rooms are very small and cramped, avoid room no ending with digit 20,for example 1120 dis room are shittest, since dey have 20 typical room of those kinds,
Room was well sized and bed was comfy. No complaints
Kylie Stephens at the Piano Bar is a fantastic way to start the weekend. Great voice and great tunes!
Nice hotel with well mannered staff. Appreciate the service.
Loved this place so much I come back again and again. Highly recommended if you want a good night sleep, or an escape from bustle of Sydney or if you want a romantic night out!
Hate this hotel. As a cabin crew all we want from layover hotel is rest ... but they always give me the room which is just next to the life . I cannot sleep day and night cause of noise ... OMG really hate them .
Comfortable rooms, centrally located with a bit of hisyory
Our stay was brilliant, it was for our anniversary and all the staff were fantastic, we had booked for 3 nights with the last night being in a Suite, Louise on check in noticed this, and upgraded our room for the entire stay. Thank you Louise
Location is great and the hotel is lovely. We found the room to be quite hit and dry.
I didn't stay there, I had one drink and used the bathroom.
Good posh hotel in CBD/Downtown. Gym is good. most of the things in sydney for tourists walking distance.
Great inner city hotel with a quirky heritage design and lots of character. This older gore has been nicely renovated and the foyer and restaurant have a nice feeling of understated opulence.
The rooms are great - well maintained and nicely decorated. They are smaller that modern hotels but this was not a problem for my stay and the quality compensates for any lack of size.
The Wentworth is very well located , close to the Botanic Gardens, NSW Library and only a short walk to the Art Gallery. The city center is at the doorstep and great cafes and restaurants are close by.
I ve been staying at the hotel for the past few days. The first night, the internet didn t connect. And then the TV kept losing channels I had to ring twice to get someone to look at it. Last night, all I could hear was the elevator, all night - seriously badly placed room.
Tonight again, the TV doesn't work properly. The elevator is as equally loud. The hotel is advertised as 5 star, but it's not even close to 4.
Freindly and courteous staff comfortable room, would have given 5 but had a little sloppy house keeping a few times, but a good stay nonetheless.
Great location, bathroom pq but great shower, soft bed
Lovely 5 star hotel. Great for the conference and lovely food over the 3 days and at the gala dinner. Just wish their 4 elevators could be faster!!
Easy parking valet service Dropped off car and pickup no problem
I love this place. The service, the people, the experience is first class. In the heart of the city it's a stones throw away from the everything you need.
Attended 2 day Marketing conference at the Sofitel Wentworth hotel located in Sydney CBD. Clean and comfortable though with some minor renovations required...a good venue that could be great with some investment. Good unobtrusive service.
I was greeted very warmly and this warmth remained during my overnight stay. Overall service was fantastic. I really didn't need to leave the hotel as it had all the conveniences I needed and more.
Great location for CBD parking at a reasonable rate.
The Sofitel venue was spectacular. The catering had excellent service and were very kind. Really enjoyed my time.
It's okay but not great. They've spent their money on the lobby. Once you get to your floor it smells like monkeys in the hallway and the rooms are tiny. We got just one duvet and no blanket or sheets, the bed was hard and lumpy in the middle which was weird. Only got like 3 coat-hangars and took multiple requests to get more. Shoddy old kettle and tiny cups. The TV was dodgy, and the remote wouldn't turn it on. The bathroom was scary, cracked tiles, moldy and dirty grout, very tiny shower, a glass shower screen that would swing around if touched, and the safety handle swiveled around and seemed unsafe. Air con was very noisy and of course the windows don't open. I put out the ironing board and luggage holder thing to use as tables because there was no space, but the housekeeping kept putting it away, which means they reorganised my clothes in the cupboard. They also kept rearranging our personal belongings, like toiletries, which is a bit creepy. Pretentious staff say 'bonjour' every time you walk through the lobby, if staying for more than a few days it kinda gets annoying. OK I know you're chinese, stop being french. They also took a half used toilet paper roll which was perfectly fine, replaced it with the spare TP roll, and then did not replace the spare - what do they do with the half used roll? Worst thing was the toilet though, it is really high up and a strange shape so your backside won't cooperate - a good tip is to go in the lobby toilets they're much better, modern decor, and well stocked with TP, tissues, and paper towel. Good location though, most of Sydney is at your doorstep, lots of fast food and convenience stores - you'll need that because Sofitel charge almost $40 for a bowl of cereal. Ample lighting and power points. No birthday surprise for me like that other review :(
The Sofitel Wentworth is a great hotel. It's in a convenient location, the rooms are nice, and the staff are helpful and friendly. We really like the executive lounge. I always stay here when I'm in Sydney.
A luxurious looking hotel with great interiors and a nice bar downstairs.
