Highly recommended I picked up a Sixt car in his lobby
I have just stayed in this hotel. I cannot praise them enough for their customer care and guest relations. Great spacious rooms, delicious breakfast
Over rated as posh but I give the hotel a 5 out of ten... Am been generous
Outstanding room. Staff were extremely efficient and professional. They responded promptly to my every need/question. I had to print out numerous documents (Covid travel docs). They were very accomdating. The in-room meals (for safety, Covid precaution) was deliver very hot and very flavorful. Highly recommend!
Location for our transit to Canada was good. Dining fare in main dining room was outstanding.
however there were issues with double booking of 2211 which was a disturbance as well as the following 0400 hr wake up call the double booked persons. Through the efforts of my wife at this early hour your staff was able to get the wake up message to the RIGHT people. Now we mentioned that to the duty manager upon departure .. He said he would take it up with his boss to see what amends could be done on our behalf.
Since we were in a hurry to make our flight we couldn t spend time discussing this. As Well since the room was also prepaid by our Travel agent any recompense at our departure would have been awkward.
However this experience and my comments will be passed on to our travel agent.
Ok classic room. But no minibar = very disappoiting at a airport hotel. When travelling you want as little hassle as possible.
We have stayed here many times because it is the best hotel attached to the terminal at Heathrow. Good place to spend an overnight before a flight.
it was nice, but wish we could have had more options within the hotel. Overall, a good functional hotel for a layover at Heathrow.
I had arrived late at Heathrow and had checked into the hotel before taking off the next morning to the US. From the moment of arrival to check out, I had a smooth experience. Remy was the person was the pleasant agent at the front desk. It is amazing how a smile can help a weary traveler. As for the room, I had experienced all the amentities that I would come to expect from this hotel brand. While I usually stay at other luxury hotels, I be adding this to my regular list of options to stay in the future.
Difficult to find from terminal as you have to goto the carpark, get a specific lift to goto a bridge on the other side of the carpark.
Incredible hotel! I only stayed for one night with an early morning flight the following day so I didn't get to enjoy all of the facilities, but I was so impressed with the place!
The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean and there's a great choice of restaurants on the ground floor with excellent service and food.
The hotel is also very easy to find and the short walk through the tunnel into terminal 5 was ideal for me.
Although it's quite expensive to stay here, it was so worth it for the ease of access as well as the luxury of the hotel in general. I would definitely stay here again!
When I got there, was greeted to a 7 minute session of mouse clicks before getting my room key. I was tired after my trip there, so only realized later that this delay was due to being switched from a 2 bed room that I reserved months earlier, to a single bed WITHOUT my permission. I don't remember the room itself, since it was a long trip with many single nights stay, so I guess it was ok. Certainly easy to find the hotel, though layout of the hotel was confusing at first. Just watch out for the switch!
Great service. Excellent room. Would highly recommend.
Easy parking followed by professional and fast check in, then on to a warm, comfortable room. A good nights sleep, an easy check out and back on the road. This hotel provides all you want from a nights stay but without the normal cold and impersonal atmosphere of a global chain.
The bedroom was a sanctuary. Well laid out and small touches well thought out. The sound proofing is amazing, you will have no clue you're at an airport, its so quiet. The staff are simply outstanding. Greeting you throughout the hotel, recognising you, wanting to go the extra mile. In summary this is one very well oiled machine of a hotel without feeling impersonal.
We were flying home out of T5 this trip so we booked Sofitel more out of convenience than anything else. It was great to check out in the morning and literally walk to the airline check in desks within 5 minutes.
Room was well appointed and quiet. We didn't eat at the hotel but did have a few drinks int he bar where the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about cocktails.
Great dinner in gourmet restaurant and very comfortable bedroom.
Excellent, as always - pleasing, comfortable and soothing
supreme attention luxury comfort the most beautiful
Amazing value for your money. I stayed here in November, and it was an amazing vacation. Connected to the airport which makes getting around very convenient. You can't hear the planes at all, and the beds were so soft it was like heaven.
Top class hotel. Will definitely be staying there again.
Lovely hotel for a nice relaxed stay with very close proximity to the air port
Outstanding levels of service from every department and every level of staff who operate as a seamless hospitality team to really take care of the guest
Great location, you can walk from terminal 5 using an enclosed walkway. Rooms are modern. Food and drinks are pricey - you could just pick something up at M&S at the terminal if you want to save money.
