How chain hotel is very good, but very sober, lacks joy ...

Pleasant hotel with nice facilities, staff, location and options to relax. Both their pools and their restaurants and rooms made me comfortable, to have a good time. If I go back to Puerto Vallarta I'm sure I'll stay here again.

The pools are your top! It is a very nice and super quiet hotel. The very friendly staff and the rooms are very good ..

PROS: Grounds were clean, staff was friendly.
CONS: Stupidly expensive, rooms were basic despite recent remodel, limited features considering resort has 'all-inclusive' feature.
If you have a family, this is a hotspot. If you're not a family, avoid this place like the plague.

Only giving two stars for Andres taking care of us at one of the restaurants. This hotel forgets that it s a beach front location when it comes to dining. We have been turned down on multiple nights due to shorts and sandals or my favorite you must be 6 or older when there were NO customers that night. There aren t even many dining choices and if your no in a suit and tie pretty much-then you will only have one choice of dining. Terrible customer services from ALL of their finer dining locations. Especially when it s down season and here were maybe a total of 3 tables at most some nights with a ton of wait staff-yet they couldn t squeeze us in. Ridiculous. If you like to eat or you have younger kids find another location because if your not wearing pants and polos you re not eating.

The place and the food are very good but the service and attention are very bad, they forget to go to clean the rooms and the waiters deny you the service if you do not give them a tip in advance, so I'm left with very bad taste mouth

The staff is very attentive and they really anticipate your needs. They safeguarded our suitcase even though we had already checked out.

Excellent hotel. If you are eligible for the club floor they service great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Free wine. Awesome service. They get 6 stars in the club lounge. The rest of the hotel is beautiful.

It's beautiful there. Rooms are 100% clean. The help and locals are some of the best and friendliest people on earth. Will go back as long as we can. Totally the best vacation spot ever...

It is very nice and really close to Puerto Vallarta downtown and close to the major nightclubs. Rooms are comfy and clean.

I always stay there and this time I was very disappointed. First, the food for room service is very expensive and it was the worst I have ever tasted. Second, I called and complained about the AC and they sent someone up really quick; he worked on it and he said he would come back to check it a little later. We went out for 5 hours and when we returned we found the door jarred open. I called staff and they apologized. We could of had everything stolen out from our room or had someone waiting when we got back. The following day, Management sent up some wine and snacks but the guy delivering the goods didn't say anything and I figured he was trying to sell us food so I told him we didn't want any. Guest services called later and told me that it was from Management as an apology for what happened the night before and I told him that the gentleman didn't even tell us that and therefore we declined the food. They asked if it would be ok to send it later and I said sure... well we never received anything, they never came back with the wine and food. I am very disappointed in the service and security of this place. Staff was very friendly and the food ordered from the restaurant by the pool was very good. Our poolside experience was very good and fun, the bar tenders were very service oriented. But I would never order room service again or eat from their restaurant.

Good service of the hotel persinal but you could make improvements to the beach of the same

The only reason why this resort doesn't get 5 stars is because of the food but since it is so close to town that minor detail is irrelevant. if i could give it 4.7 I would.
I got there earlier than check in time and they checked me in right away. I got to the room, it seemed warm..I like to sleep in a freezing room. They immediately sent someone up.
After he left the front desk called to make sure he solved the problem but I had to wait a while til it cooled off so I went to the pool. I got back to the room and it still felt warm so they sent up another service guy and since they were unable to get it to the temperature that i am comfortable with they changed my room. The switch was quick and painless. They were extremely understanding and nice.
Location-15-20 minutes from Malecon so convenient for shopping and eating.
Pool....Gorgeous, perfect temperature, lovely view of the beach. I had absolutely no problem getting a chair..there were tons. 2 for 1 drinks for happy hour...very inexpensive and not watered down which is uncommon in these resorts.
Rooms...immaculate, bed was so comfy, would have liked a few more English channels but no biggie..it is Mexico!
I was also waiting to be harassed by Timeshare reps..this NEVER happened as many stated in other reviews. All I received was a note saying to stop by regarding some freebies..I assumed this was when they try to sell you so i just ignored it.
Room Service: Was in the mood for something sweet and didn't like the restaurant options so i ordered room service. Had a yummy ricotta cheesecake which came in 15 minutes
I was only there 3 nights but I enjoyed every second and would definitely go back!