Beautiful place to stay, staff are very helpful and close to the city and attractions.
Sofitel hotel had really approachable staff and was extremely generous with its catering and food services. We went for the Enactus Australia competition and they were so supportive with us in every aspect. Shout out to Kim who was a waiter and was extremely friendly on the last day of the competition. Overall sofitel lived up to its reputation and I will definitely go there again.
Amazing service, excellent facilities and very helpful staff.
Great rooms. Try and get the corner ones if you want more quieter ones. I stayed there a lot for work. Central location and great breakfast
We stayed for a week during the Easter, room was so small with old furniture, wasn t cleaned and they were painting the floor while we were there, only positive was nice staff
Hotel with great location to Opera and Harbour around 15min walk aswell as King street approxinately 5min walk.Very elegant hotel with abig rooms and well equipt.Hotel.has really good gym witt pylates and yoga classes
Well presented room with complimentary chocolates and water, cousin managed to get free upgrade.
Exceptional service and location. Restaurant was similarly excellent. Any requests and alterations were able to be met. All with a smile
Had a great experience staying at this hotel, the beds alone are worth staying here. The staff were very friendly and courteous, and it is very well located.
Poor service for a Sofitel - dirty room. I asked for cleanliness twice or three times and, finaly, had to do it by myself. Also, charged Accor "Loyalty" Program points three times (2,000 each) after checkout with no permission and couldn't send the complete invoice that I asked for - not even for checking. Just said that it were for my outlays. Accor suport didn't fix it after a month of tiring attempts!
Lovely hotel, most of the food was very nice, their conference wifi had trouble dealing with the number of people we had however (80+)
Really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the ease of facilities to use
Headed up to the piano bar on level 5 and had a great night. The new Friday / Saturday artist is just mind lowing!
A lovely hotel and excellent check in. Only disappointment was the delay (about 45 minutes) getting car out of garage to go out to dinner - others had been waiting one hour and everyone was very frustrated.
Also the garage charges a full day extra if you go over the 24 hour parking.
The parking cost is prohibitive and the hotel should look at taking back control and giving patrons a more reasonable deal. The service in the bar was VERY por and I had to go to the counter and order drinks and then when they came I had to request nuts which on previous visits came automatically.
Beautiful experience, great breakfast, but get in early, otherwise if you ask for freshly made coffee you could end up waiting half an hour for it, like we did the first morning. Room service and the Concierge are both excellent. So central to the CBD. $15 by uber to the Hay markets, that was for 3 people so still cheap $5 each. Will stay again.
The hotel is located at central of Sydney, very convenient and luxury!
Only one disappointment was the restaurant is now closed on a Sunday night
We are here for 14 days quarantine accomodation. As it was a big chain brand and we expected higher.Meals they providing to quarantine guest is horrible. The only good thing is they apologize quickly but its word only action never happens. Not following up dietary requirements and hotel policy was there was only one time we can order meal from outside, my question is if you cannot even cook and serve proper meal then why we can't buy food from outside. Chef doesn't know which rice grain to be used in risotto , if someone says no red meat then should be excluded also they forgot our dinner for 2 night. If you are not ready to serve
Then don't take contract. Please don't treat people as we are here by our choices.
Great location, great service. Room was smallish but clean and reasonably quiet. We had breakfast included and it was a typical buffet style breakfast. Lots of choice and again good service.
Generally helpful and friendly except the for an after show drink in the Soiree Bar I had to wait some time to be served in fact I went up to the waiter to request service and then it was slow. The bar was not busy. This took the shine off what was a lovely stay. Room service was very good.
Great piano bar on Friday and Saturday night. Kylie rocks!
Tv wasn't working, alarm was set by previous guest that wasn't cleared. Toilet and bathroom was average
Location, service and the Club Sofitel facilities were brilliant. Loved this hotel.
Room was perfect. We arrived after our wedding and we're greeted with a friendly congratulations. We ordered room service at around 1am, the burger was one of the best I have had.
On checkout we were told we would have to pay for the complimentary champagne and breakfast. Thankfully they fixed their mistake after consulting with a manager. Can't fault the hotel otherwise
It was ok, our drinks order was taken at 1145pm and as we were a group of 6 they said they were unable to make all our drinks before midnight as we had ordered cocktails...
I only used the conference room. The area was spacious and clean. The restrooms were clean as well. I did not actually use any of the services so I cannot comment on that.
Breakfast just ordinary for such an expensive hotel
Conference room is big and canapes are really good.
Good hotel, nice club attentive and friendly staff.
Staff were extraordinarily helpful and made my stay extra special.
Came here for Kerwin Rae's seminar and the venue is fantastic. The snacks and drinks are great too.
