Just stayed over the weekend and overall experience is a let down.
This hotel standard is more like of Novotel or Grand Mercure as some amenities are clearly outdated. The gym didn't open that weekend and most staff were mostly not genuinely helpful. I have the impression this hotel is desperately trying to cut cost as I didn't get any newspaper at all. There is much more value in other truly 5 star establishments such as Langham, Intercontinental or Shangri-La.

Loved it, didn't want to leave. My standards a high, I worked in the Beverly Hills hotel for 5 years and other 5 star hotels in Los Angeles. This hotel is comparable to any hotel I have worked at, but the staff are what stood out more than anything. Professional, accommodating, friendly with 5 star attitudes. Can't wait to go back!! Whoever is hiring & training staff is doing an exceptional job.

Lovely hotel, excellent service and delicious breakfast. The lack of a pool was surprising though

Had light dinner at the cafe downstairs. Food was really good and desserts were awesome!

We always encounter a friendly smile and "welcome" at Reception and after this easy check in process, we enjoyed our very well appointed and comfortable room. The lounge was well stocked and we relaxed with a drink and light snack, had a walk in the nearby Royal Botanical Gardens and then just "chilled" for the rest of the evening. After an excellent sleep and hearty breakfast, again served by attentive, cheerful wait staff we were well set up for the day of travel ahead as we returned home to Queensland. When we are next in Sydney, we will be back to this hotel. The perfect stay!

Stayed here for my 2-weeks international COVID quarantine (mid April).
Delightful staff and their services were excellent! Food seemed to be much better compared to the other hotels! Getting 'locked' up for 2 weeks wasn't fun for sure but really appreciate how they tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Love the entertainment, both the live bands and the daily activity sheet!

Will definitely choose you guys again once everything eases up :)

Overrated and overpriced. Lifts are sooo slow. Service appalling

The hotel is very convenient for transportation, shopping and eating. The staff is very polite, especially the welcome in the lobby.

Great hospitality. Exquisite evening meals. In a great location with key attractions and cultural heritage all with in comfortable walking distance.

Staff amazing, room lovely. For the life of me I couldn't get the heating to work. Unit was on and temp set at 28C but was warmer on the balcony. I slept in the fluffy bathrobe from the closet. Coming from Darwin I guess I felt it more than the average guest. Anyway I let staff on the front desk know following morning. Also just quietly the TV has a few fuzzy channels but it didn't bother me because I really wasn't watching TV. I'm not complaining honestly because my stay was only overnight and I really wasn't that bothered and truth be known it was nice to feel cold without air conditioner blasting as I am normally used to from living in the tropics.

Great accomodation and cheap weekend rates for parking

It was pleasant and was fine, however i had to call one week later to have my deposit refunded. which was not ideal

From the moment I checked in, it was a great experience. I would like to call out Alice (I think) who checked me - exemplary customer service!

Hotel was pretty good but if you come past 12 midnight it will be difficult to get parking. You cannot get vallet parking either coz the hotel security is no longer there. So I was told that if I enter and park the car I can only get out of the hotel next morning.

Clean and innoffensive hotel. Not so sure about the fake French from all the staff though...

Really friendly and helpful staff and extremely comfortable beds. Concierge went above and beyond to secure a taxi for us at a busy time.

Very well priced standard rooms, that were really nice and well kept & clean. Bathrooms were very nice and modern and Foxtel in the rooms was great too. Check in was friendly and quick and we got our rooms early before check in time and also got an extended check out which was well appreciated.

Excellent room and restaurant. Bar is great with live music. Would love to stay again.

Great experience, from initial check in to checkout! Concierge, bar staff, breakfast room staff were all very helpful & friendly to deal with. Hotel room - was everything u would expect in a 5 star establishment and the buffet breakfast was excellent.
Should have booked a few extra nights!!!

We went for dinner in the Garden bar restaurant, great service, we had the lamb and it was devine, very friendly and helpful staff, very nice setting, dinner enjoyed by all.

Helpful staff, comfortable king bed, good sized room. Had access to the elixir health club and some classes. Walking distance to circular quay and pitt street mall. But no pool :(

Put us in a room that someone had been smoking in . After complaining they asked us if we wanted done air freshener!!!. Then changed room to a disabled room!!. We moved a third time by which time our stay was ruined
