The employees in the lobby are nice but if you ask them for a toothbrush or anything the Sheraton offers for free they will say to wait in your room and you will never get it. There are a bunch of loose floor panels in the room and the bathroom was a little dirty. I ordered the $15 breakfast and It was cold. I called the lobby and they said I would be sent hotter food. I waited 3 hours for them to bring my food which never came. I got food poisoning too.

The rooms are small and lacking in common amenities that would be expected for a hotel in this price range and location. The hotel staff from the entrance as well as the front desk are not very helpful and service was given grudgingly. The room was poorly serviced day to day. Trash was not emptied, soap was not replaced, linens were not fully replaced, which necessitated a call to the sevice desk. The excuse was given that they were very busy. If the rooms are rented out, housekeeping staff should be retained at an appropriate level to properly maintain rooms. No valet service is provided.

This hotel is NOT worth the cost. Beds/Pillows/Linens were nice, but there was no fridge/microwave in the room, no free parking, no included foods (food that was available was overpriced). The elevators (3 total) worked intermittently, and for the number of people in this hotel it was extremely under equipped to move them floor to floor. We had wait times of~10 minutes occasionally. To get to the check in, you MUST take the escalator or elevator, but the escalator was also broken... so that meant more time and more people waiting on one of the elevators
The pool was closed as well, which was a major disappointment. Check in/out was problematic, since (as reported) there were only 5 carts to move luggage on, and the staff insisted on loading/unloading with the cart which was annoying, though the staff was very pleasant.

It was between this Sheraton and the Marriott next door. I chose the Sheraton because of the heavy traffic that would be at the Marriott due to the MAPL volleyball tournament.

Upon checkin, it became relevant that only 1 main and service elevator was working. Check-in was on the second floor of the hotel and the only way up was via elevator since the escalator was also out of service. For those of you who travel a lot, you know you just want a quick and easy transition to shower and relax.

If it wasn't for the quick action of Trey, Wes, Preston, Chloe and Bill, I would have asked for a refund. These individuals assured me that the situation was being worked out and hopefully handled before next business day.

Next day, same situation with the elevators and Sibrena, a manager at the front desk was unpleasant, had no customer service ability and was frankly disrespectful. When asked what the hotel was doing to resolve the elevator issue, guests were met with the "it's not our fault attitude" no go away. Due to COVID, there is no turn down service, but they had no problems sticking 20 people in the service elevators. What an uncomfortable experience!

In an effort to save the day/trip, employees Trey, Wes, Preston, Chloe and Bill will be the only reason I return to this hotel next year for the MAPL tournament. They were kind, professional, customer service friendly and picked up the slack where others could not. They all get 5 stars from myself and my daughter.

I cannot however give the hotel that same rating. The rooms were clean, but extremely outdated and the beds uncomfortable. Jimmy VS was a joke, but parking was in a great location, just across the street.

I cannot stress enough how important it is for this Sheraton to realize the importance of their staff. The individuals I mentioned except for Sibrena, are representing you very well.

The room was clean/bed comfty, the staff was very nice and professional, and it was convenient to the event I was attending. Overall a great experience. I would definitely stay here again when in town.

I really enjoy staying here when in Raleigh since the rooms are always super clean and the staff is really nice. Great central downtown location that is always easy to find as well. I ll be returning next time!

I would not recommend staying here they have a pipe problem the water is cold and it comes out brown it was coming out of the faucet and tub they refused to give me a refund or place me in another room and advised me to run the water for 10 min before I shower this is unsanitary I can t even wash my hands or body during a pandemic they are not following the cdc protocol to protect guest from COVID

The room and service was fine. Unfortunately, I did not sleep well either night. The pillowtop mattress was too hot for me. The sheets were not comfortable either. I have difficulties sleeping anyway so cannot put all blame on the hotel.

The hotel needs an update. I love the brick around the lobby and front of the hotel but it really needs a makeover in the rooms. The bathrooms are still tubs and dirty. My room had a moldy earthy smell that I wasn t a fan of. The bed was really hard. I had a great view and the lounge food was decent.

My stay was only ok. My room was paid for by my company but I had to give them my credit card for incidentals. That's fine, however, they didn't alert me that they would be taking out $75 and holding it for a week. That's a little extreme for "incidentals". I stayed on the 11th floor. I had to use the ice machine on the 13th floor after discovering that the ones on the 9th floor and the 11th floor were both broken. We were only give two towels when we had two people staying in our room. I would think there should be 4. Also housekeeping knocked on our door at three different times the morning of our check-out. After the first time they should've waited until after check-out time to come back.

Went to a mystery dinner. The food was good. I had eggplant with red sauce. The sauce was nicely spicy. The cheesecake was very creamy . The service was excellent. The mystery was so so, we were not given enough information to do any more than guess the guilty party, that needs some work.

The Sheraton Raleigh was a positive and interesting stay for me, the building is lovely and the staff's professionalism was on full display, especially since this was the week of the Animazement Convention and they were able to handle an array of guests with ease.

The workout facilities were nice, nothing stellar but the basics are all there and the cafe in the lobby was a nice touch. Everything necessary in a good hotel stay will be provided here at the Sheraton, definitely a recommendation

The hotel was amazing and very appealing to the eye. We received great customer service and it was located within walking distance to everything downtown. The room was clean and spacious and the best was extremely comfortable almost better than home.

