Nice hotel in a perfect spot next to the convention center in Raleigh. Quiet and clean. Attentive staff.

It was an overall enjoyable stay. The parking was a bit odd, being across the street and not at the front entrance. The small coffee shop inside was nice, but pricey. Location to the area was a benefit, as well as the ease of travel to the airport. I would stay here again for a business trip.
Great service everyone was very nice, lots to do nearby
Room was spacious and inviting and bed was very comfortable.
Hotel lobby is very inviting. However, the rooms are not clean, the furniture is damaged, and the breakfast is awful. Jimmy V's located on the first floor of the hotel is excellent.
It's a hotel. The only notable thing about it is that smell in the public areas. Whatever air freshener or cleaning agent they use smells absolutely horrible. Neither myself nor my friends find anything pleasant about it - basically, it is a metallic chemical smell that permeates everything, including anyone who spends more than ten minutes there. If I am passing through to go to the bank that is in the adjacent building, I can smell it. The rooms are rooms, and the service is nothing special. The Budget location in the hotel is decidedly low-rent, and I walked away wholly unimpressed with the service.
Very adequate staff! The rooms are spacious and linens are fine. Bathroom can use a little more attention.
We were there to help a bridal party get ready. The accommodations were very nice, and the room was spacious. The staff was informative, and helpful, and I was warmly greated at the door and front desk.
Perfectly nice hotel in a great location. Didn't use too many of the amenities but seems generally well done.
The walls are thin. You can hear a lot from the rooms on either side of your room.
Went to a wedding reception at the Sheraton and the food & staff were excellent.
Hotel was definitely not ready to be open. Escalator broken and blocked, only one elevator was barely operational. Had to ride utility elevator to get to room and use stair multiple times to be able to leave or get to 12th story room. Many times there was food and trays lying out in the hallways on the floor. Breakfast non parking is included making this a place you should avoid at all costs
Beautiful hotel in downtown Raleigh!! The staff was beyond amazing!! I was extremely sick and not feeling well, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was ok.
Location was great, and the room was nice. Staff were very friendly.
We had a good experience staying at the hotel while attending Animazement. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The room was nice and clean. We would recommend to others.
Great hotel. Nice staff, comfy beds. Had to pay for WiFi but otherwise nice!
Elevators having tons of issues and always full (due to Supercon), but the hotel room is nice!
Nice hotel with well appointed accommodations. I stayed two nights. One downside, however, was that the staff didn't service my room between nights. We had to call the desk for some clean towels.
Good quality rooms and service; dated in room equipment (alarm clocks, TV, etc)
The location of the hotel was phenomenal for the wedding we attended, it was just across the street in the convention center. The hotel was also a short walk from several attractions like the capitol and City Market. The main lobby was under renovation which was inconvenient, and the elevators we're horrible; minimum of a 10 minute wait for an elevator to come on just about any floor. The rooms were updated but a bit small and the staff were all pleasant.
Great hotel. Really nice location. The rooms look like they have been recently updated. Will definitely come back.
I have stayed at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel over 100 nights this past year for business. The staff are amazing and attentive and always make sure to accomodate my needs. They often reward my loyalty with upgrades to executive and governors suites, bottles of wine etc. Dinner in the lounge is a full course meal every night- not just snacks like at other hotel lounges. The gym is brand new, top notch- clean, plenty of room and a good variety of equipment. I also love that the hotel is 2 blocks away from a yoga studio which I frequent.
Very nice rooms, comfy beds. Nice location, close to many bars & restaurants
Hotel needs maintenance work. Elevators down and leaking faucets. Staff is friendly and attentive and the location is good.
Rooms are nice and well maintained, and the staff are very friendly. Only strange part in my opinion was that the lights had to be turned on using multiple switches. In the dark, this could be challenging.
This is a Very old property in downtown Raleigh. Terrific food available on-site!
The accommodations here seem to be newly redone, so it looks quite nice. There's no complimentary breakfast, and most floors don't have an ice machine where it says there's one. They had chilled our room to 65 degrees, which is quite excessive use of the AC! Other than that, the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Good location with many food options nearby.
