Was expecting better food taste and quality. Ordered 2 dishes, tartar and duck, both disappointing, some unchewable pieces in the duck dish.

I just LoVeD the whole experience. Accessibility measures can be improved. Thank you for making my weekend in London the best

mmm... Sketch is Sketch... Something different and amazing bar and restaurant inside. The cocktails are amazing, the food is delicious, the staff is very nice and professional. The restroom is a surprise... you must go there.

This lived up to all of the expectations I had of this place. There were several rooms with different atmospheres. I went into the the White Room and the Glade. The drinks were very expensive, around 18 pounds on average but it s what I expected. The bathrooms were of course very cool little pods. The glade gave tiny little olives and nuts with our drinks and they were the best olives I ve ever had.

For The Gallery - High Tea. Amazing place for a great unforgettable experience, the place is fitted in the quirkiest decor, each room unique to it's own. The toilets itself is another experience!

The food however was very average for the price, tea service was a bit slow, had to wait and enquire more than two times to get it changed, which was surprising as they nailed every other service opportunity.

This is probably great if you love posting to Instagram. The tea was good, but the scones were just okay. The space is lovely but definitely is more of an evening place than we initially had thought. It has a sort of club vibe. The decor and furnishings were in line with a social media influencer's wet dream. The staff was attentive and very knowledgeable about the offerings.

Okay this place is SO worth the hype! We stopped in for pastries and coffee. It is extremely expensive of course but there s different areas with different prices. Totally worth it. You re allowed to explore. Even the bathroom is super cool. We want to come back for a proper tea time!

Excellent food and service . Very atmospheric and amazing decor

Went for a lunch with my fiancee and was definitely not disappointed. Lovely staff, Wes Anderson-style interiors (that Pink Room), quirky yet sophisticated (best part of the experience), expect a very personal take on bistro food by Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire. And its not even that expensive ! Definitely a must-visit.

I love the place, it's very unique but the food in the Gallery is definitely not worth the money! Very disappointed with what I got as a main dish. Extremely pricey yet tiny piece of undercooked salmon all covered with mayonnaise with some very amateur looking salad around it. I did not even finish it since the mayo was just too much for me and the fish was so undercooked it made me sick. I do not mind paying for a great experience and good quality food but this was sadly not the case. The dessert was very good on the other hand but I'm not going to be returning to the Gallery for dinner anytime soon.

Utterly impressive. Food was brilliant and flavoursome. Wine list long and considered (also the sommelier was very knowledgeable and happy to walk through wine choices. Service was attentive without being obtrusive.

We were pushed out from our table by staff being said to us that the allocated time for a table is 2 hours. We were not informed from the very first begging about this and also it took 10 min for one of my friends to leave his coat in cloakroom. Also it took a while after we asked for someone to take our food order. None of these were real issues until we were pushed out from our table around 22:00 having half of the restaurant empty.
This experience left us with a very bitter taste.

Beautifully decorated dining room, more of an Art Deco but done with taste. Friendly and efficient staff. Good selection of items on the menu; more towards comfort food rather than fine dining yet tasteful and appealable. Nice place for a romantic dinner.

I went to the restaurant mid pm earlier in the week. Dressed for a business meeting. I was refused entry. I asked why. I was told nobody is allowed to look around. Others passed me to do just that. I complained in writing to the manager. He apologised but confirmed the policy that Sketch does not like black people in the restaurant. Wow in 2018

Beautiful interior,cosy bar area and they have a huge,unusual washroom with a bar inside,cool place to visit.

Food and atmosphere. Perfect mix that you need to come see and taste to believe. You will be in awe amongst all the beautiful layouts and thoughtful art. From the walls all the way to your tea cup. Food is great too, well crafted and thought out. A must visit for anyone who wants to go for afternoon tea or just wants something a little different and pampering.

Great place to visit with a unique atmosphere. If you're into luxury with a twist, this is definitely for you

A spectacular restaurant with magnificent decor and sophisticated ambience. The staff are incredibly attentive and well trained in every hospitable practice. If you want to feel like you're eating in the grand hall of the Titanic, this place will not disappoint, and it's also not short of all of the theatrics you'd only expect to receive if you were royalty. The lecture room truly is splendid and nothing short of incredible. The food 5 stars. The staff 5 stars and the memories out of 10. Bravo.

Food is amazing and the place looks amazing it's a must see. Only problem is that at night they bring a dj and the music was a bit loud having to ask my waiter to repeat himself. And last thing, the website to make a reservation needs a huge update, it's outdated, old, and needs pictures of the place and food. Such a waste of resources.

