so NOT worth its weight in "gold" looking for luxury .....i highly recommend mahblashwer meridien resort for great workmanship very good price point forest views and an insane not to be missed breakfast and room ! hilton rooms were so boring looking. i think only the views were worthwile so you could probably drop in for lunch? but to pay 17k with taxes and breakfast another 3750 which totalled 20k a night for a boring with bare minium room things. the road to this property is pretty nasty , meridien mahby has a much better road n wower views ! like hilton is a complete and utter waste of money. the staff at the entrance look like zombies of the next apocalypse.

Been here in last week in May, as part of team event.
It is a 300 Acre hill top with cottages and event centers spread across.
Facilty was very good. I had the forest villa - was a splendid experience, cut away from lights and sounds of busy life and made closer to nature.
I could see the stars, hear cries of insects and in the morning trail, could see some rabbits, deers, wild hens and peacock.
Food was not up to Hilton standards. I will give 3.8.
Rooms were good and well maintained, but lacked some basic toiletries, which arrived on request.
Staff was courteous.
The place would be better during monsson / winter.
Overall my experience was very good :)
Thanks to the facilty and management / staff.
** I saw a lot of plastic bottle wastes being dumped in some parts of the hill.

Hillton : Nice Resort located in 320 Acers of land , green every where , clean air and good luxury.
It has all cottage accommodation , Spa , few restaurant , bars , pool and adventure activity.
but need a little more manicure & maintenance . The main restaurant Terrazzo and the valley bar are bit small in comparison to the hotel capacity, food need to be geared up. over all a great experience to stay in a property like this.

I was here with my family for a 3 night trip, this was my second visit. Away from the crowd of Lonavala. Luxury at it best. We stayed in Dharana villa which comes with private swimming pool. Expensive but worth the money. Enjoyed it more as it was raining. Food and service awesome. We chose Ala carte instead of of buffet meals. Chef Kamal and Sharma Ji were awesome. Room service and house keeping little sloppy which I think given the area of the resort you have to bear it. Mountain bistro restaurant over the hill top serves Italian cuisine, view is amazing but we didn't like the food. They promote healthy living hence no deep fried food or white flour or white sugar. They promote multi grain. Enjoyed every moment. Roads were better this time. Last patch of about 17 kms takes an hour.

As its gaining popularity , they are forgetting about their customers. We had requested Hilton staff to accommodate our request for postponing the booking . They denied it. We have made this request 72 hours before the check in and their only response is ask your agent to talk to us ,only so that they can say no to him. Horrible experience and lost my money on the booking. I had even requested for a booking on a weekday but they are just very reluctant.

Not a worth of your valuable money.they says 5 star hotel but its not even 3 star.only large spread out area doesn't make hotel 5 star. Hotel staff is very arrogant. 5 star hotel staff always have manners,Hilton's don't. You will feel why I m spending lots of money here. Service is very slow. For every little task, you have to wait for 30 min minimum. Food is not good. Lonavala have far better options than this.

It's a 5 Star Resort with all the amenities at such a forest location and Vila is quite big.Only issue is that Flooring is not good it just uses stone flooring at least good quality of wooden/stone flooring must be there.

Nice hotel away from city in the lap of nature if you are looking for calm place and love nature this is the right place for you. They have luxury rooms and also great service. Only concern is road from lonaval Atvan to hotel approx 13 km is horrible. Hotel team need to talk to local authorities to fix the problem.1 star given less for the bad road.

A perfect place for retreat. Everything from check in to check out was great. Other than the pricing (which is obvious) I found the property a great place to spend time. I liked the pool most.

A picturesque route with plenty signages near the Western Ghats led us to the Hilton.

We were warmy welcomed with refreshing healthy drinks and a dedicated front desk member Mr. Gursimran who efficiently checked us in and walked us through the details of the property,it's amenities and safety guidelines.

Our Villa was very spacious and had the most scenic landscape to wake up to and the moon lit windows gave us a sound and relaxing sleep in our cozy beds and soft linens. The bath and gentle outdoor shower was an amazing feature. The housekeeper had stocked all supplies those were essential to make our stay most comfortable since we had a baby with us. The Crib was wonderful that made our stay even more merry. Net sliding doors and poster bed with drapes ensured there were no bugs, mosquitoes or insects.
The sit-out area and big windows/ french doors gave us a splendid escape into the nature where birds/ monkey watching was a delight.
Complimentary in-room snacks, fruits , water and a late evening dessert after dinner that was sent to villa were cherry in the cake and highly appreciated.

Commute from various points had been very easy thanks to the excellent drivers of Nano Cars and their immediate availability.

The security personnel like Mr. Gupta was very helpful and pleasant who offered us information of the surroundings, flora and fauna.