Decent hotel with mostly responsive staff. Bathrooms need a bit of an update. For the price I expected more amenities, like a fridge and microwave. A/C was iffy and you got one free bottle of water per day. The hotel is super convenient to several great restaurants so unless you plan to go beyond the downtown area you will never need to drive anywhere. The hotel restaurant offered terrible service so avoid Jimmy V's at all costs. There are too many great places to eat rather than subjecting yourself to bad service.
Nice accommodations. Good location. 10 minute walk to legislature.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were somewhat small. Above all it was a good experience.
Hotel itself was nice but staff was rude and unaccommodating. During check in , the staff didn t tell us about parking , how to get to my room, breakfast anything. He just handed me my key and started back working on his computer. I had to ask him where do I park and how do i get to my room. The room didn t have tissue in it .. the room was half clean , i found hair on the table. The ice machine on the 11th floor was broke. Not to mention something was flying in our room. I will be emailing the CEO of this hotel bc staff needs lots of training . They all seem to be unhappy here. No welcome to Sheraton or nothing lol can i help you is what i got
While the rooms were acceptable and the staff was courteous, I would not recommend this hotel. In the year 2016, the hotel charges $9.95 per night for internet usage and does not offer a free continental breakfast. Chains of much lower quality even offer these basic services. Further, I was charged $19 for a single 12 oz. beer and one glass of wine.
No thank you.
This place has seen better days. Beds are comfortable and staff is friendly. Beyond that, the rooms are dirty, everything is dated/worn, and the walls are thin. Price point also means a bunch of hooligans stay here and are loud in their rooms and the hall throughout the night. There are better places to stay in the area.
Clean, and front desk receptions are very friendly and professional.
The elevator is old, the bath water is small, but the room is good.
Pleasant, clean, with air conditioning, friendly service. Good food in the hotel restaurant.
It s terrible. The elevators have gotten stuck three times since I have been here. I got here yesterday. Tonight an elevator got stuck and dropped with three people in it and hit the foundation of the hotel. This is the second elevator to go out since I have been here. When other people went up to the employees and told them what had happened they just simply said okay and did absolutely nothing about it. It was like they threw it under a rug and forgot about it within 2 minutes of it happening.
Nice hotel. I had a 3 hour meeting with a guest in the lobby. Comfortable chairs and not too noisy
rooms are nice. was here for a work function. only issue was room keys kept deactivating every time we left the room we had to go to front desk and get new keys.
Attended a gala here. Didn't spend the night but the gala was fun
A decent hotel in a good downtown location. They were hosting an all white clothes party on the third floor which had lots of people attending and i was woken up by drunken folks being loud in the hallway...not the hotels fault specifically, just annoying when it happens.
Great location and rooms -- however horrible service if you are planning an event.
I have now organized two events here and both experiences were utterly miserable having to work with Maxine Silver. If you're getting married, and want to work with vendors who will be a joy, or at least somewhat nice, go somewhere else.
Nice place. Got a good price on a room with a king sized bed for one night. Within walking distance to some great restaurants! Staff was very friendly and they have a parking garage across the street from the hotel which was great!
Sheraton Georgetown was much better than this. Here I got a surprise $18/d charge for parking, wasn t mentioned anywhere beforehand. Room had few issues with the electrical outlets and closet neon light not working. Ordered foam pillows instead got some uncomfortable ones.
Excellent room , comfortable beds. Had a great sleep.
Great location for walking to restaurants and other events. Outstanding lobby, profesional staff and a room quality that made me feel special.
that's all I need
Great location in downtown Raleigh close to convention center and nightlife. Easy parking across the street. Room were nice with great and comfortable beds. I do wish the rooms had a full length mirror or any sort of mirror besides just in the bathroom. Still had a lovely stay.
First, and last time, Sheraton guest. TV did not work, amenities are old and outdated. Staff is generally friendly, however I did encounter a few rude employees. Will not be back here, and quite frankly may not visit another Sheraton property again.
While I am sure that everyone has their own experience with things like these, I can say that my stay was very positive, with many positive and cordial interactions with the hotel staff.
I was allowed to practice my instrument in one of their convention room's (Magnolia 1) several times.
