Very expensive, usually a long wait to register at the desk, really should improve that, consistently slow service is frustrating

The rooms are very nice and quiet.
The lounge is family friendly and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The pool is nice but the restaurant menu is very limited.
Parking is good with in and out privileges
The service of Sheraton Gateway Hotel was great with the conference room.
A pleasantly amazing stay. Requested a room with a runway view, and they did not disappoint. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and a "fresh air" smell was present throughout the entire facility. The pool/change area could use some updating, however. My only caveat was with the sundries store, run by a rather rude short man of middle-Eastern descent, who proceeded to ask my wife what she was doing there and why she wasn't buying anything. Ummm, perhaps because she was only looking around? Also, he's out to lunch on his prices. No customer service skills at all, kept closing and re-opening the store at all kinds of weird hours, even well past midnight? This guy needs a talking to, or simply dismissed because he's obviously in the wrong business... Otherwise, an amazing stay for an early morning flight out of YYZ. Got a fantastic deal too.
Bar and dining area is a bit dated but location and service were great! Would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in need of a quick drink before your flight
Nice and big room!!! Breakfast at the Club lounge the best!!!
Love staying here. Great staff, food and clean rooms. Convenience of a hop on and arrive in two minutes link train from Terminal One, is a breeze.
I was stuck at the airport after flight delays caused us to miss our connecting flight. The hotel staff set us up in a great room overlooking the runway so my young kids could watch planes land and take off.
I love the hotel but what in the world is up with the menus and food choice ! I m not picky at all but this is the worst menu ever such off random food items .
It is convenient because it is directly connected to the airport. The staff is friendly and feels good. The rooms are kept clean, but old age is a concern. WiFi or Pay is now. It is free if you make a reservation with a SPG member.
Professional though not terribly inspired service. Location is amazing and you get the traditional Sheraton bed (which I think is great) and even a 24-hour fitness centre with a pool. Can't be beat for travel from Toronto Pearson.
Located at the airport and connected to the airport by monorail, so a good hotel for early morning flights. Facilities were a normal level.
Visited for drinks with friends. Expectedly, exploitatively expensive drinks and food. The blueberry tea I ordered was $11 but the ratio of Amaretto:Gran Marnier was off, and was served in a rather small glass/not an appropriate sniffer. The $19 mushroom and blue cheese burger was actually quite good, however, and salvaged the experience.
We stayed here because of a layover at Pearson. This is a more pricey hotel but the location is extremely convenient- literally a 2 minute walk from terminal 3. The staff are very professional and friendly!
If you are sensitive to sound you may want to avoid this hotel because you can hear the planes landing/taking off- that s to be expected since it s an airport hotel.
The hitell staff was great and the rooms are absolutely wonderful. Best beds!
The best thing about staying at this hotel is that you can literally walk inside to the Terminals. The service is a 5, rooms are quite nice too. The bathroom is the reason i didnt give 5 The shower needs a handheld shower and the makeup mirror is really short. Minor but important.
Woah! I loved spending the weekend here! My friends dad had flown in for the weekend and invited me to join them. He had access to the eighth floor, the executive level. We had our own all inclusive bedroom and we were not disturbed. The best part was the fact that the floor we were on had its own lounge and breakfast spot, so we didn't have to go downstairs to eat breakfast. The view overlooked the airport and as someone who loves to travel, I was on cloud 9! The only downside to the stay was the concierge mixed up her dads payment and he was very upset. We got complementary parking tickets on the house because of that. Nothing spectacular, but at least I drove off with extra cash in my purse LOL
I only stopped here between flights, but I can tell you the bar staff was top notch! Excellent service and very attentive. The burger and fries was up quick, even late night, and very tasty!
Theres a good selection of Scotches where you can buy a flight to sample, which is quite cost effective and worth the experience.
Best start point for vacations.
I stayed there to avoid wake up during the night and drive with bad weather during the winter.
It was great, I arrived the day before my vacations with my family.
