Excellent hotel and best location.

Excellent hotel and best location.
In terminal five of the airport.
The super comfortable bed.
Good option if you fly early.
You do not have to leave the airport.
Too quiet.

Perfect overnight stop between or before flights. Impeccable service, quiet rooms with all the amenities and a special restaurant if you want a great meal to end a busy day. Baggage carts are right in the lobby so you can wheel the bags to your next flight.

Gorgeous hotel. We had to stay overnight as our plane was grounded. The rooms were beautiful, although I did find it rather alarm g as I went into my room and the TV was already on. I thought I was in the wrong room. Breakfast was a banquet. So much choice of such a variety of foods and breakfast styles. Staff were all so polite. Super stop over.

It was my first experience at a Sofitel. I am used to Accor group hotels, and I was disappointed. It was supposed to be the most luxurious of the ones I had made, but I prefer the MGallery.

Then, nothing exceptional in the room, except the high-end bedding ...
So quite disappointed in the end!

One night at the Sofitel Heathrow was exactly what I needed between two long flights. Very comfortable, very convenient. The room service food was outstanding as was the breakfast. Staff were courteous and professional and seemed to hold up well under the constant barrage of weary fliers arriving at all hours.
Excellent job, keep it up!

We stayed here our last night in the UK to be close to the airport for our morning flights. Very fine experience. Check-in was quick and pleasant. The champagne bar is such a nice, soothing spot. The restaurant had good service and great tasting food. And the room was good, with a spacious, well-designed bathroom. And it's so close to the airport that it is super convenient. We couldn't have been happier.

Horrible. You have lost a 25 year customer. I booked on line thru your web site four months ago. As soon as i finished, i discovered i had peeked the wrong date, by one day. Your site only allows a person to book a non refundable rate. As i travel a lot, i never book a non refundable rate. But that was your only option.

I would have paid a little more for a refundable, change rate.

I have stayed at sofitel Hotels all over the world fir 25 years.
You have lost me as a customer.

The accommodations were clean and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet in the hotel. I especially liked how accessible the hotel is to the airport. Made travel so much easier. Well worth the money.

I got food poisoning at the Vivre restaurant at the Sofitel London Heathrow -- confirmed by a doctor's written visit notes. We were unable to depart that morning for the United States since I was violently ill, and we were forced to stay an extra night. My husband asked if they would comp us the room stay since I got sick from a salad at their restaurant. Three different hotel managers he talked to -- the restaurant manager, the day manager, and one above the day manager -- said they "were not authorized," and offered only a 30% discount on the room rate. We said that was unacceptable. We have now paid over 600 USD out of pocket because of a bad salad for the extra night, doctor's visit, and medications. We will never stay at this property again, nor we will recommend it, not primarily because of the food poisoning, but mostly because of the way we were treated by staff. They questioned the veracity of our account, and I felt very offended, on top of being ill and in pain. To me, the managers at the Sofitel London Heathrow seemed as if they didn't care if we ever came back again. Needless to say, I won't be staying there again.

Early flights are made much more enjoyable if you have a good night's sleep beforehand and don't have to drive to the airport. This hotel is perfectly located and has a good range of dining facilities. It also accommodates my car for the weekend, so I can drive up the night before the flight, and returning simply drive away home. Nice.

Nice hotel. Huge and so conveniently located in Terminal 5.

The Arora Suite hosts a huge conference hall that can easily take a thousand participants!

Nice ambience. Pricey but I wouldn't mind staying here again.

Great for an overnight to get a connection. Room service food was nice but a few mistakes on the room service that were not a huge deal, rectified it quickly. Otherwise would have been 5. Rooms are great, especially the bathroom.

Very Accor, it was faultless but the lack of native English speaking receptionists lets them down daily on the little big things, plus staff seem very nervous, and jilted in Accor hotels. They are usually good value and properly if not lavishly appointed room wise. For its location and facilities you cant fault this Sofitel, I guess its not my cup of Earl Grey

Very nice bed and rooms in general. Staff mostly polite, but one did send us in the complete wrong direction to our room. Food is overpriced but still nice. Great location for Heathrow, and maybe even for London. We caught the Heathrow Express into London, which was only 20 minutes.

