Bottom line: A clean but only a very average suburban hotel - with a very high rate of $200 per night. My issue is that on arrival we found out we would be charged an additional $12 to park our car - a money-grabbing scam and another example of unnecessary corporate greed. Next thing you know, they will be charging suitcase fees. To get get the parking charges reversed I had to complain, hard - and they reluctantly agreed. But, the Sheraton Needham needs to work much harder for my customer respect. So, please DON'T stay here! For $200 per night, find another suburban hotel which appreciates your business - and which doesn't play money-grabbing games.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. This was nowhere close to being the Sheraton brand that it is supposed to represent. Here are a few things that happened.

First night my grandmother and mother arrived from India and proceeded to check in around midnight. A man named Jacob informed that there were no rooms available. We got frustrated especially since we booked the room well in advance and he proceeded to say there was a leek in several rooms so due to water damage he couldn t allow anyone to stay there. He started arguing with us and saying that it wasn t his fault this happened and that he d transfer us to the Boston Sheraton which was a 30 minute ride. Throughout all of this Jacob was rude, unprofessional, and by far the biggest disgrace to a hotel chain.

The next day we returned as my family was going to remain in Needham as I was graduating from Babson. My mother proceeded to have a conversation with the front desk woman about what had happened and how something needed to be done. She was extremely understanding and let us know that the hotel was simply overbooked the night before which meant that Jacob was lying about the water leak. Anyway she proceeded to bring us the manager who was honestly just slow with everything.

The rooms were average. The breakfast was terrible and there was always a wait which is ridiculous for a hotel where guests should be able to grab their breakfast and leave whenever they pleased.

Save your money and honestly just go to the Hilton which costs the same but had 10x the quality.

4 night business stay.

4 night business stay.

Breakfast starts at 7am, way too late in my mind even for a casual trip. They let you order for delivery to your room starting earlier, but it has tons of fees.

Door of my own bathroom was locked from the inside when I got back on second night.

Overnight Room service didn't get to my room to clean until evenings. Very uncomfortable when you aren't sure if they will have cleaned your room by the time you are done with business for the day.

$436.25 we pay for 1 night and i greatly regretted i couldn't go to sleep because the beds were so hard, we spend $46 dollars at the bar in between means and drinks, the chocolate martini was so strong it was undrinkable, we order the food special 3 for $26 and the only thing the come out right was the sliders everything else was cold.
also they charge $12 for parking and as you know it they try to charge me $15 dollars for breakfast. next time i'll sleep in car.

I am a Platinum member of the Sheraton Hotel/J.W. Marriott chain. I have been here many times over the past 3 years for business and personal stays. This Sheraton is my favorite, The staff is very courteous and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is the best experience you could ever have. The rooms are big and well maintained, super clean, the food is delicious and the bar is friendly and always has a great vibe. I highly recommend the Sheraton Needham Hotel.

We've stayed at several Sheratons recently, and we've never disliked one, nor had a bad experience. This hotel ia lovely, although it's a little louder than most we've been at. The rooms are lovely and more spacious - our a even has a little couch. We have a fridge in our room, which is important.

The rooms were clean, but that was the only thing that recommended this place. The service was awful, especially given the price we were paying for rooms. They charge for parking, and are sneaky about the bottles of water there are two bottles of water next to the bed, one is "complimentary" but they charge for the other one. There was no help with the luggage checking in, and the rooms were really, really far away from the entrance down long, winding halls. It was also an elevator up to the rooms that we were staying in, and getting the cart over the step at the end of the ramp up to the rooms was impossible. The walls are thin, and we could hear everything in the rooms on either side of us. All in all, not a pleasant experience.

Disgusting attitude. We had reservations for a king. We came in at 2.30 to be advised to take a double or wait till 3. We chose the latter. At 3 they still didn't have a king available and tried to shove the double down our throats. The manager admonished my unwillingness with a "courtesy offer" to transfer us on availability. The wedding parties seemingly take higher precedence than other paying customers, some clear discrimination here. The manager lacked even the courtesy to provide us with basic info on the room location, breakfast wifi and other options. The room she provided us stinks of wine.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was pretty helpful. Nice location off the highway and about 20-25 minutes away from Boston. Would've given the hotel a 5 star review but I didn't really like the fact that we had to pay $12 a night for parking. You paid to stay and then they charge you to park in their lot, doesn't make sense. They're not even close to any major traffic or what not. Otherwise than that, beautiful place.

