Located 10 min walking distance from the Plaza. Clean, spacious rooms, plenty of free parking and good wifi. Shuttle service to Plaza available all day. Staff friendly and helpful (Phillip at the front desk was always available ro answer my questions). Great little bar and good breakfast service. I highly recommend this place, will definitely be back.

The room was decorated nicely, however, they are tiny! They didn't upgrade the bathrooms with the rooms and it shows. We stayed during January and there was only a thin blanket & sheet on the bed with another thin blanket folded in the closet. But that was all discovered after realizing they charge $30+ for fees (including the dog & "resort" fee). It was too late for me to go elsewhere and while I was willing to swallow the substantial fees, the front desk worker was quite rude. I won't be staying here again.

I had a decent stay, but seemed a little over priced for what it was. It was the smallest double queen room have ever been in. The breakfast was mediocre, and options didn't change. But my biggest complaint is that the wifi was terrible in the room. When it would stay connected, which was only about 50% of the time, it was extremely slow.

The staff was nice and the rooms were decent. The room was clean except for underneath the beds. The bed was uncomfortable with two people sleeping in it. One of the ice machines was broken, and the one I found that did work was really slow. The parking lot was really icy. The restaurant looked good but was closed that night for a Christmas party. Breakfast was really good, and they offered a free shuttle service to the plaza. I think that s everything, in no particular order. I would recommend this place if the price is right and you don t have to share a bed. Good Luck!

Neat place to stay. Pet friendly. I don't think it's worth what they are charging. Room way too small. You have to pay for parking on top of that. No elevator for the price. Next time we will stay on bottom floor. Guy that checked us out not friendly at all. Refused to give us a receipt when we left. Guy that checked us in put us at wrong room and we had to walk around to find right room and then keys wouldn't work. But for atmosphere neat place to stay but not worth price

This place is a joke. The only positive is that's it's cheap. The key cards wouldn't work to get into the room. They kept on giving me new ones that still wouldn't work. Room was just ok, breakfast lounge was covered with TV's blaring news and sports...I won't be back.

Room clean with local art - headboard nice wood, mirror and face of vanity engraved metal, etc. No rugs. Building is noisy and creaky. Like living in an old house with wood like floors. Person above me just doing normal things, but it was quite loud. I just ignored it having had a basement room in the past. Deeply appreciated the maintenance man helping me out with lifting something! He was a gem!

The beginning was difficult in that the card keys issued to me did not work in our room. After making my way back to the front desk, we were issued new key cards, but only one of those worked. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The second day we found the ice machine near our room didn't work. Management needs to attend to the details, to assure guest satisfaction.

Only good aspects were breakfast and service. I booked a non smoking 2 bed room and ended up w one w one bed. They were super friendly and got me a new room, but it was definitely too small for 4, smelled like someone had just smoked in there and the shower wasn't working properly. Room was clean though. Won't come back

Absolutely overpriced for one night, but my fault for picking the busiest weekend in Sante Fe! Staff were all amazing. Front desk to the breakfast manager! Bartender was awesome!! He was the truly the nicest person our entire trip across country. The bar itself was extremely comfy and had loads of different games(board, jenga, cards) and had a wonderful patio.Would stay again, just not that weekend!:)

The breakfast and wifi are not included in the initial price. When I looked at my bank statement I noticed that I was billed an additional $15. When I called the hotel to inquire about this additional charge I was told that it's for the breakfast, gym & wifi. I found it quite odd just being that all those services seem to be advertised as being part of the overall package and was when I was checking in that $15 charge was not included in my bill. That put me off quite a bit.

It is a small hotel with an active bar and restaurant. It is centrally located to the Railyard and downtown Santa Fe. The rooms are being updated and is a friendly place to stay.

Google Maps will try and take you to the park next door, so ignore that and it is on the corner. The office is inside on the the right if you follow the traffic laws. I had to drive around twice to finally figure that out.

Our group visit Santa Fe for our friends birthday. The two staff members we encountered were awesome! The nice gentleman with the long braided hair and the front desk agent who I think was named Michael. They were so friendly, welcoming and kind to us all. We will be back strictly because of them! We thank them for making our stay extra special!! It was good for our group, we were able to check in early, check out late, and get rooms near each other, which was perfect! Thanks Sage Inn, see you again soon!

