I had such a great time at this restaurant. Excellent customer service and with reservations we were seated immediately! The food was super delicious!

One of the best bone in ribeyes I ever had.
Prime beef, flavored to my tastbuds like no other.
I am not really a "poster".
Really no time to post, but when I do post once a year, take notice!!
Wendy served us and..well..she did her job..and did it well..so many fall short because of distractions in today's busy world.
But I dont know anything, just another 58 year old man that eats out over 200 times a year.ROLL TIDE!!

Totally enjoyed an Awesome anniversary dinner. Tenderloin was cooked to perfection. Preston did an excellent job serving us. My wife loved her salmon. Highly recommended giving Silver Fox an opportunity to serve you. Not cheap but great food and service!

We were seated promptly when the last of my party of 5 arrived. However after waiting for 15 minutes and having NOBODY come to the table, I got up and told the hostess that nobody had even said hello. She brought some bread to the table and said that our waiter would be right with us. At 35 minutes after being seated, our waiter arrived without apology to announce he was ready to provide service. I was so upset at this point that I insisted on another wait person as I was in no mood to give this guy a tip of any sort.

Our new waitress was slow to take drink orders, then the wine she said they had, was exhausted.

They were out of prime rib on a Firday Night which 3 of the party had decided on during the 50 minutes from being seated to orders being taken. The manager came over and said they ran out shortly before we were seated. At this time the manager provided some shrimp appetizers in way of compensation.

Food finally arrived at 9:15... this is 50 minutes from being seated, to ordering and another 55 minutes after ordering... yes, 1:45 from being seated.

The food was alright. My "medium" Bone-In Filet was rare while the other entree's seem to have been cooked correctly. All party members remarked at how their food was overly salted.

The manager again attempted to make sure the party was satisfied by providing some complementary deserts.

The manager was really the only positive part of the experience. It is only through his efforts that will I consider ever going back.

Wasn't impressed. It's no 5-star. Dropped near $100 for a dinner for 2. The top of the soup was cold and the bottom very hot, the lobster was so expensive but I've had much better and found it not worth the price (cook your own better). After telling the waiter I was a bit displeased with the quality of the meal, he offered a free dessert which we tried but only ate a few bites because that was bad too. Maybe they had a bad day but I was dissatisfied for the price.
Plus the cones they put in EVERY ONE of their parking spots is very annoying forcing you to park at SmashBurger so you don't have to pay for valet. It's quite odd and distasteful. Not worth the time or money.

Attended a Christmas party so didn't eat but would like to come back for dinner! Their red "house wine" left much to be desired.

First impression was actually a very good one. Went to the bar for drinks prior to being seated in dining room. Bartenders were VERY friendly and mixed a great martini as well. This was indeed the highlight of the night. Probably should have had a couple drinks in bar and went elsewhere. Moved to the dining room which had a decent ambiance. Started by ordering a bottle of wine, but it took an unusually long time to arrive back at table. For an appetizer we ordered the tuna tartare which was ok, but lacking in flavor. Wife ordered the lobster bisque soup. Probably the worst lobster bisque either of us have ever tasted, having the consistency of water. For our entree we both had steaks. My filet was slightly over cooked, but not enough to bother sending back. It was, however, a sodium bomb! Could only eat about half due to the amount of salt. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good, snap peas...meh, but we also added creamed spinach. Was nice to see it was fresh spinach and not frozen, but the cream had the same consistency as the soup...water. However, it sure wasn t short on sodium either. Pretty much a common trend here, salt, salt and more salt. We really tried to like this place, but no way we will ever be going back. Might possibly stop for a drink in the bar, but nothing beyond that.

Fantastic birthday dinner after a long day of travel... I try to hit this restaurant when I am in Fort Worth.

Took my mother here for their Mother's Day dinner, food was delicious, atmosphere was great, and they gave her a rose as we left. Service was great.

This place is a 4.5 in my book. A great steak place close to TCU campus. Convenient since we had two freshmen. Felt safe with all the Covid precautions. The place is late 90's clubby feel. Not old school, not hill country or new steakhouse, it's somewhere in-between. Welcoming with knowledgeable servers. Presentation was on point. We had our own little room for a party of 6 that could accommodate 8. The steak were fantastic as well as the sides. See pictures. Definitely recommend a visit here. I'll leave some of the surprises for your visit.

The food here is some of the best i've ever tasted, especially the Creamed Spinach. The service is top-notch definitely the place to go for special occasions.