The hotel is simple but have a good room. Best off all is that it is located inside the airport, a few steps from chek-in.
The restaurant is very good to simple food, and the staff are very receptive.
Staff were good. No room service for food after 1 really sucks when travelling. Safe didn't work however staff did find a solution.
Quiet, considering your so close to the airfield. Friendly and helpful service.
The best choice for airport hotels save the cab fare. Eat at the airport thought food costs are exorbitant! Pool and hot tub are great and open 24/7.
It was wonderful staying there. Very professional service.
The location is close enough to check the flight in real time to the airport. One minute to the airport is enough~^^
The bed was very comfortable, and the in-house restaurant was good for a quick breakfast.
The breakfast coffee in the lobby was even decaffeinated, so I was very satisfied!!
I came suddenly late at night, and the Korean staff responded very kindly and responded to all of them by laughing at each little thing until the next morning. Our family was enough to call the staff member as the guardian deity of luck.
Home away from home . Visited this hotel last in August . Was greeted by Greg ( director of operations) in the lobby . We came to hotel for lunch due to major snow storm in yyz and this man made us forget it was even snowing and a blizzard outside. Thank you so much for your hospitality, it makes traveling so much better . Looking forward to our stay on our way back in a week . Thank you . So much professionalism and courtesy at Sheraton gateway . Well done .
Wonderful dining experience! Food was tasty, serving person was personable and helpful in choosing from the menu, and the company was delightful! I finally connected face to face with a dear friend... what took us so long? My treat next time!
Rooms were clean with nice furniture. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom clean. Staff were friendly. Food was a bit expensive but tasty. Rooms a bit outdated with carpet and bathroom.
While I appreciate the location and realize I am paying for convenience... I don't appreciate the price tag when the staff and service is terrible. Creative thinking has apparently gone by the wayside. The room was painfully hot and no option to turn the air or fan on. The tub was brown... Seriously at nearly 500$ a night... Get some new tubs. I know a guy!
The bar service was atrocious... I work in hospitality so I can appreciate being busy and am typically pretty lenient...it wasn't busy...and the prices?!?! 20$ for a 6oz glass of CHEAP wine. I'm more than willing to spend that on good wine...but run of the mill table wine... Come on! I was sorely disappointed. I think in the future I will take an uber to a nicer HOTEL rather than spend a small fortune on meteocre. At that price there are no excuses to be anything less than stellar!
Only needed a place for 4 hours as our plane was cancelled. They still charged 300 for 2am till 6:30am. For that cost the hotel was below average and not competitive with other hotels in the area. Rooms were average but location is convenient.
It was a nice enough hotel and of course very convenient to the airport. Rooms were typical Sheraton quality. The food and bar prices were way over the top. While the menu is diverse and simple, it is extremely over priced. They nail many a tired traveler who just wants a bite to eat and to get a good night's sleep. Don't get me wrong, the food is good, but just expect to pay an extra 25-30% above normal restaurant fare. Bartenders were very cordial and attentive. Spirit selection is very good for a airport hotel property. Again though, expect to pay 15% above normal bar charges. Other than the food and beverage high expense, my stay was uneventful, and relaxing. Which is what you want when having to stay in a hotel.
No sleep. Heat kept going off and on, outside the door was way too much sound. 45 min of sleep.
A little pricy for the room but they give you check out super late and permitted us to visit family in the lobby. Staff was great
We went to the restaurant and the waiter came right over to the table and we had our drinks within minutes. We placed our order and then he went on his break and our food sat in the kitchen for at least fifteen minutes before another waitress brought our food out to us and this was only after we had mentioned that two tables beside us were served before us and we were in the restaurant at least ten minutes before they sat down. Not impressed. Not impressed at all.
It's good it's right beside the airport terminal 3 but would be nice if there was visitor parking other than the over priced airport parking if someone wants to visit while staying here.
