great place away from the commercial port area. Much nicer and more relaxed! Great staff

Not well advertised of services and facilities. Dirty bathtub. Small TV, not enough channels.

An OK place for a short stay. Quite expensive and looking tired now, so in need of a refresh, especially considering the cost. Breakfast was very average. Good sized bed and quiet rooms but these don't outway the negatives. Very friendly staff.

Yet another disappointing stay at a Novotel... their only fortune is to be 5 minutes away from the airport, otherwise there wouldn t be a single reason to spend a night there.
Had written before the arrival to ask for two cots and neither of them was available. The room was tired and stale, plus suspiciously unclean, with a decadent feeling both inside and outside.
Horrendous dinner, probably the worst had at a hotel restaurant for a very long time. The chef came to the table to apologise for an inedible poached fish and tried to make it up with an almost inedible dessert.
Nice concierge service as the only positive note.

Great hotel but sometimes lacking on the service front. Stayed here many times and its very comfortable. People who work here are very happy and friendly. Hotel is aging fast but don't let that stop you.

We didn't have a good experience here, when they have us the room the wall in the bathroom where not cleaned, you could see the soap and shampoo dried up to the wall.. And we didn't have hot water, we where able to have a fast shower with some warm / not cold water. 30 minutes of free internet in the lobby is a plus point of this place compare to other hotels.

Standards appear to have dropped and service not what it was. recent stay required almost two hours for dinner, little staff coordination and even checkout was slow. Am already booked to stay again but if same experience it will be Tanoa or any other airport hotel for transits from now on.

The room is always clean as best, the room lady is very warm and caring. I love the attitude of maids and cleaning ladies here. But the internet service here is worst among the same range star hotels that I experienced. The room internet fee daily is nearly 38 FJD/day and it continuously stopped working the whole day. It took me 2 hours to send my 50mb file with that daily fee. In terms of a business trip, this was not the thing I expected. The pool is not so clean.

Luxurious and comfortable structure, very accurate and clean. The hotel staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, especially with regards to the restaurant sector. Excellent both dinner and international breakfast. The hotel has a strategic position both for reaching the airport in just a few minutes, and as a starting point for boat trips to visit the various nearby islands. Definitely worth the money in terms of staying here as a base and making day trips by boat to see the beaches of the small islands that dot the area, rather stay in one of the expensive resorts that occupy the entire islands.

Staff are very friendly. Resort, pool and restaurant are lovely. Views from restaurant are amazing would give 5 stars but air conditioning and bathroom need a little upgrade, otherwise excellent
Close to airport and shuttle service was quick and on time.

It was such a bad experience the rooms are dirty air condition don t work properly they got us a fan but it was broken we waited so long to clean the room and at the end toilet wasn t cleaned I won t recommend it to anyone this hotel need so much work sorry but Novotel Nadi never again

Quaint. One of the older hotels. Used to be the Mocambo. Wasn't impressed with housekeeping.

Really like the place friendly staffs and services were good.

Lovely service. Had booked rooms sutaible for 2adults and 2 kids. Room comfortable and nice cooling system. Breakfast is ok but less cooked vegetarian options. Waiters and breakfast staff are awesome.

The worst hotel ever. Dtated here Christmas eve and Christmas day, took almost 2 hours to sort our rooms out. Chwcked in about 4pm, room not cleaned and aircon not working. Moved to another room, aircon not working and toilet filthy . Moved to a 3rd room.
Meanwhile my auntys room, the door kept locking . Had it reprogrammed many times.
Massage room charged $150 for 30 minutes, yet Tanoa international hotel nadi charged only $85 fir 1hour 10 minutes with facial and mask.
No Christmas feelings in Novatel hotel.
Pathetic and will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had to go back to the reception 2 times to get my keys made right , they shifted me to a room as far away as I could get from reception , 3rd world organisation

Bula! The magnificently friendly staff make up for the ageing rooms, which are not clean. Surprising that the cleaners can t even clean the floor. The rooms were average and beds not comfortable. I would recommend this for an airport stopover, just like we did, however a warning that you may not experience your dream Fiji getaway if you stay here the whole time. Everyone was so friendly, every staff member smiled and greeted with a warm Bula .