A big applause to the F&B team for their prompt service and thoughtfulness. Our needs were hospitably addressed even before we could have asked for. The made to order as well as buffet breakfast here was exceptionally loaded with fresh ingredients and flavor. All meals served had an array of continental and Indian dishes on the menu.
We thoroughly enjoyed the dinners with panaromic views and good music.
Our baby was made comfortable in the high chair and offered tasty food as per our requirements at the restaurant as well as in-room dining.

Hiking, swimming, pottery, cooking demo, walking trails, biking and other activities were incredible. We loved the play area and library as it kept our baby playful and joyous.

It was a great pleasure and memorable retreat experience! Thanks to the hotel's well maintained ambiance and very hard working team.
It is highly commendable that everyone you interact with here is always wearing a smile, friendly, helpful and they all have a great memory, who will make your stay hassle-free and t CVake great care of you.

Very grateful to you all!

Absolutely breathtakingly lovely. Great concept. Great views. Excellent villas very well designed and maintained. Food quality excellent although service is somewhat challenged.Room service is a disaster due to the distances. Some restaurants/bars have limited menus. Overall expensive but well worth it. Do not miss the hiking and activities

We recently stayed for 2N/3D at the property for which we had booked the Dharana pool villa. We were to celebrate our 20th anniversary there. The property and hospitality was great. Highly recommended.

Worst place to go for. The service is horrible food is very low quality as per their high prices . The staff is dumb they are not courteous at all and this is the first hotel I have visited where the staff will say no to everything u ask for. Biggest mistake to have booked it for anniversary.

Beautiful location, lovely rooms, and great service. It's a huge 250+ acre property so be ready to walk quite a bit. But it's not a problem because it's a beautiful place to actually walk, cycle, and being active. There are tonnes of activities organized by the resort, so you will be never be bored. If you don't want to, it's fine too. There are multiple nano cars available to drive you around the property. I was surprised by the good quality and tasting food. I hate 5 star buffets in general, but was pleasantly surprised by the food here. The chef's use fresh produce and also grow organic veggies on the property ( in the wild - how cool is that). I was happy to see the large range of salads that they have . Was loving the greens in every meal. The service is excellent. This place is worth the buck you pay.

It used to be much better. Although the property is undeniably beautiful to another extent for Yoga and Nature lovers. Their services have slowed down a tad bit due to the rush of Sahara Aamby valley closing recently. The new staff is not yet fully trained but they'll get there. I'd still come here but hopefully it improves from now on even more. Worth a visit for couples looking for an elite detox time.

Hilton Estates & Retreat, Shikun: A luxury amidst nature.
Location: about 1.5 hrs from Chandani Chowk, Pune, via Paud - Hadashi - Kolwan
Nearby things to do: Tung and Ti kona forts, Chinmay mission ashram, Boating in lake, and many more.
Services & facilities: Hilton Shilimb resort is spread across about 350 acres, so the villas, restaurants, and other facilities are quite far. Hotel provides nano cars with drivers for free to go places inside. They have about 20 cars. You have to wait 15-20 min once you requested car till it arrives. For a small family this may be convenient but for a group of 25 and more, with time bound activities, it's a hassle.
Rooms / Villas: They have different series (2-6) villas which provide different facilities. Rooms are very big, along with terraces. Many have direct valley view from bed.
Cost: Very costly, check sample laundry rate card
Food: few items were average but most were above average.
Other: Also has facilities for having meetings and outdoor activities. You can do rice transplantation, walk within a stream or team building.
Overall: if you can afford to spend 20000 per day, go for it.

Refreshing beautiful location but in an industry like hospitality where customer experience is everything Hilton failed big time. I went there for the weekend and from check in to check out everything we requested for either reached us late or we didn t get it at all.

The property is in a nice location and rooms are nice and even the staff tried their best but I think the system needs improvement. It s really messed up- the staff is not trained and has no idea what s going on. There was only tea and kettle in the room no coffee no sugar no cups. They talk a lot about the activities they have but no activity schedule in the room I wanted to do so much and I had planned so much but couldn t do anything because I never got the activity planner or the schedule. Check in took an hour and bags took 3 hours to reach my room. Requested for a technician as there was no hot water in the taps and after multiple follow ups and 2 hours of waiting time I just took a shower with cold water and checked out. Pretty much had to follow up for everything at least 3 times.

I m usually not the one to write reviews or something like this but I feel the higher authorities really need to do something and have better management.

If that was taken care of, this place could easily pass for a good weekend getaway:)

The road to hotel which is 9km from Ambey valley is just so pathetic you will loose all interest to visit the place. The creepy animals ruins whole experience of staying in a 5 star. Their concept is really nice but seem to have gone somewhat out of convenience. Service and all is good. Expensive as it should be.

