Sofitel T5 Review

As far as an airport hotel, you won't find a better hotel than this one. Don't make the mistake of staying somewhere else.

Professional hotel. Service excellent (apart from Spa). Super conference venue.

Room was wonderful! The best part was the express walkway right into Terminal 5 so no bus or Taxi needed to get to airport from hotel. We stayed over night before our early flight the next day. Check in and out was easy and the staff were very helpful with loading bags onto carts for you.

Very easy to access T5 Heathrow. Beds are comfortable, towels are thirsty, rooms are clean and food is accessible.

Super convenient for Terminal 5 as you can just work over. Good choice of food. Elegant and nice little spa.

Covid one room imprisonment in luxury fixings. Fine if you are techies.

Very good, but lost our car for a while but we had a coffee while they sorted out.

Lovely staff, accommodating. They have several desks and multiple staff in the reception area able to assist as needed. Rooms were good sized and quiet for being beside an airport. Bathrooms were large and there was good counter space in both the bathrooms and the rooms for toiletries and our luggage. French Restaurant in the hotel had good service and outstanding food.

Perfect hotel if you're traveling to or from Heathrow Terminal 5. A bit more expensive than the average hotels in the Heathrow airport but probably worth the extra cost.

Nice hotel and easy to reach by walkway from T5. Friendly staff, nice rooms but not the cheapest in area.

The hotel can not be Closer to the airport. It is almost on the runway.

I ve stayed several times in this impecable hotel, and every single time, I ve loved it. It s got everything I need when on my way to Wales. It s extremely convenient as it is right inside the airport terminal 5. I love The Club Millesime, which is a 45 pound upgrade, but worth every pound, I highly recommend it. However, if you want to visit the a lovely capital of England, London, as a tourist, then this hotel is not for you, it s about an hour drive away from downtown London.

Advantage and it's that you can walk directly to terminal 5 at Heathrow.
Rooms are ok - no complaints but often you have no day light as many overlook the hotel internally.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Location is fantastic if you are landing or leaving from terminal 5. Food is a bit pricy for the quality.

My husband and I was greeted and looked after very well by all your staff, but Raymond in particular paid special attention to our needs during our stay thank you Raymond.

The hotel is located directly on the T5 and can also be reached from the other terminals without a taxi. The rooms are spacious and spacious. Unfortunately you can see here and there heavy wear on switches.

The largest hotel in heathrow airport. Directly connected with t5 within walking distance. Stndard room is small but enough for a family. They have spa facility but you need to pay 25 pound for 24 hrs access. Breakfast was good and has many option. If you need a car rental sixt ia located within the hotel.

Stayed for 1 night at Sofitel Heathrow. Very comfortable stay. Hotel very efficient and staff all helpful and very polite.

Volume on TV was too low to be heard. Hotel management would not adjust.

Front desk help was not as attentive as it could have been.

Great place to meet either arriving or before flying off from Term 5 Staff are helpful & do Great Coffee! Bit pricey!

Hotel was responsible for requesting for wheel chair, but did not do so. I waited 4 hours!

Everything including dinner, spa and breakfast was great. Once again your transport desk let us down. Delayed arrival for a car we had booked the previous night. I complained but to no avail. A great experience at the hotel messed up.

I will never understand why Eroupe insists on slamming two beds together to make a larger bed, but it is Europe after all. This is the first time that this combination has found two beds at different heights, so one slides off the higher bed into my partner, like falling off a cliff. Anyway this is an average hotel, I just came from a three star hotel in Spain that far exceeds this hotel service rating.

For the life of me, cannot figure out why this is called a luxury hotel. They have absolutely got to rehaul their air conditioning system. Everytime I stay here the rooms are blazing hot, even in the winter. You can lower it to 17, but it still measures 23/24 even after the so called A/C has been running for hours. And this has been each and every time I have stayed here over the years. This always makes for a stuffy room and uncomfortable stay. I don t get it.

Very good but the reason why I stay with the Sofitel Hotels is because you normally have extremely large beds and great pillows! This time we only had one pillow each ( there was one extra in the wardrobe) and the bed was not particularly large.

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Could not get back to sleep. Felt awful for 2 days after it. On checkout no one asked if I had a good stay or said anything about the fire alarm. It would have been nice that they just acknowledged it the next morning.

poor - checked in at 8.15pm ish 4/8/17 . On arrival in room phone immediately rang with reception asking if room was ok - with TV noise in background the sound coming from 'Service Room' next door was not apparant . On trying to get to sleep at 10.30 as we were up at 3.30 - noise was horrendous I have recordings of noise levels if required . Didnt complain as by the time it would have been checked out & moved to another room - I wouldnt get any sleep at all . Ironically no Sleep was gotten anyway

Great hotel close to the airport! However, it is a long way from the city centre. Rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is very friendly. Excellent quality

We stayed at Sofitel due to a mistake with booking, couldn't be any happier with that choice. Stuff was amazing, breakfast the best we ever had. Worth every minute spent there. Cant wait to go again

Stayed overnight for a morning flight, beds were comfortable, and food was good.