We went there for Valentine's Day and enjoyed a nice dinner. The service and food quality was pretty good. Not of the same quality as a Del Frisco's or Grace, but pretty good.

Went to this place on Veterans day and enjoyed a wonderful 22 oz. Delmonico steak. It was delicious. So flavorful, so juicy. Beautifully romantic atmosphere plus very friendly bartenders.

The place is awesome but with Conner and Matt behind the bar its tremendous.

I found the food to be extremely overpriced for the quality. The service was mediocre and the atmosphere was tacky. I would have rather spent my evening and money at Del Frisco's, Ruth Chris or the Capital Grille.

We went to Silver Fox on Oct 31, my birthday. Our server was Sean. We couldn't have ask for anyone more efficient. The appetizer, calamari was wonderful, and one easily shared unless you are extremely hungry. We also ordered the dinner for two. Steaks were cooked to our liking. Overall it was a restaurant we would definitely return to!

There s so many great things I can say about this restaurant, but I ll keep it short... The service is AMAZING. My husband & I are always treated like royalty by the staff when we go. & the food.... my god the food tastes like heaven lol. This has very easily become our favorite place - just in general Ask for David, he s the world greatest proprietor & he must be protected at all costs lol

Pleasantly surprised by my dining experience here. Was expecting a mid level steak and instead got a wonderfully cooked bone in filet. It ll never beat sous vide at home, but I ll take this if I have to.

I have been there many times and it's still one of the best steakhouses in Fort Worth

Limited menu and overpriced.
I ordered the salmon dinner and the waiter asked me if I wanted a soup or a salad. I thought it was a part of the dinner so I ordered a soup. Found out later I was charged for the soup!

5 stars for the food. 5 stars for the service. 3 stars for the price .

Wow! I took my wife here for her birthday. I could not have chose a better place. Silver Fox has the best steak I have ever had, and I've been to a lot of steak house's. The staff was super friendly the timing was perfect and again the steak and sides were on point. It is on the higher end of the pricing scale but worth every penny. I recommend this place to everyone.

Most excellent place. We were celebrating a birthday and were extremely pleased with the service. Management staff, Richard, helped make it extra special for us. We sat, ate way to much food that was just perfect talked and were never made to feel rushed. Overall an excellent experience.

Went to your restaurant this weekend with some friends. This was our second choice, The Keg was our first, but they were booked solid. I called and y'all were able to sit a party of 7 in 10 minutes, on a Saturday night at 7:15pm. That's awesome. Upon arrival, we were greeted and our table was ready. That is about where the awesomeness ended. After being seated it took our waitress, Jaycee, 15 minutes to come to our table and greet us. I would be OK with that but she only had a two top and a bar assist...from what I could tell. After greeting us and taking our drink order, it took another 10 minutes to get our drinks, and upon arrival of our drinks, I ordered two appetizers, the Shrimp Cocktail and the Seafood Sampler. 20 minutes pass and we get two loafs of complimentary bread, which were devoured immediately by our party. It took the appetizers another 10 minutes to come to the table. Both appetizers were delicious, full of flavor, a little small for the price but I still enjoyed it non-the-less. IF the establishment was slammed, I could understand, but y'all were not. There were plenty of service in the main dining and there were empty tables and booths. If Jaycee needed help, she could have gotten it. After the appetizers came out, we stated we were ready to submit our order, Jaycee stated she needed to get a pen and paper from the bar to take the order and I felt that I needed to request from her that she return promptly from retrieving the pen and paper and not terry along her way, due to the so far horrible service we were getting. Although requested, it did not help. Jaycee was not seen for about 8 minutes...and we were sitting "at the bar". Fine. After ordering our food, two scotches and 35 minutes later, our food arrived. Now, let me tell you. I am a foodie. I love food. I love steak. I had your 16oz Prime Rib, medium rare. That steak was divine. Cooked perfectly, seasons well, served with the appropriate amount of mashed potatoes and snap peas...if it would have been appropriate, i would have licked my bowl clean. No complaints from me on the kitchen. With that said, I could have been so hungry from having to wait soooo long for any food...from the complimentary bread, to the ordered appetizers to the food to the table.... I could have been so hungry a grilled flip flop would have been great. After everyone was done, which most of us loved the food, one in our party complained that her burger was not done enough, but she still ate 80% of it, so she really did not have a legitimate complaint if you ask me, it came time for the bill. I picked it up as a Birthday/Christmas present to the table. Now, I have eaten at several great steak houses. Pappa Bros in Dallas, Rough Creek in Glen Rose, Eddie V's in Fort Worth... like i said, I like food... but for 4 benjamins you would think the service would have been a little more spot on for that price.... in the midst of a remodel or not, I am a paying customer and would expect to be treated as such. At this time, I will not be giving any of my friends a recommendation to visit your establishment. Great food and piss poor service means I need to find somewhere else to eat and spend my money. just my .02

This place is beautiful and cozy. The food was amazing. The filet mignon cooked to perfection (medium). The drinks are also delicious and the wine list is excellent. Service is great. The servers are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Delmonico was perfection. Ceaser salad and wedge salads were also delicious!