Make this your last choice to stay! The whole place is outdated and run down, the room aircon hardly cools the rooms down, the breakfast is not worth the money you pay with very little on offer and to top it all off the staff at the resort just don't care about the place or the guests who are staying. There is very little help from the front desk staff with simple requests or questions and how this place is rated 4 stars really makes me wonder how they can get away with advertising this to future guests. This "resort" if you can call it that has definitely put a damper on what started off as a great holiday.

The staff try very hard to welcome guests. We are on our second room since we arrived 2 hours ago. The air conditioning failed on the first room. The AC in this room just failed.

WiFi requires calling the front dest for a modem. Speeds and service are fine if you get a modem

The showers don t drain so you end up standing in water

The location is nice but this hotel needs work. Lots of work. This property is FAR below normal Novotel standards.

The TV in the room is about the size of a computer monitor.

Lots of better options. We will not be back to this location

Update - hotel manager did what he could. We are now on our third room. We thank him for his efforts. Slightly better room. Much larger tv and the AC is cooling the room down to 27C... just below the ambient temp . We moved with our internet modem so internet came with us. We came to the Novotel to spend our last 7 hours in Fiji a cool environment before our flight .. mission failure. I have to say again it was not for lack of effort by the helpful staff.

The only thing that was good was the closeness to the airport.
The food was so bad it was pathetic. The breakfast buffet did not include any meat products such as sausages, eggs, bacon, etc. I'm not quite sure why, but not everyone is a vegetarian. I ordered the reef fish for dinner. I can tell you this fish should not have been taken off the reef or wherever it came from. It was so small it was not even edible. I tasted the fish and it was disgusting, and the tamarind sauce , well, I'm sure it was brush on to the fish as an afterthought. The lady that served me did not even know the name of the fish. I suggested to them to take this dish off the menu. The air condition in the room did not work properly. No water in the fridge but at least the room was somewhat clean.
At least the staff were cheerful and polite. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

My favorites are Golden Ocean, their miso soup is great and the veg teriyaki sandwich from Patisserie

Entire Experience:

Location:
1. It s close to the airport, which is good access to take the flight. However, it s far from the Denarau port, when you go to the port and back, taxi driver charge you more.
2. There is a supermarket and several restaurants with walking distance.

Staff:
Friendly and helpful. But it took 2hours for them to find a blanket. You may hear they are on Fiji time but here, they are on double Fiji time. There is one day when I went out leaving Clean please tag on the door but the room was not cleaned at all. I requested a simple cleaning after that but no one came.

Facilities:
1. They own all facilities. Gym, golf, restaurants, shops, travel desk, garden, pool.
2. Most of the facilities are pretty old.

Room:
1. My room has 2beds, one of which doesn t have the blanket. Only linens.
2. The TV is broken. Security box is not functioning. One of the lamp is broken, making the room dark at night. The air conditioner is not adjustable.
3. The bath tub has no drain stopper.

View:
I like the view. It s beautiful during the sunset. Many tropical plants.

Had an amazing time at this resort Warm, helpful & friendly staff. Loved the menu, our room was spacious and clean and the grounds are very well kept. Will definitely return. Darshika, Luke, Amarita and the whole staff were wonderful. Thank you for everything you did in making our 27th wedding anniversary and my husband's surprise 50th birthday present as perfect as it could have been...thanks to you guys.

Nice place to spend a weekend at if your coming in from Suva. The food prices are on the high end. But the rooms are good.
Only problems were once I stayed there there was no water coming into my room.
Otherwise the staff and all are really good and helpful. If only the food and drinks was at a reasonable price I would have given it a 5 star.

The room was so bad....there was a ant and lot of insects ooh....price = rood quality.....i dont wanna say it..But the crew who working for the hotel was very kind so i give 2 star...

No way this is a four star hotel. It is a BAD motel - I have been at cleaner Motel 6. If you are looking for a 4 star hotel - look elsewhere. I have stayed at Novotel in NYC and that is a nice location. This one is VERY VERY disappointing. Not sure in which world this counts as a four star.

