Fantastic hotel. Great staff. Unbelievable breakfast buffet. Our only complaint was the awkward and kind of expensive parking. But, not untypical for a big city. (We're from a much smaller town) All in all a great experience.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Large areas to sit or walk around. Convenient parking garage right across the street (for self parking). They also offer valet service. I was there for an event that was hosted by another company, but would recommend this hotel based on my own experience.

The hotel staff is great. The rooms are huge. There are many great bars and restaurants around the hotel. The rooms are very clean. Can not comment on the food inside the hotel but honestly there's no need to eat on the property when there are so many options near by.

We stayed at the hotel for a conference and it was comfortable and classy. I docked stars because the bathroom doors in the rooms squeak loudly and don't stay open. The water for the shower also took over 10 minutes to get hot.

The room was clean and nicely decorated, but small. There hand towel bars, but none for our bath towels. We paid $20 extra for a fridge. It was about 24" cube. Not much if you REALLY need a fridge. Curbside was easy, check-in counter was not as well organized as it should have been. Good thing it wasn't super busy when we got there. It wasn't a bad experience, just ok

Very nice hotel, but nothing comes included. Internet, parking and breakfast are all extra, which is fine. There are some nearby hotels that include free breakfast and free internet which may be important to some.

Clean enough rooms. A little dated old hotel. Narrow halls. No refrigerator. Limited check in staff... long check in line. Seems like a good location. Lots of government employees with badges around. Limited valet parking... sometimes full. Outdoor pool with handicap lift and 3 lounge chairs, get there early if you want a seat. Soft beds.
Not quite sure what makes this a 4 star hotel.

I cannot state enough how helpful their staff was especially Ms. Jessica at the front desk. We came with a large party of students and she took her time always with a smile to help us navigate the room assignments. I recommend when you stay here that you speak to Ms. Jessica she has customer service skills that are impeccably honed to take the anxiety of hotel stays off your shoulders...

Centrally located. Nice rooms. The bar is very well stocked (had a little nightcap there). The building (exterior) it is in is quite old but is a lovely architectural style. Everything inside is completely up to date though.

A Nice Place

A Nice Place
I'd give this place a 5 but for 2 things - The food (The menu is just too eclectic for me) and an unfortunate incident with the night time Parking Valet.
Room was nice, housekeeping was very good and the staff was accommodating.
The food menu contains way too much "Fancy Nancy" foods. Although the kitchen accommodated my requests for just a normal hamburger, I had to specifically ask for it. Same with just pancakes for breakfast - "We have a nice Buffet Sir" Yes, but I did not want to pay $27 for 3 pancakes and coffee.

The hotel has a Club Level however it is really just a room to have a snack and some coffee. They have a really cool coffee machine though!

There is quite a homeless problem near the hotel but the hotel seems to have plenty of security - near the hotel property.

The exercise room was marvelous. I mean totally modern machines and plenty of them along with free weights. Great place! The pool? Meh. Not heated enough and in need of repair.

I must say, Yvonne at the front desk and Joe the Daytime Parking Valet Supervisor was superb. Also, the staff at Morgans went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Christian - The Night Valet Supervisor needs to find another vocation. This young man has no business interacting with guests. I've shared the details with his supervisor and my hope is Christian will be reassigned or at the very least receive some customer service training. (Arguing with a guest, accusing me of racism is unjustified and was way out of line)

Again, a nice hotel. I'd stay there again but probably would self-park.

This is the worst lodging experience that I have ever had, to be honest. No complaints about the location and the check-in process - it was quick an easy; however, what has happened next cannot be a standard for a 4-star hotel.

We have arrived to Sacramento for a local event. Upon checking in, we dropped our bags and left the room. After the event, we came back and rested for 30 minutes on top of the sheets (this is important).

As we were ready to go out, we discovered that one of the beds hid an unexpected fecal matter that looked like a skid mark on the sheet under the cover.

We were not able to contact the front desk or service, as the room phone did not work. Thus, we waited for 20 minutes downstairs, as the understaffed front desk personnel was trying to help multiple large groups.

Once we explained our shituation to Nathan Wakeen, Director of Front Office, he has reached out to the cleaning crew supervisor to address the issue. He has informed us that it will be taken care of, so we can leave for now and "figure it out the rest later".

When we came back later that night, the issue was addressed, though we had to double check the other bed as well.

In the morning, when I talked to Nathan again, he has informed me that the cleaning supervisor looked at the freshness of the matter last night and determined that it was not due to the cleaning crew s oversight or fault. Therefore, it was insinuated and hinted that we were the ones responsible for this!