The attention at reception leaves much to be desired, Today a 4 star hotel charges you for connecting to the wifi I find it terrible, the cleanliness in the rooms leaves much to be desired, I had another reservation and I have canceled it without hesitation.
The Asst Gen Mgr was a Godsend who went out of his way to help us
On my transit, I stayed and had an amazing experience
Very convenient hotel right at the airport has a very nice bar and restaurant. a good workout facility. rooms are good, noise also is very low
Very clean and conveniant hotel very close to the airport.
For the price the breakfast would be nice if included.
Parking is too costly and they dont have proper directions to go back to parking lots
The place is under construction right now, it's fine for a short stay. Would recommend hotels on Ellington Ave. Parking is free there.
Very nice place and comfortable ... el.bar excellent, to hang out ...
Some staff not friendly , over priced no fridges or washing machines for flight crews that have to stay long periods in this hotel, it took them over a month to accommodate the sunwing crews and then we were all relocated, escalator is always broken not worth the price even though it's right in front of terminal 3.
Not worth the price, no buffet breakfast, far to long waiting for service. They know that you mostly have no other choice.
Conveniently located across from Terminal 3 this property consistently provides the level of service that is expected by frequent business travellers.
We stayed overnight before a flight. The room was very clean, and the hotel itself looked great.
It very convinient for early flight, room is nice clean, very cozy place
The Sheraton Gateway at Toronto's Pearson airport is gradually getting old and tired. The reception and dining areas have been upgraded over the years but the rooms are the same as they were in the 80's. Very old decor, ancient plumbing fixtures, paper thin walls and bed mattress es that are on wobbly metal frames. I think they had mini refrigerators at one time but no longer and the wooden access door has been screwed shut. Don't get me wrong. The place was very clean, the bed comfortable and you have great views of the airport. Outside of the convenience of its location I could never recommend this hotel for any more then a night.
Well-appointed hotel rooms with excellent food and service. I had a wonderful rest before continuing my journey.
Awesome place to stay at especially with kids. Staff is does well at meeting all your needs. I suggest the club floor with access to the club lounge. Well worth the extra.
Great place to make the early morning flights a breeze
Decent tried to charge me alot until I was about to leave then price dropped by alot.
The location of the hotel is right at the airport; very convenient for airport access. Nice and clean room. The only negative experience this time was that the booked room was not ready at check-in time. I waited 20 minutes before the room was ready.
Stopped in for a bite on our way out of the country. Service was very good and the food was good too. Try the nachos.
Check your credit card once you leave. My number was comprimised after being here.
Great clean room. Front desk was very helpful. My only complaint was the pillows aren't the best.
Hotel staff was great. Shuttle service was very accommodating.
Loved the atmosphere! The rooms were well-priced. Housekeeping staff was Top Notch
Too many issues. Server at pub must have been having a bad day then on checkout glitches with parking and scanner.
Love this hotel . Great rooms food and staff. And you can park there and within a 5 min walk from your room you are in the airport. Warm and dry
Proximity to airport. Too expensive. No breakfast provided despite high cost of room.
At the actual airport, nice change from those claiming to be an airport hotel but are airport commute hotel. Nice rooms. Club level.
After a canceled flight that was rebooked with a 6:15AM departure I booked a room here to make the next morning a bit easier. Check in was easy and I got upgraded to the Club floor. The fitness room is a good size with a variety of equipment. Club room offered drinks and snacks until 8:30PM and saved me from having to eat a full meal later un the evening than I would have preferred. Room was very nice and quiet. Price is a bit steep which isn't helped by all the taxes but overall pleased and will certainly book here next time I'm in a similar situation.
Great place to get a good night's sleep before your morning flight. Recommend getting a porter for quick and easy luggage check in. Avoid the lines and cold.
Nice facility- parking is confusing as its on the roof with signs in the parking lot that arent clear as to how to get to the roof level parking.
Great meeting facilities and rooms exactly what you want for this kind of hotel.
The Sheraton Gateway is nice for stop overs. Class.
