Sofitel the palm dubai, is a great vacation hotel. It has a very great view when it comes to sourroundings.

We were family of three and enjoyed our stayed here even if it was after months of lockdown.

It was a difficulty staying in hotels due to the pandemic but still most of Sofitel s staffs are doing their best to provide great customer experience.

Special thanks to Mr. Rio from reception crew who accomodated us and helped us for our issues. Also thanks to Mr. Wilbert and Ms. Lucia from the restaurant who took care of us with our nice breakfast.

Overall, we would recommend this place!

Visited this property for several times, and I have to admit this is really worth coming back for. Especially that they have this great offer in all of their dining outlet.. What made us wow was the Porterhouse Steaks and Grills which offers the most sumptuous dining experience you can ever have in Dubai in a most affordable price, plus the great service you get from each single staff whom you can see are fervently working in their profession..

Staff and service 5* but imo overcrowded on the weekend considering we're in the middle of pandemic.

Staying here for the second time - this hotel is a real treasure. The hotel and its grounds are stunning, clean and well kept. Staff are incredibly friendly, always welcoming and helpful. There is an amazing choice of restaurants on the ground. Buffet restaurant Manava offers a big variety at breakfast time and at dinner time has several theme nights during the week. Particularly the giant French toast and the Aloo Gobi are absolutely delicious!!
Stayed in a classic room, also decorated in Polynesian style, with a very comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom and a balcony.
Dubai Mall can be easily reached by cab and there are free shuttle busses to Mall of the Emirates and Nakheel Mall.

Second visit and again not disappointed. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment this time. Very large 75 square meters room/apartment with a well thought out floor plan and high end appliances in the kitchen.
The humongous free standing bath tub is a real wow factor.
Swimming pools like always a special treat. Since our first visit there was two important changes:
- No more free ice cold bottled
water available at the pool.
- The pavilions next to the pool and on the beach is not free any more and needs a hefty payment.

This hotel is pure luxury, me my partner and one year old went in feb 2018 it was amazing, the cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding and the staff were so helpful they couldn t have done enough, the choice of different restaurants is really good and the facilities are great, we hired a car while we were here and the staff at the entrance couldn t have been quicker bringing out to us soon as we came out the hotel, everything was amazing, so good we are returning in September

Beautiful hotel with incredibly friendly staff! Delicious, varied food! Nice, spacious rooms with excellent cleaning. We would like to take this opportunity to thank PHANI, who cleaned and equipped our room daily to our utmost satisfaction !!!! Not only in the morning, but on request also in the late afternoon or early evening.

So cute. But if you are looking for relaxation as a couple, it is not the ideal place. It is very familiar!

My stay at this Sofitel deserves way above 5 stars! From the moment we stepped foot into the lobby, we were greeted with the warmest welcome. It was hands down the smoothest check in ever! Our room was ready ahead of time and the receptionist was able to cater to our special requests without hesitation. We were briefed on everything offered at the hotel like food options, spa location, pool/beach, kids club, and more. They even gave us a late check out which was so amazing because my family and I were able to enjoy the pool on the last day and still have time to shower in the comfort of our room. Our room was amazing, super clean, and comfy! The hotel is a total vibe and it's very big so you definitely won't get bored during your stay. It's location gives you views of the most gorgeous sunsets. We will most definitely be returning here because it's a guaranteed perfect stay with spectacular service (and my kids are already begging us to go back!)

One of the most amazing resorts that you can stay in in Dubai, romantic and family, relaxation, luxury, sophistication, wonderful services, I highly recommend it, the wedding anniversary has been celebrated and the reservation has been upgraded from the hotel from room to suite

Stay here. We experienced a great holiday, mainly thanks to the luxury of the hotel and the friendliness of the hotel staff who are some of the best we have ever had the luck of meeting.

Superb beach, location, weather, people, sea is lovely and warm. Wonderful. Just go and enjoy it.

Very nice hotel with a nice big room for the family. I loved the food here especially the desserts for dinner. The waiters were very friendly especially Chetan.

It is a fantastic hotel and apartments with superb service. From arrival, check in to restaurant superb service by Sandip, sufiyan, Chef Jomo at world eatery and all the staff from house keeping to restaurants to bar at the beachside to the pool area all the places fantastic service will surely recommend to all. We are staying at the apartment 9505 and 9507. Very child friendly place. Will surely come again.

Overbooked their capacity with half staff. Worst check in, room was late for check in, couldn't find a place to sit at the pool until 5 30 pm, pool wasn't cold, breakfast took 1.5 hours. Don't visit until they're back at normal operation level of mid week.

I only used the spa here and it was excellent 5 star treatment all the way I would 100 percent recommend having a treatment
I had a full body massage and 1 hour facial

Have just booked to visit the hotel. Hope I will get a great time there

Very nice, modern hotel directly on the artificial palm. Room is spacious with a spacious balcony. The hotel staff is very accommodating and very friendly. The outdoor area with pool and access to the beach is also great. Price / performance for the room was great, but everything on top for food and drinks is rather priced.

Excellent hotel and location. Great hospitality and world certainly recommend a stay at this place.

