OVERALL: Enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a bit dated and not refrigerator, but comfortable beds and very clean with large bathroom.

The furnishings in the room are showing their age, but it was a nice room. Can't understand why the TV was not on a swivel since it was off center to the room. WiFi posed some issues, but a phone call to the desk got us going. There needs to be a refrigerator (now standard in rooms in this price range) in the room.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, but more people at the front desk at peak times would be nice.

The Hotel is extremely convenient to the Convention Center, and the lobby is "alive" during events.

Very disappointed to pay $32/day for parking.

I can't honestly give 5 stars because I have not stayed there like room wise. However, the lobby is beautiful and the Napa flatbread at the restaurant is delicious I would definitely recommend it and the garlic fries.

The hotel was awesome to stay in. The only thing that could have been better is the bedding. The sheets were stained and the mattresses were too soft. Other than that I would recommend this hotel. The food was really good.

The Sheraton Grand is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Sacramento. I have attended may conferences here and my experiences have always been very positive. The catered food is tasty, and the staff has lays been more than accommodating to my kosher and gluten-free friends. Some of the meeting rooms are a little small and can get quite warm and cozy, but work great for conferences with less than 200 people. Interiors are clean and up to date, too!

Very nice hotel with great rooms. The bar was fairly cheap and made some strong drinks. The concierge answered all my questions perfectly in regards to where to eat and where to run

Great staff, wonderful rooms. It was a bit busy at the hotel so the wait for the elevator was quite long and my rest was frequently interrupted by constant chattering in the hallway. Overall, it was a great stay.

Worst experience I've ever had with Marriott. Checked in immediately checked out, whole property looked like this, room was not what we asked for and AC did not work and staff was rude and unhelpful. Refused to give refund even tho we were in the room for 10 min. Shame on you Sheraton Grand!

I m a Gold member and was treated with VIP service! Upon check in, the agent was so pleasant. She thanked me for being a Gold member and offered to upgrade my room. It s the small things that matter to me and the staff here was AMAZING!!

The valet parking lane can fill up quickly but the staff is nice and hustle. The check in staff is a bit slow but friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bar is great and the staff was awesome there to. I was there for an event and had an excellent time

We were recently a part of a corporate event hosted at this hotel. We had an excellent experience! The lunch buffet was delicious. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful - going above and beyond for anything we needed. We hope to have another event at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento in the future.

Plenty of conference rooms to book. Attended a large conference dinner of about 200 and there was basic bar service with plenty of food. Food was simple, mostly finger food but filling if you get enough.

Meeting venue was good, but the food provided by the hotel for lunch was not good at all. I don't mind if the protein is a smaller portion, because usually there is something filling accompanying it. Both meals I had included just: a small protein, two bite-sized pieces of vegetable, and a small ice cream scoop portion of a grain. Not good at all.

Arrived with a LONG line at reception (20+ people) within a minute, staff brought out water to offer people waiting in line. Room was immaculate, nice view of the city, bed was comfortable, good amenities and a great location.

This is quite a cute hotel. The staff was friendly and kind during the check in process. Check in was quick and efficient. As a Platinum member, I was upgraded to a very nice suite. The location is right in the centre of everything. It is very convenient to the convention centre. Parking is a bit expensive. The club lounge is too small for the amount of people who had privileges.

i have stayed here several times. It is solid hotel. Last night i sat at the bar around dinner time. The service was FAST. I really like it when the server comes over as soon as you sit down and they were ready to take my drink before my bottom touched the seat. They continued great service for refills and appetizers. Pretty good food and ok beer selection.

Excellent service. Rooms were clean and the actual building is quite nice inside. Huge open space in the lobby with a nest bar and restaurant. The single room was nothing special. Good location right in downtown Sacramento.

Overall good hotel if needing to stay in downtown Sacramento. Here are the pluses: easy access and friendly staff, prices are high buy slightly lower than nearby properties. I was a little disappointed in the rooms. If by myself or just one other person there would have been plenty of room. Options for families and larger rooms are somewhat lacking. Most rooms with two beds only have full.size beds, no queens. The club floor food was on point with a special about out to Jan who was a very nice and efficient attendant at club level.

One of the more decent hotels I have stayed. The bed by itself is worth it. Clean, friendly and decently priced.