Not a family place at all. No activities, small kids play area - also closes at 6, kids not allowed in many places, most of the activities they mention do not happen, very small family restaurant.... Very slow service.. came for few days but we cannot stay more than one day with family.... was really disappointed.. and it is so far you cannot go out as well... And indoor games closes at 6 pm..

I would really run short of words if I describe how beautiful and huge this property is but at the same time if we talk about speed of service then it's a big let down.

There are lot of activities to do in this wellness resort like meditation, yoga, spa, nature walks, etc. But for me the most special would be the infinity swimming pool, one the largest pool I have seen in a resort. Also the restaurant besides the pool serves amazing pizza and coffee.

Food is another highlight of this place. Being a wellness resort it has no maida or white flour in their menu and neither any fried things are there but still what all they give is delicious.

Rooms are big, comfortable and secluded. Washroom is quite huge and also has a open air shower.

The biggest let down for me was the room service, because of the size of the resort it takes a lot of time for even minute things, food once ordered will reach your room in not less than an hour.
But on the flip side, staff is very efficient, cooperative and helpful.

Also they have Tata Nano cars to commute in the resort, should also keep in mind that it takes 5-10 minutes for the car to reach you so call for it well in advance.

Overall it's a quite weekend getaway, far from the city and right into the lap of nature.

The place is huuuuge and I mean crazy huge (300+ acres). The houses are aesthetically quite good, but have ridiculous neglect of detail. The one I stayed in for example didn't have bolts on the bathroom. This is okay for honeymooning couples I guess but we were there for a conference. Also the Tata Nanos they use for internal transport are in pathetic condition. Just doesn't feel premium. I wouldn't pay 15k+ to stay here, there are better options.

I gifted a weekend to my parents on the occasion of my mom's birthday. I am based in the US and my parents live in Mumbai. I called Hilton Shillim to find out the best rates and I spoke with Mandeep and Himanshu on 2 separate occasions. I was very happy with the level of professionalism and warmth these gentlemen exuded. Himanshu is the Manager at this location and he has amazing interpersonal skills. He was very helpful and assured me that my parents would be taken care off.
Himanshu called my father to confirm the arrangements and made sure they received a warm welcome. They were received by Mayank and he had everything ready - the checkin process was a breeze. My parents had a great time with some of the most amazingly friendly staff. At the restaurant (Terrazzo), they were greeted by Vinod and the hospitality was astonishing.
I just want to thank all these folks for taking such great care of my parents and the next time I visit India, I can't wait to visit Hilton Shillim.
Thank you Hilton and thank you Himanshu, Mandeep, Mayank, and Vinod.

Very gud ambience, clean & pure green environment, convenience of travel by nano car within the estate, food can be better, access road is in very bad shape, road from lonavala to Hilton is an amazing experience to drive.

Brilliant place and makes for a fantastic vacation. This all-villa resort is simply magnificent all across. Plenty of activities for kids and adults alike, a brilliant spa, a fantastic pool, six restaurants in-house (with one of them serving organic food made ONLY made from house grown plants), a very helpful and ever smiling staff... The list is long... Well worth the extra money you spend. I have stayed at a couple of great resorts at Mauritius, Maldives and Bali, and this one comes very, very close - in fact even betters them in some respects. Beautiful resort!

Hilton at Shillim is a beautiful property offering great views, cozy private villas. The staff is very welcoming helping you at every step you need, offering personal experiences in every way possible. The food offered is great, can be expensive but worth the taste and experience. I got a free upgrade for the room which was great. Rajnish our server at the restaurant helped us with detox drink to help my wife with a bad throat, which was very pleasant. Great place great experience great staff. A must visit place!!

The closest to heaven....
This place is by far the most beautiful resort I've been to. Of course it's a bit expensive but believe me it's worth every penny
The rooms are spacious and cozy with bathrooms as big as the rooms .
The staff is sooooo polite u would be amazed. Everything is at the click of a button.
There's an infinity pool and the river walk(during the rains) is a must do

The yoga in the dome is a one of its kind experience & while the restaurants are a bit expensive u will completely enjoy the food

A complete must visit (already been there thrice in 3 years)

Hilton Shillim is our go to destination for quick breaks. Close to Mumbai. 5 star propertyZ nestled in pawna, dense forest. Each villa feels private and personal. Total quiet and the only music to your ears is the cricket. Nice food, lovely staff. Enjoy this place.

Reaching the property is quite boring, specially some 10-12 kms drive in non monsoon season.
But, amidst nature lies the luxury.
Great place to spend time in solidarity. The property is spread in roughly 300 acres of terrain, with nano car for internal commute. Villa's are very spacious and luxurious too. Trails are beautiful. Lot of places for n number of activities. Good plane for team outbound too.
Foods served here are delectable, staffs are congenial too.
You can see clear and starry sky at night, star gazing is also one of their inbound activity.

To summarize it is a highly recommended property.
