Never buy Tourist SIM of Singtel. You can't refill or recharge it. 90 minutes IDD for 7 days comes with SIM afterward you can do nothing with it. Ultimately you'll have to buy prepaid sim to refill and make international calls. They're cheat they didn't mention it anywhere on SIM cover. I suffered a lot while in Singapore even went to their office. Their customer service representative are very unprofessional as well. They couldn't help refill my SIM. Buy prepaid sim of StarHub. Maximum tourist use StarHub. In fact StarHub is the largest telecom operator in Singapore. I learned the fact later.

I visited Singtelshop to have my prepaid card change to postpaid card. The customer service has help me to change it within an hour. Thanks to Yuan Jie and John Teo for their help to complete the task. Well Done ! I would recommend the service to others compare to other Singtelshop.

A renovated outlet which is Suppose to be more customer centric. Unfortunately the key in being customer centric also depends on the staff not just the environment which in my opinion singtel is far being. Perhaps singapore customers is not important to them.

There are ample spaces to sit while waiting for queue number to be called. There are many counters, so it takes about 10 minutes to be served. The process of buying a phone and trading in old phone is simple and quick. Complete in a about 10 minutes and then queue another 10 minutes to make payment. The Singtel plans could be more competitive since it is the largest Telco.

Not helpful. Felt railroaded into plan selection. Plans were confusing and when i asked for explanation a few times, salesperson got impatient. The full terms are not stated fully on the brochures and yiu only have a few minutes to absorb what the salesperson is saying. Not impressed.

Which lift to take after parking is a disaster because directions aren't very clear. We think the lady's service at the business department in charge of our land-line on 4/3/2020 (second visit) was exceptionally good, especially when we met with some hiccups on our first visit. We couldn't get her name but Salesman ID stated on our agreement is 8130, not sure if it's the same person. Would've given 5 stars if not for the after parking directions.

If you are going for a complain or buying a new SIM card plz plz get an appointment and go or you are surely going to wait for more than 2hrs.

Mistakes I made and had my bill to 950SGD ( don t repeat if it makes sense to you)

1. I was one wk old in Singapore and I just walk to Singtel to buy a SIM card. Waiting time 2 hrs ....... my time strikes and I sit in their counter .... got my sim connection after being brain washed for going for higher price package.. I also bought top up for india calling (700 mins calling free for 13-14 dollars). After a month I see the bill that I called India 400 mins and my bill was 650 dollar, calling up customer service they said I did not use 019 before every Indian call..... the day I was there to buy the SIM card I was there in this office for 2 hrs talking to a customer representative never he opened up his sweeet mouth to tell me I need to use 019 but he was more interested in making money out of it.

Later I had to confront about the information with sales manager, sales representative, tele callers, store manager for not sharing the information or not intimating the call cost through sms either.

Alas they accepted to reduce 50% then I had to do the round again three times till I get them waivered . At the end thanks to them for understanding my case.

2. Same month I was in Batam I got stuck in a place and was looking to check for map I opened up the data. And I din have the internet package on. I was checking the map and my whatsap was refreshing the data at the same time in less than 5 seconds I got an sms saying I used 8MB data and it costed me 300dollars.
Again I had to worship the officials !!!!

Worst advice ever! Call centre tells me to bring the moots items to any singtel shop to terminate. When I get to AMK singtel shop, I can t do it!!! I have to find another day to go to singtel comcentre. Super Super waste of my time.

If you are going there for your dealings with Singtel, this is a brilliant experience. Singtel is attempting to reinvent the user experience for customer service and the concepts introduced are unique and effective. However, for those who are not too tech savvy, they may find this experience a bit too foreign, but there are staff present to assist. It is not as intuitive for first timers, but should be easy to get use to.

The waiting time is too long. Had 5 queue numbers ahead of me and it showed waiting time as 1 hour 25 mins. I waited for 30 mins and the wait time on the online tool kept increasing. Just left the place after this.