We arrived at Heathrow terminal 5 from Madrid late at night and walked about 5 minutes to the hotel and stayed 2 nights. We slept in, had a leisurely, good quality buffet breakfast, went to the gym, soaked our weary bodies in the sauna, had a massage, showered, changed, had a yummy dinner, early to bed then flew out the next morning. A restful, relaxing finish to a wonderful vacation. The hotel is about ten years old but is well maintained. It lacks bedside electrical outlets, we weren't able to find USB ports and oddly, the hairdryer was locked in place at the desk. All that being said, the staff and service were excellent. Definitely four plus stars.
Good overall with great experience at the spa and with the second check in staff member who checked me in, on the first try at checking in a very rude person was extremely off hand so I went an had a very average breakfast and after breakfast I was checked in by a charming lady who could not have been nicer.
On this occasion our experience was not what we would have expected. When we arrived there were not porters to meet us and we had a lot of luggage. Our driver and my husband started to place the cases on a trolly to be confronted by a very rude female member of staff who stated we could not do that and only a porter could put our luggage there. My husband said if a porter had been there he would gladly have let him. She then gave my husband more rudeness and was most unhelpful. What a shame this was the first contact of the hotel on this occasion.
Loved my stay in a very convenient location with friendly service.
Nice hotel at London Heathrow. Staff was very helpful with the check-in. The restaurant had really good food (but not cheap). The included breakfast was really good with a lot of variety (classic English breakfast items, cured meats, waffles, fresh cooked eggs, etc.). Probably one of the best I have had at any hotel. Also surprising to see real honey and maple syrup.
This is the easiest hotel to get to and has a great bar and restaurant section.. You can also easily get back to the terminal and the shopettes for ant thing else you need.
We had problems booking two interconnecting rooms despite staying at the hotel twice before and having them. Was told the only room that could be guaranteed was a suite with a bedroom and separate lounge where beds could be made for the children. When we got there there was no wall or door between the bedroom and lounge so basically all five of us were in one room. My husband and I were therefore unable to watch tv after we had put our children to bed in case we woke them up. As it turned out no-one could get to sleep due to the music coming from a wedding in the hotel. Not good when you have to get up very early to catch a plane.
Great location for terminal 5. The only thing I didn't like was the bed. Yes it was comfortable but it was too soft. Whenever my partner or I turned over, it would wake the other person up.
Great room and service. Very convenient for T5 and parking. Excellent.
Lovely hotel great main hall for parties wedding receptions etc
Had a spa afternoon could not fault it. Followed by afternoon tea which was delicious
On the one hand, location was excellent. On the other hand, just before leaving on our trip my wife left her comb with the receptionist (a sharp point meaning it was unsuitable for hand luggage) and on coming back they were unable to locate it, but took our contact details saying that they would get back in touch after talking to the staff on duty. A fortnight later and we've heard nothing. Restaurant is overpriced as well for what it is. Won't be staying again.
Only used the bar facilities but the service was excellent and decor was very upmarket.
Initial reception was polite and professional.
Room was crisp, clean and very comfortable.
Hotel issue; significant power outage for more than three hours. Staff handled guests in a polite and courtesy manner. Information re the problem was disseminated to guests when possible with professional aplomb.
In general, I have been fortunate to stayed at this hotel regularly since its opening and have never been disappointed.
Exceeded all expectations. Great accommodations, great food, all very polite and helpful. Beautiful and super practical place.
Fantastic, but pricey, airport hotel. Along with Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Gatwick, Heathrow T5 is one of the few terminals in Europe where an hotel is connected by a walkway. That makes it a good place to have meetings, with no need for taxis or buses and the Sofitel is well geared to events up to 1000 people. Food is high quality and rooms are quiet and modern.
For us, having a morning flight out of Heathrow, a stay here was essential. Located right at terminal 5 it was a short walk from lobby to check in / security. A really lovely hotel with great amenities, a friendly staff, and restaurant / bar in the lobby.
Test and rest made travel during covid much less stressful. Lovely staff and calm environment, right inside the airport. Would definitely recommend
We stay regularly at the LHR Sofitel. We always are pleased with the cleanliness, quality of rooms as well as friendly staff. With good restaurant facilities on site, this is a bonus. For Accor members, the Club Millesime lounge is a convenient and helpful additional facility (although for a French hotel, the quality of the wines offered and provided are, frankly, poor)
My favourite Heathrow hotel, the convenience of being able to walk to T5 is great.
The best place ,awesome chef's ,kitchen porter,waiters..
Super luxurious place. Room amenities are plentiful. However, I don't like the fact that they charge for wifi after a certain period.
The hotel is definitely a luxury hotel. However we booked this hotel as the website states there is a pool you must pay to use this area and it is NOT child friendly which is the entire reason we booked this hotel. The website does not make it clear you must be over the age of 18 to use this service. If you have children and want a pool I suggest a different hotel.
