Terrible experience left much to be desired, attitude of a large part of the staff would convince if you are not a foreigner they do not attend to you, it is in bad taste that being in your own country you feel like a foreigner, the pool waiters have to beg them to attend you except from one to another, however, it seems that they do you a favor! They are not attentive at breakfast; You ask for coffee and they serve you reluctantly and one of them even threw coffee on my foot and it was not even to approach to apologize, I definitely do not recommend this hotel they are not prepared to serve Mexicans their priority is foreigners, for great tourism they are It is short, beach full of stone impossible to walk barefoot, they have a boring atmosphere, their terrible entertainers and old facilities, the photos that appear on the Internet of the rooms are of the club not the hotel. The price is not worth it! The two stars are only for the restaurant Las Gaviotas, very good service and good food, it was almost the only thing that was worth it and the treatment of the bellboys.

Never again. Advertise as 4* and better. More like 3. Service at meal times good, drinks service extremely poor. Room service ok. Front counter service horrible. Pool CROWDED and not enough chairs or enforcement of the reserve (towels draped on chairs) issues. Food good. DO NOT CONNECT TO THEIR WIFI in lobby or via room (pay to use in room) You are being watched (Hacked) My cell and lap top were both destroyed through their connection. Lost everything on my phone and does not function properly same on laptop. And both units worked fine and normal PRIOR to hooking up to them. They have a guy in main lobby area you see to pay for hook up. Guaranteed they are looking for your personal info....Traveler, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

We're planning a large conference for next year. Gaby has been really great and accommodating. The Sheraton's location is ideal, and the spaces available are varied and adaptable. We look forward to having our event there!

Slow customer service, cheating on deals (we agreed on a deal with a travel agent at the airport and the deal included a free breakfast at another hotel and 3 activities like scuba diving, dolphin encounters and city tours. The person at Sheraton then called in the morningsupposedly cancelling our morning activity. We later contacted our travel agent and he said that he had been waiting at our arranged location for 1 hour. So basically Sheraton intercepted our planned activity and provided a different one so that they could make money)
On the up side, the hotel is nice but kinda old. Construction is not finished.
Ocean view is really loud at night when waves crash against the shore
Rooms don't block out noise very well
Only 3 restraunts (all inclusive isn't worth it)
Customer service is really kind and helpful ( just slow)

The Sheraton was a great stay, we loved the rooms and the pools were fantastic. We also really like the location, we were able to walk to a number of different restaurants or it was easy to jump on a bus.

Although the place is beautiful, they make you waste hours the first day trying to sell you their timeshare.
The food is quite simple.
The service is not bad but they always try to overcharge you. They are more focused on what they can charge you than on giving a decent service.
The only good thing is the cleanliness of the room.

Stayed at the Sheraton Buganvilias in Puerto Valla...

Stayed at the Sheraton Buganvilias in Puerto Vallarta for 6 nights.

The Good:
We arrived on a Saturday at 1pm and check in wasn t until 3pm so we were happy that we weren t made to wait. We were upgraded from garden view to balcony which is great. Customer service was mostly great. The views were great. The pool was great.

The Resolved Issues:
Mostly frustrated with the fact that we were given access to the club level breakfast and appetizers and then we verified and were told that we would not be receiving that complimentary for the rest of our trip by the manager on site because the employee who checked us in told us wrong. She said we should have known because we should know our benefits and that was that. No resolve moving forward. This was a downgrade on our trip moving forward and we are quite unpleased because we still had 5 nights left on our stay. After reaching out on Twitter they gave us access to this again.

The Unresolved and Reported Issues:
Our food menu had orange stains on it. It should have just been swapped out with one that wasn t nasty. The fridge was grimy, we reminded them about it multiple times and no one came to clean it. Our hot water turned scalding hot without adjusting the temperature in our shower. We were told that someone should check on our shower on a certain day and time and that did not happen until we reminded them a second time. After them checking the shower they did not end up fixing it. When we walked in it had a stale smell to the bedding and there were 2 different hairs in the bed. One curly and one straight. Even with do not disturb on our door house keeping called twice while were taking naps and woke us up to see if we wanted our rooms cleaned. No one explained to us that make a green choice was 3 days in a row then take a day break and then start again. We knew that we would not receive our vouchers the first and last day, but skipping a day after 3 in a row was not explained to us. Finally, we requested late check out and came back to our room at 12:35 with 1pm check out and our card to the room stopped working so we had to go back down to concierge and spend then last bit of time we had at the hotel waiting in line at concierge instead of enjoying the view from our room.

Overall there were a few good things about the hotel. The not so good things were all avoidable and piled on to make this stay much less enjoyable than it could have been. I will be posting this entire summary in my review for or stay. There were many chances for the hotel to make things right and they did not and it leaves a sour taste in our mouth.

Extremely disappointed. This easily could have been a 4 or 5 star review had things even attempted to be made fully right.