We only stayed four days but will definately stay there next time...No wonder this Hotel has been in business for so many decades. It is awesome.

Such a beautiful place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. It's walking distance from just about anywhere in town and the people are very kind to tourists. Amazing views of the ocean and sunsets from out back porch. The temperature is very humid and hot at this time of year (October). The one downside for us was that they give you bracelets that let you get in and out of the resort, but these bracelets also act as beacons to shop owners and street salesmen, it's a big "Hey! We're tourists!" Flag strapped to your wrist. Other than that, I love it here, and hope to come back again.

Although it is one of the modern hotels of Puerto Vallarta, its facilities and attention are first class. With respect to the hotel zone, Sheraton has a privileged location, walking 15 minutes from the boardwalk and many transport options to take you to different points of the city. In its surroundings there are banks, department stores. Unfortunately its beach could be better.

The new Buganvilias lobby was very good. I congratulate you because it looks much more spacious and elegant. Besides that my children loved the playground. Very good remodeling

Sunday brunch very rich food and the atmosphere that makes the mariachi is great.

1st day of 6, price was reasonable, the staff is Very helpful. I can't walk very well with my surgery shoe still on, and they have been quick to make sure I am taken care of. They even offered me a Wheelchair ( My pride cannot take it after having to ride one at the airport), but of course I refused. Being a prideful male...lol
I would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to relax, Have your concerns taken care of and enjoy yourself.
I'm going to try the spa tomorrow.
Maybe get a foot massage....lol

First time in PV and Sheraton Buganvilias did not disappoint one bit. Excellent service, amazing food, and the staff was truly an energetic yet kind bunch. Thank you for making my first visit to Mexico an unforgettable experience. Already planning the next trip and Sheraton is where we ll be staying. Thanks guys!!

DO NOT STAY HERE! we have a timeshare in PV, we have stayed in multiple hotels there and picked this one because my sister used them to block rooms for her wedding. FIrst they give us room right infront of construction that was shacking our room and we couldn't hear us talk (I have 2 infants with me), with zero warning. They food is not good, the staff is very ride, they dont give you drinkscor bring food unpess ypu leep tipping them, they call you put of they think its not enough tip. They refuse to give my son a daiquiri, they tell you its too much food when you order even though we ordered one plate per person. The restaurant are not all inclusive, ine of them you have to pay, the other one doesn't alpow kids and 3 rd one is not open every day. So my familu which was 17 blocked rooms had to eat at the Buffett everyday pretty much. Wthereis way more but its all in the case with corporate . We tried talking to the general manager and they wouldnt tell us who he was, they keep directing us to other people. They just said sorry and suggested I came up with a menu myself and thr chef would make me food, this was their solution! We had all 17 rooms with very unhappy people and all they did was send a boabsttle of cheap wine and gave my sister back 3 days of her stay, after they ruined her wedding experience absolutelyterribleplace, I had to talk to the directorof turism and I am atill talking to other government individuals regarding this. I was a waste of 2500 dollars and my sisters wedding experience and memories are now tainted.i have the emails with management to prove nothing was done and they never closed the loop with this issue

Good hotel I'm not a fan of the resort, so I guess it's fine. All nearby, a nice beach to float (I do not recommend swimming because there are many immovable rocks very close to the beach). The rooms well, the service also and well in general, a pleasant stay.

The hotel is really nice. Service is friendly and helpful. The view from the rooms are great. The quality of the rooms is outstanding. The only downside for me is the food. I would consider the quality moderate.

It is a very father hotel, only that its main restaurant is very dark and the buffet almost did not like me in the week, but for the weekend it is very good, the snaks are delicious, they lack staff of waiters who serve the beds and maids

Fantastic Sunday brunch! Great deal if you're staying somewhere else. Brunch plus towel service and use of their pool until 5pm for a very small amount. Will definitely go back!

Of the hotels with the best reputation in Puerto Vallarta. You have the option to visit the Malecon at the time you want and you can go walking.

Wonderful hotel, excellent service and attention of all the staff, they just need to apply more in their program of activities
