Was very impressed with the service I received after Sally So took over my case.

I contacted Slater and Gordon to get help with exit negociatons with my former employer after I believed I was subject to an unfair dismissal. I was directed to Danielle Parsons and I could of not had a better experience. Danielle listened and understood, she was great at advising me when I was feeling powerless and stressed. I could not ask for a better outcome than the one she managed to achieve for me. I highly recommend this firm if you have an employment related issue.

POOR SERVICE. The Principal Lawyer, John Fawcett acting as our deputy is below average. He does not respond to calls nor emails. Talks too much but takes no actions. Avoid them!!

Appuling service. The way they speak to you is disgusting. They were set to earn a lot of money from me. But i will taking my claim elsewhere. I wouldnt waste your time with this extreamly poor excuse of a solicitors

Complete waste of time. After I signed up, they dragged everything out for nothing. For a whole year I was given nothing but false hope. They dropped my case even though the evidence was very strong and abundant. The reason is simple - their barrister wants easy cases, easy work and easy money. They expected me to act in a very unreasonable manner in order to make my case more prominent. I have lost all respect and will never waste my time on mainstream lawyers like these again.

I called the client care team and they were unhelpful. Waste of time, again.

This is the second time I have used Slater & Gordon and in particular Deborah Casale and the service was again first class. After my initial consultation, my case was dealt with by Samantha Farndale (Sam).
She was not only polite and very professional, but she came across like a normal person and I felt as comfortable speaking with Sam as I do with my own friends.
She not only showed empathy and listened to me, but also understood the stress I was under of which the result was not being able to think and make decisions accordingly.
Sam took it upon herself to break things down to better explain the legal Q & A's with expected responses from the other side also, and made decisions for me that I was unable to at the time. When attending court with me she looked very smart and again professional.

My last court and divorce was finalised in November 2017. Since then my solicitor Roz Lidder left the company and nobody ever contacted me and I never got my divorce paper through. I contacted office and they told me new solicitor took over my case and she will get back to me. She never has. I called reception 3 times in the last three weeks and each time they hanged off after putting me to wait on the line. Their service is expensive and not worth it. Level of professionalism seems ok if you are naive, otherwise they are ripping you off and doing very little and are not capable to bring the case to the end.

Danielle Parsons senior associate at Slader and Gordon was recommended to me by one of my ex-colleagues. I would highly recommend her and the firm. Danielle is a hard working professional, precise and direct and her guidance has been invaluable as she secured a positive outcome for me. I used Rob McKellar at Slater & Gordon in Manchester for our recent house conveyancing transaction and it was a great experience.

In contrast to previous firms I have used, Rob is scrupulously organised, responsive and pro active. I never had to chase him up, he gave clear timelines for when things would be delivered and met them and he was on top of the process from start to finish.

In addition to the organisational aspects, and in contract to some other firms which just follow a checklist, Rob is a genuinely experienced lawyer who understands how to navigate the issues that can arise on any house sale/purchase. Our sale turned out to be more complicated than expected and we felt extremely well advised throughout.

Poor assistance, lazy and unprofessional attitude by this company, picked up the phone and without offering barely any details of the case I wanted to put forward had just denied my case and gave poor attitude with a sarcastic tone of voice. Disappointed and will recommend people to stay far away.

Ambulance chasing scum bags. If you have a fake claim these guys will help you lie. If you want real work done properly I would advise to go elsewhere to a professional company. - I am unable to respond directly to the reply below so have to write it here. I have had direct dealings with Slater and Gordon and know you represented someone who had a false claim and you advised them to try and claim fake compensation of a low enough amount so the company they were making a claim against would consider paying out as they would have to pay for their legal fees. Since then I have spoken to several other companies in your industry and they have the same opinion on the level that I know you are. my post is to advise anyone with a genuine claim to use a professional company not Slater and Gordon.

Dipo Osikoya was first class. He handled my complex redundancy case with skill and understanding. Dipo identified key evidence that I'd overlooked. Despite having to deal with an intransigent employer Dipo navigated negotiations with ease and ultimately secured me an excellent settlement.

In 2 months of being appointed as conveyancers they did ZERO. Wouldn't even ring us back, or answer an email.. zip, nothing.. Total waste of time.

Of course it takes a bad review for S&G to respond, but don't be fooled. 2 months of being appointed and no progress is totally unredeemable. So clearly we won't be wasting any more time emailing for 'further investigation'. We've appointed another company who have already started searches and paper work in the first week.

