El Paso Residence Inn Review

I really like the staff here, they made me feel at home. If there we're any issues with the room, they would fix it quickly.
My only issues is the highway noise from the I-10 (if you stay on the side facing the highway) and that damned trash truck (if you stay on the back side) that comes by every Tuesday morning at 4:30a.m.

Very clean, great hospitality, love the room! We will be staying here from now on when we come to El Paso. It is a great place to feel like home away from home.

Very clean, modern suite with everything needed for your stay. Full kitchen with large refrigerator, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. Conveniently located with on-off access to I-10. Nice breakfast buffet included with nightly sponsored snacks and cocktails. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

WARNING DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! They are currently under construction and should not be taking reservations. The rooms are filthy. I have been here two weeks now and they will not put me in another room or clean my room. Dust comes out the vents, the room service only changes out towels and everything else is dirty. There are no locks on the doors around the building. Anyone can come and go at anytime. I'm have got sick while staying here and the manager will still not move me to a different wing of the hotel. Will be calling corporate ad well. Please do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. I will attach photos of current conditions.

I m staying here now and I must say the young lady Jackie at the front desk is very sweet. The staff always has a smile on their faces even at 1:00am in the morning when I m off to work. Thank you for all you do.

Amazing staff that goes out of their way to Exel in customer service.
I travel extensively throughout the year (150+ nights) and this is one of the locations in the top 10 of customer service.

Additionally, breakfast was fresh and contained wide range of options.

This location is pretty nice. It could use a little update. And it is very close to the border, if you're not familiar with El Paso.

The staff is very polite and nice. The room layout is pretty good, but it s an older building and they don t have updated soundproof windows and it s right by the freeway. It s very loud. I asked for the quietest room they can find and they put me in an upper floor with two windows facing the highway I ended up having to be moved, because it was too noisy to sleep.

The room they moved me to was pretty quiet, but there were just a few details that were overlooked that could have improved this stay. The refrigerator was set to the coldest setting, so it froze all of my food and the knob to adjust the temperature was broken off. Some of the dishes were dirty, so I had to rewash things before I could use them. The mattresses in both rooms were slightly worn the first room I was in the mattress sunk in in the middle and was very uncomfortable. The lid to the coffee pot was broken, so I had to fiddle with that each morning.

The air-conditioner didn t work in the fitness center, it was very hot luckily the window opened. There were no weights only two treadmills and an elliptical. The first room I was in the drain for the tub was broken and just laying in the tub basin, not very nice.

The second room was nicer overall than the first, I had an updated cooktop and counters and sink, where the first room a little older with an old coil stove top- so quality varies from room to room.

Overall, this was the least nice and updated of the Marriott properties I have stayed in El Paso. I just think it could use a little updating, the hallways smell a little dingy but the rooms were clean, and the second room I liked a lot more than the first. It has potential to be very nice. I probably won t stay again though unless it s updated more or I have t other options.

Fitness center is a little disappointing. Thats my only complaint. Three machines and the hotel is not located in an area i would want to jog in. Otherwise, The rooms are nice. The beds are comfortable and the social services are convenient.

Very comfortable and well located. It is excellent that the albrrca is open until 12 at night.

The room was relatively loud and not as comfortable compared to other residence inns.

They changed Platinum members for parking in n an out of the way place. They were renovating and did not email until 4 days before. The break fast area was in setup in a temp area with no attend. The milk, juice we're just sitting on counter without ice and was warm. The food ie: ham and eggs were hard and old cereal was stale. Beds were comfortable and the manger gave us 10,000 points because be things were not up to standard. That was the only good stuff.

A great place to stay. High quality rooms and amenities, except for the Wi-Fi, which was shoddy. I would've gave it 5 stars if it wasn't for the lousy Wi-Fi reception.

Great place for a layover. Dog friendly and the breakfast is great.

Location is a bit confusing, room was decent except the unclean shower I nearly died in, Abraham was good enough to have them clean it very well and bring me ice but instead of checking out the next day we were forced to extend our stay due to the pain I was still in after falling in the shower. Not happy we had to pay what felt like extra for 1 night in a studio vs what we had in California though

Clean and quiet. Honest housekeeping. Very good location, about 5-10 minutes drive to many shopoing centers, airport, plazas, zoo, border, etc.

The rooms are okay but there are alot of young children out of control with no parents around...
The door to the outside were broken not a normal Marroitt stay..

This is one of the best Residence Inns we have ever stayed. Clean, courteous staff, make the stay extra special. Rated a five star for sure. Close to stores, shopping.

Very nice hotels could use a little more remodeling and better food for in dining but I like it fine.

Dirty, unsafe area. Random kids knocking on first floor windows. I booked suite with points, they put me in a studio. Bathroom was gross. Wat too little parking. View of Juarez, Mexico.

The staff is awesome, Front desk and Manager as well. The extended pool hours meant I could have dinner then relax.. overall it was a peaceful experience.

Clean room, and the lady's checking me in we're very nice. Coffee is always hot anytime of the day.