Blown away - beautiful place for the price. Loved the bar/restaurant and got incredible service. The shuttle downtown was helpful and stress-free. Everyone was kind, and they understood and valued the little things that make a stay great...even the lobby coffee was exceptional. Stopped in here while driving from New England to Los Angeles and I would stay again (especially in the fall).

Rin, Philip and Sylvia were the nicest receptionists and helped us travel around Santa Fe, in very unique and economical ways.

Each of them went out of their way to ensure that we had a good stay, not only at the hotel, but also Santa Fe in general. Thank you!

Delicious food and rooms are very well kept! I've lived in santa Fe my whole life and have not been there till this last weekend and I've got to say I was really impressed. I had visited a guest staying there and had eaten but with how well the hotel is kept I will definitely be a future guest! Overall I give it 4 out of 5 star.

From the time I checked in, I had to switch rooms twice. First the TV didn't work. Then there was a used towel and a smoke odor in the second room. In the third room, I had to ask them to change the sheets because there were visible stains on the white sheets. Not worth the hassle when there are so many other options in the area.

The Santa Fe Sage Inn was an okay place to stay. I was not pleased that I had to pay an additional fee to park at the Inn. I expect to be able to park my vehicle where I am paying to stay, but they charged a fee to park in thier hotel parking lot. I also felt that the bed was not clean, specifically the wool blanket. I pulled a clump of blond hair off the blanket (I'm a brunette), which really put me off. Overall, an underwhelming experience.

Rooms are clean, with nice decor. We did have one small issue with men working above us and making a lot of noise. We went and talked to the front desk, and Phillip, the clerk at the front moved us to a whole new room, and gave us a discount on top of our military discount. He was very respectful and handled the situation very, very, very professionally. I will definitely be staying here again. My wife and I make frequent road trips from Colorado to California, and this is one of our pit stops and we re glad to have a nice hotel to look forward to.

It's well located close to the Plaza. However, they heating system does not work properly at least in the room I had. Breakfast is pretty basic too but you can pay 5 bucks and get omelettes or other hot breakfast.

We found ourselves stranded in Santa Fe when our RV transmission blew out and it was Balloon Fest Week. Motel rooms were at a premium, and we had visions of having to stay in our RV in the repair shop yard until Indira, the manager at Sage Inn came to our rescue. She, along with Brayan and Sylvia, not only found us a room, but treated us with kindness and understanding. We were not sure how long we would be staying (waiting for our RV to be repaired), but Indira worked to accommodate us and give us excelllent recommendions of things to do and places to eat. And so what could have been a week from hell became a week of discovery and adventure in Santa Fe.

This place has nice rooms, loby, restaurant. Good location. I'd easily give it 5 stars, if it were not for the add on fees that are hidden in small print. I called to ask the management about it. The fist person that I talked to could not find the fee on the website and referred me to a manager, who hung up on me...bad business practice. So if you are happy with the web price plus an extra $15 bucks, you will like it...it's still a good price for Santa Fe

They refused to have paid in advance through Booking, even though he had all the vouchers. I had to pay again. Not at all interested host, only care about the price. They are rude and insensitive to the concern generated by paid times for the same room.

This was exactly what we were looking for on our road trip. Well priced, clean rooms, very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Room was updated and welcoming. The only complaint I had was the water during my shower. For no obvious to me reason, the water would go from warm to freezing cold, to SCOLDING hot. But for the price, you could not beat this historic hotel.

They offer shuttle service to restaurants and shopping until 8 pm, and drink tickets for 1 free draft beer or wine for each adult. Overall, a great stay.

My bath water was lukewarm in the a.m. and place was not full. They put me in a first floor room under another guest and our section was almost empty. The mattress was hard and hurt my back. The outlet for the lamp was at middle of the headboard of the bed and it does not have an electrical cover making it a fire hazard that close to the mattress. Finally, the only ice machine in fall and winter is at front desk, a long way from most rooms as property is large and spread out.

Would give it a 5 stat but the bottom rooms have no sound proofing. You can hear the people upstairs and their every move. Horrible if you're trying to sleep and are a light sleep. I suggest getting a 2nd floor room.

I only stayed for one night passing through Santa Fe on my way to Colorado. That being said be wary if you have a trailer. There is no trailer parking. Otherwise, the room was clean; the breakfast was waffles and your standard breakfast fare; and the Inn was very pet-friendly.
