of each serving . We are still talking about it with friends and family.

Excellent hotel and perfect if you are leaving or arriving at Terminal 5 as it is attached. Service is impeccable and the rooms are great. Don't forget that you can use their executive lounge if you have priority pass.

Since the arrival of the flight UA-901 was at 7:00 am, I reserved the room one night earlier so not to wait for the check-in time at 2:00 pm. Unfortunately the plane was delayed for 3 hours and I was at the front desk at about 10:00 am. To my great chagrin, the hotel front desk agent with her manager could not find in the system my reservation, which was confirmed by the AccorHotel company several days before my departure. All clarification took a bit more than 1 hour and I was happy that I found on my laptop a copy of the receipt that played a key role. They agreed that there was an error and I was finally able to go to my room. I stay at this hotel quite often, and I hope this unpleasant fact will not change my impression.

A great place to stay for either pre or post flight.
Attached to terminal 5 so no hassles with shuttle buses etc.
I got a great early booking price that was the same as cheaper hotels on the outskirts and then then received a free room upgrade when I checked in (Thank you Stephanie)
A big place though so get your bearings before heading off.
Bar prices very very expensive but T5 amenities very close.
Overall a lovely and calming place to stay.

Our experience at the Sofitel was very comfortable and relaxing. The Member's Lounge was beyond our expectations and we enjoyed a lovely complimentary breakfast. The restaurant the night before was very accomodating and found us a table late on Sunday night without reservations. My son raved about his Shahi Pizza! Thank you for making our overnight transit through LHR such a unexpectedly wonderful experience.

"Free internet" is so slow they force you to buy. Literally unusable, and unacceptable for any business traveler. Spent 45 minutes trying to get it upgraded, thoroughly incompetent staff was unable to make that happen. Pretty sad for 200 GBP per night with a "free internet" lie. As a business traveler who stays in hotels over 100 nights per year, they'll never get my or my team's business this way and have lost it for years to come. Nothing else matters when your BP goes into 4 digits because you can't do your basic work after being promised you could.

Room was excellent. Modern, well furnished, large. Bathroom was well designed and I liked the Hermes amenities. Baggage service also excellent - quick, efficient and friendly. Location next to T5 perfect for our overnight stay.

Check in was terrible. We had to wait for 20 mins in a queue with 2 young children at 11:30 pm at night. There were only 2 counters open while 3 other hotel staff were sitting at the back doing paperwork. No one seemed interested in easing the process for the 20+ people waiting in line.

Convenient for T5 but worn carpets in room corridors and stains/wear/chips in rooms. Expensive for What You Get, Main Benefit is no Bus from Remote Hotels. Long Wait for Restaurant and Very Average Service When You Are Seated. Gave up waiting and ordered room service on this visit.

The food was very poor quality the chicken salad was described as a chicken breast but was more like a two day old chicken nugget left to dry under the hot plate. The "high-speed" Internet was not even 1mb download at a bargain price of More

I arrived from an over night flight to the hotel around 6 am and was told that no rooms were available due to being fully booked the night before. So I would have to wait for housekeeping and check back around noon. I had to wait 3 1/2 hours to get a room and was told I was lucky to get a room that early. I had informed the hotel that I would be arriving early. I thought that because this was a hotel connected to a large international airport that they would be able to accommodate guests at differing arrival times. It is unexcusable that they cannot get a roomed clean prior to noon. Getting a room after noon defeats the purpose of combating jet lag. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU HAVE AN EARLY ARRIVAL TIME!!!

We have stayed here on a number of occasions. We like the hotel very much but this time we had a very long wait at check in - we were hoping for a fast queue as I am a Club Accor member but no such luck

Really nice hotel with fountains in the lobby. The staff are really friendly and attentive. Parking is absolutely extortionate so I wouldn't recommend bringing a car. The room we stayed in was nice and clean and the bed was so comfortable. The only bad thing about the room was that when I opened the curtains, I saw the car rental stand which was quite strange. First hotel I've stayed in which doesn't have a window facing the outside, not ideal as the room was a little hot. Overall the hotel is really nice.

Comfortable & clean rooms. Helpful service. We had requested a room close to elevators & it was provided.
We reached late evening from Boston - prompt & fast checkin. Bags delivered to our room without delay.
The restaurant closes too early for an airport hotel. Some cafeteria & eating facilities are required till at least midnight. We stayed for two nights
& had dinner in the restaurant the second night. dinner was of good quality with prompt service.
Good hotel but high priced. Outlets for mobile & laptop charging need to be modified to accept different size plugs.

Great Hotel,

Great Hotel,
but all the 5* extras you pay for has been shut down. At the moment this is a 3 Star property worth 100. At most.

At least the bar is open.
