I liked the atmosphere , the staff was very friendly

Made an online reservation a day in advance. This is a pretty big complex with different rooms and vibes. As it was our first time, the reservation I made turned out to be for the upstairs gallery that had a more intimate atmosphere. We went for the tasting menu that was very interesting, note that the chef loves bitter flavors and they were noticable throughout the meal. After we finished our dinner we were taken for a short tour of the other spaces in the building, so we had an opportunity to take in the unique vibe of each room. Its definitely a beautiful restaurant with lots of character and artsy touches. It was a bit up there in terms of price range, but for two Michelin stars we found it quite suitable.

We dined once at the gallery and once at the lecture room and library.

I prefer the gallery for a more casual vibe, portions are small but service is amazing, it is definitely photo worthy and gallery is where all your blush pink dreams come true.

Lecture room and library is VERY fine dining, like we weren't used to it, but its fine dining to another level.

I prefer gallery, i wanna try the glade next time i come back to London, its directly opposite from the gallery and the art in there looks insane, the bathrooms are another level.

I mean from reception to being brought into the restaurant, It's not cheap AT ALL but its so worth it, for the art. The food isn't amazing i will say, but yes come for the art :)

We visited sketch for our 11 year anniversary and it didn't disappoint. We ate in the parlour - a puffy pink wonderland where the walls are lined with whimsical sketches. We had a great time discussing the art work, sipping on fantastic rose wine (pink is the overriding theme...) and eating delicious food. Plenty of options for my vegetarian other half too which is always important!

The staff were the perfect mix of hands off, allowing us to enjoy a romantic meal, and informative when needed. We had a great wine suggestion from the sommelier which went fantastically with the food ordered.

Lots of people will tell you to get excited about the loos and whilst they are cool you really should come for the food, wine and art.

Definitely come here for the afternoon tea. Sketch has a great selection of tea and near excellent scones. Everything is nicely presented. Sketch truly does have a quirky atmosphere that is worth experiencing. And if you visit make sure you take a trip to the quite peculiar toilets.

Afternoon tea at Sketch is unbelievably good, the food is sublime, it's served in a fantastic setting by wonderful people, overall an absolutely incredible experience!

Went to sketch London for their afternoon tea and apparently it was the first day of their christmas high tea menu. The Egg entree would be my favourite dish of the menu, the combination of the egg, goat's cheese and black caviar made an absolutely amazing umami flavour. All the sandwiches were amazingly delicious too, hard to choose a favourite! The gateux were definitely rich and had a very interesting combination of festive flavours. Everything was very well-presented. The scones came out fresh and warm with a nice glaze, melting the cream once spread onto it. Although, it does not look like a lot, we had to take-away the cakes at the end because we could not fit any more food in!

Our waitress for the afternoon was very friendly and attentative. She always checked up on us, ensuring we were satisfied with everything or needing anything more. Other servers would frequent our table, topping up our tea or water.

We were located in the Gallery, which had a vibrant interior with entertaining paintings all around the room. The toilets were an interesting experience, each in separate egg-shaped pods. They also had a live string trio, playing both classics and acoustic renditions of modern songs, adding a soothing tone to the food experience.

Definitely worth a try!

Gave me food poisoning and contact them after - and got the worst response ever. Restaurants should know how to serve oysters without giving customers food poising but I understand that sometimes it happens... But then they should at least take responsibility for it.

Very interesting place to begin with. It s a like a close door dining club. They try to bring the traditional French flair with modern touch. They are kind of insistent upon you order some champagne instead of cocktails. The menu is basically a multi-course tasting menu which is compiled into three course when you order.

Very nice decor,over priced drinks and welcoming to the rich/tourist BUT local Londoners be warned!! I was told I can not enter to take pictures but low and behind I saw people in there taking pictures which I might add that only been in there for no more than 3mins and me and my partner bought drinks in the circo bar. Only advice SKETCH try and make it a level playing field. Thanks and goodbye.

LOVE SKECTH! One of my favorite places in London. Always visit when in town. Food is amazing and the staff is superb! Highly recommend!!

