Newly furnished room, clean and mostly quiet. Little trouble with the parking situation, couldn't quite get anyone to help us figure it out. Overall good stay and would recommend it to friends

The hotel is location is great. The service we got was wonderful and very hospitable. The room was ok but the water pressure in the shower was a joke.
It seems that they are not adjusted to have many people in the hotel because when we were there it was super hard to get an elevator. Plus, when I got to their club in the morning they ran out of plates and food and I waited 20 minutes for that.
Room was clean, service was pleasant, and it's within walking distance to many great local restaurants. I just wish that parking was included in the price of the room instead of $2 more than the listed daily maximum.
Excellent location even with valet charge for the stay. Walk to your event. Worth it! Room was comfortable. Love the fact of less carpet and more wood floors. Beds comfortable. Thumbs up with Starbucks coffee packs in room. Only con...room phone had static but they offered to have someobe come fix the issue but that didn't effect our enjoyable stay. Will definitely stay again.
Outstanding personnel. Always willing to go to the next level to make sure your stay is comfortable. Valet service wonderful.
Rooms are nice, but there is not a lot of attention to detail. Jimmy V's has great food and great service.
Gave me wrong room-comped us with a free breakfast.
We recently visited the Sheraton but didn't stay in a room. The lobby was large, comfortable, well lit and welcoming.
Nothing really special, nothing bad (thats a good thing). Its a hotel with a great down-town location in Raleigh. This is within walking distance of quite a few restaurants. They seem to be currently undergoing some renovations. The parking deck across the street is pretty convenient. Rooms are pretty standard for a good hotel. We did have to request a refrigerator and there was no microwave in the room.
Participated in an event hosted by Triangle Divorce Lawyers. The valets were so sweet and helpful with all of my equipment, unloading and getting it to the designated area. The event was held in the Governor's I and II rooms combined, which was well lit, clean, spacious, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating.
The Sheraton Raleigh it's a wonderful place to stay during business travel. This place also have an experienced and pleasant crew who will helps on any situations that you need. The Sherathos Raleigh is near of big companies offices an of great places like restaurants and taverns.
We were put in a handicap-accessible room where the shower came up to my nose meaning I had to kneel to shower. There was zero water pressure. The sink was microscopic and there was no counter space. Then there were the people running up and down the halls all night screaming and talking. And we won't talk about the $28/night per car for valet with no free parking options. The hotel was less than Sheraton quality and I was terribly disappointed.
There wasn't a microwave nor a refrigerator, paying $10 for Internet, and $2.50 for a bottle of water seems a bit much for the amount of money paid for the room. However, the rooms were nice. As far as location I would rate it a 5.
Rooms are decent but small. I was just helping my stepson get checked in, so my experience limited to the lobby (fine) and his room. Basic hotel room; good location.
This is my go-to when I need to stay in downtown Raleigh. It has newly renovated rooms, and has the Jimmy V's restaurant on property. The staff is great and they are continuing to make new improvements to the property!
The rooms have been remodeled in the last year. The only thing missing for me is a mini fridge.
it is very nice yis but the bathroom fan was very loud so -1
Great location. Rooms need a facelift and some better cleaning though.
Escalator seems to always be broken but a great place to stay
Really nice exterior, located in a nice central area of Raleigh. Rooms are mediocre in quality. No continental breakfast. WiFi is awfully slow.
The door to the bathroom won't shut all the way. Doors don't block any noise from hallway. No fridge or microwave in room. Rooms are pretty small for the number of beds in them.
Nice rooms, but the staff were who made our visit really fabulous.
Excellent!!! Home away from home. Great food. Oh staff is very polite and respectful. Always ready to assist.
Great experience. Mercedes gave great customer service.
I love this hotel. Its my go to "Staycation" spot here in Raleigh. The catering and restaurants are phenomenal. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff is kind and responsive!
Liked the hotel, great location in downtown raleigh
Friendly and helpful staff... you can ordee room service until 11 pm and there is a restuarant in the lobby. The room service was pretty fast...
Needs upgrade. Rooms that seemed to be upgraded not to Sheraton standard.
Great stay, friendly staff, amd the upgrades they are getting will definitely make it have that downtown feel. A+ in my book
Very nice hotel central in downtown Raleigh. Pleasant staff, has a coffee shop in the upstairs lobby that opens early, and a convenient parking deck. Recommended.
Wonderful hotel!!! Very accommodating and nearby lots of local hotspots
The downtown Sheraton is a really nice hotel and facility for hosting formal events. The catered food was good and the staff was very friendly.
The best Hotel in the Raleigh area. Their Catering Director is absolutely amazing.
Great coffee and service , especially when Ms Faye is there working. She's great.
237 a night for a room with squeaky beds, and no outlets to plug phone into close to bed.
Was there for a wedding. Location was great and so was the facilities. A festival was going on all night outside my window so I couldn't sleep. That's probably not their fault, but I'm gonna knock a star off because I can.
Great hotel. Great location. Rooms are up to date, I'd stay again.
Not a bad place to stay, however the rooms are a bit dated. The television in my room looks like it has melted at the top. No refrigerator out safe in the room. The view isn't bad.
Love this hotel!!! It was very clean and well decorated!! The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great!!!
Great Location right in the middle of downtown. Super comfortable beds and a very friendly staff.
