High tech hotel. Use remote to control over Aalmost everything.

I was impressed with their guest relations. My family and I felt so much at home. The breakfast was excellent, location ideal, rooms very comfortable and turn down service 5-star. Will certainly recommend this to friends and family. We stayed Aug. 17-20, 2017.

Amazing hotel, staff are exceptional and room is very comfortable. Bed and pillow are comfortable. They have other pillow types on request. Room make-up service was excellent. They offer complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Buffet breakfast is very comprehensive - congee, laksa, noodles, duck, BBQ pork ribs, bacon, eggs cooked as requested, pancakes, waffles, crepes, muffins, pastries, variety of bread, cereal, variety of fruit, mushrooms, tomato, salad, cheese, french toast and dumplings. Room is spacious, lots of storage space. Nice rain shower and good basic gym facilities with treadmill, elliptical, bike, free weights and a few weights machines. They provide pretty much all toiletries you require and rooms are very quiet. Curtain didn't close completely. Most things like lights and TV were operated via the iPad and iPhone. There was a phone in the toilet which was weird. The internet was a bit slow. Overall a great stay and I was sad to leave. I will visit again.

Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful birthday celebration for my husband. We loved our room, comfortable bed and spacious clean bathroom with bathtub. Room service w a prompt too. All Staffs were friendly, efficient and tried their best to make our stay so welcoming. We loved the food and Lebar and Cliff. Truly appreciated all staffs who had served us. We were delighted to receive cakes and balloons. Best of us we loved the peacock. Indeed it was such a memorable and awesome stay. We will certainly visit Sofitel again.God Bless and thank you

Good Stay. So Urban room didn't have enough space to move around although the king bed is really huge. I am not sure is this is the best room or hotel when traveling with kids.

Staff were amazing, could not have been more friendly and helpful. I loved how unique the hotel was - a refreshing change in decor from traditional hotels. Enjoyed the free in room snacks and drinks. Breakfast buffet was top quality. Rooftop pool/bar was spacious and relaxing. Highly recommend!

the staff (from reception counter, belt boy to restaurant, etc.) is very nice and professional. the interior design make me feels like living in French. the facilities and equipment are all nicely placed and functioned.

Located in Robinson road would rate So Sofitel a five star. Room that I stayed was of a decent size and had all the items needed. Ex bottled water, fridge, coffe maker, bath tub, study table, complimentary snacks etc
The breakfast served in the morning was also good
Hospitality of the staffs towards the guests are appreciable

Nice room with comfort bed and many choices of pillow that will bring you a deep sleep at night. The room is quite huge & big mini bar that served you a lot of free beverages, tea and lilly coffee. Moreover there are amenities that prepared for woman & gentleman seperately.

This is one of the better ones in Singapore. Spend a chunk of your disposable income on luxury for a night.

Hotel services are great, staffs are multinational, diversified, friendly and very helpful. Room is a bit small, but interior is cool, bed is comfortable so that we had nice sleeps. Lots of food around, Lau Pa Sat is across the street. Convenience store 7-11 is in the same building. MRT stations are about 5 minutes walking distance.

The location is excellent. So are the attitude of the staff in welcoming guests. A cozy place amongst the hustling crowd.

Some of the wood flooring suffered from heavy luggage. Makes it susceptible to picking up black marks and dirt trappings. Just avoid some parts of the room.

Maybe it is just because it is new and they didn't hire experienced staff, but this Sofitel has the worst service I have ever seen. Restaurant service is slow. Housekeeping is incompetent. The pool on the roof is not maintained for guests, but rather for the outdoor bar that is there in the evenings.

Stay clear of this hotel

This is an awesome hotel with fantastic service centrally located. Stayed here over NYE 2018/2019 and the great people of Sofitel SO made sure my wife and I got a superior experience.

Rooms are tastefully decorated and the hotel is "boutique" sized.

I would come back anytime.

We booked a double room, but all the cleaning supplies is just for one person, apart from this all good. You can choose the pillow in the counter, it s very nice service. I love mini bar here!! Adorable!!

Location was convenient and near to mrt station (Downtown) The room we got (So Urban), was wonderful and spacious. Amenities was great as well. We had free welcome drink as well. Breakfast spread was good. Overall a very good stay.

I like so-sofitel so much rather than sofitel sentosa.

My stay was terrible. I asked for a quite room and they assured me by email and when I checked in that I would be given a quite room. First thing in the morning until evening non stop load noise of works going on above room. Asked to speak to manager and did not appear until I was checking out and turned up when I said I was not going to pay until I could speak to the manager.
Singapore people are honest, but manager in this hotel in a lier and crook.
I also emailed Accor hotels about this. They did not even reply after two months of waiting. Disgraceful.

What really made my stay excellent was the way I was treated by Benjamin Penos, the concierge. He really excelled in the hospitality department, and I left feeling that I had made a friend on the other side of the world. I also liked the room, the hotel restaurant, the closeness to Marina Bay area which is truly "world class", and the super cool open air festival market which opens every night right next to the hotel. My wife and I loved eating Satay there - flame broiled meat on a stick (prangs, beef, chicken).

Good hotel, I stayed here for 18 nights. But no Indian food options, so not preferred for Indians

We were greeted by wonderfully friendly staff and they were very helpful.
The rooms were lovely exceptionally clean and comfortable.
The food and service at the roof top bar was also a very pleasant experience.
We would recommend the Hotel and would definitely come back again.