One of the worst Sheraton's I've stayed in, badly in need of some TLC.

The Good: Service was great and all the employees were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, it ends there.

The Bad: The most glaring this is just how dated this place is and the lack of upkeep. My door took serious force to open or close and would not close on it's own (definitely a safety/security issue). My room was hot, humid, and the old box-by-the-window style air conditioner could not maintain a cool temperature. I had it set on high at 64 degrees and the coldest the room ever got was 68 at night. The fitness center is severely lacking compared to most Sheratons (and even most Courtyards to be honest). The water temp in my shower fluctuated the entire time. Lastly, the lounge is subpar when comparing to similar Sheratons or other Marriott/SPG properties. The breakfast options were lacking (no breakfast meat of any kind, just eggs), however I must say that what I did have while there was pretty good quality.

Overall the place could be decent with some investment from Marriott/SPG but as it stands now, you're better off staying at the nearby Marriott or Westin which can be had for a similar price.

Currently staying here for the second time this month because of renevations. I am a student had to print in color. 3 weeks ago I stayed here and the 1 colored printer was broken. This time I had a project due the next day that my grade relied on. So, when i went to the business center again, to my surprise, the printer was broken. I called down to the front desk for service to wait for 45 minutes for the answer that they ordered toner and the printer is broken. I walked down stairs to ask for another color printer and was told to go to staples because the only one was broken. I'm not sure why I would go to the staples across the street when all they need is toner which is a product sold at staples. Currently morbidly upset.... thank you Sheraton.

This hotel is normally quite reasonable. I recieved an upgraded room that was unfortunately quite close to the elevators and below the lounge. quite difficult to sleep with all the noise.
Room otherwise was quite nice, very spacious. Previous rooms were quiet, this was an unpleasant exception.

I have never had to write a bad review! I am not one to complain, nor hard to please, not that they even tried! This experience has been terrible. Worse is that we were brushed off and even walked away from twice! We checked in at around 2 in the morning after driving about 8 hours. When we arrived our room was not what we booked more then a month in advance with a group! We reserved a room with 2 double beds for 3 adults, one being my 16 year old son. They gave us a room with a king bed and a roll away bed, that we had to set up, and only after I asked how 3 adults can sleep in one bed? The front desk was beyond rude and acted as if we were in the wrong for being upset to have a problem. Basically told us it was not his fault and there was nothing he could do, we needed to talk to the manager in the morning. Never noted our complaints and it was like pulling teeth to get any information as to who could/Should resolve the issue. Needless to say we didn't sleep well. When we did go back down in the morning it was again more excuses and not much satisfaction. They told us our room, the original 2 double bed room would be ready in about an hour. So we then had to wait and waste more time to get what should have been our "guaranteed reservation". After everything we were offered breakfast for the next morning? I tried to write a Review through their website link but when I put in my conformation # surprisingly it said "not found" very poor customer service, treat you like your the problem, could go on with more but would like to try to enjoy what I can out of this short stay, fingers crossed!

Staff is friendly and responsive. Renovations are certainly an improvement. Food is OK. Beds kinda suck. Doors to rooms let a LOT of noise through. Lots of banquets and school sports teams stay here so its usually difficult to sleep before 1am. Drinks are outrageously priced. Cheapest beers are $9.

They charge you $12 per night for parking whether you have a vehicle there or not. Yes, this is true. I have tried repeatedly to have the parking charges removed (one $12 charge still remains after a promise from the manager to remove (cannot recall her name) she seemed a bit annoyed at my request. What? Left her a voicemail after charge was still not removed and have yet to hear back. More principal than anything. Terrible.

Hotel was ok. The room was so humid the sheets and clothes in the closet were damp, even with the AC on. If we were staying more than a night we would've either asked for a different room or left.

To be honest I only spent a total of like 8 hours here because I just needed a place to stay after a concert at Gillette Stadium, but it was fine.

The thing that makes me dock a star, however, is that they charge $12 for parking in their garage, which is a walk up and down a hill every time. I've never had to pay for parking at a hotel before.