Excellent service by everyone as usual. The one let down was the lounge. The breakfast eggs were in my view not edible. There was no decaf espresso available. The gentleman in charge wasn't keeping the food or silverware or plates replenished.
Had an amazing stay here , great room , amazing staff especially BLESSIA the restaurant staff who treated me and my friends with a great smile and amazing hospitality. Enjoyed everybit of it thank you for the superb holiday
Comfy bed, great bathroom made for a refreshing 12-hour layover.
Very Nice hotel and very comfortable room!! It is basically inside the Heathrow Terminal 5 and it is a great solution if you have to catch a plane in the early morning!! I was a little bit disappointed by the food at the hotel restaurant.
The hotel feels like a conference center with expensive, optional extras. The staff are plentiful and very pleasant. The bar is well stocked and convivial. The restaurants are excellent; the menu not extensive but the food is first rate. So what didn't we like?
Having stayed at a number of other airport hotels i'd suggest the Sheraton Skyline for its pool or any of the other hotels along Bath Road for normality. Admittedly, they are not a few minutes walk from Terminal 5 but a bus or taxi gets you to the Terminal in 10 minutes.
The best airport hotel we've stayed at. The highlight is the jacuzzi / swimming pool!
After a long week of meetings in multiple countries I was finally able to slow down and be pampered at the Sofitel
It is very nice stop if you catch overnight in London. Very nice and beautiful hotel, exceptional rooms, friendly staff... This is quite traditional quality of Sofitrls all around the world and this one just confirming. Breakfast will satisfy any taste, you also has choice where to take your dinner. So, it is my traditional choice if I satay overnight in Heathrow
Very good reception service, the rest is not up to "take your troubles patiently".
Very nice environment, however very expensive and the bar got my order wrong
It's a great airport hotel with spacious rooms (and quite) and has two nice restaurants. The breakfast buffet is also good with different varieties
The hotel is incredibly convenient to terminal 5, but just about every other aspect was a disappointment. Our first room wasn't made up, food was badly overcooked and very expensive, staff were inattentive and rude. I would stay here again solely for the convenience, but if there was another option, I'd never return. The hotel facilities are quite nice though.
Great hotel very luxury. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The bed is amazingly comfortable the location makes it pefect
Dear sir and madam I stayed 1 night in your heathrow hotel form 12 Sep - 13-sep but they charge in credit card 2 times and I told the lady in the reception that you have charge in my credit card 2 times she told me they return the money back to your card but still until today I didn't not have my money
Very nice hotel, a little bit of a walk from terminal 5 but once there it's like an Oasis from the airport. Despite my room being adjacent to an airport entry road the room was virtually silent
Loved the bathroom and bathroom products. Great bathtub and separate shower. Also nice that it's close to an M&S. Make sure you allow time to get to your correct departure terminal though via Heathrow Express train.
It's very nice hotel but busy and far from the city centre
Only 3 devices for WiFi, that cannot even handle two people's phone and laptop. Not good. Great hotel tho!
It was very pleasant. The room was smallish, had a double bed, we were offered an upgrade BUT FOR 45 POUNDS, which seemed excessive on top of the already pricey room.
A very lovely place to stay. I'm only sorry I couldn't stay longer.
Disappointed this time round the Bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the Internet was very poor. Also included in our room was use of the Spa Facilities was asked twice to pay as it was not included. Staff had to check. In the spa was a 10 minute wait while the receptionist went to check.
Pleasant business meeting at the 'tea 5" bar. Had a medium coffee and a good smoothie. Food looked good. Staff was friendly, while not overly attentive. Will come back, when I have a meeting to plan at LHR T 5
It's a great place for an overnight stay before a flight but, for me, it falls between two stools - either the flight is very early so you are not in the hotel long enough to make best use of the facilities or the flight is late in which More
Great location by the airport
very handy.
If you are looking for a place to spend the night before a long onward flight this is it.
The room was set up for wheelchair use. The light switches were hard to find: all in one
very small panel on the wall and waist high. The bathroom was inconveniently laid out
and it was difficult to use.
A nice luxury hotel in London's Heathrow Airport... Highly recommended if you want somewhere to crash and enjoy a bit of English food culture without having to leave your airport or hotel! Easy train ride to downtown London as well... Tea was excellent and authentic!
We love this hotel. Fabulous service and environment. The zen garden is amazing. What a great way to start a holiday.
Very pleasant staff, wonderful location for travel & beautiful design throughout. Late night room service is a huge plus for late flights. The free WiFi leaves something to be desired, though.
