Good hotel. Good location for Old Town and DC. Room is very clean, but furniture is looking tired. Curtains in east facing bedroom don't block all of sunshine. It would be nice to have validated or reduced price parking for guests.

I love the spaciousness of the rm. So quite, we slept so well! The shampoo and conditioner was surprising good!! The room is clean and well equipped with big desk and chairs like a proper living room! Location is superb with a 24 hour grocery just a min away, easy to find parking!!

Horrible. Bugs in the beds. Front desk not helpful or caring. Had to demand new room. Restaurant service terrible. Waiting over 20 minutes for ice cream and we are the only people here at 9pm. Worse Sheraton I ever stayed out. I give it 0 stars only did 1 because couldn't post 0.

Very disappointing for Electric Vehicle customers. The hotel advertises itself as having EV charging stations, but the signs for EV charging spots are poorly placed. This means other cars are blocking access to the chargers - very sad!
Please put better signs for the EV charging spots, and enforce them please.

Elevator from the underground parking garage was broken. The air conditioner thermostat didn't work and we got a runaround answer as to why. We were told the a.c.can either be turned on full, it turned off. Doesn't matter what it's set at, it either went full strength, it had to be turned off. The doors separating the bedroom from the room with the sofa bed was a French door setup with glass doors. Only 2 sheer curtains separated the rooms.

I'm here now and I'm a bit disappointed. I've stayed here multiple times and this was the most underwhelming stay...maybe it's because I am on the 3rd floor? All suites are not created equal, as I've stayed in nicer rooms in this very hotel. Furniture could use updating and the rooms could be cleaner (my room chair was filthy with hair and crumbs. I refused to sleep without going to the local Harris Teeter to grab wipes and lysol spray). Lamp shades were damaged and the curtain was also not on track (it's the small details). The water gets hot, but the toilet makes a very weird noise after flushing and doesn't complete for about 3 minutes (strange noise). Thermostat only produced air and no heat (called the front desk and she said she would send someone right up and never did). Unfortunately, there's those times where it's not worth the hassle and you make a mental note for the next trip.

The good points: good breakfast with options (proteins, waffles, French toast, oatmeal, almond milk, cereals, etc-my gluten free/strict vegetarian folks may not think it's worth it because its limited in that regard); location is close to everything you need in Alexandria so you could pretty much walk everywhere (I like to visit king street which is a ways, but a pleasant walk with old town scenery); close to restaurants and 2 grocery stores (Harris Teeter and Trader Joes); and a free shuttle to the airport is a plus. Oh, and some rooms have nice terraces with a view.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond for our family reunion. We reserved over 44 rooms with almost 100 family members. It is the perfect location for out of town family. Walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. The shuttle picked up family members as they arrive and depart it for the airport. The Subway was near which allowed family members without cars to visit Washington DC. Water taxi near the hotel allowed family to enjoy the national harbor.

The beautiful courtyard Is my favorite spot. Very family friendly. Pet where welcomed too.

I have been coming to this hotel every week for the past 2 months for business, so i can add this fair review... the staff attitude front desk etc is not that good they need to get trained so i am giving one star for that, they are not welcoming and they don t know how to speak to their customers , additionally the hotel location is good near Old Town with nice restaurants arounds, my advice if you need to visit be aware to get treated well.

Rooms were clean, room service was prompt and effective. All in all, we loved the hotel and the experience. We were going to a convention in National Harbor and it was about a 15 minute drive, very doable.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel for the week. The room was very well decorated with a colonial feel. The staff were extremely helpful. Room amenities were also very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were the best pillows I've ever had at a hotel. The location was convenient to area restaurants and a grocery store next door. My only complaint is that the air vent in the bedroom blew directly onto my side of the bed. Under the covers it's fine, but if you're lounging on the bed reading a book with the air conditioning on you'll get cold fast.

It's a wonderful facility. Very friendly staff. Onsite restaurant, car rental desk, gift shop, etc. It's also close to the river, Old Town shopping and multiple restaurants. There are bery lovely parks and walking paths nearby as well. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here in October.

Good elite recognition for Marriott status (room upgrade). Check in clerk did seem somewhat too busy to check me in but I also had a front desk clerk who was outstanding which balances it out. Great service in the lounge. I d recommend the hotel, and I would stay again.

The hotel has a great location And great room types but the guest service is that of a motel 6.General manager cares more about currency then your experience at their property.Rooms need to be sanitized handles And most of the surfaces That you would touch are not.

I'm literally laying in the bed at the Sheraton Suites in Old town Alexandria, VA. I simply raised the sheet to turn over and the tv light showed me something between the sheets that I didn't want to see. I am truly disgusted and would never want to stay here again. The furniture is definitely old and needs major upgrades, well that's an understatement. There was trash along the front of my door and down the hallway. The hotel is just disgusting! If I could rate it 0 stars, I would.

Very nice place that is well furnished. The gym is a bit small but has everything you need and the front desk is always willing to accommodate anything you might need. The area is quiet and is located right next to Harris Teeter if you ever need to get anything very quick. The place is fantastic and would I would definitely recommend everyone to stay here if you can!

I was happy with my stay here, the location and building is beautiful, but there were a few small things that could have made it better. I had a larger group with me and we paid for extra people in the room and there wasn't a towel for each person. Outdoors, the grounds are well kept and the location is in close proximity to many attractions in Old Town.

Made reservation online with Bonvoy for one night. Arrive at hotel, have to wrangle my own luggage, only to be told at front desk that "manager has some room problems", making my reservation meaningless. They booked me in a Best Western, miles away.Btw, had to wrangle my luggage back out.
