My home away from home..... love that the hot tub is open 24 hours, it s a nice treat after a long flight . Club floor is the best place to stay . Dealt with Greg MacNeil director of operations, he ensured my stay had no flaws. Thank you , will definitely return when back in Toronto.

Unpleasant stay in every way. Started off when my Uber dropped me off in the freezing weather at the parkade elevator. Elevator said 2nd or 5th floors would take me to the hotel. It only took me to the open parkade space. Called the hotel (still freezing!) and they were unable to direct me to where I needed to go from there. How do you not know where to go from the elevator when you work at this hotel? Put me on hold while I acquired frostbite on my fingers so the hotel worker could find someone from the bell desk to direct me. Had to finally just walk back to the airport and have airport staff direct me where to go. After I finally made it to the hotel, I was standing in line while someone stood in front of a computer avoiding eye contact with me. When I got tired of waiting for him to acknowledge me (aren't they referred to as "guest service agents?"), he informed me that his computer was down and he was waiting for it to restart. You couldn't have told me that while I was waiting? Then I proceeded to watch them take all the people from the SPG member line up before me... cause it seems to be my fault that their computer system is down...? Did I mention I'm 7 months pregnant and carrying luggage? After watching 4 other people get helped before me, the computer miraculously restarted and I was able to get checked in. No offer for bag assistance. No apologies for the wait. Got to my room - starving. No room service menu. Called Room Service. They offered to bring me a menu, but I couldn't wait the hour or more it would take for that, so she read me the menu on the phone. I ordered a steak, salad and a dessert. What a mistake! First of all, my bill came to $112!!!! ONE HUNDRED AND TWELVE DOLLARS! And no, this isn't a Ruth Chris in this hotel. $7 delivery charge, $43 for the worst "rib eye" I've ever had in my life (about 4 mm thick), $14 for an appetizer Caesar salad, $12 for the chocolate torte, which literally looked like a turd on my plate. Service charge of $10.35 - not pointed out to me, so I left a tip, then $11.23 for tax. Should have probably asked the prices, but I didn't think they would be fine dining prices for an airport hotel. Plus was too tired and cold after the whole ordeal I went through just to get to my room. Worst meal ever after a horrible check in experience. Room was outdated, noisy. Friend recommended to stay at the other airport hotel (ALT) for next visit to TO. I will take her advice, considering it's very apparent after reading consistent one star reviews that management is not interested in actually rectifying the situations presented to them, but just seeming responsive by acknowledging their bad online comments and proceeding to do nothing about it. Way to go!

This hotel is nice. Like the decor is great. The elevator is pretty fast. It's really close to the airport. The beds are nice. The view is what you would expect a airport hotel to have, seeing planes or the cars coming to the airport.

Really like the location, layout and atmosphere. Good wine and fun craft beer choices. Food just wasn't what we would have expected and friendlier service would have even nice. So overall, a good spot for drinks.

The proximity of the hotel to the airport takes it all. Although, getting in and out can be frustrating sometimes since its the airport. All the rooms are well maintained and the staff is very helpful as well. All in all a good deal

A family friend stayed here during a stop over and we had dinner at the hotel. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. Seemed knowledgeable about the menu and helped us pick out some great choices. The room seemed spacious enough and had the usually amenities. Not sure if I'd be willing to pay that much for a nights stay but for the convenience of the location and the early flight time, kinda balanced itself out.

The location is convenient if you are transit as it is attached to the airport. I had one of the worst experiences in the immigration due to the narrow mindedness of the staff who consider everyone as an immigrant! The rooms are dated but the front desk staff were friendly.

Hotel is old and in need of renovations. Rooms seem dated and could use an update. Rust is visible on hinges on the washroom doors and carpet could be changed. Room had an odor to it. Service is nothing special at all. I would not stay here at all.

Professional staff that genuinely care about customer needs. A big thank you to Jason Relich, one of the managers' at the hotel, for the correct guidance and help. Very honest people. Would recommend the hotel to all travellers like myself.

