Went to celebrate my Dad's Birthday over the weekend - Since he is a Senior Citizen requested a room within walking distance of the Valley Bar/Buffet place. This was my 2nd visit to the resort this year - At Check-In the customer service rep acknowledged my status with Hilton. The move to the room was quick this time compared to May 2019 - Nano came quickly, Had the Dinner Buffet - a bit pricey for $30 USD and variety offered. This place is ~2 hour ride from Karve Nagar via Paud Road - Be prepared for a bumpy ride as the roads are in terrible shape. The Location of the resort is spectacular with great views and lots of activities to do. A day trip is TOO SHORT - would recommend at least 3 consecutive days to really enjoy the place
Did some laps in the Infinity pool around 9:00 am - water temperature was reasonable (last week of December) and pool was Empty!
There is no "Diamond Lounge" but they serve snacks/drinks to HHonors members with status in the Valley Bar
Enjoyed the stay !

Rated 5 star online but very bad services, location 25 kms from Lonavala, and road to the facility was very bad. Bad food, all of my family fell sick after the dinner. Since the property is widely spread 350 acres of land it takes hours to wait for the nano cars to go anywhere. 99 cottages with only 20 nano cars, lomg waiting hours.

Beautiful place. Highly recommend it. Had visited in first week of September with my kids. We loved the stream walks. And the nature there.... it s like a private forest to you. Everything is excessively priced for sure. But still the experience is unparalleled.. they drive you around in nanos... which is fun. Navnath one of the drivers was very kind and proactive is guiding us.

Can t think of a more perfectly clean and sanitised place than Hilton Shillim. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Food was delicious. Stay was very comfortable. We had two villas- pool villa and valley view villa. Both were fantastic in terms of services.

Such natural beauty in one place! It is breathtakingly simple and beautiful. Best for people who are looking for relaxation and rest, of greeneries and fresh air. I am not a foodie and I thrive on meats really so the selection is limited for me but the freshness of what's on the table is delectable and the fruits are from their farms.
We saw monkeys playing on our rooftop and on the trees surrounding our villa!
I tried making a tiny earthen pot as an activity. Earthly. Hehehe.

Amazingly created Wellness & Spa Resort tucked between the Sahyadri hills. The property is expansive with multiple restaurants and and activities to keep everyone actively busy. The Villa's are laid out in serene privacy directly connected to the surrounding forests. Oh, and the entire staff at this property will set a benchmark of sorts. Each & every member the staff here makes you feel so unbelievably warm and satisfied.

Great retreat for wellness although expencive but May help you to find yourself.
The approach is little difficult with the last leg of 12 Kms a single and torturous road. Within the resort every thing looks laid back.

Ok so 16-17 kms drive from this retreat is where lonavala is. The bhusi dam area. Choose to come here to be and feel "serene". Zero noise pollution of man made stuff. And full on noise of god made stuff. Out here you are amidst the deccan plateau. A good 1000mtrs abv mean sea level. And yes chef kadam will ensure that the food u eat out here is gluten free & full of wellness for sure...

I am a travel blogger and this was the Worst hotel I have ever been. The carpets in my room very dirty. The room stinked. There were no green tea or toiletries in the hotel. The staff was very very bad with no manners what so ever. I had to call 3 times minimum at the reception to just ask for anything because they did nt bulge at all. This is not more than a 2 star resort.

The staff is very accommodating but the property itself is not in the best shape
We booked a King Forest Villa for my mom's birthday. Stones we're falling out of the AC as a rat had gotten inside it. The staff offered us an upgrade to a villa with a private pool to make up the inconvenience. This spa pool villa was much nicer and very spacious.
As for the food, the chefs are really friendly and accommodate all your requests, however as for taste, I was not really impressed. The standard is not comparable to what you be get if you stayed at a Taj property. Nothing was bad but nothing was mind blowing either. However the staff did make a special effort and had prepared gluten free lemon tarts as I had mentioned I was following a gluten free diet.
I think the main concentration is on health and wellness and relaxation, it is not on luxury as much.
All in all, we found it a bit remote and not worth the price.

A resort nestled in a verdant corner of the Sahyadri close to the Pawana reservoir backwaters. Hilton Shillim(b) will not disappoint those who are looking for a quiet getaway from the city and are oriented towards a holistic wellness focus. The property is spread over 320 acres... Although the accessibility quotient makes all corners easily reachable. The grounds are highly inviting to spread your mat and meditate without botheration. The Spa facilities are top notch and with experienced masseurs.
What we liked:
1. Excellent property maintenance and attention to detail.
2. Good internal traffic management and promotion towards wellness.
3. Helpful and engaging staff.
4. Very accommodating to your requirements.
5. Food.
What can be better:
1. Although a primary adult destination, they have significant work to do to engage children in the age group of 8-12. This set invariably travels with their parents and in house activities are more toddlerish. A more competitive service is provided by the Starwood group at their Le Meridian property in Mahabaleshwar.
2. The main Pool area needs fair bit of work to ensure better privacy for guests and not become a photo op location for visitors to the Mountain Bar. Changing rooms can only be accessed after crossing the resto.
Overall a great location to de stress and detox. Forget your phones and don't bother about that TV in your Villa. It probably wouldn't work. And that's a good thing.

The property is unlike any other in India. The villas are well placed, to allow each occupant to enjoy nature to the fullest while maintaining privacy. The pool is in the villa is perfect size for recreation, I personally love the infinity pool at the Mountain Bistro. Food at all the restaurants is phenomenal, the Green Table food reiterates the fact that healthy organic food can taste great. Spend a couple of hours at the tea house, walk around the organic farm, find your calm in the meditation cave, enjoy nature trails, you can literally spend a whole week here & not run out of activities. The spa is the the brilliant. The staff is very courteous, very helpful & wi go out if their way to make you feel at home.

I cant give less than one star my bad luck very bad experience very poor service insufficient staff we wasted half day waiting for pick up cars. Simply imprisoned into our rooms with muddy water in bathrooms. Place never visit again. Simply hopeless.

It was truly a relaxing and refreshing experience. Amongst the serenity of the forest with very warm and prompt staff and service with very good quality of food right from the organic garden. Looking forward to visiting it again. The only hitch is their pool fascilities which is not up to the mark with uncomfortable bathrooms. They can also improve on their variety of cusine .
