Beautiful place. Loved the beach in front for looking for beach glass. The staff is very friendly.

Had breakfest at the Sheraton Buganvillas and the service was great.Andres Ramos and hie amigo Joel were the best.They spoke english,so it was very enjoyable.

Way too many people trying to sell me a timeshare. Made the trip less enjoyable.

The beach has rocks but with some water shoes .. ready .. you see your feet and the tide is very quiet for kids and adults

Excellent facilities, very good service and if location is at the beginning of the Center of Puerto Vallarta

It is a nice and good place to spend the day alone or with children, but the attention of the waiters in the pool is very poor, and the pool is missing several tiles and is something dangerous.

They will not be able to use the beach there is a warning of Urchins, you have to make do with the hotel pools and that you get good service in the internal restaurants and bars of the hotel, the natural water I do not know because you Razon is all inclusive, here it has additional cost.

Great hotel! The people and service were fantastic!! I would recommend this hotel to friends and go back.

PROs:
Very good service in general.
Clean and comfortable facilities
In all inclusive drinks well served with liquors and packaged and / or bottled beers.
They accept pets (you sign vouchers for damages that your pet may cause)

CONS:
Expensive even in all inclusive, inside anything is very expensive.
Clean and comfortable rooms, they only lacked attention on a few issues. Ahem: we asked for extra pillows and covers and they didn't come.
They allowed other guests to smoke in the rooms and the smell seeped into our room as well.
The breakfast buffet was bland and monotonous.
Thursday of Mexican nights, the dance and mariachi show was very good but the waiters' attention left much to be desired.
My mom got a hair out of the food and she didn't even receive an apology even though they paid the buffet at 600 per person.

Overall a good experience but I think that for the cost you can surely find something better.

It is very nice, with lots of vegetation in the pool area, only the beach has stones

First of all, we own a time share there and after 5 years there has be no regret to buy at this location and this hotel. Having said this, they remodel extensively and press the owners to upgrade, no reason for us to do so.
Staff is really great and many of them have been there all 5 years. We love the pool, the food, the location!!! You can walk to the Malecon in about 15 minutes or take a bus there. A big supermarket is about 7 minutes walk but even the store in the hotel is well equipped and not outrageously expensive.
Here is what I don't like as much:
The beach is no good for swimming :(
Timeshare upgrade pressure.
So my real rating is more like a 4+ but I think I owe it to the staff to give 5 stars.

Huge and beautiful resort. Convenient location, could use more food options

The best: food, drinks, rooms, special dinners, attention on the beach.
The bad: On Sunday very full, a lot of confusion with the bracelets, and the menu with cost.

Excellent hotel, very well located, close to the boardwalk you can go walking.

First time at this hotel/resort and was generally very impressed. The rooms where decently sized and had a pretty spectacular view even though a balcony was lacking. The pool was fairly large and had a pool bar (which was so so) but at least there was one. The bar inside was tad overpriced but drinks we're decently crafted. The main restaurant had a large assortment of Mexican food and was actually really good. The crowd in general at the hotel was fairly mixed. Some old people and really old people and a bunch of people in their late 20 and 30s. I did not see any kids. I don't think I'd come back but I would recommend it to someone else.

Great resort, awesome staff, nice rooms, and great resort dining options. You do need to be careful of all the sea urchin if swimming in the ocean there.

I attended a congress. It has good facilities with enough space, although sometimes the conferences were left with an excess of people. It is a nice place.

In general a good service, the whole building very clean, the staff very friendly and the food very rich. The problem that has been found is that they have their timeshare sales agents "stalking" in front of the reception all the time, they really just wait for someone to come by. Every day of the stay they asked at least 3 times when they had arrived, if they had already delivered the map of the hotel and if they already had the information about the timeshare. It was really awkward for them to get in the way.
The rest of the service is excellent.

This is my second stay at this resort with the first being my honeymoon. As it turns out, I am returning to this resort with my wife in a few weeks because we love it there so much.

Food, service, rooms, amenities are immaculately maintained. Older hotel has its charms but remains spotless. People are friendly. A couple of hotel staff stood out for sure. David and Louis in the open air restaurant, and my hostess Iris. Oh! And our beach server Gamma. These people made our stay so much better!

Had a blast for my sister's wedding here. Wedding was beautiful thanks to the staff. Also they were on top of there game when a random drunk guy started to run down the isle while the bridesmaids were entering..he didn't get far before multiple staff members detained and removed him without interrupting the ceremony.

If you are heading out in the town and need a great cab driver I recommend asking for Santiago Gonzalez cab #1140. Great prices, he won't try to gouge you like some cabbies. He went out of his way to make sure I had an amazing time in Puerto Vallarta. For instance, I went out for some shopping and he took me to all the amazing shops downtown. Not only that, he walked around with me to translate and also pointed out when someone was giving me a questionable price. Needless to say this was the only guy I called when I went off the resort.

Great people work here, fantastic Sunday brunch and always keeping the resort fresh with upgrades! Love the new Maiave Spa!

It has old rooms, it smells dirty, they want you to enter an ecological program not to waste water and not change sheets in your stay, but do not accept it because the sheets and covers smell of sweat, they charge you separately if you want connect to wifi, I have stayed in better hotels or even less quality and I have never charged the wifi, lunch and dinner I do not recommend, in order I do not recommend it.

The hotel is fine, the food delicious and the staff very friendly.

We have been staying at this hotel when we visit Puerto Vallarta for over 20 years. Our last stay was the best yet. The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable with white crisp covers and sheets. The location within walking distance of the malacone with a short 10 minute walk. As always we were approached upon arrival by the timeshare reps. I must have made a very clear impression on them. We were not approached for the rest of our stay. The Sunday champagne brunch is excellent. The pools were warm and clean as were the grounds. I would highly recommend the Sheraton Buganvilas to anyone looking for a very pleasant vacation in Puerto Vallarta. One negative, wifi is only free in the lobby. Come on, when your facility is so good in so many ways, why do you feel you need to charge for wifi?

Stayed here and was charged double had already booked and charged online that when when I got back home I printed out and send it to them never got a response to date haven't got paid back

Beautiful facility, service is excellent, but be prepared for aggressive timeshare sales presentation (starting at the airport and everywhere you walk in this city). Not the newest resort, but very well maintained, magnificent pool and grounds, good AC, good food options. Location within reasonable walking proximity to large grocery stores and popular tourist destinations. Good choice for our first Puerto Vallarta vacation.

It feels like you re disturbing the staff. Like you are intruders. The valet was super friendly but after that, numerous mistakes were made and no apologies were given. When we explained what had happened to the check out agent, he simple looked at us with no reaction or acknowledgement. The room smelt like mold. They charged us for breakfast when we had it included in our rate. The beach was so rough we couldn't walk on it.. the bar lost our bill and brought us the weong one. We waited 40 minutes to get our bill. Not impressed at all!
The only nice part was the complimentary upgrade with an ocean view but the room smelt so bad so I dont even know if that was a nice gesture lol.
