Friendly staff and great access to terminal 5. Nice spacious rooms and an airy feeling to the hotel in general. Reception area gets very busy so allow enough time to checkout if travelling onwards to the airport.

After the trek through from the train station, we were greeted cordially by a staff member who booked us in. No upgraded or welcome drink were offered, but I had booked an executive room so we went to the lounge. This was very nice and staff friendly. Room was nice and clean and ok for overnight, but could hear corridor noise.
Great way to start a holiday, reasonable prices, clean spacious rooms and the best location for heathrow T5. The restaurant was just as handy and food was defent
It's an airport hotel connected to Terminal 5. Has two restaurants and two bars. Had breakfast in the restaurant every day and it was good. Rooms have a refrigerator. Typical small European rooms. You can connect from other terminals via the free train. Plan plenty of time and lots of walking if you are coming from or going to terminal 2. Even with riding the train, my activity tracker said I walked two miles to get from the hotel to my United gate. Good thing I allowed extra time.
Was a nice room - felt the place must be new as it was poorly directed in terms of signage to and from the room to lobby and there was no indication for example of the fact you needed to put a room card in to use the lift etc. Don't try and order room service as they don't answer.
Amazing visit. Breakfast fantastic staff is great and helpful. It's a little far from town but well worth it. The underground is right there you can be there 30 to 40 minutes.
This location definitely did not deserve the brand "Sofitel" in my opinion. Apart from a still reasonably nice check-in, nothing fits here, but nothing at all. Who gave 5 stars here? Incredibly poorly run hotel. Pity!
Firstly, there was a booking error with your booking agent which was rectified immediately by Sofitel management. Secondly, the room and the service during my stay were impeccable. It is obvious that you stress the importance of customer service and attentiveness, as it is well-reflected by all sectors of your staff. I will highly recommend your hotel to my friends and family.
Friendly staff, nice clean room. The only down side for us was that phone reception in the room was terrible. That's obviously not something that is the hotel's fault, more just a result of the construction.
Sofitel LHR is perfect for resting on arrival and before departure from Heathrow airport. Connected directly to Terminal 5 with free train to the other terminals, it is a much better option than the hour plus journey into London if you arrive late into Heathrow. It is also much more relaxing to leave your hotel and be checking in 5 minutes later (BA) or 20 minutes for other airlines. The hotel is sleek. modern, well appointed with big rooms, modern bathrooms and comfy beds. This was my third stay here and it doesn't disappoint. And in London terms it is great value for money.
Very convenient and comfortable. We were stuck in Heathrow airport one night and stayed there. The dinner, the room and breakfast was superb! Location is un beatable, just across Terminal 5 via a closed bridge.
Great location for who is traveling from terminal 5 and very comfortable stay. Lovely spacious room convenient hotel at Terminal 5. Highly recommend. It s the most favorite non-resort, hotel for business travel or for rest and cash your More
Beyond it's convenience to T5, and the friendly staff, this hotel is a miss for the Soffitel brand. I am sure the decor was great in 1985, but this place is in serious need of a remodel. The main restaurant has worn seats and feels cheap. I paid for club access, and then found out it closes at 730PM (I arrived at 6PM). For the money, you would be better off at a standard hotel.
Handy location for a conference but needs a "convenience" store as nothing is nearby. They have plenty of space for a gift shop but guarantee a store would bring more profit! (From an accountant)
I just love every visit I have to Sofitel Heathrow. This is now my sixth stay at Sofitel Heathrow and every stay has been outstanding. Comfortable beds, wonderful amenities and such a stylish hotel. My favourite hotel in the world!
Excellent place to stay before your journey begins, great quiet Rooms, delicious meals in restaurant, and very convenient to the terminal for your travel
This hotel is just in the Heathrow Terminal 5. We slept here cause our flight was cancel. The hotel is definitely a five stars hotel. You have tv on the bath, tv with pc interfaces in the wall, the best bed I've ever slept and very relaxing and comfortable seats.
I am the last to arrive, the hotel occupancy rate is 95%. In addition, the service is great, the staff is very concerned about the customer, and the customer's needs are very careful. There is a lot of breakfast and the buffet dinner is great. I like the gym very much. This is one of the best gyms I have ever seen in a hotel. It is very large, with complete electronic fitness equipment, courses and good staff. I have not done a spa. The room is spacious and comfortable, I will definitely come again.
Excellent room and a good nights sleep. A very nice breakfast to start the day accompanied by very pleasant helpful, friendly staff to make our stay perfect. The best airport hotel we have stayed in and will continue to do so.