I recently stayed for 2 nights on a business trip. Staff was extremely courteous and attentive. The physical facilities are beautiful and well appointed. The restaurant had a wide selection of menu items. Breakfast buffet was top notch. Room was comfortable and had lots of outlets/USB slots for charging. Wifi was good. Fitness center was large and had a lot of machines. Would have been nice to run outside, but there was really no place to do so as the hotel is adjacent to the airport.

Overall, super convenient location attached to LHR Terminal 5, easily accessible for free on Heathrow Express. Getting to the hotel can be confusing as Heathrow Express also goes to central London, which does cost money. There are also signs for the London Underground, which could provide free transport to Terminal 5 but you need a either a UK based bank card or a subway card to access the platform, neither of which I had as a visitor from overseas. But staff are friendly and will answer questions and you can figure it out.

As things are rather spread out, do give yourself plenty of time to get from the hotel to your departure terminal and gate. I was departing from Terminal 2 and it took me about 1 hour to go from the hotel to Terminal 2, go through security and reach my gate, and I was walking briskly the whole way.

The hospitable attentive staff, the gorgeous food, comfortable beds, and spacious rooms---all within a short walk without ever leaving Terminal 5! What could be a better hotel experience?

Very helpful staff

Very helpful staff
Room very nice but disappointed it had no water in there.
Bar staff very knowledgeable about Gin.

My husband and I had a very long travel time from the US (18+ hours). We had decided to stay at Sofitel because of its proximity to Heathrow. We knew that we would be exhausted upon arrival and wanted the convenience of being able to relax as soon as we arrived.

Our room didn't disappoint. It was very spacious for a London hotel and had all the modern amenities--including an electrical plug for US appliances--which was very convenient. There was a choice of several restaurants as well as room service--which we took advantage of for breakfast. The staff was very courteous and made our stay very pleasant. We'd definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience here. It's the most perfectly convenient hotel to Heathrow Terminal 5--just a walk down the hall, with easy access by free train to other terminals. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast starts serving at 6:00

The food at the French restaurant was quite good, and the ambience excellent for a business lunch meeting. The entrance to the parking lot could be a bit easier, but I guess that is not the hotel's fault ... but Heathrow's.

Room was overprice for what can only be described as an ordinary hotel room. The only thing the hotel has going for it is location should one be unfortunate enough to have to spend a night at the airport.

From the day we made our reservation o March 9, 2017, until we checked out of the hotel on July 10, 2017, we had a continuous series of frustrations.
-- Your hotel admitted to making an error with our reservation, but refused to honor the price confirmed to us by your reservation agent. We wrote to you, Mr. Berri, to your location in France, and to several reservation agents, with no resolution. I would be happy to provide you with all of the emails and dates of phone calls regarding this reservation.
--We were advised it would be easy to get from Terminal 5 to Terminal 2--not true, as it was a $35 car fare.
--Our Car was requested for 4:00 a.m., but when we came to the lobby at 3:50, we were told they made the reservation for 8:00 a.m. Another delay.
--We arrived at 11:00 a.m. on the 10th and our room was not ready. Totally understandable. We provided our passport, address and other information and were told our luggage would be placed in our room while we toured the city. We returned at 5:00 p.m., had to check in with all of our information AGAIN, and our luggage still had not been delivered.
--We were travelling on a ship for the month prior to our stay at Sofitel. Two days before our arrival, we received two email messages from Sofitel saying your computer system had removed our credit card information and you needed it again to confirm our reservation. Our credit card had already been charged for both rooms the month before we left our home.
--Your hotel is lovely and the room upgrade was very nice. However, you may be interested in these observations:
--In the lobby of the hotel, there is no indication of the name Sofitel anywhere, except for a very small
sign on a side wall , acknowledging Aurora.
--Every flower arrangement in the lobby--really, every one--was completely dead
--Two of the upholstered chairs in the lobby were dirty enough that people did not sit on them.
--The lady assisting us at 5:00 p.m., when we had to check in for the second time, was very rude. We were
polite when explaining we had already registered. Her response was, "Now this is not the end of the world." Honestly, we knew that, but it was not a professional response.
--The gentleman at the Customer Relations desk in the morning was very rude. However, in the afternoon there was a delightful young woman at the desk and she was most helpful. She was the solitary light of our experience.

Please understand, we always respond to questionnaires regarding our hotel experiences and usually have many positive responses, but this has been a difficult experience and we simply are hoping you will take note so that others will not have the same responses.

Thank you for your interest.