Amazing experience from beginning to end...the best food we have ever tasted!! Every single mouthful took us from 'Core' to gastronomic heaven. Well done to the whole cast for this wonderful performance. My son & myself chose the 'seasonal tasting menu'...a celebration of the wonderful ingredients this time of year has to offer. This is well worth the experience- toilets are eggs - restaurants similar to Alice in Wonderland - cocktails amazing - expensive prices but you won't forget it

Upscale bar in a very nice area of London. The bar is quite amazing and the toilets upstairs are futuristic and worth to see.

CLEVER... This place is a museum. I am not a sandwich person so I am regretting loading up on bread and sweets but my daughter was obsessed about going here for the experience. I have to admit it was a trip!!! If you like high tea this is a must. Take your glasses so you can read all the "sketches" from your seat!!

One of the best afternoon teas in London. Been there many times just for the afternoon tea because they have a great selection of tea, amazing desserts and sandwiches and professional staff.

Interior design really cool and it definitely needs to be visited for it (especially the restroom!) but apart from this , cocktails were not so good. I expected more sophisticated cocktails from such a fancy place.

"Cold" personnel. Place with no natural light. Tables very close to each others. Limited menu. Extremely small portions. Prices beyond imagination!!! Terrible place to be in!!! I cannot understand why there are people going there

The decor is outstanding bit the quality of the service has dropped since last visited. Food is still good but not outstanding. Worth a visit just for the experience.

Should be called Sketchy. The place is beautiful but our waitress tried to double our bill since we were foreigners. After we paid the bill and caught it, the manager came over and kept telling us repeatedly it was an honest mistake, though I knew better. There were 2 of us, and we were charged 300 pounds for a fixed fee tea. The waitress knew what she was doing...

Food and tea were great, but if you go, watch your bill. They run a scam here... wouldn t return after this

Great evening. Has different rooms with different atmospheres. The food is lovely and the staff are so friendly and welcoming well worth a trip.

Fancy place for a date or just hanging out with your friends. Crowd is young and hip. Wealthy individuals tend to frequent this place. Not surprised when they charge 17 pounds per drink ;)

Have a tea in the jungle room and make sure to go the bathroom. Very futuristic and cool place.

Some tend to stay around the bathroom area to chat. Smells better than most other places you have been to.

Staff at the jungle are stiff but friendly.

The worst service I have ever received. Expect arrogance and elitism.. both abound at this establishment. Not to mention that the environment is unsettling and inspires a spaced out mood. But that s just my subjective take.

An incredible dining experience. An indulgent menu from the mind of Chef Gagnaire described by the waiting staff who could not be friendlier. The art in The Gallery creates a perfect atmosphere for the equally artful food.

Great venue if you want to have a cocktail and explore. Love that the rooms are themed incredibly differently, feels like you ve change venue each time you walk through a door. Cocktails are good but they are very expensive, so not somewhere to stay for the night

Really funky restaurant. Super hard to get a reservation especially to the tea room and restaurant. There is a Michelin start restaurant there and all of London s wealthy go there. There are also many Chinese tourists during the day.

Everyone should come to this one of a kind experience. Fantastic tea accompanied by excellent food and service. Be sure to make a reservation.

This place looks totally amazing! It's like a live Wes Anderson movie. The pink colour in the Gallery room makes it feel surreal. And the paintings on the wall complement it so well. Hurry up to see it before the collection changes!

I ve dined in The Gallery and have had drinks in the green room (I can t recall the name). The cocktails are delicious and so is the food. At the Gallery I didn t enjoy the lamb chops as much, but their truffle pasta tasted really good. Their service is impeccable too. Probably the most aesthetically appealing restaurant in London. Their washrooms are super cute and are quite bait for Instagram pictures. However, I found the hygiene levels in the washroom a bit too low for a restaurant of this standard. Due to COVID they provide multiple hand sanitisers at each table which is really good. Amazing experience overall! 9/10 would recommend.

I had been dreaming of visiting Sketch and my experience exceeded all expectations. The staff made me feel immediately welcome, the atmosphere was absolutely amazing and the food was divine. I would definitely recommend visiting when in London - a must do!

A great place for those who want to have a proper British afternoon tea experience. Loved the decor, and the food is brilient.

