The hotel is beautiful. It looks like it is undergoing a major expansion. And they are still able to maintain the level of service I have come to expect from a Sheraton Hotel. The pool and gym are on the 9th floor and the rooms are all Suites. They are big and beautiful. I am an SPG member and I love staying at Sheraton

This was a wonderful stay in a wonderful hotel. I am a longtime Marriott customer and I had never stayed in a Sheraton before but they merged, or something, and I had some points so I decided to try the Sheraton Suites. (Also, it was my birthday). To say my expectations were exceeded is putting it mildly. The lobby is incredible, a real hotel lobby with actual bellhops and a marble floor (I think). I had the warmest welcome ever from Alejandra at the front desk. I had just driven all the way from Tampa and I was exhausted and somewhat crabby and Alejandra was so sweet, she even gave me a drink voucher for my birthday! The room was amazing. I never wanted to leave. I really like to have a suite with a separate bedroom where you can close the door. It gives you an extra layer against any hallway noise which there really wasn't anyway but still. Then I go up to the roof and there is a rooftop pool and whirlpool which I had all to myself! The weather was gorgeous and the pool was delightful. I was going to work out but then I said the heck with this and I went to the bar and had my birthday drink instead. I think the bartender's name was Linda, she was super super nice and she was a really good bartender. Full disclosure, there were some renovations going on so parking was a little dicey. I mean I didn't even know where to put the car to check in but luckily there was a space on the side of the building and Alejandra said there was a garage or something at the back which I never used because I was only there for one day. I can't say enough good things about this property. In the future I will try to stay at more Sheraton Suites properties.

Nice atmosphere, but no valet parking, and parking garage was very small and spaces were narrow. Asked staff about after construction, and they said more of the same. When I commented about having difficulty with distance, they said can it was a healthy brisk walk. Very disappointed.

Lovely rooms. My job booked a room for me for 3 days. Must say the room was gorgeous, very clean and spacious! Wish i could have stayed here last time i came instead of a gross hotel. I will definitely seek out Sheridan again

The Sheraton is a gem. Great upscale hotel conveniently located in Fort Lauderdale. Roughly 25-35 minutes from the ocean. Just far enough to escape the hustle and bustle but close enough to luft/Uber anywhere you'd like to be!
The rooms are nice and up to date, no smart tvs or apps. The only downside is one speed of internet which is throttled at 2.5Mbps... Which is my only reason for 4 stars. I would stay here again without hesitation.

This hotel is nice, however there is a major building project taking place in the property where the old Fashion Mall was. This means noise and construction all around this hotel. I will revisit in a couple of years as I am sure the location will be wonderful once complete.

A great deal for the Sheraton experience. We usually stay in $50 budget motels, but have stayed here a few times to splurge while in town visiting family. I would pay more to stay here. Great service, very clean, extra amenities, well maintained property. Good location too in Ft Lauderdale metro area.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent staff, from Ramos the Valet and Patrick at the front desk. Very clean, spacious rooms where they actually check to be sure all is well and ask if they could be of service.

Very close to the mall, airport and several restaurants.

I would definitely stay at this location again!

Clean and nice rooms pool was clean and warm. They're building and or knocking down stuff around the structures, so there's not many astonishing views to say about the place until it's finished.

Room was nice- all hotel staff was freindly and ver pleasant - restaurant however was different matter- Wait staff was in atentive and to the point of being rude- wanted a $10 tip for a 9.22 bill- ridiculous gave her a $50 for 9.22 got $40 back (all in $10 bills) was told I still ower her 22 cents. where is it and pay up! handed her $10 and had to find her almost 15 mins later to ask for myu change nd she says"well isnt that my tip?!! ridiculous- and she never even cam back after taking order to refill coffee or water or anything... I had to go find her for bill! enough to make me second guess going back to hotel

This hotel is overpriced for what it s really worth. Breakfast is not included in the stay and they manager and the staff are super disrespectful and I wouldn t recommend for someone to stay at the Sheraton Suites.

A comfortable hotel. I was upgraded to a jacuzzi suite which is spacious and feels just like home. The fitness center and pool on the roof are great amenities. A lot of prior comments warn about construction happening near the hotel. Currently, the entire surrounding is demolished and it looks like they re about to break ground on a lot of boutique stores. I didn t hear any noise from this personally, my issue is the maze you need to drive through to get to the hotel parking lot. Everything is wrapped up in tape and caution/detour signs. The main turn in to the property off of University Blvd. is closed so you need to go one further stop down (if coming from Broward). The biggest flaw of the parking lot is the lack of drainage available. It is currently flooded due to the rain, which makes walking back and forth from your call impossible without ruining your shoes. Do not stay here if it s projected to rain beyond the usual Florida showers. I can t imagine what it s like during hurricane season. Parking lot issues aside - this hotel is very pleasant.

The room was recently renovated and clean. Queen bed with sliding doors to separate the living space from the bedroom. There was a pull-out couch, desk, refrigerator and coffee. Separate sink and dressing area from all other spaces. Friendly front desk. The pool is on the roof and was not busy in the evening. Overall a good experience. The closed down, not maintained mall attached is a little disheartening.

It's a shame for the sake of the hotel that it's stuck being attached to an abandoned mall, however that doesn't affect the quality of the hotel at all. It is beautiful and clean inside, and the rooms are very nice.

One of the better hotels in the Plantation area. Suites are well equipped with nice rooms, two bottles of free water, and very large jacuzzi tubs. Free WiFi is available and there is a smallish lounge for frequent travelers with status on 8. The hotel location is somewhat inconvenient right now since the mall which previously was nearby is now fenced off blocking many connecting roads. This makes the hotel rather hard to access.

This hotel has complementary parking and WiFi and is easy to locate. Customer service was nice, but kept telling my room would be available in 10 minutes, but i ended up having waiting 2 hours, while other people received their rooms. I have several complaints regarding the cleanliness of the suite. At first glance, the suite looks clean, however, my lamps and lampshades are dusty, there is mystery goo on the alarm clock, the remotes have gunk on them, the sheets have brown and black stains and the pocket doors don't slide easily.

I stayed 3 days. 2 days paid by my son in law. I paid for the last night. I was told by the front desk my $50.00 for extras would be returned when I checked out as long as no billed was left to pay. I was barely there but to sleep. So now only 35% is being returned to me. I'm a senior and again disappointed I was lied to. Get it in writing for sure. They did give me 10% off senior rate but with the extra going to them for nothing they got their full rate.
Won't be back. Plus with construction going on next door parking is horrible..

Nice large rooms with good amenities. Mostly clean although their was a couple stray hairs in the shower. Good breakfast , nice gym and pool area up top and even a mall near by to kill some time.
