The location is right on the heart of the plaza and Fayetteville street. The rooms are clean and the staff are nice, although there s typically 2-3 of them at a time and can rake some time to check in if busy.
If there are any events going on in city plaza, try to ask for rooms on the top to be as far as you can from the noise, although you ll still hear some if there is live music (unless the sound doesn t bother your sleep)

Had an overall good experience here. Was here for a conference. My room was clean and nice. The Internet was free but just ok in in speed. Barely adequate. I ordered room service one night and it was good.

We only stayed one night. Luggage carts are not self-service, you have to have a bellman retrieve and accompany the cart to your room. Room was nice enough, and had cool reading lamps for the bed.

The lobby is not updated and there is a strong perfumey smell on the bottom floor that was off putting. However, the service was AMAZING. All of their staff were so wonderful, helpful, and professional. The service model here is excellent !

Seemed run down. Had issues with the AC, shower filler was broken, shower towels were broken off the door, and the chain lock was broken from the door to the room. Good location however.

I had pizza at Jimmy V's in the hotel. I was with a large group of prior and they were more than accommodating. The pizza was delicious, although the crust was not as crisp as I usually like it. All in all, I had a good experience.

I stayed at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel with my family to attend a hockey game. The location was nice with a lot of things near by to walk through and the the hotel was very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Rooms are very clean and very nice. Restaurant food for breakfast was unimpressive. The hotel itself is in a great location and within walking distance of most everything you would need downtown.

Came in for a wedding, and I enjoyed my time in the room. The hotel is right on a road where major events, like the New Years Eve celebration, happens. The TV seemed to have some pretty bad connection issues, and was sometimes unwatchable. The bathroom light was also hardwired to the bathroom vent as well, meaning whenever you turn on the light, a loud fan also begins. It became quite annoying, especially late at night.

Check-in/checkout was easy. the room was nice, the only downside is there was no fridge in the room. My husband and I stayed there for Raleigh Supercon so a fridge would have been helpful for food to be kept in. The staff was great and we had no issues. Will most likely stay there next year as well.

Arrived at 6pm for check-in, room wasn't ready until 8pm. I went out to watch the football game and when I returned they almost gave my room away right in front of my face. This hotel day reserved as part of a conference, so they knew people would be coming in and yet this day the case. The stay itself was great... typical.

Great Spot to stay when you're in town for business. Easy to walk to about 100 different restaurants, close to everything you could need. The front desk staff.. are the cherry on top to a great hotel.

Excellent experience at the Hotel. Was especially treated well by Tyler at the front desk. She was able to assist us with some extra club level amenities. Very happy with the service they provided. I highly recommend this hotel!

We didn't stay at the Sheraton we ate at Jimmy V's Osteria + Bar. The food was good and we have been there several times before but the service last night was very sub par. We had reserved a very large table and they were not able to accommodate all of us ad the should, there was only on server for 26 people and food came out at all different times.

You cant beat the location for downtown Raleigh. They are currently upgrading their rooms and workout facilities, but there was not that much disruption. I usually prefer the Marriott next door, but this place is a great alternative.

I arrived at the hotel on Sunday for a 5 night stay for a business conference. The lobby was very inviting and staff was very friendly. However when I got to my room it was in a horrible state. It was clean but it looked like it was not fixed up in 20 years. The leather on the headboard, of the bed, was all cracked up and stained/dirty from the many guests over the years. It was not to the point where I really did not want to put my head on it. The worst was the desk chair which was all cracked up and nasty looking, it looked like the leather in a 30 yr old car seat including stains. That I for sure did not want to sit in. My room was a non smoking room but it smelled like someone had smoked in it. I immediately went back to the front desk and reported my findings. They were polite and switched my room to one on the "Club Level". That room was better except the heating/cooling system.

When I got to my new room it was about 66 deg F so as any reasonable person would do I increased the thermostat set point to 72 deg C and left for the day. When I returned it was.... Yep 66 deg F! The hotel staff said the heating/cooling system was on "economy" mode. This means that during the summer it does not produce any heat. However it still blows cold air.... So here is the way it works as far as I can figure. If the temperature is above the set point (too hot) it turns the air on and blows cold air, as one would expect. However when the temperature is below the set point (too cold) the thermostat turns on the heat and starts blowing air.... Except in "economy" mode the heat can not turn on so it just blows cold air instead making the room 66 deg F. So I just turned the system off and it got warm but the air got stagnant so I had to turn it on and off for some period every day.