We have been to Dubai 10 times including 7 times we have stayed at the Sofitel The PAM Dubai as much to tell you how much we love this establishment.
Staff always welcoming, friendly, courteous and attentive to each of our visits.
Our last stay, still with family, dates from April 23 to May 7, 2018 That is 14 Fabulous days, sincere thanks to Mr. Lahcen Saadaoui who showed listening, benevolence and kindness: he allowed us to extend our stay without no difficulty while maintaining our suite.
Thanks also to Sarah: available, smiling and always ready to satisfy her customers.
Excellent hotel, quality service, clean, pleasant, quiet establishment, spacious suite, good bedding, beautiful view of the beach.
Very well equipped beach thank you very much to Thomas and especially Mayavelu for their kindness, professionalism, they took such good care of us, thank you again.
The valets are always smiling and that's very nice.
The buffet is very varied every day, yet we are a member of the vintage club and each time we go to the Le Mavlana buffet restaurant because it does not have everything we want for both adults and children.
We have three children aged 9, 4 and a small infant of 3 months.
Family hotel you will find everything for your children: Swimming pool, paddling pool, playground, glacier, small supermarket.
We will be going back in October 2018 for the 8th time With our parents.
I recommend 100% !!!

The hotel is absolutely great!
the structure is wonderful, clean and well maintained. It's not incredibly huge (as the Atlantis, for example), but this makes it perfect for families.
The staff is friendly and supportive but never invasive (also lifeguards in the pools are very alert.
The hotel also organizes shuttles to reach the main Dubai touristic locations: Atlantis, Dubai/Emirates malls, Dubai Parks. Very convenient and lets you save some money.
The only negative thing to consider is food prices: be very careful when you order anything, especially outside, near the swimming pools, we spent 100 for one salad and two burgers...
On the other end, the Porterhouse is a great restaurant: expensive, but food quality is definitely very very high! worth a visit.
Net-net, I would suggest the hotel to everybody: great experience!

This hotel is beyond praise !!! I have been in all sorts of good hotels, excellent, but this one ... there are no words of delight. We lived in a tropical forest, access to the forest from the room, straight to the sea, birds walk at our feet. I'm speachless .... me and my parents. I recommend everyone! We lived in a Beach sutes Tiara room, two-room.

A spectacular resort with a wide range of services and facilities

Lovely hotel, great kids club and pools. Rooms are amazing as are the views.
Unfortunately not many vegetarian options on the menus and is a real remote location to get to anywhere. Lovely for a retreat but not so great if you want to sight see and do things in Dubai.

One of the best breakfast buffets I ever tried not just in Dubai but in many other hotels around the world... amazing experience I would like to recommended to everyone to try...plus the beautiful views on the sea.. from restaurant...

We stayed in a king room with sea view and it was absolutely stunning. As we walked through the door, our mouths dropped. The rooms were spacious, prestine, beautiful view from our balcony. The shutter doors in the bathroom/bedroom were great, romantic and you could tell there was a lot of thought put into the rooms. The seperate wash basins were also great touch. The tv channels can be changed from arabic to english which was also key for us.
As we went during Ramadan, we foundthe hotel very accommodating. Although all the restaurants were not open we still had good options of choice. The seafood restaurant Moana was absolutely beautiful. My husband and i had a romantic meal outside. Food was delicious. Manava restaurant had a great range of breakfast food including both full english and cultural food.

They had a great shuttle service to dubai mall, atlantis the palm and mall of emirates which we took advantage of. The concierge even gave us a tour of one of their 2 bedroom apartments as we are looking to bring our childten next time.

All in all a beautiful hotel, great location. Lots to offer for both adults and children, especially as there is a waterpark next door where u can interact with dolphins. I would recommend tgis hotel to anyone and im looking to return with my children very soon

Awesome Hotel. Everything is great about it, I was offered a room with luxury sea view which was amazing. Loved both the room and the view. Comfartable bed, good room service, great buffet food and friendly staff. I liked how the buffet is organized in a very clean and safe way for both staff and customers.

I asked for a late check out so that I can pray before leaving the hotel and they have extended the time for me without charging anything and that was great.

Now for the downside, the room was really hot and I have asked the room service to send someone to check it for me. They came to check it 3 times, telling me to wait and that they'll monitor it from their end, but still no use. I stayed in the hotel for 2 days and the AC was still hot until my check out time. Given that we're in the middle of the summer, weather is already too hot outside which makes the room hot as well. I had to stay in the room with a temperature of 23-23.5 Celsius.

This honestly isn't something be expected from a 5 star hotel, in Dubai on top of that. I have booked in Sofitel the palm because of their rating of 9/10 in Booking.com. Therefore I didn't even expect to experience such an issue during my stay and for the whole period as well. I had to deal with the temperature until I left the hotel which was extremely uncomfortable. My rating on a scale of 10 would be 6/10.

Another aspect is that I understand that the hotel was closed for quite some time during to COVID-19. But I don't understand why rooms are still dusty after opening the hotel for a while. Using the wardrobe hangers made my black Abayas all dusty and it wasn't easy to get it off. Also, I did see a spider in the bedroom and a spider net in the bathroom. I think that rooms need to be cleaned as well not only sanitized.

Some issues might be too small but for a 9/10 rated hotel they could really be bad. So I suggest that you guys pay more attention to those details.

I experienced the best hotel, amazing view. Approachable staff. Delicious food.

A good hotel, however the washing machine in our room is broken and despise various work from hotel staff, it's still not working and render all our laundry wet and dirty. In the end the hotel laundry dried all laundry for us but our schedule are severely affected by this. The staff are friendly try to be helpful but the in room equipments really need some serious checkup!

Absolute dream hotel and super courteous staff. Everything is just right here! We'll definitely be back