2 bedroom suite is amazing for families and the staff is super friendly

It was okay. Best part was the courteous and helpful staff. Room was as expected except for the chemical/mechanical odor in the foyer/kitchen area whenever I entered my room. I informed the front desk and reported it on the website but am not sure it was investigated. Gym AC was apparently not working and I reported this to the front desk as well. Not my favorite stay (and I regularly stay at Marriott properties); I booked a Hilton for my upcoming trip to Denver.

Very clean! Loved the suite we got! The staff is super friendly! Everyone was so great with my 18 month daughter. I would stay here again! They even have a grill on the patio as well as dishes and a dish washer in the suite! Talk about convenience!

First room smelt like an Axe bottle exploded in it, second room smelt like mold and the a/c wouldn't turn on, third room didn't smell, but it's a/c wouldn't come on either. So much for using my Marriott points for a free stay. Wasted. Moving to a different hotel.

The service when we arrived was excellent however they would not clean my room appropriately. We would call the receptionist and they would not delivered the right services.

We had an okay room. The parking situation is not good and you have to pay to park. Breakfast was nasty, cold food with rock hard Canadian bacon, and the milk and juice we're just sitting out on the counter.

rooms had multiple rooms inside. lots of privacy. nice rooms and workers. overall great hotel. 10/10 would recommend.

The rooms were great. The breakfast had so many options and everything was so good! And I couldn't have asked for friendlier staff.

Nice hotel. They don't prioritize room prep. A ton of places to eat and a mall across the street. Easy access to I-10, its right outside of the parking lot. Room was nice. Service was great from check-in to check out. Free breakfast buffet.

Great experience! Weekend with the kids and wife a total hit. Indoor heated pool. Outstanding housekeeping. The suites are very spacious and accomodating. The breakfast is tbe best. The price is 100% worth every pennie.

There are many shops around, traffic is OK, and the rooms are not bad.

Great Hotel, outstanding service and great rooms. If you come to El Paso and are planing to stay more than a few days this is the place to go. Their social hour is really good as it is their breakfast.

Rooms are nice. Right by a freeway,so it's loud depending on what room you get. Bring earplugs just in case. Good customer service.

Clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is great. My only complaint is they keep the air conditioner on in the pool area. When you get out it's freezing! But we'd stay there again.

The hotel was ok, they charge for parking, for no reason, waste of 10$. The room was hot and you couldn't turn the AC on. The hwy noise was awful, will not stay here again.

Spent 8 out of my 10 weeks here so far. Breakfast is ok... not enough variety. The staff is nice. They are quick to fulfill my requests. But the pool area is out of order often. It's frustrating when I want to swim and it's out of order. I'm here for work so I need to be able to relax. The pans are cheap and all the food sticks bad. The dishwasher racks are old, falling apart, and rusting.

Sketchy elevator, no sheets in the room for the pull out sofa bed. Breakfast was notnas good as some other Residence Inn i have stayed at before.

Stayed there from 1/6-1/13, clean rooms, great breakfast. The staff was very helpful whenever I needed assistance or had a question. First time I have stayed in the El Paso area, but I would be very likely to stay there again. Highly Recommend!

The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they didn't have Gluten free bagels, waffles, or English muffins. There are many of us who have to live this way because we have a condition called Celiac which is hereditary! Look it up. I hadn't even heard the word until I was diagnosed 10 years ago. Employees were very considerate when we called to have a blanket replaced after 9 p.m. when my 6 year old grandson threw up. They are animal friendly. Their free breakfast is delicious every day and everything is very clean. They serve a Veggie Scramble which is very tasty. Did I mention there is an indoor swimming pool which the kids love? We will come here again when we come visit family in El Paso.

Pleasant staff, room size was reasonable. Older facility, broken elevator with remaining elevator sounding like it was lacking maintenance with mechanical smell. Not a bad stay, simply a typical highway hotel type of accommodation.

You get sucked in thinking this is a hotel up to Residence Inn standards. Well the standards have gone down, here. They changed hands recently so that is their excuse.The place is run down with everything showing wear. They rooms and suites are small for a Residence Inn. Worst of all, the A/C does not work properly. It freezes up when the temp drops to 69 or 68 degrees and will not get cooler. For me, that is unacceptably warm, particularly at night when I like to sleep under the blankets in a cool room. They say that they are replacing systems "as needed". The whirlpool heater was broke and the unit unuseable.

I would say you should give them a couple of years to get their act together before trying them again. They did not charge me for the hot room, but they did not send me a customer survey either. Guess they knew the result would not be flattering.

Great place to stay. Very clean and nice amenities. Staff and house keeping we're very polite.

Love this hotel, the people at the desk are very nice and I never seen so many workers smiling. I will give a update for this is my 6 days here. Two more months to go. Love it, love it, love it.

Not the service I was expecting from such a prestigious hotel. The room we stayed in was full of cat hair on the couch and bed sheets. When we notified the front desk all she did was offer a refund. We ended up getting way better service at La Quinta Inn. Go figure.

Don't stay here, under construction, no amenities, they didn't even clean my room. The road noise from I-10 is relentless, terrible stay!

Good price for a 2 bedroom with kitchenette. Free breakfast is a plus.

I was not impressed by this Residence Inn. The rooms were fine, housekeeping if their job. The reception was friendly and competent. Breakfast was average, their nightly happy hour was the worst of any Residence I have been to before. The gym was plain and they didn t have a jacuzzi.
