This company is a huge disgrace. Those in charge of it should be embarrassed, ashamed and take all the necessary steps that they can to remedy all of the numerous issues and problems. It is a dishonest and morally corrupt organisation. They should also issue an apology to all of their current and former clients who have been out of pocket and grossly inconvenienced because of the unnecessary delays.
You have no idea how to deal with clients, how to retain employees and how to progress claims. You are a rubbish organisation whose sole purpose is to provide a deplorable level of service.
The best advice that I can give to people is for them to stay clear of this thieving, lying organisation which purports to be a law firm. Every time you ring them they give a different story as to how your case is being progressed. They lie about your case and no one works on it for months.
You treat your clients in a horrible and neglectful manner. You clearly do not care about your members of staff and I feel sorry for the ones who think that they are being employed by a proper and leading organisation. You clearly misrepresent the nature of the roles to people.
This company is just awful and someone needs to investigate the way claims are pursued because claims are not progresssed in any efficient way.
They never do what they promise and the turnover rate for its members of staff is abhorrent and it is so high that it compromises cases. I have researched the way this place treates their members of staff and no wonder so many people leave bad reviews. Employees state that the managers treat them in a horrible way, they are overwhelmed with too many cases, they are constantly humilated and criticised for everything and are not adequately trained.
They clearly do not invest in training their members of staff properly. I would be embarrassed if I were a manager of this place. It is digraceful the way they treat their clients.
It is a greedy organisation which cares so little about what they do.
They know very little about customer service and I am surprised that they treat people as horribly as they do and get away with it. Don't they have a conscience? I had the misfortune of dealing weith someone named Matthew Anderson and another person named Sammy Richardson. He treated people like rubbish and I cannot even begin to think how he was towards his members of staff. He wasn't that smart so he made up for it by being a condescending bully. I did not like the way in which he spoke to me. He was grossly inept and had no business managing a team of people. He was condescending and could not explain things in any coherent way. How he conveyed knowledge to his team is beyond me. I feel sorry for them. No wonder the Aldershot office closed if people like this were permitted to be managers.
Sammy sounded high on drugs half the time and was so rude to me. She lacked sense when she spoke and was very, very rude. She was just so classless and blatantly ignortant. She needed some serious training on how to treat other people. She was quite immature. At times, she sounded like a little girl ptretending to be an adult.
Matthew Anderson was not nice at all and not a great manager. I feel sorry for whomever had to work with him. I would be ashamed if I was in his position as it is clear that people were not being trained effectively. Any decent company gives its employees excellent training. He could not explain things properly and every contact with this company left my case in more of a muddle.
The incompetence of this place was just anmazing - it was as if they were trying to do everything wrong - they took ages to do the simplest things. It was as if they did not care. If I were one of the managers, I would be embarrassed. This company is a disgrace. It is just awful.
Train your employees. Take the time to invest in them. You mess people around and you don't seem to care. you mess people around and have a detrimental impact on people's lives.
You have such a high turnover rate that cases are not progressed properly. Do you ever think about the people you let go for silly reasons and the impact that this has upon them? I can tell when people are treated badly and this place is one of them.
This is just a company which lacks any morals and needs to learn more about honesty and providing good customer service.

So many people have raised issues and you need to issue everyone wom you have messed about with a letter of apology. Given the way you do things, this should only take 20 years, also given the amount of people you have adversely impacted.

Totally incompetent faceless organisation. I have been part of the VW emissions claim since the beginning. They introduced an on line portal which does not work and I have now given the same information and documents on numerous occasions but am still getting e mails asking me to go on line otherwise my claim will not be valid. When you are phoned by staff purporting to work for slater and gordon you are told different things and asked for the same information . god knows who is requesting this information . . There is no adequate way of contacting them a faceless useless organisation
They spend a long time wasting your time. They promise to support and fight for you, but they fold and bail out so easily that it is an actual joke, built up in the length of over 1 year. If you want results, stay far away from these guys

stay clear of this firm. forced me in to accepting an offer. They then didn't pay all the people who were meant to be paid. This was unknown to me so i started getting dept collection agencies calling. When i complained and ask this to be investigated, there person who was meant to investigate just spoke to the person who was responsible for some of the complain, didnt listen to any of the calls or read the emails sent. even though she stated that she fully investigated. Then when i asked to speak to her, all she stated was she had done everything she could and go to the ombudsman. since this complain i have now spoken to many people who have had a similar poor experience with this firm. No one of any seniority would come to the phone to talk to me. it seems they just want their money and run.

I am deeply disappointed by the service provided. I instructed the firm in January 2019 on a matter and recently contacted them to enquire as to progress to only be informed that my matter has not been assigned to anyone just yet and is sitting on the pile. This is not the professional standard you would expect from a prestigious firm such as Slater and Gordon and I am seeking other options elsewhere. Im Rohala Mohammadi, I currently have an ongoing personal injury claim with S&G since June 2018, its been almost 2 years since my accident and over a year since the other party have already accepted liability.
From the very start i dealt with Paul at the Manchester office. Communication and service was poor, lack of care for clients, no time given to my case. I would have to call every few months. Since late 2019 i had not received any contact for a few months, after calling the office a woman abruptly told me that Paul is no longer working for S+G to which i was shocked no one had the courtesey to let me know for months. After many stressful attempts for clarification i was told my case was going to be referred to a lady in their London office who since February time has only contacted me once.
Bear in mind the other party have admitted liability over a year ago and my case is still not concluded, i've absoluetly lost faith in them. If anyone at S+G sees this and has the slightest interest in me, kindly contact me, you should have my details. Rohala Mohammadi
Their Accident Advice Helpline will take a simple no injury accident and turn it into an injury claim without your knowledge or permission - can't imagine what they get out of this but it's not to their customers' benefit.

