This was a wonderful stay in a wonderful hotel. I am a longtime Marriott customer and I had never stayed in a Sheraton before but they merged, or something, and I had some points so I decided to try the Sheraton Suites. (Also, it was my birthday). To say my expectations were exceeded is putting it mildly. The lobby is incredible, a real hotel lobby with actual bellhops and a marble floor (I think). I had the warmest welcome ever from Alejandra at the front desk. I had just driven all the way from Tampa and I was exhausted and somewhat crabby and Alejandra was so sweet, she even gave me a drink voucher for my birthday! The room was amazing. I never wanted to leave. I really like to have a suite with a separate bedroom where you can close the door. It gives you an extra layer against any hallway noise which there really wasn't anyway but still. Then I go up to the roof and there is a rooftop pool and whirlpool which I had all to myself! The weather was gorgeous and the pool was delightful. I was going to work out but then I said the heck with this and I went to the bar and had my birthday drink instead. I think the bartender's name was Linda, she was super super nice and she was a really good bartender. Full disclosure, there were some renovations going on so parking was a little dicey. I mean I didn't even know where to put the car to check in but luckily there was a space on the side of the building and Alejandra said there was a garage or something at the back which I never used because I was only there for one day. I can't say enough good things about this property. In the future I will try to stay at more Sheraton Suites properties.