Really lovely cooky feel to the restaurant. The food was quite good and the service was great. The bathrooms are the best part! It was a very enjoyable eat.

Innovative decor and good food let down by poor service. Can't speak for the Gallery room but we sat in the Glade room for brunch and we were constantly let down by poor service including having our drinks order taken but not brought to the table until after the mains were delivered. We also waited half an hour after our mains were taken for a dessert/coffee menu by which time we chased the waitress for the bill and left. Shame as better service on the day would have definitely made this a 5-star visit

The venue and rooms all look great, but definitely not as good as the pictures you see online. The rooms are also not as big as I thought.

Came for the set menu lunch in the glade and the quality of the food was not great. So you are definitely paying the name and Instagram picture over food quality here.

Tea 4 two..Birthday treat. Great afternoon with a good atmosphere.

It's a very fantastic and beautiful place, but extremely gimmicky. It's like going to a haunted house of horrors, worth going once maybe, but that's it.

I wouldn't return, since it's not budgeted for the average Londoner, but for a very excentrique type of person with lots of money.

Have afternoon tea at Sketch last week, the service was awesome, very friendly and caring. Deco is super pink and girly, can't stop with photos, they even got a choir on Christmas Eve! Very enjoy the time there. Love their caramel black tea; sandwiches are fine, might not be the flavors what I'm used to; and the cakes are a bit too sweet for us, but very creative with new flavor combinations. Reservation is a MUST.

A place that you have to visit at least one time in your life. There are different rooms to discover and there are dishes that will make you crazy. If you are vegetarian you can find plates for you. The best part: the bathrooms. It s true that is a little bit massive for the tourists but worth it.

Excellent food and excellent service, very original drinks. Very pricey but if that's what you're looking for, go for it.

We recently had the pleasure of experiencing a team meeting at Sketch for high Tea. The Kooky, eccentricity of the entire establishment is initially bewildering! ;-) However, after taking in the hip and unconventional artwork and entire setting, it began to feel both surreal and uplifting. We agreed to feeling as if we were in a scene from 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' or simply a fantasy world of truly scrumptious chocolate fancies presented in a quirky manner. Definitely put Sketch on your 'To do List in London.' It's fun, funky and unconventional. Heidi Moore

Love this place great service very cool and trend the food it purely divine, tasty French cuisine and has such a great artist feel and vibe love going here. The Decor is a feast for the eyes.

I went here last Summer and it s truly beautiful. The decor is dreamy and it has been designed so well. The food was delicious. Deffo try the desserts!!!

Food and ambience was lovely. However service was to be not to be desired...left feeling disappointed.

Absolutely amazing decorations surrounding the dining hall, with great pieces of artworking guiding you through the entrance. The bar serves many interesting cocktails and of course a huge collection of wines and champagnes etc. The food More

Wines here are excellent!
We also enjoyed A Selection of British and French Cheese and Pierre Gagnaire s Grand Dessert.

Cute theme, great tea selection and quality service. Although I wished that the tea could be served more quickly! Overall great experience!

The wife was looking forward to visiting Sketch for weeks before we came all the way from Australia. The interior is lovely and just like the photos we have seen on insta. That is probably the only aspect that met expectations.

Although the tea was delicious it took a long time to be served. The food was disappointing, especially the savoury items.

Overall, this was a one time visit for us as the food doesn't match the hype.

What an experience!!! But eat something before you go as the food is delicious but served in TINY portions. Also be prepared to spend over $100 a person - not a cheap experience but definitely a unique one. Service was great, ambiance is the name of the place, easy to find and do i need to say bathrooms?

Good food, lovely decoration. When someone comes to London, we take them to this iconic place... if you have been there you know what I mean

Overrated place for sure. The presentation of the plates and the selection was very underwhelming especially considering the cost. The Parlour room that we sat in was nicely decorated but again overrated. The staff were attentive. Nice for the experience but I would not be going back for a second visit.

We visited the second of the three bars and it was awesome! Great drinks, cocktails, service and interior decoration at quite sensible prices. Its toilets are really clean and located inside eggs(!); that was funny. Highly recommended overall!
