Staff are wonderful, weather beautiful. Great place to stay even when there s a bit of construction about.

Was disappointed with my weekend stay here. Had requested a room with a bathtub and wasn't given one. I complained to the front desk and asked to switch to a room with a tub and they never got back to me. Also, they advertise to guests that they will receive 30 minutes of free internet in their lobby each day. However, after about 6 or 7 minutes every time I was kicked off. I complained to the front desk about this as well and they told me there was nothing they could do. I wouldn't stay here again because of the lack of customer service.

We are regulars at the sofitel Fiji so was excellent as expected

The staff go out of their way to ensure you're having a good holiday. They remember your name and are genuinely interested in helping you. From the lovely lady who brught me extra coffee at breakfast, to the pool guy who found my glasses and waved out to me when he saw me searching for them, and the free breakfast and coffee that was there waiting for me when I checked out at 6am. This place would be as special without those people working there. The facilities are also immaculate and have everything you need.

I still wonder what was the person thinking while designing this resort. It's completely flawed. I think they are doing renovations soon and I hope it is a complete renovation because the resort needs it. The restaurant staff at breakfast buffet is completely unfriendly and slow. I would not be staying at this resort again.

Beautiful beach and Golf resort. Nice amenities for adults and children. Perfect for family vacations.

The staff were extremely friendly, we were greeted warmly by everyone from the reception staff right down to the maintenance people. The greeting "Bula" was always said with a huge smile and a feeling of genuine happiness. The food was wonderful and the benefits of Waitui Beach Club were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Vinaka!

The resort has a Fiji Airways check in all round amazing resort good food, watui adult pool was gun staff were beautiful as well, not enough superlatives to describe my personal experience here at Sofitel

Great food, family suite are awesome - my room had a little kids room with a double bunk, tv, bin bag and ps4. How cool

Bathroom small, but the kitchen area was worth the small bathroom. Lovely people and service.

Wonderful place, helpful and friendly staff. Great place if you want to chill by the pool all day. Only one negative, limited options for those with special dietary requirements. Other than that the whole family really enjoyed their stay.

Fantastic service, nestled on an oceanside setting with tidy rooms and wonderful amenities. Will be even better once the upgrade is complete!

Omg amazing. I did not want to leave. The staff are amazing friendly and kind. Nothing is ever a problem. Best out of all the big resorts. Rooms clean. The best meals and breakfast....Omg huge. On all the places on earth I'm so glad I picked Sofitel for my wedding. They went over and above for us and I can't thank them enough. Especially Selai. She is an asset to you Sofitel. Will be back

New beautiful Beach club room with a view of pool and beach. Service is impeccable. We had a few request last night and they were brilliant. Breakfast is amazing, best buffet I have ever been to. Second day and having amazing time. Now if they could change the weather it would be even better.

We went only for a weekend to get some warm weather, and loved Fiji

It was great and inspiring. Very welcoming. Loved the staff, they were very courteous and extremely helpful and eager to assist. Room was nice and clean. Surrounding was pleasant and good to see lots of people around pool etc.

Only comment I can make is that there was not much of assistant during the cooking breakfast area in particular when there was a single chef and was confusing regarding ordering process when guests were in queue.

lovely people, very friendly and welcoming. The team at the towel bure in particular who organised the activities were amazing. The pool is great and we loved the location. The hammocks on the beach were a highlight.

Beautiful views and friendly people. Construction currently in progress so a few things missing but it didn't affect us at all.

Great location only a short walk to the port where there are restaurants and bars if you dont feel like eating at the resorts. The friendliest staff in the world!

A great hotel well managed and staffed. Enjoy staying here but comment that bathroom too small and would be better if bath removed and walk in shower installed.

Waitui beach club was great, however everything is overpriced, I got food poisoning from Salt which ruined 50% of my holiday. Staff are friendly and polite, bed was very uncomfortable and beach was dull.

We think this might have been the best holiday we have ever been on!
We felt very looked after but never bothered by anyone. The Waitui Beach Club is perfect and the staff are fabulous

Having the Accor Plus membership made the stay really good value with 50% food across all the restaurants at the resort.

The room was well laid out and appointed with a lovely view of the pool and beach.

Movie night was fun, great to laze in a cabana and have dinner while the movie played.

