Overall solid stay for one night. Facilities are solid. Not the best but definitely not the worst. Breakfast was yummy and workout facility is very basic with treadmill, dumbbells and a pool that would be very difficult to get a swim Workout in. Too small for that.

I am mostly happy with my stay. The rooms are nice and the staff was friendly. They lost a star for not servicing my room when I needed towels. I took my family down to the pool, which also had no towels.

The lobby and staff were spectacular. We had a small issue with a room and it was quickly fixed. The main issue with the room was the overall size and lack of amenities though. And that's what leads to an only three star rating.

Very good location. The breakfast buffet has a wide spread. There s free parking on street after 5pm upto 8am. There s also a paid car-park if needed.
Rooms are modern and big. It s in downtown, so it s close to many good restaurants.

Meilan was very friendly and helpful. She is the main reason I gave my stay 3 out of 5 stars, she was the girl from the front desk and I was super impressed with her.
I will now go through my issues with the room we stayed in.
The floor was coming up in spots throughout the room.
The closet light worked 50% of the time
The pipe behind the toilet was clicking or popping, we had to turn the fan or tv on, to drown it out
The faucet in the tub was installed at 7 o clock (instead of 6 or straight down)
There was a spider web (with spider) in the top near where the shower head was.
I expected more from them, especially for the price.

It is the closet and most convenient hotel to the convention center in Raleigh, so if you have something going on there, you will prob have to stay there though.

Pretty nice SPG hotel. Parking is $14 a night, across the street from the hotel. The only downside is the food. The restaurant at the lobby is not good. You have way better options if you walk outside for a few blocks.

I had higher expectations for the Sheraton. I stayed here for two nights. Upon arrival I had to dust the room. My girlfriend and I have terrible allergies and woke up with stuffy noses. I was also snezzing a zillion times throughout the night. I don't know if it was a ventilation problem or what. The tub was also filthy. The drain was slow and the lining shower curtain was dirty. On the plus side, the hotel is beautiful and the staff is very nice.

Friendly front desk staff. Great atrium in lobby. Hair left all over the bathroom floor, counter, and shower. Adequate room. No complimentary breakfast; coffee available in plastic packets in room. Adjoining restaurant had decent pizza for dinner. Parking deck across the street for $15 self park $30 valet. Totally mediocre.

The location is great being in the middle of downtown Raleigh with lots of restaurants within walking difference. The food served during the conference was good for a conference. The only issue was that the bathrooms need to be updated as they didn't match the rest of the hotel in terms of niceness.

I expected more of a 3-4 star hotel, I have stayed in motel rooms with more amenities. I would have complained if I paid the $289/night this place wants instead of naming my own price for less than $100. It was barely worth the $100.

Got hit for an extra parking fee because we checked out and turned in our room keys first. No breakfast. No water. No mini fridge or microwave. Coffee maker in room leaked everywhere. No safe in the room. What a joke this place is. Even a cheap motel would have made apologies for a bad experience, the people that work here seem to think they are above their guests.

Decent Sheraton right in the middle of downtown Raleigh. Walkable to most of the downtown attractions, this hotel is mostly up to date with good amenities. Nice restaurant and coffeeshop, decent indoor pool, small but adequate gym and lots of meeting rooms. Wifi is spotty and HVAC could use an boost in the summer.

Location was great. First time for out if town guests. It was perfect location. Although downtown, parking good. Very accessible to many venues. Surrounded by lots of fun activities. Room itself was very clean and ready upon arrival. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Best beds ever, chic rooms with modern feel. Laminate wood look floors, fantastic heated pool, on site car rental, really good concierge lounge food. Staff is always polite, gracious and welcoming. Easy walkable area downtown - lots of restaraunts/bars in the area. Reccommend!

The rooms are fine, the lobby is lovely and the food was good. The service, however, was way below expectations. Also, the elevators were slow beyond belief and one escalator was broken. Get it together, Sheraton. You can do better.

My room had plumbing issues. The shower was on a hair trigger between scalding hot and uncomfortably cold, and the toilet made strange "blooping" noises for 20 minutes after flushing. The floor of the room didn't look clean, but it might just be that the laminate was worn in spots. It was probably just unlucky, but there was a lot of noise on the first night I was there as well. Not up to the level of what I would expect from a Sheraton.

We stayed here for Animazement a few years back before it had been renovated. It was an okay hotel then. Now it's wonderful. The staff are very welcoming to con-goers and go out of their way to ensure our stay is nice. I highly recommend this girl for next year

Made reservations ahead of time. Arrived at 7:30pm to be told the rooms weren't going to be ready for an hour. They were still being cleaned. Not very sorry about it. Missed the dinner at the Christmas Party I was attending. Missed my husband playing for the party. Offered no discount or apologies. Stupid hotel.

Staff are very nice. Room is dated and carpets are filthy. Housekeeping forgot wash clothes and left a stain on the cover of,the bed. Ewwww. Escalators are broken and one of the elevators is broken causing traffic jams. Pool chairs are filthy. Not quite the experience I expected but ok for the priceline deal.

I had a pretty bad experience here overall. I stayed here 4 nights while in Raleigh for a wedding. First of all despite the lobby, the rooms are pretty dated, especially the bathrooms but not a huge deal. As soon as I got to the room there was a huge roach crawling on the floor! I told the front desk who was completely apathetic but they did offer to switch my room. I actually asked if they have a roach problem and she did say "sometimes they get a lot of complaints".The flooring in both my old and my new rooms needed to be replaced and had some beveling in the tiles which made it very noisy if you walked around the room. It sounded like tape being peeled off when you walked around. No fridge was in the room so I requested a fridge. They brought up a fridge that looked like it had been rolled down the side of a mountain. Huge dents, scratches, smelled off, and had a broken leg. It was quite an eye sore but worked at least. The third night the air conditioning in the building went down. It was 80 degrees in my room throughout the night. It felt like I was suffocating. On the last day when I checked out at 7am in the morning no one was at the front desk. I called and called nothing. The phone was ringing off the hook and no one even came out to answer it. I waited there 10-15min. I wanted to check my bill but I had a flight so eventually I just left them a note with my room number and name. I do not recommend staying here.

Stayed here for the proximity to the convention center, was not disappointed by the distance to the center or restaurants. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and staff was courteous and knowledgeable.

I wish I could give negative stars. Booked this place about 4 days in advance and at check in they tell me they don't have anymore double queen rooms available even though that is what I booked. Staff was rude and unapologetic. I took their offer for a king size (not really king) bed and a rollout full size bed (more like twin). The room was dirty the shower was outdated and broken. With the rollout bed laid down there was no room to walk around. The cable also does not work in my room. I may cut my losses and get a new hotel for my second night. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! THE MOTEL 6 Would be better than this. They have ruined what was supposed to be a nice family weekend in Raleigh site seeing and going to museums. The sad part is the staff doesn't care at all I mean how do I not get the room I booked in a hotel with this many rooms.

P.S. the rooms do not look anything like the pictures and I haven't seen a pool. Hopefully I have saved you some money.

It appears that they are getting ready for a renovation which would be good for the rooms and kinda left grungy feel through the stay. It was super convenient to a great downtown and the beds were great.