Ok so that is not the worst! On my day of checkout I was sleeping and was woken up at 5 AM in the morning by SOME GUY IN HIS UNDERWARE ENTERING MY ROOM!!!!!!! WTF! Apparently they gave the same room to somebody else who arrived the same day AND THEY HAD THE SMAE ROOM KEY. That person, who got into my room, was in a wedding party and did not get back to his room until late. This is a very scary security violation. Fortunately the other person was nice and had not entered my room until late. If he had entered when I was not there and he was not a good person ALL OF MY STUFF COULD HAVE BEEN STOLEN. Including my laptops $2000 ea cellphone, money ect!

DO NOT STAY HERE, pay for the Marriott it is just 4 steps away, plus their restaurant is far better than Jimmy V's.

This hotel charged a different rate than what was quoted and they charged the day of the booking instead of the day of occupancy, The floors are dirty and the customer service was poor. There are much nicer places with more hospitality to stay in raleigh

My friend and I checked in Saturday September 5, 2020 and checked out Monday September 7, 2020. We checked in later around 7:30pm. We were in a rush to get to our dinner reservations, so we literally dropped our luggage, changed clothes, and left. We returned a little before midnight. After relaxing, I decided to go shower (around 12:15-12:30am). I turned on the water so it could warm up before turning on the shower. I went to use the toilet and it was just gross. There was a ring around it and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. I turned back to turn the shower on. Apparently the stopper had been up, so the water was filling in the tub. The water was yellow-brown and reminded me of Flint, MI. It was revolting and disgusting. I immediately called the front desk and they said they would call us right back. Thirty minutes go by and it's now almost 1am. I call them back and the person I spoke with was very rude and said they called the room and no one answered (our room phone never rang). Someone brought a key up and we moved from the 9th floor to the 10th floor. After unpacking, I realized I left my face wash in the old room. It's expensive, so I called back down to the desk. They said I would have to go all the way back down to the desk to get the key and get the wash myself. I finally get my face wash and get back to our new room. I go to shower and decided to check the water first - the exact same thing happened! At this point, it's 1:30am, I've traveled 6 hours in the car, and I'm exhausted.
The next morning I decide to make myself a cup of complimentary Starbucks coffee you provided in our room with bottled water. I'm SO GLAD I had enough sense to look inside the coffee reservoir before making coffee - it was filled with dust and OLD LEAVES (as in leaves from a tree outside)!!!
My friend and I never showered the entire time at your hotel. We had to sponge off with bottled water and also use bottled water to brush our teeth. The last day of our trip, we needed some more toilet paper and an extra towel. I called the desk and they said I would have to come down and get it since no one was "available".
I completely understand everything going on with COVID-19 right now. I understand staff is limited and things are not the same as before. I accept certain amenities will not be included due to sanitary issues. What I do not accept is that I paid over $100 a night for a "nice" hotel in a downtown area that I felt disgusted to stay in. The fact that your hotel finds dirty toilets, plumbing issues, and completely unsanitary appliances acceptable makes my head spin. I could have spent half the money, stayed at well known 2 star hotels and have none of those issues. I will never stay in a Sheraton/Marriott hotel again.

This hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the convention center in Raleigh, and is an excellent choice if you are attending an event there. My room had a lovely view of downtown. There's a restaurant on the second floor that gets quite busy but is very good (try the steak salad). My only complaint was with the elevators, which were only partially operational all weekend, so there were lots of long waits.

Breakfast was good but expensive, large open room for dinning in with great coffee, then agin it was a bar breakfast normally found with hotels with complementary breakfast but with an open grill. Very close to the convention center for the event attendment.

The Sheraton Raleigh is Convention Center-adjacent and nearby to many downtown hotspots. The rooms were neat and clean, but the hotel lacked little touches that similarly-priced hotels provided. One example, the gym is under repair, and the signs point to an alternate gym room containing some yoga mats and no further explanation. Again, solid overall, but could stand a once-over.

I will applaud the hotel for taking safety measures during COVID. Not having people coming into your room during your stay is reassuring. However, I was surprised to find that ice is only available every other floor. Also, you are not supplied with a fridge or microwave. You are given an ice bucket, but it can house one beverage at a time with ice so it isn't worth the effort for one person to have a cool drink. Looks nice on the inside and out, but the amenities need work!

Attended a conference. Food served was nice quality and service was friendly. The conference room was good, only complaint is some sound proofing could help external noise filtering in and being a distraction.

Cleanliness was very suspect. Multiple hair found, from shower wall to the bedding, and a glass in the bathroom appeared to have been used by a previous guest and put back, and didn't get washed. I'm not a crazy cleanliness freak, but I wouldn't go back. The shower ceiling also showed water damage, which isn't a big deal, but shows how well the hotel is cared for.