Wonderful resort with excellent service from friendly helpful staff. I would recommend the resort to anyone looking for somewhere to stay here at Denarau.

Stayed for 4 days in the Waitui Beach Club. I was overwhelmed with the service, friendliness and the facilities. Definitely going back.

The stay was great after 2 years lapsed of holiday. I have not experienced other Sofitel Hotels but as a couple, we enjoyed our stay.
They have told me that they're going through changes from menu, services and room designs now. We will experience a new Sofitel Nadi in 3 years time.

Very old & outdated hotel, especially the bathrooms. Some balconies have no shade/cover, from sun or rain. Nowhere to hang wet towels/swimwear. Children playing all over the main pool. No quite area unless you pay an extra 100 F$ per day. Dreadful cocktails at the Waitui Beach club. Black sand beach & merky ocean. Try the Intercontinental at Natadola Bay a MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT at the same price. #LetsGuide

Your staff were amazing, they were always anticipating guest needs and jumping in before they were asked for something. They were great with the kids and all departments were so friendly. Eye contact was made by all your staff when approached and a warm welcome with Bula always. The only drawback of our whole experience was how tired and small the bathroom was

Room 222 very happy as I requested quiet room and it had a nice outlook of the adult pool
Room was very clean and happy with size etc but please read reviews on TripAdvisor as bleach on the mold in the shower recess grout would be great and reduce your negative reviews. Mold is dangerous to people health and looks terrible.
Waitui Adult club was good and pool temperature was amazing, staff were very friendly and gave good service. Free Cocktails tasted like Mocktails, champagne was nice. Canapes with only two tiny ones per person which wasn't sufficient and disappointing.
Buffet breakfast was exceptional and great value. Waitui Club breakfast was expensive and very disappointing.
Waitui Club check in could have been more informative about what you were entitled to. Check in was disappointing.
Salt restaurant the first night we went was Ok second night was excruciatingly slow service and felt like hours before meal arrived even though the restaurant wasn't busy.

This resort is so beautiful, so much to do and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back and spend more time here. My wife and I will miss this place

not worthy of the stars it has been giving, asked for an ash tray on the day of arrival still hadn't arrived 4 days later.
the room fridge was falling apart.
the bathroom had more mold than a good cheese.
the glass was falling out of the ranch slider door.
they washed the counter tops down with bleach,but failed to remove all the bleach and when we unknowingly placed clothing on the counter top it was sadly bleached.
this resulted in a complaint to the management there who offered a massage as recompense, then they tried to charge us for the massage.
So if you want to stay on the island pick any other place than this one.

Excellent staff service and food. Centrally located and the you're bound to run into the manager who ensures everyone is taken care of. Family friendly, though you might wanna find a way into the adult pool section if you like peace and quiet.
Many restaurants to choose from. Clean rooms with all amenities.

Great resort. Friendly helpful staff. Amazing food at Salt Restaurant. So Spa was a wonderful experience. Waitui Adults Beach Club is worth the upgrade to.

Had a wonderful 7 night stay with you in September staying in a luxury room with Waitui Beach Club access. The whole experience was exactly what we were looking for, peace, tranquility, comfort, excellent food and service. V Restaurant is absolutely world class and chef Muni is a credit to your hotel along with his team. We have been fortunate enough to eat in many hatted restaurants and V is up there with the best. Chef Muni created a Mud Crab menu for us and will be a dinner we will be talking about for awhile. We also did your private bure dining and had the food from V, where Chef Muni even brought us the main dishes personally. The Waitui Club for those without children is a must, we spent most of our days there under a tree by the beach and cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the Club and at the Gym.

Enjoyed it very much. Thanks so much to Neumi and Sisilia at La Pariesienne for our breakfast every day and coffee just the way we like it.

the room was lovely, reception staff were lovely but we were amazed to find that we were not collected at the airport like all other guests from other hotels were and then when the hotel finally picked us up told by the driver that it was covered by the hotel so we gave him a tip of $30 only to find we were then charged $90 by the hotel! Secondly our meal experience on the last night was appalling - we were forgotten so didn't get a table for ages, we were then put at a bar table which was dirty, we were not brought the right drinks, the kids had to go and get their own water from the bar, we were brought and charged for food we didn't order and didn't receive the food we did order and then charged full price. Nobody said sorry, nobody seemed to know what was going on and nobody would take responsibility. We ordered our dinner at 5.30 and left our husbands still waiting for their meal at 7.30pm....considering we had small children who were starving and just waiting for a bowl of chips and some water it was pathetic!

