Location and views 10/10 (how can such a gorgeous place be so close to Bombay!!). Staff 10/10 (so kind, so thoughtful). Food and food choices 8/10. Value for money 7/10. We had a wonderful weekend, and would probably go again if we manage to find a discounted deal.

Our stay at the Hilton Shillim was amazing. The estate is located in a breathtaking environment. In combination with the different classes the hotel offers, we found a nice balance between winding down and being active. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We can recommend anyone considering a stay at the Hilton Shillim to come to this beautiful place.

This place is awesome and beautiful. If you want to be alone with nature this is the place to be peaceful and serene. I would h have given 5 star but I was very very disappointed with their New year EVe gala night it was one of the worst ever NYE celebration I have ever witnessed. I'm not sure who was the genius who organized it. They charged $ 121 approximately and made everyone sit in cold freezing lawn and they had their own staff sitting in nice cozy place cold food,cold entertainment total disappointing and disastrous. A total let down.

We checked in at 6 don't know the time roughly around that time staff was gr8 food was good but the services given by them were pathetic could not believe a brand such as Hilton would have such poor services it literally took 2 hours for them to provide 2 sandwiches which were not even worth what they were charging but some how we got our sandwiches after two hours and then we ordered some glasses and ice bucket which again took an hour to come Is this the service what Hilton provides after paying a huge amount for the villa car service during checkout again took another 1 hour to come THOUGH THE BILLING WAS DONE QUICKLY terrible to even know this is the way they treat their guest and would not suggest it to any one to use this property cause it's not worth even half the amount what u pay for the villas

A five star hotel and spa located near pavna dam in pavna nagar, which is surrounded by Western ghats and it's thick jungles. Beautiful place for holidays and relaxation. Great organic food because they have their own herb and vegetables garden. The total area of the hotel is around 310 acars.
Had a wonderful time, except for a couple of things. Not very handicap friendly, too expensive, and even though they are a wellness centre, they should have more options in restaurants catering to difft cuisines, as not everyone goes with detoxifying in mind. We surely didn't know what to expect as it was our 1st time. Being a typical Indian, one's palette craves for simple but tasty (in terms of spices) food. Here they adhere to the ayurveda principles, and it might not be something that everyone appreciates. The staff is very helpful and friendly. A definite must go!

We wanted to take rest of this bad road. Thanks to the guard who informed 3500 for restaurant visist. While we mentioned tea and coffee. We continued our trip without further look into the menu.

May 27-29: What an amazing property this is! Spread over a huge amount of land, Hilton has made it so perfect. The property is 1 hour drive from main Lonavala. The last 10 km are really bad. Cars are to be left at the reception and they have a fleet of Tata Nano cars to take you around.
We got upgraded from the Valley View to Forest View cottages. After winding through the road to reach the room, we were wowed again by the rooms. Each of the rooms are like own property. You take multiple steps to reach the room from the road. The room is huge with a big balcony and a huge bathroom with multiple areas. The room has a big bed with chairs for watching television. The balcony is also pretty big with a view so superb that you may just want to grab a drink and not go anywhere - the western ghats in all its glory - amazing. Coming to the bathroom, there are 3 areas - the basins and the toilet, then the shower area along with the tub and an open shower area. And there is complete privacy wherever you are in the villa. And the silence is so welcome.
One thing to keep in mind is that you need to call and ask for the car to take you from one place to another - which takes anything between 5 to 10 mins though they say 15 mins is the wait time. The driving staff is courteous and helpful.
They have Terazzo which is the buffet place and the main place for food. Mountain Bistro & Bar is open air and next to the pool and has some amazing views. Valley Bar is a closed bar again with some amazing views.
The spa is well maintained and we enjoyed our spa session. This is a huge place with small villas next to each other serving as spa rooms.
The pool is an infinity pool with superb views of the ghats. There is no deep pool with max depth of 4 feet.
We had an amazing stay and the staff arranged a cake for my wife as it was her birthday on one of the days. Amazing views, superb location, lovely food and helpful staff.

The use of the topology of the estate is amazing! They have theirt own cars for transport which is really great but the time lag between calling a cab and then siting in one, is reallllly long. On the other hand awesome food, spacious and luxurious rooms, beautifull views. Reasonably fast wifi!

Its a large property where it takes almost 10 mins to walk from one point to another. They also assist you with car to move from one place to other or you can cycle which are available at various points. When you are here you will actually feel like living in jungle with diverse flora and fona.

Location accessibility is a problem but manageable. Food is strictly ok. Nothing much to do inside but relax. The villas are great but again not too much to around as the place is far away from anything. Getting out is a hassle.

Truly amazing! A best combo of nature & luxury at One place. Come here for complete relaxation & spend atleast 2 days only to enjoy hotel amenities as well as nature. Nature walk through the property is must do, which houses waterfalls & view points in itself. Driving into the property through clouds itself is an experience & must do in monsoon. Food is also delicious, especially breakfast. Only weak point is roads leading to the hotel, which is in bad condition & takes longer time to reach.
I was gifted one night stay by my children for 36th wedding anniversary. It was a fantastic experience. Luxury villa with personal swimming pool. Number of activities. Excellent food. Fantastic breakfast spread. Extremely courteous staff. Very good restaurants. Superb ambience. Worth all the money. Special mention for the guy named Abhishek whom I met while driving from one place to other by nano car. He showed me and explained everything. Also the guy demonstrating star gazing was amazingly knowledgeable. I am sure it will be fantastic during monsoon. Will definitely visit again.