Absolutely the best place to go in London. Beautiful, you can have dinner, tea and drinks in here. The place is super chic and it is absolutely a most when in London. No one should miss this place.

Really fun location! Great food and tea choices. All the rooms are beautiful.

Although the evening overall was 5 stars, it was mostly thanks to my company. Food was hit and miss (I had vegetarian tasting menu and 3 out of 5 courses I didn't enjoy if not sent plates back half touched). Service was just like you expect in such venues if not a bit too attentive. If judge food only, I would give 3 stars but all in all, we enjoyed our evening, hence it's 4.

Only tried their drinks, but all were great! Plus, the atmosphere is fantastic and eclectic. Recommend the Basilico cocktail. Refreshing as hell.

The decorations were amazing but beware of the French waitress. She refused to speak in English and was very arrogant. All the others were very kind. Lunch is affordable.

Super cool environment + saw some of the cast from Stranger Things. Trippy space pod toilets though

Food was a let down and overpriced. Poor service from inexperienced staff. We had to wait 25 mins for our pre-booked table with no apology. Amazing toilets and decor. Definitely wouldn t return other than to use the toilet.

If you want a high end high-tea experience this Sketch has a lot to offer. The different rooms are really fun and entertaining to look at some of the scribbles are really funny. Obviously the toilets are great, just be careful to go to the right side. The food was really tasty and make sure you go hungry as there was a lot to taste.

Lovely place! The risotto is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere of the lounge is beautiful. It's quiet and well decorated and there are so many details to admire. I greatly enjoyed my time here.

The best high tea ever. In really loved the ambiance. Great service and friendly. It was delicious you start with sandwiches and after that the Sweets. If your in London Just take a visite at sketch. You have to make a reservation. I think It was like a dream with all that pink.

Such a brilliant experience - a bit pricey so this is definitely a treat but can't fault the wonderful service, the fun decor and of course the delicious food. We had the tasting menu and ever dish was an experience of its own. So much fun, which you don't always get with fine dining. Will love to come back for another special occasion :)

Been here twice. Its s lovely place with a cool interior. All the sketches on the wall are so cool.

We eat in the Glade Room and had a 3 course lunch. Absolutely great food and service. Highly recommend the duck and the sketch chocolate for desert. If you want something lighter have the fig millefeuille.

General impression that this is a place worth visiting once, if your budget permits.
Sketch has three rooms, we managed to make reservation on the day in the Parlour room but in general the place is always busy.

The Parlour room itself is interesting decorated, but not very well lit so the photos we took of the food were not the best.

The music in the Parlour room was nice and went well with the atmosphere they were trying to create.

The service was normal and absolutely nothing special from the waitresses sides.



I am giving it 4/5 stars because the desert was really good and also because it is an interesting restaurant which people should experience once whe in London.

Great experience, a must go to once, but I wouldn't go back for the tea. The savory sandwiches were good but we were disappointed by the sweet treats. The scone was good but the rest were only OK, definitely not five star quality. Some of them were bland, especially the ones in a cup. The tea was also nothing special. The best treat of the afternoon tea was the amuse-bouche, cheese with egg and caviar

Just had a lovely dinner here for my girlfriends birthday. Only issues were she can t eat gluten and we let the waiter know however when the beef arrived it had bread with it, they were very apologetic and made a new one quickly, we also More

Popped in on a whim on my birthday and luckily managed to squeeze in high tea. The food was great, staff incredibly welcoming, and knowledgable and ambience was unlike anything else.
Will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends

This is a review for the Sketch Lecture Room and Library.
(The Sketch Gallery is not great, it is good, but there are better places for comparable money.)
Food at the Lecture room is great. But what really stands out is service. From the few Michelin starred restaurants I had the luck to try, the service here was really top notch. A very pleasant, easy experience.

The food was excellent, the staff was elegant but not too snooty. The decore is cheeky and fun... but the bathrooms...wow. I've seen nothing like it

Yup it's expensive and quirky but wow I was impressed by the quality of the food, and the selection of the teas. One positive is that you can get free refills of the food excluding the caviar, and change up the tea as often as you like.

My friends and I checked out this location per a recommendation from a friend and we loved it! We enjoyed the Afternoon Tea meal which included items such as caviar and quail egg. The atmosphere is so unique here, the tea and finger foods were delicious and the wait staff was pleasant. If you want to go, make sure you call well in advance for a reservation as seating is limited.

