Great as always. First day of the second coming of...

Great as always. First day of the second coming of C so no restaurant! But - no fear, full breakfast room service a welcome diversion. And delicious. Before I forget - the overnight Covid test was simple and fast. My results were in at 03:34.

Getting to stay at Sofitel (@LHR airport) for free was a lucky chance for me. I was traveling from India to Boston via London. My flight from LHR to Boston got cancelled and no next flights were available until next day so the airline provided me a night stay at Sofitel. The Hotel was amazing. The Staff was very friendly. The interior design and environment was really eye catching. The room service was very quick. The room in which i stayed was a Deluxe room. The room was very large and very well organized. Overall experience was very nice. I loved It.

The hotel is very good overall. Large, nice and clean room, comfortable bed and spacy shower. Excellent location for an international business meeting. Not the cheapest but the facilities and the services are excellent and the top of what one could get. Much recommended.

- valance sheet around the bed was stained
- no menu for room service, took 2 phonecalls to reception to be emailed a menu
- room had no towels, another call to reception required
- when checking out I discovered my credit card was charged for accommodation despite me confirming to the agent at check-in that I had prepaid.
- I was assured I didn t need to do anything but 6 days later my card is still charged and I haven t been contacted. My attempts to contact the hotel are ongoing but I have received no replies.

When the mistake was spotted at check-out, a manager looked over the issue and offered no apologies or assurances. The staff I interacted with were pleasant but error-prone and did not follow up to rectify errors. I have wasted so much time trying to be billed correctly. Truly horrible.

Check-in was great, the porter was excellent and so fast, that we weren't ready only 5 minutes after calling for him. Our flight was 3 hours late from Oslo, so we checked in at ~ 1 AM, and then the fire alarm/smoke alarm went off at 3 AM waking us up, and my mom who stayed in a separate room thought it was a wake up call, so she got up, showered and dressed at 3 AM, and was exhausted for the rest of the trip. When we asked what happened, we were told it was a guest using a steamer. This can't be true, since a steamer uses water and does NOT create smoke. Ridiculous. No communication and no help when we brought this up when we checked out. We were told we would get an email or call from the manager since he wasn't available. Why was the manager not available? You have managers at all times, so why could this person not be contacted? You have a beautiful hotel, and it is quite convenient, but for the high price, we expected better treatment.

Nicely appointed room and very convenient for the terminal. Restaurants available. Quite expensive but can avoid a very early morning start and much more convenient than most LHR hotels.

Arrived at 21.30 for our reservation to find it had been cancelled at 18.00 hrs (while we were mid flight) as a result of the BA Melt Down - spent an hour in a very chaotic reception area while Ricardo and Natalia resolved the situation - got to bed at 23.30 in a free upgrade Luxury Room.
Great Staff even when under tremendous pressure - BA could learn a thing or two about customer service from the Team at the Sofitel. Many thanks again guys.

After a long day at Wimbledon and a busy journey on public transport it was great to step in to the serenity of the corridor that leads to Sofitel Heathrow.I have stayed here on a number of occasions but this was my first on my own. I was rather frustrated at being queue jumped by a well known politician/ex Mayor of London as everyone wants to check in as speedily as possible. I was pretty quickly attended to at reception despite this and was delighted to hear the words that I was chosen as guest of the day and had been upgraded to a more luxurious room, had free breakfast, free arrival drink, free access to the spa and high speed internet. I was very comfortable in my spacious room and appreciated the nice extras. It was a very short stay but very pleasant.

Just little disappointed that you have changed the closing times of the Millennium (wrong spelling perhaps) from 20:00 hrs to 19:30 hrs. I assume that this is all to do with saving money and I understand that but you could make it a bit clearer to customers.

You will see by my profile that we have stayed with you a few times in recent years and always enjoy ourselves. we upgraded to a luxury room and hoped to take advantage of the facilities as we have done before. It was not explained to me that the snacks and beverages had finished; so along with other people it was disappointing to walk in at 19:50 hrs to find everything put away and no body to talk too.

Never mind, see you again soon.

