Sheraton Tel Aviv is a beautiful hotel fine dining very clean.I have not stayed at the mall but what I did go there for is for some business events two of them this year and both of them were excellent the staff were excellent the presentation and food were very good and the room was good audio visual equipment worked well so overall it was a good experience and the washrooms were clean.

In August of this year, I took members of my family to Israel, we chose to stay at the Sheraton in Tel Aviv as we were travelling with an eight year old who loved to swim in the ocean.

The Sheraton at my request arranged a private tour for us through Bein Harim of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea.

What a complete disaster the trip was and suffice to say we were left after the tour both angry and disappointed.

Our tour guide was a racist, he made several disparaging remarks about the Palestinians, refused to take us into the Muslim quarter in Jerusalem, his criticism of the occupied territories was again directed against his perceived enemy, and at one point he rolled down the window of the car and shouted at youth and seemed to think he was justified because they were Arabs

He drove like a maniac, took money from us to pay for the parking but pocketed it and did not pay the parking. He talked on the phone to his wife and generally spent most of the time in the car checking his phone.

He took us to tourist traps for lunch and shopping and in both places he received kick backs.

At the Dead Sea he disappeared and we spent twenty minutes trying to track him down.

We arrived back at the Sheraton quite late so I waited until the next morning and then laid a complaint with the manager at the Sheraton who agreed that I would not have to pay for the tour. I also discussed the situation with the front desk and I was satisfied that the matter had been dealt with.

When it was time to checkout of the hotel, much to my surprise I had been charged (discounted) for the tour. I refused to pay for my bill unless the charge was removed and agreed to discuss the issue further once I returned home.

Imagine my fury to discover that while I was on the plane, the Sheraton ran through the charge for the disputed tour and did this without my authorization.

I have tried to fight this with American Express but the Sheraton provided paperwork which included a fraudulent copy of my signature. According to American Express, I have to take legal action regarding this matter to prove the signature is not mine and was told to call the police.

I will never stay at a Sheraton again, I also highly recommend that no one ever uses the Bein Harim Tour company. If this review board is anything to go by it pretty apparent that Bein Harim and it's agent the Sheraton Tel Aviv do not care about customer service.

Shame on all of you involved.

UPDATE I stand by my review, the discounted charge was run through on my credit card with out permission or signature ( they do not have chip and pin ) Regardless what management has to say, what they did was unacceptable... Friends ask me about my trip to Israel and ask for recommendations!!! I tell them to steer clear of The Sheraton and Bein Harim!!!

Great hotel with fantastic sea view. Directly across the street from the Tel Aviv promenade with easy access. The service was great. Love the lavish Israeli breakfast. Room was clean and newly renovated.

Picture below is my view from the 17th floor.

Big Scam. They charge so much then no sea view like they claim when you reserve. No microwave no mini fridge!! Cheap. I stay in another Marriott hotel in Tel Aviv and was much cheaper and better service. I asked them to compensate me back for the lie of sea view and they did not do anything and Marriott said we can not do anything. They stole me. Scam Hotel!

As always, an amazing hotel. If I could give 6 stars I would. Staff is always pleasant and goes out of their way to take care of the guests. The views from pretty much every room are amazing and being right on the beach means an early morning or late evening, run or walk on the beach is simple and safe. It is pricey, but do some research. There are good deals depending on the flexibility of travel dates.

Hotel was pretty great. My one star reduction is for two things: Dinner in the Club Lounge is entirely vegetarian, and our room faced south into the neighboring building--they could see us and we could see them.

Was nice but the whole hotel had switched over to heat and I had to leave the window open to cool off. Also the room service seems to like to barge into the rooms. They were knocking as they entered the room.

Great location, right on the beach. Good choice of restaurants in the hotel, with good attentive staff. The whole hotel works to a high standard. Spacious public rooms. Close by there's good shopping, cafes and enjoyable nightlife.

We spent Shabat at the Sheraton Hotel with my family.
The meal was correct but staff and more particulary ANATH who was a profoundly wicked and duplicitous person.

She asked us to leave the Hotel during our meal on Saturday because our baby was crying dueto pains dental instead to offer us help.

I don't recommend !

I will keep you if i will get a refund !

The hotel has seen better years. The rooms are dated and the furniture is worn and chipped. The buffet was ok. Not up to standards compared to other SPG/Marriott properties. The upside is that it has a great view and location. Very easy access to the local area. Unimpressed with the hotel staff. They wouldn't honor my platinum status because my company paid for my room. If I came back on my own time I probably wouldn't stay here. I would try the Renaissance next door.

Fairly dated Sheraton property. Overall it was a fine stay but it was a bit underwhelming even for a Sheraton. Had a very slow check-in experience, waiting over 15m before anyone could get to me. The room was a little worn, air condition only really ran when you were in the room, leaving it musty when returning and not allowing any of our clothing or towels to really dry. It has good beach access and good views of the Mediterranean but didn't make up for the lackluster property.

Great location, rooms always have good layout and furniture (except for the fridge - not very cold and the kind that is stocked and automatically charges you if you move something), fantastic buffet, staff are friendly, etc.

The staff at this hotel are beyond helpful, definitely the feather in the establishment's hat. Nothing was too much of an ask; always polite, smiling and composed. The premises are beautiful, the beds huge and comfortable, the beach nearby simply stunning. Breakfast is ridiculously good. Lots of local produce, tonnes of choice. Yes, they have indulgent choices for the Western palate (even pizza and pasta!), but I cannot recommend the local fish and fruit enough. Access to a gorgeous pool. Well deserved five stars.

If you are visiting Tel Aviv this is the place to stay. Beautiful beachfront hotel on Hayarkon street. Beautiful views of Tel Aviv and the Mediterranean coastline. 30 min walk to Jaffa old port city. Easy to book tours of Jerusalem and other places of interest.

I do not recommend this hotel. The rooms are old and do not look at all like the photos on the site. The terrace is SMALL (a chair for two people because there is no room for two). The breakfast is more or less correct but nothing justifies such a difference between the price and the quality of a hotel which I think has not been renovated in a very very long time.