I've been here twice and had great experiences both times. First time we had high tea in the pink room (definitely need a reservation!) and it was such a lavish and fun tea. The art, cups and plates are so unique. Second time I had cream tea with scones in the green room by myself and had a delicious cheese platter as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Service and reception: -100 stars

So to start with, you get to the door to enter a 3 michelin stars restaurant and you get stopped by a bouncer (yes a bouncer!!!!) who asks you to open your bag (a clutch) to check what you have inside.
I have been to many restaurants and many 3 stars ones and also to clubs and bars: I have NEVER EVER seen this.
Security or not, this is a disgrace for the money you pay to be treated like someone who is queeing at the entrance of a football game!!!

And finally the apotheoses: when we left and were getting taxi, the same bouncer (I am still staggered at this!) pushes a lady who was was taking shelter from the rain at the entrance, screaming "you need to move from here, we are working!"
Appalling is an understatement to describe the starts and the end of the evening
I will never go again to that place; and neither anyone from my company, or network
Advice: if you are really curious, go for a tour to check out the design during the day; the food is really not worth the bad treatment you get, neither the money you spend.
You better go to all the other places around, much friendlier, with a real etiquette and less arrogant despite having as well as many MIchelin stars!!

Reasonable but the furnishings the ladies will love

The most iconic and beautiful restraint and bar in London. The Christian Dior used to have a headquarter office in this venue until 1997. I really loved the contemporary French dining and cocktail in the awesome European house DJ music and art installation atmosphere. Even the tea in lunch was great!

Fun and artistic place to enjoy unique flavors. Accommodating and prompt service. We enjoyed the lunch 3-course menu. I have pictured us the veal escalope with baby spinach.

The Sketch restaurant is absolutely fabulous

The girl on the door was very friendly and welcoming and invited me to use the walk-in bar as you had to reserve a table in the big rooms and they were full. All the fixtures and fittings are quirky/arty. The Gallery room is mind blowing. Different to anywhere else I've been. A bit pricey but the experience is worth it. Egg shaped pod toilet cubicles.The journey to the toilets through the Gallery room was memorable. I had to stop to take photos. A place you won't forget in a hurry!

Took my mum here for here last birthday. She loved it. Very funky place. Highly recommend for dinner.

This was my first experience at any Michelin starred restaurant and I was absolutely mind blown. If you want to feel like you have any importance in this world this is the place to go. You are greeted very courteously and they walk you to your area of choice where the waiters will take care of you the whole time you are there. They legit will help you out of your seat, walk you to the bathroom, greet you when you come out of the bathroom, walk you to your seat, and then help you back into the seat. Notice I haven't even talked about the food yet.The food was an amazing experience. The taste was exquisite but the presentation along with the 'journey' definitely made it worthwhile. Expect to spend ~$220 USD (depending on exchange rates of course) when here. I think pictures of food will do it more justice instead of me just talking about it.

Sketch was a very unique tea tasting experience with an interesting decor and ambiance. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The decor was very cool and funky. Sketch probably had once of the coolest restrooms I've ever been to in a restaurant.

Beautifully designed and presented place very quirky but tasteful. Service excellent and attentive all round experience well worth the visit.

The location is beautiful and we had lunch at the Glade which is the room that looks like you are entering into a Monet paining down to the green mossy textured carpet. Everyone on the staff was really nice and they even gave us some band aids to help with the "new-shoes" issue that I had going on at the moment. The place is so cute and photogenic that we spent a good amount of time just taking it in and admiring the floral arrangements which were extra ordinary.For drinks we opted to go for smoothies. I had the Bananalicious which was hands down one of the best smoothies I've ever had and really unique. The restaurant space is rather small so the blender noise on the bat was quite deafening and I am sorry for everyone else who had to put up with the noise so that I could get the smoothie but it was totally worth it.

Top Notch First Class experience.
Attention to detail almost immaculate...some of the food options perfect, a couple of items let down the quality a little bit. When everything is great small flaws are very obvious.

Cool Place. Hard to get reservations but worth it. Bathrooms are are awesome!!

First of all, the decor is amazing and the experience of being there is very fun. However I'm not sure that outweighs the snootiness of the staff. When I walked up a man who I later realized was the door host asked me what I was there for without greeting or niceties. There was an issue with my order and my waitress was straight up rude to me and visibly annoyed. She also ignored our table for the rest of the meal, meaning we had to literally get up and ask someone to send her to our table. Also the food was overpriced and mediocre at best. We didn't have the tea service, we had lunch in The Glade, so perhaps your experience may vary if you're in the Gallery? I don't know. After years of wanting to go, I was sorely disappointed and won't go back. Also their website is trying to hard to be cool and just plain sucks.