I m not sure 5 stars is sufficient to explain just how effective Hannah Cornish and her team have been in their handling of a number of complex and contested family law proceedings for me. Hannah is simply a delight to work with - her legal beagle mind is convincing, strategic and most importantly achieves the results required, and she unfailingly maintains a cool assessment of the situation before us and best options - particularly as I become more annoyed (aka subjective) in the face of events I moved to Hannah, following a personal recommendation, as I needed more gumption and resilience in the face of significant unreasonableness (+). Definitely stay clear of this place. I called to make a new enquiry to ascertain whether or not I had a case. They took my details, told me someone would be in contact within 2 days. My sister called and made the same enquiry around the same time. They provided her with a reference number which I was to use to link the two calls together. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything. When I called to ask for an update, they could not find any of my details. The reference number doesn't exist. My sister called and they could not find her details. Absolute shambles.

I approached Slater and Gordon about divorce advice, I was met by Angela Kwokori who was very personable and made me feel comfortable very quickly. She broke down the details of the things I wanted to discuss and gave me realistic answers and solutions. I was dreading the meeting because it was my first step towards divorce but Angela made a weight lift off my shoulders and I was clear with all my options. I cannot believe how unprofessional this company is. I am recovering from a serious injury and rely on someone to need every need. But I wasn't expecting to have to beg for information.
When I have been given info i.e. the company dealing with my case. I call the company in question to be told they do not deal with personal injury.

You should probably reassess who you have working on switchboard, call went in circles between departments, gave up when the lady on the phone showed me attitude that was completely uncalled for. I'll take this as a sign of things to come and will take my business elsewhere thanks.

I had asked on 8-Sep that I would like completion on 21-Sep but they have not responded or carried out the necessary work and I was not able to complete my transaction.

Not only that they filled out the transfer deed incorrectly and bank returned the paper so now who knows how much longer it will take.

Through all of this nobody at Slater and Gordon that is handling my case is picking up their phone, returning my calls or dealing with my questions. As a result my divorce settlement and house purchase is being put at serious risk.

All emails to the company over the past 3 days have bounced.

Its an unbelievable and surreal situation to be dealing with a group of people with no professionalism, integrity or empathy towards their clients.

Iv been very unhappy with service been waiting for a call back for weeks every time I call up all they do is take a message and say some will call you back in 24 hurs and it never happens my ref is zam621/1/LRP I am really unhappy and upset in the way iv been treated not only my self iv recommended a friend of mine as he was in the same car as me when we had our crash at first they seemed very helpful but when the claim begins it's like they forget about ouy and dont even want to know be very courteous before using them . Slater and Gordon are impossible to contact, slow and do not follow processes or contact required departments - I would warn anyone against using them for their conveyancing as we are now at risk of losing our house because of them. We have contacted our conveyancer James Booth, with his manager Jay Singh cc'd in many times to give them the opportunity to rectify these issues, but they are unresponsive and only reply after multiple contact attempts, and are currently not even responding despite knowing our sale is at risk. From the start we provided them with all the required documents, but they did absolutely nothing for two months. When trying to follow up, the phone number they provided in their email signature is incorrect, Slater and Gordon's client care department are not answering their phones due to COVID (something the switchboard were not aware of until today) and the switchboard can only send emails to employees for a call back as James Booth and Jay Singh are consistently listed as busy or away from their desk.

Despite numerous emails requesting urgent contact from the switchboard, no one contacted us (this has been a pattern for over a month across multiple contact attemps, when they are meant to contact you in 48 hours). Eventually they responded to our emails, but so far they have failed to undertake the searches in a timely manner and the draft contracts have not been provided to us to raise questions despite the exchange deadline being 10 days away. They have also failed to contact Help to Buy regarding paperwork so they approved the incorrect items. The sales progression team from the seller and our mortgage broker have also had difficulty contacting Slater and Gordon.

Now we are in a position where we will need an extension for the contract exchange deadline, but Slater and Gordon have not requested this and now our conveyancer has gone on leave, without providing an updated contact, they are due to return the day before the deadline - therefore sealing the fact that we will miss the deadline which the sales progression team have advised this could lead to us losing the house. Also, we were initially reassured that there was an online tracker, but this doesn't actually work, and it is impossible to get an update from anyone even when you ask for one. We are going to lose buying our first house because of Slater and Gordon's failures, so please do not use them especially if you are a first time buyer - this will lead to no end of stress and you could end up losing your house.