What a great holiday. It started off a bit rough but as we worked into holiday mode it was just so relaxing. Weather was great, people were great, place was great. Will be back next year!! A couple of things though - bathrooms are old and small but the thong is you are not there for long - you just want to get outside!! and people have said its expensive - buy an accor plus membership and all food is 50% plus the amounts are in Fiji dollars - when you convert it is not to bad.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and being on the ground floor was a bonus.

We cannot recommend the Soffitel Resort Denarau high enough as we have made it back for our third trip and will be back again...feels like our second home away from home..

Relaxing. Clean, refreshing pool. Great food and service at "V" restaurant.
Beach was very disappointing, muddy, weedy, tepid water. Overall: great facility built on the wrong Fijian beach.

As always we were extremely satisfied with our visit to Sofitel. From the entry greeting and welcome juice to the final collection of luggage in storage we were welcomed with friendly greetings and smiles. During a minor heart attack during our final few hours with you that my husband had and was so well looked after by a waitress in the Salt Bar to the attendance by another waitress and the duty manager we would like to say our most heartfelt thank you for being so kind and helpful.

We enjoyed everything - accommodation, food except the sea food platter, room services, swimming pool and staff were very friendly.

It was a pleasant stay, lots of relaxing.
Our room was the biggest let down with our bathroom being pretty run down. Black stains in the white tub, hairs in the floor which is what was there when we opened the door. Mould in the grout. It was the worst bathroom we have ever used in a prestigious hotel.
The food was great at Salt but the hotel food was too westernized. We choose to eat at the other hotels for dinner. Water sports were way to expensive.
Everything else was amazing, great service, breakfast was fantastic, kids club amazing, cocktails amazing, pool experience amazing.

Totally relaxing 9 days stay. The Waitui Club is the "icing on the cake."

The staff were super friendly. The food and wine were good. The room was kept clean and well maintained. The facilities were clean and well maintained.

I would give this place a much higher rating but for the pool and towel service issues. I was only in Fiji for 3 nights. When I went to the pool, they never had towels. In fact, one day it took over 4 hours of waiting to get 1 towel for 2 of us (they could not give us 2 towels). This seems like poor logistics and planning. It was a huge problem as we did not have enough towels in the room to use at the pool and your poolside towel service was honestly terrible. It was a big inconvenience for us, and enough of an issue that we would not stay at Sofitel again. The pool/beach are pretty much the main reason for staying at your resort. I will likely be staying with another resort or hotel at my next Fiji visit, or any other tropical beach location.

First Class resort, ultra friendly staff, choice of fine dining rooms.

We stayed for 2 separate nights, 1 at either end of our trip to Musket Cove in October.

The room we stayed in at the end of our trip was nicer than the first, but both were clean, great location and in room amenities.

The Waitui Club (adults only) was fabulous and a great place to wind down day or night.

Food at Waitui, Salt, the cafe and the Breeze bar was nice but we didn't enjoy the buffet breakfast at all unfortunately.

We enjoyed our 10 days. Setting is lovely and staff are excellent. Room was good. Weakness was the quality of some of the food

The traditional Fijian one to one service was excellent. Our stay was marred by lack of attention to to detail. We were overcharged for our Wai Tui Club upgrade and always had to check we received the applicable Accor Plus discounts on food and beverages.

We were in Australia for 2 weeks at Sofitel. Very nice hotel to relax and unwind.

We spent 9 nights here and were not disappointed the staff were all amazing, going out of their way to ensure you had everything you needed. We were very taken by the gorgeous young lady called Balini who was always there with a welcoming smile a contagious giggle and a great sense of humour. When we asked about attending a church service she offered to come and pick us up the next morning to take us on the bus to her church which we were estactic about . God bless her she is the essence of the Fijian people,I would be proud to have her as my daughter.

Amazing entrance and lobby area, front staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was clean and and comfortable but the shower area was dated in comparison to the rest of the room.

Both pool areas were beautiful and the grounds well maintained. Private adults beach club a little overpriced, especially for an extended stay.
