I had never been to the Raleigh Sheraton. It has a very upscale modern feel to it. I arrived early for an evening business event I was attending. I found a very comfortable seating area where I could get some work done while waiting. The organizers of our event had a cash bar set up outside the conference room. The room was large, with a media screen and chairs set up for the 500+ attendees. The staff was very gracious and courteous the entire evening.

I was SO pleased with my stay here. I screwed up the reservation when I scheduled it and didn t realize it until I showed up to check in. I thought the trip was ruined and that I had lost the amount I had prepaid for the room. The manager Tyler not only fixed it, but was so kind and helpful. She showed so much compassion and kindness. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly during our stay. Every time I m in Raleigh this is where I will stay.

It's a nice hotel, people are very friendly. I'm used to having pen and paper in the room, and the one time I needed it, it wasn't there. Also, walls are very thin, but I think that's the norm nowadays

We are in the middle of a three night stay. The hotel location had been phenomenal for walking to local attractions. The room looks great, and the restaurant is fantastic. Unfortunately, the elevators are always a significant wait, and there is no option for taking the stairs, unless you want to climb multiple flights to end up at a locked door or employee only area.

The elevators get stuck and for 15 floors all they have are three elevators so you will be waiting a really long time for it to arrive if the hotel has a full house. The 2nd floor check in escalator going down was not working so when i was waiting 30 minutes for one of the three elevators to go down one floor i ended up walking aroumd the city block to get to the back side of the hotel to get to the first floor. It was pretty misrible

Nickeled and dimed for everything: parking, wifi, etc. Check-in desk was unable to give us directions to the conference that suggested we stay at this Sheraton.
The elevators take forever and are always crowded. It takes 5 minutes of waiting to be packed like sardines.

For the price we paid, we were disappointed.
The rooms were fine. It was obviously remodeled relatively recently, but they didn't care enough to redo the ceiling.
Also the room has a very chemical smell. I'm not sure if it's the old ceiling or a shabby clean up from a smoking resident.

Perfect location for a weekend trip, and the concierge was extremely helpful. I love that they have a text feature--I texted them all kinds of oddball questions and they answered them all (how's traffic going east Monday mornings? Do you sell nail polish remover? Etc etc)

I have a background in hospitality services so I'm familiar to the day to day operations of a hotel and what guests should expect of such services. Our stay was one unexpected thing after another. Upon check in, my reservation was for 2 beds (a total of 4 guests) and they had us in a king room. The Guest Services Rep was confused and asked several times if we had more than 1 reservation. After getting switched to the correct bed type, and after a 4 hour drive I went in to use the bathroom and there was hair all over the tub and floor and was missing soap. It was clear that the bathroom wasn't cleaned (other than new towels) before we arrived. The toilet had no pressure so even toilet paper would take 3 flushes to go down. It was brought to the attention of the front desk but I'm not certain anyone checked it out while we were out for the day (as explained they would) because when we came back we had the same issues with it. It was so bad, we had to use the lobby bathrooms if we needed to do anything but #1 because it just wouldn't go down. Pretty inconvenient in the middle of the night. The reason for the high score of 3 stars is because the location is on point! Food, entertainment, museums, shops...all within walking distance. We paid almost $400 for a 2 night stay, I expected better quality of service.

Really beautiful hotel and nice, helpful staff. I stayed here with two friends for Hopscotch Music Festival, and the stage was literally RIGHT OUTSIDE the hotel. It was an amazing experience! I Highly recommend for Hopscotch or any event in Raleigh!

This is a great Raleigh downtown hotel. In college, as an NC State student back in 2002 this was absolutely the place to be. And it still is, thanks to this amazing Raleigh landmark still staying true. Thank you Lawrence. We came in the pandemic for a staycation. You gave us just that. 5 miles away from our home it felt like a different world.
You made us laugh and provided excellent customer service. 5 stars and thank you Lawrence!!

Very comfy bed and sheets, cozy lighting, great view. 20 minutes from the airport and super close to downtown districts, museums, and the Capitol! However, there wasn t a mini-fridge or microwave in the room, and there were a few little hairs left on the bathroom wall. The room walls were thin and we were able to easily hear our neighbors have some fun... otherwise, a very friendly check-in and hospitable stay.

In addition to the rooms smell weird there were black hairs on the floor of the bathroom when I checked in. I call the front desk and ask them to please clean them up. They apoliziged and agreed to send someone to clean them up, but, never followed through.

Giving things of value to your customers that cost little to no money is a no brainier.

The hotel was generally nice, but for the price, one would expect nicer common spaces and more effective check-in. It was extremely busy, so some delays were expected. There were only two people working the desks. The air in one room did not work but was remedied with urgency. The hotel seems in need of updates. It wasn't unclean, just had a worn look.

Erica, who is on staff at Sheraton Raleigh, and her colleague, Kira have been EXCELLENT. Talked me through finding parking, made sure I got the room things I needed, and honestly I was a touch cranky because I had not eaten and they were WONDERFUL. Thanks Erica and Kira. I only spoke to Erica on the phone, if I spelled her name wrong. Kira checked me in. She was lovely. They both were. Thanks Sheraton for hiring great women like Erica and Kira!!

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The location is nice and its within walking distance to some local night clubs, several restaurants, and relatively close to the Amtrack and Greyhound stations. The amenities are good however they permanently closed the pool and hot tub so that was a bummer. There is an onsite restaurant that serves up really good food. It's not the best place to visit for R&R when they are hosting events. It becomes very busy and noisy throughout the night and you will wait an extremely long time for an elevator. I say check with the hotel's events schedule before booking. This was my second stay, the first time I booked it was quite and peaceful. Of course there were no events taking place at that time.

The hotel rooms themselves were nice and the hotel being located just across the street from the convention center made changing during Galaxycon easy. That being said, however, everything else seemed to be nickle and diming. The room was already $540 for three nights, but then we find out that parking in the hotel's garage was an extra $15 PER DAY per car. Far be it from me to know how to run a hotel, but I would think that something like PARKING should be included at no extra cost.

I'm staying at the Sheraton for an industry conference. The room I'm in is very nice and the location is perfect. Downtown Raleigh has so many options for food and drinks all within a short walk.