I enjoyed my first visit here and was excited to book it again on a subsequent trip. My most recent visit, though, I arrived tired in late evening and ordered room service. They lost my order. I called twice asking about it. When it arrived an hour late, the meat was cold and the salad was warm. Then I accidentally left my Kindle in the bathroom. I know exactly where. I emailed the hotel as soon as I realized it (on the plane) and never got a response; then followed up with phone calls when I got back to the States. No answer the first time, and a promise to call back the second time with no further response. I get that things happen but both of these together made for an extremely disappointing experience. I expect more from a 5 star hotel.

We had an early flight from Terminal 5 so decided to book the Sofitel. From check in to check out it was a wonderful experience. Staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Room was very quiet and comfortable.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and ensured that I had an excellent night's rest before my flight the next morning. The location of the hotel could not be better, and the staff at reception were exceptionally helpful and welcoming.

Checkin was quick and efficient. The service and ambience in the Millicieme Lounge made the stay relaxing and makes booking a club room very worthwhile. However, the servicing of the room was below par on the second day with towels, tissues, and water not supplied and one of our room cards taken by the person who was responsible for cleaning the room. Whilst this Card was replaced we found it did not work and had to get the desk to replace it.

Great location and very comfortable stay. Lovely spacious room. Shower was amazing. When I worked out how to turn it off. Very high tech. I need a shower upgrade at home! Nice toiletries. Have booked again for December as it is such a convenient hotel at Terminal 5. Highly recommend

Three paces to dine, all with a French theme? The food offerings need addressing. When there they had scheduled significant guest disruptions such as power outage, registration issues etc. OK these things need to be done. But if you diminish my guest experience I expect you to also diminish my cost.

Our stay at the Sofitel was most enjoyable. All staff were very helpful particularly after arriving very tired from a long day travelling and afterwards at the various hotel locations. The evening meal was very good in the large dining room as was the snack in one of the smaller areas. The room was clean and comfortable with everything that was required. We could not think of any area that could be improved

My pillow had dirty black dots on them. Yuck. The rooms were nice but check in staff didn't even bother with a smile. We tried to chat but clearly they just wanted us out of the way. Great location tho... But they cannot call themselves a luxury hotel. Far from it.

Rooms are clean modern and large enough... Bathrooms space is quite impressive compared with many other European hotels... The only draw back of this hotel is the rooms view.. I have an internal view on the inside hall!

Lovely Hotel, check in easy.Had a lovely coffee in lounge / bar. Bad experience in the sports bar. We went for a drink and snack. Waited 30mins for our drinks waiter didn't bring us any nibbles when we asked her said he was too busy.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and quite a good standard restaurant. Nothing exceptions in terms of food buy decent quality and nice staff. Has good COVID measures.
Only thing that stops me giving five stars is the the rooms seem to look inwards so you are looking at other rooms.

The courtesy, the friendliness, the cleanliness of the room, the sumptuous breakfast, the ambiance, mention it all, I would love to stay more and more if the price was not so dear. Nevertheless, Sofitel London Heathrow will always be my first choice in London

As airport hotels go, this is one of my favorites....

As airport hotels go, this is one of my favorites. Night or day, I can get in a good sleep. Very fast check in, and the WiFi is always solid. I'll stay here when I've got a layover of more than a few hours, or when I've got a need for privacy on a layover for conference calls or to get work done using a day only rate.

It has always been a joy to stay at the Sofitel Heathrow with special mention of the Breakfast crew at Le Vivre, Aireen and Raymond, who are always very welcoming and heartwarming. They really work hard.

We were staying just one night prior to flying out from Heathrow.

The hotel, though large, was very quiet (busier during the week I would imagine), the room was quiet and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.

We booked for the night and a 15 day parking slot, so overall the price was pretty good.

Returned once again to the Sofitel before an early morning flight. Luxurious room (Double upgrade as an Accor cardholder); excellent meal in the restaurant; great night's sleep; and quick and easy express checkout. Not much more we could have asked for other than an on time flight - which BA managed to provide.