Very good, expensive (especially the services like the restaurant), very good choice for comfort. It is walking from terminal 5. Ideal to rent a car and shorten the rental period on arrival in London if you arrive late. Sixt has the service in the hotel itself.
In addition, interesting Accor Hotels loyalty program.

I have stayed at Sofitel LHR before so I knew it was a nice hotel. It was around 10 p.m. when we checked in, but the staff accommodated us for dinner in the bar/lounge. The room was Very Quiet. It was so quiet, we almost overslept the next day. The bed was very comfortable and it was a cozy room. A wonderful hotel for the weary traveler. I forgot some important papers that I needed for my trip and I was able to use the public computer and printer in the hotel lobby to get these back. It really saved my day ! Thank you so much !

Beautiful hotel and location, very covinient to reach by train to terminal 5 connected to hotel.

I have sent an email with regards to our stay and have requested a refund. Our bathroom flooded and we had to pack up and be moved to a different room.

We have stayed here before, it s very convenient. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly & professional. It's a joy to stay. This is the first time we have booked car parking for our holiday, the space for our size car is very good, we are impressed. We shall use this again, no doubt

Each time I walk to the lobby their staff greeted me when I looked like I was confused they were ready to help me so that I knew where I needed to go it was my first experience in England and I was very impressed thank you for the kindness And the knowledgeable staff was extremely helpful

Fantastic hotel with lovely rooms and extremely helpful staff. The incredibly close proximity to the terminal is worth it alone!

From checkin to checkout, everything was just great. The room most comfortable n always clean. I was so tired I never ordered any food this trip. Only thing is I am upset I have not gotten any points from any of my one night stays! This should be corrected! !!

The best choice to stay closed to LHR. I have been here around four times. The room is okay. But the food in the restaurants isn't that good. The last time when I visited few days ago, I ate pasta, calamari and salad at Vive. I felt very uncomfortable in the next day. I think the root cause could be the pasta or calamari.

Parked and stayed the night before an early flight to Italy. Good comfortable room. Check-in was a little slow. Had very good meal in Vivre with attentive service. Checked out at 6am with no queue.
Our return BA flight was delayed which meant that after I collected the car, the ticket I was given at check-in was no longer valid so had to park again and go to reception to get another one. Receptionist was very helpful and didn't charge for the overstay. Although if she had, I would have claimed the amount back from BA.

Great quality hotel connected to T5 - it's about a 5 minute walk along from main concourse, not well signposted.

We had stay here overnight before flight to LA. Room was well appointed but weird that us booked for 2 adults and 1 child and they hadn't set up a sofa or extra bed for my daughter - on asking they sorted though.

Accommodation outside doorstep of Heathrow airport, helpful, friendly staff

We needed short overnight stay and not to worry to travel to the airport in early AM, this hotel was perfect for this matter.

Excellent facilities, courteous and helpful staff and the food was delightful. Minor hiccup during the check-in but this was handled superbly and didn't impact my stay the slightest.

Amazing hotel. Great spread breakfast. Helpful staff. I would have given 5 star had they not given me the last room in the furthest possible corner of their hotel. Otherwise I am a returning customer and will continue to return.

The stay was wonderful. The room was clean, bed was extremely comfortable, variety of restaurants, helpful and professional staff, and beautifully decorated. I didn't want to leave!

We stayed at Sofitel for one night as a result of a cancelled flight, and it was definitely relieving after the exhausting experience at the airport. Quiet, comfy, luxurious, lovely! We were able to regain energy after a good night's sleep and a delicious breakfast. The staff was very kind at all times, too. I'd come back any time, no doubt.

I was due to stay on the Saturday night when BA cancelled all its flights. As I could not fly from Milan I wrote to the Sofitel explaining the situation that I wanted to give up my room for some of the people who were stuck at Heathrow and had no where to stay. For giving up my room I asked Sofitel to refund my stay. In fact the rates being charged meant that I was doing Sofitel a big favour. They still haven't responded on whether they will refund me. Given that BA had thousands of customers to deal with and have already refunded my additional costs and compensation this is very poor customer service from Sofitel.

The only disappointment was the view...of the Sixt counter!
The lady who checked me in could not have done anything more for me, she was delightful.

I stay here several times a year and I am never disappointed.

Very nice hotel. Staff is very attentive. It is expensive, it is someplace my wife and I can't stay on a regular basis, but we really enjoyed ourselves, it was a treat.

Very good hotel very well located, direct access to T5 free rail access to T2+3 and London by train in 20 mins, all good reasons to stay however rooms and breakfast are excellent.