Very professional and customer friendly Legal Firm. Hired them to do my conveyancing and so far they have been on point. Costs are reasonable and they allow you to walk into any of their offices and submit documents to be scanned and sent to any of their other offices as verified ID etc. Convenience and service seem to be their modus operandus. Security was tight but not intrusive. The staff were very friendly and polite to both myself and the wife. Results of their work remain to be seen but if first appearances are any indicator I am sure they will do us right.

I recently hired Slater and Gordon to assist me in solving a family matter, and they introduced me to a solicitor named LAURA FLANAGAN. On our first appointment over the phone, she seemed knowledgeable and serious, but after I signed the agreement she did not do any work about my case, neither she nor anyone from this firm responds to emails or calls. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. After a month avoiding me, I told her that I would denounce her lack of professionalism, and she decided to reply saying that she was too busy and that she would start working on my case. Another month has passed, and I have not confirmation or update about anything. That email for customer care is a joke; no one replies to it. The office has just sent me an invoice to pay the second part of the fee, I tried to reply asking for information about my case, and the email doesn't work either. Nobody in this company ever showed their face to solve any issue, and suddenly they all disappeared. I went to the address stated on their website at 90 HIGH HOLBORN and found out that they have officially left the building and no one knows where they moved to. I feel scammed right now. I am definitely calling the police.

Awful experience from the very start. Poor and contradictory advice, lack of contact and terrible, terrible customer service. I was awarded compensation through the legal ombudsman and months later they still haven't paid it.

This company are by far the least caring I have experienced. I have had 2 case handlers, and my second (F.S) is not the most caring and understanding of people. As I am new to the experience of RTA she made me feel like a child when she spoke down to me for not giving information that I felt was irrelevant to her.
They don t send a little courtesy message to say hi- you are still being cared for by us, don t worry as my other solicitor firm (different case) is. The handler (F.S) said that she would just check in, and keep me updated. Unless I send an email to say, this is ridiculous, I hear nothing.
I do not rate them highly at all. 1 star is given as 0 is not an option. I begrudge them fighting my case and being in any position to win themselves a penny. They should receive a commission based on their care and commitment and communication- and if that was measured now, I d give them 1% as a gesture of good will.
My advice- AVOID. Use another. Not sure if naming others is allowed on here- but I will say that one that others (A****l Law) have monthly check ins, refer to drs quickly, refer to specialist quickly and are friendly and great to speak to!! Do not use SLATER GORDON!
Worst company i have ever dealt with. They don't email you back and they don't answer your calls. They think by ignoring me, i will simply go away. Stay clear from this horrible unprofessional company.. They should be shut down..
I applied to make a claim about medical negligence. They have several different departments to make enquiries and then they send it for assessments. I wanted to have No Win No Fee claim. My claim was quite strong and legitimate as I have both mental and physical health conditions and negligence is based on those. I described my issues to the first girl who took notes but apparently not enough of them.. I then received a letter saying my claim was rejected ? So you only take people who can pay straight away? Even though I told you I had proofs about my negligence as I kept them... they claimed they don t have any solicitors dealing with mental health and said that the manager decided to reject this claim. I didn t receive any explanation, nothing.. maybe be more specific rather than bluntly rejecting people because this constitutes to discrimination itself. I said many times that I had physical negligence as well and on their website they have cases of broken limbs and accidents etc. This company is quite selective and unless you pay them, they won t take your case for No Win No Fee claim unless you had your limb amputated by medical mistake...
I am so pleased with the service I have received from Slater Gordon, my case was handled very efficiently with care and compassion throughout, any questions I asked were answered and explained fully and I was given regular updates on the progress of my case. I would not hesitate to use this company again and would highly recommend there service.
Have had to make multiple calls and emails to get any response, they've missed court deadlines in my case failing to respond at all. It is now September and I'm awaiting a response to 9 emails an 7 voicemail messages left on 2nd June, with follow up calls and emails since. I really would NOT recommend this company.

I dealt with William Gubbins - I would recommend him. Other lawyers/firms (Blackpool/Manchester) were keen to 'stretch out' their engagement and charge me at least twice as much as Slater and Gordon! They also were masters in a lack of clarity re. what service I would get and what costs to expect. Reminded me of the joke: "what are a 100 lawyers at the bottom of the sea? A dam good start!". So that was the others..... Re. Slater and Gordon: I wasn't keen to engage with a London company as I thought I would need a mortgage to pay them but they were recommended by a friend.... Dealing with William was straightforward. He told me the options and the costs (half what the Blackpool and Manchester firms wanted to charge for essentially the same outcome) and said that whilst the unexpected couldn't be ruled out, it was very unlikely and would discuss with me first if the charges were expected to rise. William turned around what I wanted very quickly and communicated clearly and effectively. I would definitely recommend William Gubbins / Slater Gordon.