Fantastic! Service was prompt, timely, and friendly. I made a reservation via OpenTable and worked perfectly. The Calamari was the best I have ever had and I went for the Surf and Turf special with an 8oz Filet not the standard 6 (paid extra but well worth it). Mac N Cheese was swapped for the peas. You can't go wrong with that or the corn on the cob cream of corn. I will say this was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The Steak was tender, cooked to perfection, and melted in my mouth with flavor. The 6oz cold water lobster tail was hearty and sweet cooked perfectly (not rubber over cooked). I grew up, lived, worked, and hope to retire in Fort Worth, and I have to say I have missed this jewel on University Dr. Down the road from TCU and The Fort Worth Zoo so many time, this made it well worth the wait.

Preston was our waiter and he helped us pick out some of the best items on the menu. Great drinks and great steaks. Highly recommended.

Silver Fox you have changed a bit..maybe different chef ...been eating here 20 years when ever in town and I feel hamburger was not worth the $20.

Food was OK but not worth the premium price. Service was pretty bad. We had a party of 8 and it wasn't very crowded but had to ask repeatedly for a wine refills.

Please tell me why we get placed at a tiny table next to the noisy bar when our reservation was placed two weeks ago.

We walked into Silver Fox not knowing what to expect. The ambiance was lovely, our meal was delicious and Sean our server made sure our overall experience was great. Although on the pricier side, I d save Silver Fox for very special occasions.

Best steak and atmosphere. Fun place with cowboys and business men enjoying dinner and conversation.

The food was incredible. From the shrimp cocktail all the way to the cheesecake. I wish that they would ask men to take off their caps/hats as this is a nice atmosphere and expensive enough to be much nicer than casual attire. Hats are not appropriate. Also, our waiter didn't keep a fast enough pace and we ended up late for our symphony. The food however, was very good. We will be back.

Decent steaks but overpriced for what you get, in my opinion. The wine is all very expensive. The service is a bit slow for the price point. I think that you get more value and the same or better quality from some of the other high end steak restaurants.

The food was great, the calamari was the best I ve ever had. The service was also good. Overall every part of the dining experience was excellent.

*edit - had the delmonico prime ribeye on a subsequent visit. Absolute best steak I ve had in recent memory. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful and very tender.

**edit 2 - have now been here 10 or so times and this restaurant continues to be exceptional. I ve to been to countless top tier steakhouses and this is without a doubt the best. The food is always perfect, but it s the consistency and service that set the silver fox apart.

Last week was the first time we visited this good restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the exceptional dishes and booze and with the friendly payment. We will surely come back again.

My wife and I had our anniversary today so we decide to make a reservation for 7:30 at Silver Fox. We arrived at 7:30 but were told they did not have a table available. They told us we could wait at the bar. We went over and had a glass of wine, and 40 minutes later were finally told a table was available. When we were seated the hostess did not give us a wine list, so we waited another 10 minutes before a waitress came by to say hello for the first time. We asked for a wine list, she dropped it off, but then disappeared again for another 10 minutes. We still had not even ordered wine and we've been in the restaurant for over an hour past our reservation time. We decided to get up and leave, but I wanted to let the manager know why we were leaving. After all, we were about to drop a couple hundred dollars on steak and wine. I told him we were going somewhere else that would provide a little better service. His simple answer was, "OK". He seemed very put off that I even let him know. We live just up University Drive, but will never step foot in that place again. We wasted over an hour and they weren't even busy. Amateur hour.

I wanted so much to give this place 5 stars. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and was excited to try this place out. It was our first time eating here. The food was amazing but our service from our waiter wasnt the best, unfortunately. When we sat down, it took a while for someone to take our drink order. We were not offered any complimentary bread, we had to ask for it. I had a glass of wine and when I finished, I was never asked if I wanted another glass? Our waiter only checked on us one time. However, the two couples that were sat behind us were offered drinks, bread and etc. They were not overwhelmingly busy either. I dont know maybe it was just bad timing.