The hotel restaurant is of sufficient quality and is quite comfortable, with the service being average.
I rate this not as a 5 star hotel, but that my experience was pleasant and unimpeded. No one has any illusions that this is a 5 star hotel... But it was very pleasant.
This place is horrible the service is terrible I ordered room service and the servant didn't come till a hour later. Then I made reservation for a room online then I called in to make sure i did when I get there they told me I didn't reserve a room. Then the employees was horrible they did not know what they were doing I asked for new sheets they put the old sheets on top of the new sheets thats backwards. Then the food was disgusting my breakfast was nasty my eggs under cooked my pancakes soggy and my coffee wasn't even coffee after I ate all of that I was so sick I thought I had food poisoning then there was bugs in the rooms. Just don't stay here I don't care how much it's a four star hotel it's still horrible the food the service and everything I would not recommend staying here
Location and service were incredible. Staff checked me in and answered my questions quickly and with a smile. Hotel is literally across the street from the convention center which is where I was attending a conference, so it was really convenient. There were also a lot of good, local dining options within walking distance. The room itself was ok. Everything was clean, but there were visible stains on the carpet, peeling fabric on the headrest of the bed, and a couple other small things that made me feel like it had been a while since the room was updated. Otherwise, still a good experience.
Room didn't have enough towels, rate was messed up, and shampoo was half gone. Location was great and the room was well appointed.
Hotel is within walking distance to almost everything. Rooms are fairly decent. The hotel employees are very nice and polite.
I was at the Sheraton for an event. The food was delicious, the staff was courteous and helpful. The event room was beautifully decorated, along with the rest of the hotel. There was ample parking and it was easy to get to.
Service was EXCELLENT from checkin, valet, housekeeping and the Bellman. I hope they realize they have a wonderful staff.
Having stayed at other Sheraton hotels with no issues, I was exceptionally disappointed by my stay here. The first issue was that the AC would randomly shut off which would make it unbelievably hot in the room until you walked over and lowered the temperature. This got old having to do it 3-4 times overnight. The second issue was the pillows were awful. One felt like they had filled it with some cotton balls mixed with squares of cork, another immediately compressed to about a quarter of an inch the moment my head hit it. The third issues was when we were walking back into the hotel around 11:30p and all the doors were blocked off save for one. In front of that door there was an employee smoking and what I believe was maybe her manager, holding open the door and arguing with her. There was finger pointing and raised voices and we had to interrupt them to ask if we could come in the door. Neither one of them said anything they just moved slightly to one side to let us pass. My other complaints from the stay are relatively minor and maybe a bit nit-picky. The shower head was about equivalent to one you could buy at Walmart for $25. The towels were small, thin, and they only provided two of them aside from the hand towels. The room seemed dated. It was not really dirty per say, but you could tell tell how old it was based on all the dirt and grime that I assume had caked up over the years. This was especially evident in the bathroom around the shower and toilets. From the Sheraton brand I expected much, much, better and I will definitely not stay at this location again. This experience has shook my confidence in other locations as well.
Its was nice, but last night there was a really loud party on our floor for 3 hours and it was hard to sleep but the hotel was really nice.
Decent option in downtown Raleigh but always appears to be under construction every time I stay.
They were late to allow us to check in. The room was Tony and could use an update.
The hotel is currently under construction so the appearance is a little hard to judge. There is not much space outside at the main door entrance but there is a parking deck across the street and a valet service. The ballrooms are nice and spacious. The food for our event was delicious and replenished quickly. The staff was extremely friendly.
Average hotel. The restaurant does not have a lot of options, and my room was DIRTY! There were stains on the comforter and the towels had hair balls. It was long blonde hair so it wasn't mine or my husbands. The rooms have been updated which was a pro and the view was beautiful. The service staff was awesome but the front desk employees could be nicer. I would not cancel this hotel out, the location is awesome. There are only two other hotels in this area and they are almost double the price. If you need to stay in this part of downtown I would still choose this hotel but based only off of location and price. Just realize you are getting an average hotel not a luxury hotel. Also you have to pay for parking so go ahead and pay the extra bucks and get valet-- it was worth it.