Booked via HotWire and was pleased with this recommendation! Great location, beautiful clean rooms with a nice view, shuttle to airport was frequent and on time, restaurant was yummy and the lobby was big and modern. Will go back if I ever have another overnight layover in TO. :)

The bed was falling apart underneath and very uncomfortable, the carpet old and dirty, the bathroom had cracks all through the floor and walls. For the very expensive price of a room next to an airport and departure road it was very disappointing. I wont stay here again.

Quality comfort rooms. Nice pool and really good food at the in house restaurant. Conveniently close to the airport. Good breakfast. Great beds and clean rooms. Great view of the airport.

We checked in late, after 8 p.m. and paid $370 for the room in advance. We were given a room that had not been cleaned. The beds were unmade, and dirty wine glasses, coffee cups, and towels littered the room. We then waited about 40 minutes still without a room. I had to go to the front desk and we were offered $50 room service for compensation. Out of that you have to pay a $7 charge and 15% gratuity and 15% taxes and it was for 4 people! Highly disgusted and disappointed in the Sheraton/Marriott.

Excellent location, staff go out of their way to be helpful. Easy access to public transportation to get around the city and not need a cab. Amazingly quiet despite its location. Has the hustle and bustle at times of an airport hotel but mostly relaxing. Bonus that Starbucks is right close by.

Review for the Hotel's Bar - Mahogany Bar

Review for the Hotel's Bar - Mahogany Bar

The Bacon Cheeseburger at Mahogany Bar is a standard cheeseburger that I ordered while waiting for a flight. The bun, beef, bacon, and cheese are well executed and it is served with an above average order of fries. Overall, the atmosphere at Mahogany Bar provided a great experience, but nothing on the burger stood out enough to make it exceptional.

Booked a room last minute for a work conference taking place at the International Conference Centre. Was charged $551 for a 1-night stay in a standard room (checked-in at 9pm; checked out at 6:30am the following morning).

I got my room keys, they placed me on the 7th floor as I have SPG status. My key card worked in the Elevator however when I got to my room my key card didn't work. Went back down to the reception to fix it and the same thing happened. I then had to go back to reception a third time to get a new key card.

After I finally got through the terrible smell in the hallways of the 7th floor and into my room to drop-off my bag I asked the Concierge for a Cab to drive me from the hotel to the International Conference Centre (2.2km away) so I could set up for the conference. The Cab charged me $32!

This hotel is nothing but a money grab, which is a shame. Will not stay again.

Old rooms. Comfortable enough but you have to pay for WiFi...? This hotel is stuck in the past. $30+ for "Belgium waffles" that are the same ones you can make yourself at most free continental breakfasts. Sooo overpriced. They are ripping people off here... I guess that's what you get for the convenience of being steps to the airport terminal.

Loved it! Staff were all exceptional. We booked joining rooms with king beds, upgraded to Club Level service and enjoyed a basket of treats brought to our room (with a handwritten note from the manager). The 8th floor lounge / complimentary breakfast in the morning were delightful as was the view of the T3 Apron (runway view), which kept the kids entertained. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean. No complaints whatsoever =))

The food was amazing! It was a bit on the expensive side but well worth the price. Very well cooked! The atmosphere was nice as well. Just a good experience all around! For anyone staying at the hotel or just passing through and wants a nice place to eat, it's a good stop to check out!

We always stay in this hotel when we travel through Toronto airport. The hotel is easy to reach, either by walking from terminal 3 or taking a short free train ride from terminal 1. The rooms are typical in size, with King beds, flat screen TVs, charging ports, coffee/tea makers, safe, free wireless, writing desk, clock, bench for your baggage, comfy chair and ottoman. Upgraded rooms on the 8th floor include Google Chromecast device, slightly larger rooms and an on-floor lounge with reading material, TVs and buffet-style food service. The lobby restaurant has a varied menu, quick service and tasty food, but the convenience will cost you with above average prices. The rooms are clean, with towels and bedding that do not show any wear and tear. The only negative I would note is that the rooms we have stayed in could use some updating, especially the carpet and bathrooms. Overall, if you need a hotel at the Toronto airport, you should definitely consider Sheraton Gateway.