This is a very nice downtown property. The gym is under construction so they use a YMCA down the street. The restaurant in the hotel isn't great but the hotel staff and rooms are all very good.

This is one of the nicest Sheratons that I've stayed at. Clean, great location, and nice amenities. The big downside is the cramped, damp fitness room. It gets busy in here with all of the business travelers but they clearly just don't care about it... From the lack of equipment to the size, location and wet floor due to the humidity.

We checked in and were given a handicap accessible room. We paid for a standard room. The shower was too short and broken; the temperature went from scalding hot to cold, so we called the front desk. Joshina said that there were only two rooms available tonight and both were handicap accessible. I asked her if both rooms were booked and she said Yeah, they are while we are literally looking at currently available standard rooms online. We let her know that there are more rooms available online and suddenly her response changes to ... there s rooms available but they re dirty . After we got off the phone we saw a cockroach *see picture attached :-)* crawling on the floor so that was that we checked out and didn t even stay the night. Joshina couldn t have cared less; we told her about the cockroach and she didn t apologize or at least actually pretend to care. It s disappointing because we usually love staying at this hotel whenever we come to Raleigh. We definitely won t be coming back.

Clean room and bathroom, quick and polite front desk staff, good room location, mostly quiet guests considering the many weddings and St Paddy's Day celebrations. My only complaint is that the lobby smelled odd, like a cloying faux floral fragrance.

$200 a night for a tiny room and no fridge. You re greeted in the lobby with dated 90 s decor and some off-brand Axe cologne that stays in your nose for much too long. The rooms are TINY- we were constantly bumping into each other and we live in a 1200 sq foot house. Ours had a lovely mint wrapper on the windowsill which means it wasn t cleaned properly. We had some leftovers and looked for a fridge- it was nowhere to be found. I ve stayed in motels with bigger rooms and even they had a mini-fridge, it s mind boggling they don t. There also wasn t an ice machine on our floor. And- you have to pay for parking, even though the hotel most likely owns the deck. I ve paid $230 a night for a spacious oceanfront view in a resort with a mini-fridge, parking, and a balcony, so I really don t see the value this place has to offer. Also, late check out was a hassle at the front desk. The only thing this hotel has going for it is a decent location. This is one of my first experiences with Sheraton and I plan to consider other chains first next time.

The location was central and perfectly located with safe easy parking directly across the street. The amnesties where great and a functional good gym on premise. The customer service and front desk reception where welcoming and friendly. A big plus is they have Jimmy V. Restaurant and Bar connected to the lobby as their hotel restaurant and bar. A big plus. Note, maybe this is not a 5 star luxury modern hotel but when your visiting the city and have an agenda or itinerary in the area to follow, this hotel and its affordable pricing makes it functional. I recommend it.

Big plus, the design and high ceilings make it impressive in the lobby.

The room was very clean and a decent size. I had a pass through door joining my room to another room. Occasionally I could hear my neighbors, but for most part I didn't hear anything. The bathrooms were neatly- and fully- stocked with lotion, shampoo, conditioner and two soaps. There was NO mini fridge, which was a little bit of a bummer since I pump and had no where to store breast milk. I loved the bed and the blankets, very comfortable. Overall very happy with our stay. Would recommend asking if your room has a fridge when booking your stay, if that is something you need.

Horrible experience!!! No mini fridge in my room and you have to request it. That was never set as an expectation and in a 3 star or above hotel you should not have to and you get put on a waitlist. What makes it worse is when you bring things that require a fridge.

Ok place. Being updated so bed was crisp and comfortable. Mess with cards loosing programming was a pain. No sit down breakfast unless you get club access, then limited menu (but Good) room service only option or coffee shop.

The room especially bathroom was not cleaned properly, long strands of dark hair all over the floor, smears on the shower wall needed to be washed off!
The floor tile/linoleum was lifting in various places and the area between the sofa and the bed was not swept either. It's like we were placed in a room that was freshened up for the 'current occupant' and NOT a fully cleaned room for a new guest. Very disappointing.

Great hotel. Location is ideal for restaurants, museums, downtown. Something always going on this time of year on Fayetteville St, like Artpolousa last weekend. And best of all, the staff is wonderful. Very friendly, professional and welcoming, making you feel like you are 'home' during your stay....Corinne is the best!

The hotel was nice. Rooms were ok but the airflow sucked. Even with the air conditioning on no circulation so it was dry. You had to use your key to use elevators which is weird. Security on site was ok at best. Caught one sleeping. Parking was across the street

Very nice and accommodating hotel. Rooms are clean and updated with many ammenities available at no charge upon request. Sheraton has some of the comfiest beds I've slept in. Restaurant, room service, etc. were very friendly but very slow. Only reason I gave 4 star was due to the slow service received on every front, that and you have to pay extra for parking on an already pricey hotel. Itherwised loved it and would stay again.

Pretty nice hotel with good location in downtown Raleigh. Parking was addition which isn't too bad, but free parking is always better. Room was not too bad, but there was sitting water in the tub when we first checked in. There was also candy bar wrappers underneath the table that seemed to be missed by the cleaning staff. Was not that big of a deal, but a clean hotel is important.