This is simply outrageous! I definitely did not expect the outcome like this, especially given that this is not a budget motel and they should have much higher standards.

I will not ever stay there again and would advise everyone else to stay away!

Poor customer service with extremely long wait times (left on hold for over an hour). Even after the hour long wait, the staff was robotic and made it a very difficult to book a reservation using my hard earned bonus points - even as a Gold Member with >2 years tenure as a member.

Came here for a work conference. The facilities and the conference rooms were very well kept and the staff very helpful.the rooms were a little on the cold side but other than that very professional and clean.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of amenities are provided within the hotel itself. The room service was a bit on the expensive side but worth the convenience after a long day of travel. I would certainly stay here again.

I am doing this review based on the service I have experienced during nursing conferences I have attended here over the years.
The Staff here are very kind and helpful. The food served is consistently good and the conference rooms conducive to learning.
There is a garage across the Hotel which is convenient and they validate our ticket during the conference. It is only done for this one garage and no other so be mindful of that. I do not know if that is for every conference held here or dependent on case to case basis. They have valet parking as well like other Hotels.

We usually stay at the embassy suites when we come for symposium every august which by the way is amazing but they switched it after 4 years there to Sheraton smh being cheap I guess umm where do I start the pool was under construction no jacuzzi you have to pay 22 dollars for breakfast when you pay over 130 for a hotel room you expect your breakfast to be free smh I guess not. Only thing that i enjoyed for 2 days was the fitness room trying to get my mile time under 13 min.

I've been here more than once for meetings in the main ballroom. Hotel is spacious and classy. I love the copious seating on the main floor to sit and relax or talk to friends and colleagues. Parking is convenient just across the street. I did not stay here but location is very central!

Bunk in with a friend staying here. The hotel very nice and reasonable parking hard but I I beleiave hotel customers can still park their cars in the garage across the street for a better deal the area feel fairly safe it was very busy with com goers. Unfortunately I forgot to take some pics but I may be back for the summer con!

Very nice hotel. Check in and valet is fast. Our rooms were clean and we'll kept. Our room came with an empty small refrigerator, great for storing our kids snacks, was an unexpected bonus. Downstairs Lobby has a bar and restaurant. The gym is adequately stocked with machines and free weights while the 4th floor rooftop swimming pool small for the venue and lacks a jacuzzi. The hotel's location is in the heart of Sacramento and is conveniently located within walking distance to most restaurants and attractions, which is the primary reason for my booking my stay here. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will stay here again. Highly recommended.

No fridge, no microwave, room was super hot and ac wouldn't keep up even set at 66. Lacked in bathroom had to request, room was small with 2 doubles for being in a "suite" on the 12th floor. Cable TV was limited (no Disney channels) had to pay for wifi, and pay for parking (25.00 a day). For people who were fleeing the fire that were military, could have provided them with free wifi my opinion. For being a "pet friendly hotel" they had no place for dogs to "go".

We came from Tahoe and made a late decision to stay in Sacto since the snow storm coming over the Pass was unexpected and a bit hairy! Ended up eating in their bar and it was surprisingly delicious! The waiter was a very kind young man whom we enjoyed very much. The valet guy was very nice as well. Very impressive young man! Very kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again! Oh, and right by the Promenade, so a great place to walk our doggie, even let him run a bit off leash. :)

Very nice, great hospitality, room keys were an on going challenge for us being they said deactivated which was an big inconvenience. Loved the bay windows offering an fabulous view of the city.

Stopped in for drinks with a friend who was staying overnight. Welcomed warmly even though I wasn't the guest. The rooms were immaculate, the facities were gorgeous. The bar was very nice. Upscale but not intimidating. Plan a stay of my own soon.

We stayed with a large group. Someone else was suppose to take care of my room charges. Hotel charged my card instead of theirs. We tried multiple times to contact the accounting dept, voicemail & email, and they **never** responded. I couldn't even get a copy of my receipt.

I was attending a large event at the convention hall across the street, and still the Sheraton staff was helpful and the bartender was super courteous and remembered me. I was impressed with the customer service given to someone who wasn't even a customer! thank you.

Went on a conference & my employer pd. for for the room. My credit card was charged for the 3 nights. It's been over 3 wks. and yet have not received credit on my credit card. I call several times and i am told credit in coming... sooo dissatisfied.

Great stay. My only small criticism is that they are short staffed on busy weekends. ( one line to check in people and get guests sorted out ) When they are really busy, weekend staff gets overwhelmed. This was the same hotel we stayed at 2 years in a row. Great and kind staff. We will stay here again. We had a great view in room 1631. Very relaxing and helpful concierge and parking staff ( Thanks Rolando!)