The courteousness and helpfulness of the staff was above & beyond my expectations. We had multiple rooms for a wedding. Their prompt &
couteous help with everything from from luggage to towels to directions made the weekend much easier. We especially liked the unlimited entry/exit included in the daily parking rate. Request a mini-fridge if you need one in the room.
This hotel was a bit expensive, but it is in a great location where we could walk to wherever we needed. All the employees I interacted with were kind and helpful, and the rooms were spacious. I did occasionally hear our neighbors, but this was not a huge complaint for me. I would recommend this hotel to others
The room was large and clean. Staff was very friendly
The hotel was clean the staff was courteous the water pressure in the shower was horrible possibly because it's an older Hotel but I have to believe there's something that can be done about that!
Nice, clean hotel. Nothing special. Great downtown location. Hotel bar was nice but a tad expensive.
Nice location and nice staff. Plenty of places to eat within 1 min walk.
Way too expensive for the quality of the hotel. Walls are thin, rooms are connected, rowdy guests, cheap fake wood flooring inside the room, lights were sporadic inside the room, 2 dollars and 50 cents for a second water inside the room, and hotel seems old in terms of infrastructure.
Nice amenities. Good location. But price makes this not worth it.
The common areas were very nice and the conference spaces are nice as well.
The entry and common areas are very nice but the hotel rooms leave something to be desired. First of all the bathroom is so tiny the door barely closed. Second, they got carried away with the trendy furniture and jammed with basically everything they could fit in there. Thirdly one said trendy piece of furniture has charging ports in it but I had to search for a plug to allow it to discharge power. Finally when I arrived late Friday night there was a glass of water outside my door. No big deal people go to the bar and drop a glass in the hallway but after THREE DAYS of being there the glass still stood which I couldn't believe. Cleaning folks had passed it numerous times and whoever takes the rooms service trays had been through numerous times. There is no reason it should have been there for so long.
The good, the beds are super comfy and the blackout curtains are spot on.
Perfectly located hotel in downtown Raleigh, close to everything in downtown area. This hotel needs updates specially in the bathrooms. Tayler, the front desk wasn't friendly at all, it seemed like she hated her job. The hotel is connected to a bank on the side. In general it's a nice place but needs repairs.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, comfortable bed, had to wait 10+ minutes for elevators on two occasions, not much in the way of bathroom amenities.
Needs some attention... bathroom room fan broken, cracked floor tiles in elevator, spilled liquid in elevator not cleaned up in 2 days, entry light to room not working...yet food in the lobby restaurant was excellent and overall was a pleasant place to stay.
The bed was clean, and comfortable, but the towels were stained. Will stay somewhere else next time.
I had a wonderful experience here. My dad and I stayed here a couple of months ago and the customer service was amazing.
I attended a work event at the Sheraton. The room was ready ahead of schedule. Everything was nice and clean. Room service was prompt and delicious. Overall a very positive experience.
Had to wait a bit rental was a dream staff could be better
Elegant and beautiful, although if you have any allergies to perfumes, I wouldn't recommend other wise it's a wonderful place to be in.
It's nice place. Rooms are well maintained and staff was friendly.
The location of this hotel is great. The room was clean and nicely decorated. My room had a balcony door that would not shut all the way, so I could hear the traffic outside. Over all I had a good stay.
The beds are so comfortable. Plus, when I woke up we had vouchers for a free breakfast buffet in the restaurant by the check-in area.
It is a bit difficult to park your car, but all other aspects of this hotel are above the promised.
Hotel valet parking was a mess . Took an hour to get in off the street and check in. Room was unremarkable and elevator took forever.
Worst experienced I've had. Booked a room on October 9, 2013 cancelled on October 15, 2013, they took $201.82 on October 15, 2013 and as today October 28, 2013 I have not received my refund. Today I will file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office.
Today is October 29, 2013 no refund, you do the math. I cancelled on October 15, 2013, 14 days ago and if you only want to count the week days 10 days. Filled with Attorney Generals Office on October 28, 2013. Never book a room at the Sheraton using your Debit Card, that's where I went wrong. First and last for me.
Rooms were small but very clean. The card reader to my door wasn t working and there was only 1 elevator working that morning. I called the front desk and they immediately sent maintenance to fix the reader. I received a complimentary drink coupon/ internet code for the inconvenience. Totally unnecessary but greatly appreciated. Very nice staff at this hotel.
The hotel looks run down from the lobby. Its red brick facade is dated. Now the hotel might have great rooms and may have awesome service ... but the whole look is not what you expect of a Sheraton Hotel.
Very poor customer service. Rude front desk staff when i checked in. I needed to leave a message to another guest and they had no VM system and operater said i was just outta luck. Room was in disrepair, toilet paper dispenser fell off the wall, bed sheets were just thrown on the bed. Wont stay here again.
Stay was great. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Nice, clean rooms. Right in the middle of downtown, so everything is in walking distance.
Nice hotel! Very comfortable and staff were very nice!
Staff B
Treated well & timely for the most part.
Facility in repair & dated D
Beds nice & comfy B
Rooms temp control D
When the vents are above/below the thermostat... duh!
Food B
Friendly staff, awesome comfy beds! Starbucks coffee in room! What more could you ask for?!
Stayed at hotel for four nights for a work meetings. Meeting room and food was great. Hotel room is clean but the walls are way too thin and the hotel needs to address the noise issues. Over the 4 nights I could tell I had three different guests (not the same people) in the room next to me. It sounded as though they were all in my room. Actually creepy and I would not stay here again because of this.
