Sofitel Palm Resort Reviews

I guess I had placed very high expectations on Sofitel, food was good, had lots of variety but I was looking for something very delicious, I didn't get that experience.. Deserts were awesome

Hospitality and impeccable service. Nice room with very comfortable bedding. The hotel is well located on the Palm Jumeirah with its beautiful private beach. Even though taxis are available, it is better to have your own car. The club Millesime is of a high quality.

Amazing stay; especially well looked after by Babu and Habib who kept our room immaculate! Thank you to both of you.

Good. Value for money I would like better for the money. There was no hairdryer in the room until they turned to the reception desk, there was also no dental care accessories .. a trifle, but unpleasant ...

We are grateful for a fantastic holiday, where everything was right from the beginning to the end. We loved the whole place - great pool, great beach, fantastic food, super nice and big rooms, great room service and the staff always smiling on the face.
We will definitely come back :-)

It was amazing! We were booked in Prestige Suite that comes with the VIP Lounge access, and the lounge is so much worth it! The room is so huge and lovely. All the hotel staff from the lobby, reception and pool & beach sides are so nice and helpful. My boyfriend even received boxes of chocolates as birthday present from Sofitel. We will surely go back there!

Super nice hotel very well kept meals cleanliness no complaints. BUT AFTER 10 THE WATER BOTTLE PEPSI 8, THE WATER FOUNTAINS OUTSIDE WAS ALSO HOT THAT THE WATER OF THE SEA IS ABUSE.

Absolutely cannot fault our stay from the minute we stepped out of the car upon arrival we were made to feel so welcome and we were treat like royalty. We received a complimentary upgrade with flowers and chocolates as we were celebrating our anniversary and this was a very pleasant surprise when we arrived at 1am after a very tiresome journey ! The hotel it's self was beautiful both inside and out and despite staying during the month of Ramadan there was absolutely no issues that affected our stay as some people had warned when you stay during this time. The room itself was very clean and well equipped and the service was phenomenal, nothing was too much ! The shuttle bus to the Malls was very handy and saved us a small fortune in taxi fares, we used this daily to get out and about allowing us to access the metro system from the malls Etc. The pool and beach facilities were excellent, as were the bars and restaurants on site. I Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to travel to Dubai and will defininately be returning soon !!

By cons avoid going to see the person in charge of car rental!
This person has nothing to do in this luxury hotel!

The staff is friendly overall, food is a total disapointment considering Sofitel is a 5 star resort, you should really work on the food quality and the dishes you offer. I felt like I was in fast food most of the time eating.
Also the towels on the beach/pool are old and washed up, should really change them.
App and the bathroom is very nice, also the hotel and sorrounding is very well maintained.

In family for 7 days of relaxation, we were filled by the services and the service of this hotel. The staff is always in touch with these guests, whether at the bar, restaurant, beach, in the rooms or at the reception.
Only small downside, extra small (meals on the beach for example) pizzas salads and expensive drinks. Ice cream for children at 40 dirhams (10 euros) the ball.
The hotel benefits from its location as there is nothing around.

Expected much more for the money. For all the money and tear up just a really big. Number on 4ku, you want better pay extra. Food for 4ku. I went through the system breakfast dinner duck for dinner for any liquid pays extra. Even for water 600rub !!! Sheets are full of holes. The bar was just blocked from reception on the 2nd evening. I haven t yet explained that I ve put my water in there. In general, for 2 people I gave 180 thousand rubles. For 6 days. Not worth this hotel that kind of money at all. The only plus is the great staff.

Nice hotel, lovely scenery, decent food and the beach was great. Staff were friendly just wasnt happy with them charging so much for deposit, other than that it was an amazing and brilliant atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Though quite a distance from the centre of Dubai, this Hotel is charming and extremely well presented. The rooms were comfortable and the staff outstanding. Overall, great service and lovely location.

I stayed in Sofitel the palm resort in Mid November 2020 for two nights. What a beautiful luxurious resort I experienced! I had the most relaxing and amazing time. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Especially the male workers at the reception area who help you with luggage and when you need a taxi, they arrange a local taxi for you whilst you wait in the reception area and they inform you when taxi arrives. They also make sure you get into the taxi safely which is very kind. The rooms are spacious and immaculate, beds are comfortable, I had a beautiful sleep. House keeping do an amazing job cleaning rooms. Breakfast was lovely, variety to choose from. My only issue is that they charge for the cabanas which were very empty in the resort. If I'm staying in the resort, as a guest I should be allowed to use the cabanas for at least an hour for free. This resort is family friendly but when I was staying in Sofitel, there wasn't many children there which is why I think I enjoyed this resort a lot more as I read negative reviews saying the children were taking over the swimming pool. I didn't experience this, there were mostly adults in the pool but only a few which was very nice as I was able to have a swim and take some nice photos with my friend.

Very nice hotel once you enter the lobby area you can find welcoming ladies offering you cold towel with nice juice and everyone greeting with Bonjour and Bonsoir it s really a special place with nice atmosphere !

Nice hotel, can't open the window because the cars on the road are a bit noisy, so I like blue curtains.

I travel a lot on business and family vacations but these has been the most enjoyable holiday ever and will definitely come back mainly because of the love and hospitality of the entire stuff from the life guards at the beach and pools to the hotel stuff above all the Manava restaurant treated us to the best food choices and even went out of their way to making a special mini birthday party for our 4yr old boy we didn't feel the need to leave the hotel as we had everything under one hotel including the lovely stuff at the kids club ,their concierge is very helpful even for trip advice or booking activities.... the list is endless you've to be there to understand the experience... plus it's not crowded which means you felt like its personalised for u. Many thanks to the Manava restaurant thumbs up for your endless variety selection of recipes. Rozila the creative host and ever smiling loved by kids

Great hotel! Enjoyed our stay. Pools were amazing, plus the view. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the Porterhouse team. They serve delicious steaks as well. Can t wait to come back in Sofitel! Thank you for the warm hospitality!

A lot of money for little power! Everything you have to pay extra, room service poor. Partly dirty! Shame about the money I left there! Definitely not the character of a 5 star luxury hotel.

Memorable stay, the hotel located in the best area in Dubai, too many things to do in, no need to go outside, rooms so clean and tidy , staff are helpful, especially the front team always smiling to me and my family whatever you ask , they reply with smile

Great hotel, right size. Nice beach and pool area. Had a wonderful vacation. Very friendly staff. One small thing to improve: we did not always get at the first try what we've ordered: Two eggs instead of one, with salmon instead of ham, one coffee instead of two... small mistakes, but I think they could get fixed. Anyway - we would book again in your hotel, if we are in Dubai the next time.