This is a business hotel. I have been here many times. Rooms are OK. Food is OK. The service is very good. The public spaces are great and the beer at the bar is reasonably priced. When I have a choice, I prefer to stay at the citizens hotel about a block away.

Went to a wedding at the hotel. The food was better than expected for typical hotel food. Nice decor inside. Parking options are expensive. About $30 for valet and $12 for self parking across the street. Ended up parking a block away for $5 on the weekend.

Was charged $50 incidental charge for carry out food was not told when I checked out at restaurant. Credit card fraud beware of there scam there. Got $50,back several days later no apologies from hotel management. Room was dirty especially under tv table in room not worth the money

Accomodations are adequate but nothing all that special. Never had a credit returned for having my dog here for one night in a kennel (with no damage whatsoever). Rooms are pretty dark, and the bar is quite pricey, but it's an interesting part of town and within walking distance of a lot. You know what you're going to get, and is very much so a convention hotel.

Great service. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Bed was incredibly comfortable. I didn't care that the hotel was so pricey and you still had to pay to use the in room wifi. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Close to convention, decent staff and turnaround time. I've only been at this hotel for conventions so I am not sure on how much more improved service could be upheld on less busy times. Cons: even at a 5 star, I will not ding because of amenenities it doesn't provide. Fridge and microwave should be standard, wifi should be standard. Shouldn't have to pay for extra.

What was great? The concierge was terrific. When I asked about walking to a Walgreens after dark, he advised me against it for my safety. He gave me some good recommendations and was very helpful.
The hotel has a water saving program and if you participate, the maid comes every 3 days instead of daily, so they were environmentally friendly. In exchange for participating, they gave us a card each day that was good for either $5 off food or beverages in any of their food venues or 500 club points. I thought it odd that there were no towel bars in the bathroom though, since people participating in the water-saving program would need to hang up their towels to reuse them.
Their pillows were wonderful. They have 2 kinds of pillows on the beds: down alternative and a feather/down alternative mix. I loved the mixed pillow.
They have a fitness room with up-to-date equipment, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a Starbucks coffee shop, and a bar; and for certain guests they have a club room. There were ice machines on each floor.
The rooms were nice - I had a king-sized bed, a small table with a comfortable chair, a window seat, and a nice city view. There was even a retractable clothes line in the bathroom.

The bad? Only some rooms had refrigerators and there were no microwaves. Maybe I'm showing my middle-class roots, but if moderately priced hotels provide refrigerators and microwaves--it seems like a given that higher-priced hotels would provide the same amenities. I had to chill bottled water one bottle at a time in an ice bucket. Since some members of my 44-member group had refrigerators, I requested a refrigerator for my room, but I was told there weren't any; however, a few days later I encountered an employee who was delivering a refrigerator to another room on my floor.
The television service was so-so. After the first day, the on-screen guide didn't work and several channels had been removed from the line-up. I guess they don't expect their guests to spend much time in their rooms watching TV.
There were beverage vending machines on about four floors of the 25-floor hotel. A sign on the 2nd floor indicated where the machines could be found, including in the fitness room, but I couldn't find one there. One machine only accepted cash, but wouldn't take my bills, so I had to go to another floor in search of a different machine.

Despite repeated tries I simply could not get anyone to answer their front desk. The phone just rang and rang. This was not at an odd hour but 6:30 pm last night. A half hour after trying and then waiting and trying again I went downstairs only to wait in line. Thankfully a nice gentleman was helpful with my questions, what time was check out and a question about the Wi-Fi. Later that evening I discovered there was no shampoo so I tried the same routine. I got the same results except this time I just gave up. Terrible service and this was my first time staying there.

This is a great location near the airport, around places to eat and old town.
The rooms are pristine and tidy. The quality of the hotel inside is very nice.
However, the area is a bit sketchy but that is nobody's fault... Homeless have nowhere else to go therefore they flood around the parks and stores.

This review is only for conference facility and food/snacks during the conference. Conference rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The temperature was good. Had conference lunch which was surprisingly good, from the salad to the entree (beef) and the dessert (cheesecake). Overall, a good experience.

I attended a work dinner at this hotel. Their banquet facility was nice and their staff friendly. Their food was decent catering food and above-average, but not very memorable. Also the cash bar was overpriced.

By far the best hotel on our road trip. The service was impeccable and the buffet breakfast was a delight to wake up for! The only downside was that our room smelled quite musty, but we were so tired that we were able to get past it quite easily. This hotel has made Sacramento the best town on our trip thus far, would love to return some day.