Nice hotel in the heart of downtown. Walking distance from the Capitol Building. The parking lot key wasn't working for 5 days straight, a bit of a pain to get in and out of the lot. Hopeful they fix that's soon. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly

I have been to many conferences here and always enjoy the stay. The facilities are nice and the parking is convenient although certainly not free. Great service. I have never eaten at the hotel so I cannot comment on the restaurant.

Old noisy Sheraton. Maids slamming doors at 8am!! Will not give platinum elite club access because of the rate we paid. Nickel and Dime. How much for a cup of coffee, jeez. Stay somewhere they care about you and your rest. Mold growing out of 10/17 ac filter. Nice. Security wise you are 2 blocks from many homeless sleeping and going to the bathroom on the street. Coming back to the hotel there was no one at the entrance and there is no security to get up to the guest rooms. Only need to swipe room key to get to the top floor, where the coffee is. Workout room is average at best and the small closed in pool is unusable. Hey Marriott can you hear me now!!

I will remember not to order food 5 minutes before close. I could tell Taylor didnt appreciate it. Everyone was very nice. My room was sweeeeeet!!!!

Very friendly and attentive staff. Attended large community event and the staff was courteous and accommodating the whole way through. Great place for our large event.

I didn't have to pay for this hotel; it's a bit on the pricy end. It was, however, an amazing stay. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well. The shower had hot water and was not small like most showers in other hotels. The fitness center was typical of most hotels. They had the basic machines needed for a quick workout. The pool was a bit on the small end and there was no Jacuzzi. Staff was super friendly and very helpful the last day that I stayed with them. Upon arrival the attendant seemed to have run across some issues, but she figured it out.

Overall I would rate this hotel as a great place to stay for those that have the extra cash on hand.

Everyone here has been really hospitable! It was really easy to get checked in and everyone is really helpful.

I was there for SacAnime Summer 2018 and I felt they had organized the whole lobby for everyone to maneuver very easily without getting in the normal residents' way.

Great city center hotel, I only stayed over a single night but the stay was comfortable, quiet, and hassle free. Parking was located around the corner from the hotel, convenient enough for me. The view from the 15th floor was great.

Sheraton Grand is an iconic structure in the heart of Downtown. It is strategically located and has a certain amount of grandiose that one can only experience by staying here. Levels 25 and 26 offers a great view of the city and the restaurants onsite are chic. Front desk staff sometimes is overwhelmed by the deluge of guests but it's worth the wait!

The location of the hotel is great, close to lots of restaurants and old town, as well as the convention center. The rooms are large and clean with nice amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's only a 12-15 minute drive from the airport, so very convenient.

This hotel is a 12 minute drive from the airport and it's close to Old Town. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are large and clean. The only downfall is there are some people living on the sidewalk right outside the hotel at night. There are a lot of restaurants in walking distance but I didn't have the opportunity to try any of them. The staff was super friendly and helped us with our bags.

Great location but the rooms need an upgrade. Hopefully they upgrade their fitness center too.

Anytime your server(s) are consultative in helping you find a nice mix of food and beer, there s a good chance it will be a good experience. Kristina and Jessica directed me toward the massive chicken nachos (only $13?!, yes please!) and toward a tasty IPA I had never tried. Strong recommendations and excellent bar top service. They sent me on my way with a smile on my face.

Room had nice view the city. Excellent customer service. Went out of the way to ensure I had pleasurable stay.

Good rates for business meetings. Valet parking available, do it your self parking requires somewhat of a walk.

Great location, responsive staff and wondrous atmosphere

I think this was my first time at a Sheraton, and somehow, we were given a corner room on the top floor. We had to swipe the room key in the elevator to access it. Fancy! We had asked for a rollaway for our 5 yr old, both at the time of the reservation and upon check-in, but after being in the room for about an hour, we got a call saying we couldn't have one due to fire hazard laws. Why didn't anyone mention it before? Anyway, other than that, the room was nice, shower was super strong. Lobby had a Starbucks, which isn't my favorite, but it'll do. We ate breakfast on the second floor, since we were downtown and there aren't many options on a Sunday. And the fact that it's Sacramento in the middle of the summer, I'd say the rates were higher than they should have been.

About 12-15 minutes from airport. Decent location near downtown. Nice little rose garden only an 8 minute walk away. Most comfortable bed and pillows.

I visited Sacramento for a professional conference, and most of the served lunch and dinners were held at the Sheraton's Grand Nave Ballroom. The room was as nice as any banquet hall. The restrooms were clean. The food and service was decent, considering they had to serve hundreds of people.