Lovely boutique hotel on the edge of China town, with the amazing Lau Pa Sat food market on the doorstep.

Friendly staff, clean rooms with lots of freebies. Swimming pool is a little dated. Breakfast was awesome with friendly staff. Right across a hawker with plenty of choices. The street right in front closes to traffic at night and turns into a hawker style food street.

Amazing hotel rooms loved that you could control everything in the room from the iPad. Staff were very attentive and helped us with any query including printing tickets. The range of snacks and drinks at the minibar was great. Used the pool and it wasn't busy so very chilled out, staff at the roof bar were fab.

Only thing I'd comment on was the curtain and door to bathroom didn't close completely so wasn't that private.

If I return to Singapore we would absolutely stay here again

Excellent accommodation in the heart of Singapore city

Our room was comfortable however details such as the regular top up of the mini bar and the toiletries was lacking. I have had to call 0 a number of times to have top ups and did not receive prompt responses.
Breakfasts were satisfactory. Dinner was satisfactory. Swimming pool bar was good.
Staff generally very helpful.

The first room we were placed in had a horrible smell like urine, the staff was good and relocated us however this new room had a serious ant problem

We found So Sofitel to be just an amazing boutique hotel. The rooms firstly were magnificent with several of our friends saying 'it looks like a palace'. Secondly staff were really nice going out of there way to ensure our enjoyment. Front desk, concierge, and restaurant are to be commended. Just wonderful.

Stylish and beautiful hotel in the historic post-office if Singapore. Very stylish rooms with iPad control, nice bathrooms and a very nice breakfast.

We particularly enjoy staying at Sofitel Hotels (from the other avaible choices in Accor group) but this one went far beyond our expectations. From the very kind and helpful people at the front desk to the very fast working bell boy and the ever-full of advices bartender (places to enjoy the Singapore night life) at the roof top bar... Along with the in room dining service.

Check in staff made us feel very welcome, room was beautiful and housekeeping staff were very prompt with our requests! Throughly enjoyed our stay. Valet parking was expensive though.

It was a great experience. I've also stayed in Sofitel Hotels in Brazil & Dubai and this one was right up there with the other two!

Lunch service at the Xperience was good, staff pleasant and prompt in meeting request. Used the private dining room with kitchen next to it, smell from the cooking was overwhelming affecting the wines we taste.

Not bad for a hotel. The location is good and the free minibar is sober.
It's comfortable that the atmosphere of the interior is fragile and you don't know how to turn off the information screen in the room.

The problem is the shower room. Even though it is a glass door that opens inside the shower room, it is very easy to be trapped because there is no handle inside. You can push the door, but it hits the toilet, so only a thin person can slip through it. You will have a hard time getting wet and naked. Please do your best and escape. (February 2016)

Surprisingly less corporate than I expected from a chain

Excellent experience. Staff were very friendly and professional. Room was very comfy. Location is superb. It will be the standard by which we will judge all other hotels :)

A great hotel option within the CBD. One of my favorite cafes in the city, called Hafudog, is on the ground floor, but is not directly connected to the hotel itself. If you are looking for a gourmet hotdog in Singapore, I cannot think of a better place than Hafudog.

They have a nice lounge in the first floor. You can have coffee/tea with nice desserts.

Conveniently located for a business traveler this is a chic yet cozy hotel. Excellent service - the staff went an extra mole to get my suit pressed when I had little time - turned around in three hours!

The "Urban" room has an "aquarium" bathroom opening into the bedroom space. From every point the design is very pleasing, so that bathroom visibility expands the visually interesting space, and does not clutter the perception. If it bothers you, pull the curtain over the glass bathroom wall. The toilet is in it's own room so that is not an issue either. The bathroom is very spacious and has both a roomy shower with a rain showerhead and a deep soaking tub - perfect for couples with differing tastes.

The desk is well positioned by the window. Easy to access utility and USB power outlets are above and to the side of the desk, so that cables do not clutter the surface. Rotunda ceiling light above the bed is a genius solution.

The free portion of the bar is just OK, but there is an excellent choice of teas and a French Press for coffee (grounds provided). A horizontal in-drawer safe is in the same closet, very nice for storing a laptop. The way it is positioned makes it much simpler to see what is inside.

Great choice of shoe-care, including shoe-trees - a nice uncommon touch. Also uncommon is that you get a space for an iron board with a convenient outlet.

A couple minor issues, like wires popping from the iron cord, the very squeaky coat closet doors, and wooden floor scratched by the chair without coasters do not spoil the overall pleasant experience.

A nice hotel with a modern design.
There is a hawker within walking distance, there are also good restaurants and bars, and the location is great.
The tea is provided by TWG's yellow label (which is black for cheap people) and espresso machine.

Great service and good food choice. Room is small but very cozy and comfortable. Though i do hope there is a mobile desk can be used when sit on the edge of bed.

We loved this hotel from the moment we stepped inside. Staff were fabulous, the room was beautiful and every little thing had been thought of to make sure our stay was just perfect. This is no nameless, faceless high rise, it is a boutique hotel with soul, both in its fabulous furnishing, quirky touches and attentive, warm and friendly staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Definitely one of the most beautifully designed hotels we have been to. From the moment you walk into the glamorous foyer you are instantly welcomed by the most amazing staff. Our So Cosy room was immaculately furnished and the bed sheets were the highlight!

We were looked after excellently by all staff whilst staying at the Singapore So. The friendliness of the staff made our group feel at home. Facilities were great and position to access all Singapore can offer was supurb.
