great hotel but beware of food cost
The hotel is absolutely great!
the structure is wonderful, clean and well maintained. It's not incredibly huge (as the Atlantis, for example), but this makes it perfect for families.
The staff is friendly and supportive but never invasive (also lifeguards in the pools are very alert.
The hotel also organizes shuttles to reach the main Dubai touristic locations: Atlantis, Dubai/Emirates malls, Dubai Parks. Very convenient and lets you save some money.
The only negative thing to consider is food prices: be very careful when you order anything, especially outside, near the swimming pools, we spent 100 for one salad and two burgers...
On the other end, the Porterhouse is a great restaurant: expensive, but food quality is definitely very very high! worth a visit.
Net-net, I would suggest the hotel to everybody: great experience!