Stayed on the club floor in order to use the club room to meet with colleagues. The nominal upgrade of $40 was well worth it. The guest room was comfortable, but not spectacular. No complaints.

Love the rooms at this hotel. I'm there 4 - 5 times a year. However the service at the front desk is the slowest I have ever experienced at a hotel. I would prefer to stay at a different hotel and do when I book my hotel and not my office because of the poor service at the front desk.

Not a new hotel but it is very well kept, not to mention great deals on the rate. It was a pleasant surprise to be greeted by the chief at breakfast bar. You should stay here if in this area.

Aesthetics this hotel is a 5. They decorate it amazing for the holiday. It looks amazing, the hotel rooms are nice and modern, tv is on the wall. However, the front desk reception leaves much to be desired. They are so dry with their hospitality towards their guests. I checked in and I get all the way to my room and the key doesn't work because someone else is occupying it. I call down for someone to get me another key and was advised someone would bring me a key right up..... 10 minutes later I call back and now I am told that I will have to wait for another 10 minutes for someone to bring it up to me and that I will get it quicker if i come down and get it.. Okay! I take myself and my luggage back to the front desk and while I am there I overhear (eavesdrop) that another guest was told his hot water would be working but 12 hours later it still hasn't been fixed.. and about both incidents they didn't seem to care who was inconvenienced. They need to do better

My husband and I stayed here over a weekend and the room was adequate. There were stains on the walls and tapestries but I wasn t too bothered by it. After all, it is an older hotel. The bed was clean and they even covered the tv remote with a plastic bag to combat germs, which I appreciated. When greeted upon arrival, the receptionist appeared tired and short-tempered. He wasn t welcoming at all. But we had a comfortable stay and check-out was a breeze... That was until I checked my bank statements. I checked Monday morning and everything matched up with my receipt given to me via email. The next day I checked my bank account again and noticed I had an additional charge from the Sheraton with an additional $50 tacked on. Immediately, I called the hotel and the representative couldn t explain the double charge. She said it was just a mistake when I asked why I would be double charged. She never apologized. She even said it could be because they attempted to charge me for a deposit. Isn t a deposit to be taken out BEFORE or UPON arrival? And a deposit was never mentioned on my receipt which I signed and authorized. I never received an additional document stating their attempt to take double the money owed. I m highly dissatisfied. I m recommending to my friends, who visit Sacramento and stay at this hotel frequently, to be very wary when booking or to not stay here at all.

Too loud. All day and night long too much noise. Do not take a room ending with 09. Too close to ice machine and maids closet.

I was attending an event while visiting this hotel and the hotel staff left water available and was very helpful with questions when I didnt know where to go. Very clean and nice too, I wish I stayed here for the event!

Excellent location for our destination but rooms were very basic, not the cleanest with wonky hot/cold water. The pool was also closed which was inconvenient traveling with children. I might stay again but won't make a point of it.

I have not stayed in the rooms as I only attended an event there. In fact, over the last three years I have attended several professional events at the Sheraton and have found each experience consistently excellent in terms of customer service and ambiance. The hotel is beautiful and clean, and the staff always on hand to answer any questions. It is the kind of experience one would expect to see in a movie. I look forward to attending conferences at the Sheraton more than any other venue in Sacramento.

Hotel was not worth the price. Their 30$ night pay to park garage is not secure. My suv was broken into and my things got stolen. The manager excuse was that there are more homeless around there ever. Hire more security. Place more security cameras. This is so upsetting.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Give room service a 15-minute grace period on room deliveries. Apparently they don't deliver at exact times.

Other than the parking situation being completely awful and there being bo fridge in my room our stay was nice. Room service food was excellent.

Really disappointed by this stay with the Sheraton. I definitely feel like we did not get what we paid for....the room had a strange smell we there was toenail clippings on the ground, weird stains on the sheets and comforter. When we asked for new covers we were told they were "fresh out of blankets"...you have to pay extra for wifi, for a fridge, for parking and there's no microwave...for over 400 dollars for 3 nights

I've been staying here for almost 18 years. This property has consistently been above average, even by Sheraton standards, which I consider to be better than their reasonable competition. You cannot go wrong choosing to stay here. A true class act.

Avoid this Marriot. I stayed here, the Westin, and the Citizen. PILLOWS SUCK! Right when you sleep on them they sink all the way, and the sides hug your cheeks. Did not have 1 good sleep here. Also, if you have allergies, avoid this hotel because I was very allergic here compared to no allergies while staying in above other 2 hotels.