Check-in and booking car parking was good; receptionist tried to work out the best deal for parking. The suite should have given access to the club room but did not; the receptionist promptly dealt with this.
Collecting the car was no problem although the exit from the car park could be more clearly signposted. our chosen barrier did not work but a member of staff who fortunately was present helped us with the problem.
Attended a wedding here but had a chance to explore the bar area and take a walk around the hotel. Staff were very attentive in the bar. Smiles all round and even at one point I needed a taxi and the team organised this very quickly even though I wasn't actually staying in the hotel. The hotel is very modern in its design and will definitely consider this hotel if I am in the area.
Advised we had been upgraded. Room had no view except to the rear of Sixt rent a car. Curtains had to be permanently drawn and the noise from people's heels walks from the escapers to the terminal was continuous. This s surely wasn't an upgrade as if it was how bad are the other rooms.
10th stay over past few years but will now reconsider Hilton.
Lovely hotel. Have stayed before both at this hotel and the hotel in Gatwick. The only thing that I would criticise is the menu in the restaurant is very Asian orrienated.
Check in took far longer than should have done as they didn't have my reservation in the system.
Had to get dressed and go to reception to order room service as my in-room phone wasn't working, they still insisted on charging the full service charge for the room service (bit insulting).
Had been told the wrong finish time for breakfast and nearly missed it.
Amazing experience here, went for afternoon tea and spa, staff the tea where friendly and more than accomodating. Spa was fantastic and staff very friendly
I showed up with a reservation, but only my carry-on bags, after 5 weeks away, on a layover home to New York! Do I need to say that I was completely ill-rested and probably did not appear to be my best? I was given a toothbrush kit, and a gorgeous room with the promise of breakfast the next morning. So, I slept like a baby, showered like a grownup, and felt like a new person.
Ignatius quickly read me perfectly at check-in and made sure that I had everything I needed before I headed to my room. I can't say enough good things about that man! He really turned around my entire trip for me by helping me shift my mood that night. People with amazing soft skills like that deserve recognition.
Extremely comfortable room. Very quiet for an airport hotel and convenient for Terminal 5. Had a great nights sleep. The only downside was the shower door did not close properly which was an irritation.
Stayed at the Sofitel Hotel prior to an early flight from Terminal 5. The rooms are so quiet you would not know that you are only 10 minutes walk from the Terminal. The hotel is adjoined to the Hotel by a corridor.
The staff that I met were all so friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble for them. When I checked in the Receptionist asked if I was in (or wanted to join their loyalty programme). The service in the bar was quick and efficient. I cannot comment on the food in the restaurants as I had my meal in the Terminal and I left before breakfast was started.
Will be back at the Sofitel when next flying from Terminal 5.
My room was quite cozy! However my meals ordered through room service were quite disappointing. Great customer service though! Plus of course it's a great stop over for long flight layovers.
I have been to many afternoon tea venues in Surrey and London.
I booked afternoon tea here for my mother in law's birthday a week ago. However, we will not return.
Good points: - The staff member Clive was very friendly and helpful!
Not so good points: - Expensive car park even with discount. - The cakes were from frozen. The waiter confirmed this. - Sandwiches are not unlimited. A lot of restaurants in Surrey and London offer this - Some sandwiches were hard (mending old or left out in the open). - Not a great choice for people who suffer food allergies (restaurant was informed beforehand).
I loved this hotel ! Super convenient when you flying out terminal 5. You walk like 3 minutes basically to get into the reception area. We treat ourself with the spa massage and pool area and let me say Sarah was absolutely amazing! She gave me superB massage with nice pressure. We will deffo be back when we flying long haul again! Than you to the receptionist too for complementary upgrade of rooms.
Very pleasant. No ice bucket tongs though which totally ruined it . Very nice place, as we were there only overnight leaving super early we front use any of the other elements on offer like the gym etc. Can't fault it if you are leaving from Terminal 5 though, that's a really easy stroll through with no stress over coaches or parking.
Dropped off at Heathrow Sofitel Hotel on numerous occasions and customers always happy, smart staff came out and helped with luggage... Very good reputation.
Good location with only a short walk to the terminal. However, the BA bag drop facility at reception has now closed down.
The room had some presents left by previous occupants such as a chocolate on the floor and contact lens in the bathroom. However, apart from that the room was OK and certainly was quiet.
The restaurant was poor and bar no good either. Quality of food in the restaurant is on a par with Wetherspoons and service in the bar was non existent. Very poor value for money.