1 shampoo, conditioner and body wash for twin share. AC not cooling enough

Staff were amazing and helpful. Had no issues.Room was expected. I would stay here again or even come here for a getaway regardless if it's inland it's peaceful and you feel uninterrupted

Great staff. We had the flu when we checked in and the staff went out of their way to give us ginger, lemon and honey to have with our tea.

Rooms are great but tv content not good. Free wifi took care of that though.

I spent time here during qurantine, not paid by me but the govt, still putting in a review, 14days of qurantine one cannot step out of the room as much as we would have liked to, that leaves us with watching TV, tht didn't work in rm223 plus it was a14inch screen, and using internet which wasnt available to us until day two.
And the smell of the room just puts if off, smells old, moldy and stale just not something you wanna wake up smelling.
The AC vents were dirty and not cooling the room enough.
Overall I was glad I wasn't paying for this, and also regretted govt paying for it not cool at all.

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SErVICE. MIS-COMMUNICATION BETWEEN EXPEDIA AND THE RESERVATIONS DESK AND WE WERE PENALISED FOR IT.

Expedia sent us am email confirminf ALL inclusive package for SONAISALI RESORT and NOVOTEL NADI. Sonaisali honours this commitment and gives all meals and wifi included in the stay.
BUT NOVOTEL refuses to provide lunch, dinner and wifi, DESPITE WRITTEN CONFIRMATION FROM EXPEDIA shown to them.

TO TOP IT ALL, THE LADY ASKS ME TO CALL EXPEDIA SAYING IT COST HER $1.21 FOR 6 mins ( showing me the printout for the calls she had made earlier). I make the call for 8 mins and we are slashed with $29.00 telephone charges!!!!!

Hotel is ok. Close to airport and agree with other needs a tidy up. The business rooms are good and spacious. Breakfast is a joke, but dinner is nice.

I'd give it an average rating for this place. Just merely 5 mins drive from the airport, that is, if there's no traffic and a good 10mins drive to the city centre, but could take a good 45mins during peak hours. The rooms need to be renovated and maintained, especially the bathrooms. The floor tiles are also very much outdated and dirty looking. Even if you wanted to sit out on the balcony area, you possibly couldn't coz the furniture outside looks like it's never been cleaned and so the railings!
I personally think there is an issue with the management level!!!....just trying to rake in dollars but not investing at all. I wouldn't take a chance staying here next time.

We had a dinner event done here a couple of years ago and prayer breakfasts for a few years now and it was well hosted. Nice facilities and set up by staff is nice.

The place is conveniently located to most residential areas in Nadi and the airport.

Rooms 810 & 811 - the aircondition units were not working.
So we chose to open up the doors and have fresh air instead.
Pool and gym was ok and were the highlights of our stay.
Breakfast was $17 for one egg cheese sandwich and a juicebox or a egg wrap with a juicebox was wat overpriced.
The other breakfast option for $17 was cereal, milk, an apple and a tiny piece of cake.
If you're a local like us wanting to take advantage of local rates, my suggestion would be to make your own breakfast. For $17 you can definately feed your whole family breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would definately go back but will be better prepared to look for meals outside.
Vinaka Novotel Nadi.

Me and my partner spent 3 nights there, first thing : no free wi-fi, who the hell charge for wi fi in the 21th century,especially in a "4 stars" hotel.Secondly: we had the bbq buffet yesterday, it's 40 FJD per person, was absolutely bad, dry chicken with chards, uncooked and unseasoned cassava (root crop), cheap sausage (even the cat didn't touched it) we refused to be charged for this dreadful dinner, they charged us anyway, unacceptable!Thirdly : No towels available after room cleaning, "succesfully" delivered after having a shower, 2 hours later.They are lucky that we can't contact the general manager, because otherwise I'm sure that they would take the first flight to straighten the stuff there.First and last time at the Novotel Fiji.Avoid this place at any cost and if possible boycott it!

Being a little generous as two stars seemed a bit harsh. Very basic, but adequate for a stopover while in transit to somewhere else.

Clean room, good breakfast. There are some facilities for our kids to enjoy like tennis, gym, etc.

It was convenient, close to airport and nadi town.. rooms are comfortable!
