It's pretty standard for an O2. Having been to most of the O2 venues in the UK I would rate this as one of my least preferential. The floor is flat unlike many others and the stage is low down, meaning you even at 6 foot don't get a great view. Drinks reasonably priced. Entry was reasonably well organised.

This is a beautiful venue. It's small enough to be intimate but big enough to get some great acts. There are also enough bars and bar staff to get you served quickly. It's a lovely building too.
Nice smallish concert venue in need of some modernisation. The acoustics are fairly good with minimal distortion. The security on my visit was lacking. I was not subject to any search whatsoever and I didn't witness any searching by the stewards.
Unless you get to the front early or you're 6'7" there is no good vantage point in the whole standing area. The stage is too low, the floor seems to slop down away from the stage and there is a bar directly in the way of the higher level standing area. Really badly designed and made the whole experience uncomfortable.
Beautiful period venue. I'm a wheelchair user so was taken in on a secure but temporary ramp through a side door. Disabled toilet could be improved (6/10) but was radar key controlled so not used by all gig goers. Disabled - ensure you call disabled booking line to see if venue meets your needs. Staff friendly, helpful and accomating. 1 accessible bar, 2 more in ground floor area, unsure if others in building (typical London drinks prices, crisps available at bars too). 3 more floors with seating. Cloakroom to check in coats etc. View good from disabled area. Good sound quality in venue. General lighting (house lights not show lights) good so you could see pre and post performance ok. Parking at Westfield shopping centre is reasonably priced for London and open late. Enjoy!
An old building with character that gives the feeling of being in old England. It probably needs a bit of refurbishment on the outside but it is still good for latin, pop, dance music concerts where people can be standing to be able to dance.
Toilets are very small! Mens had 2 cubicles and a handful of urinals. Takes a while to get served by bar staff. The venue reminds me of a community centre but it has its own quaint charm.
Went to see Lissie , on 3/10 and found the empire virtually unchanged since visiting In 2010, the only thing that sucked was that the stage lights were directed into my face as I was watching which made me unable to see the performance, sounded great but had to watch via my phone screen as lights were so badly placed I could barely see a thing . We were in the circle and it may have been fine in the standing area below but this really did put a downer on the show for me , friendly staff though and didn't need to take a mortgage out when the bill came from the bar
Unless you get there early you will not be able to see the band very well as you have to stand at the back. There is a bar right in front of you which you have to look through to see the band and the ceiling is so low that it's like looking through a letterbox. I don't think there are any speakers at the back either so can't really hear anything. Drinks pretty expensive as well.
First time seeing a band at this venue and will be the last, don't waste your money.
Staff seem a little disorganised and the place smells strongly of old beer and sweat. The gallery is not a good view, would only recommend the main floor i you are interested in seeing the concerts
I thought the venue was great. It's small but that means you have a good view of the stage HOWEVER I wish the stalls was slated so even if someone talk was sat in from of you you could see better!!
Amazing concert - Bear's Den. The venue is really good. A small enough venue that anywhere you sit/stand you're still pretty close.
I had heard of Shepherd's Bush as hipster music venue from years ago and it has really stuck to that. It's a place where up and coming artists go and it encourages new bands. Great place - love it.
I went to see Ella Mai on her debut tour and this was the first time I'd visited Shepherds Bush. It was very nice inside! I had standing tickets and I liked the fact there were two bars and a lot of space to stand. I also was pleasantly surprised to be standing on a floor that wasn't sticky which is a usual experience. Only gripe would be queuing outside in the dark and no organisation was a bit messy and the security search was a bit lazy but overall I really enjoyed my time.
A great live music venue. For the size, it attracts many popular artists. Thus, you can get an intimate gig for a large band. There is easy access from all London transport systems, a breeze to get to. If the band is particularly heavy, then there is a probable chance you could feel a little claustrophobic, however I feel that adds to the closer nature of the venue and adds to the experience.
Great live venue, the sound was good, the organisational skills during the meet and greet could have gone better but overall a good venue, lots of good bands here
Stalls aren't slopped so if you're short you've got no chance of watching the gig. Unless you're at the bar, from which, quite cleverly, you can watch the gig.
Nice venue. Good sightlines from upstairs, and decent sound. Seating and quieter bar make this attractive, unless you'd rather mosh downstairs and fight for your beer ;) The sound is probably better downstairs also.
Echoes of its past resonate throughout this wonderful old building. It's very comfortable and has great acoustics and was a great place to watch Bruce Hornsby does his thing. Easy to get to as well.
Intimate little venue not too far from Central London. Had seats in the first balcony area, which was general space with seats if you arrived early. Seats were not especially spacious, but it was hard to not have a good view of the stage. Let down by bathroom availability, which created long queues. Drinks were available from a little bar room with screens showing the stage. Staff were polite, and when another audience member kicked off, they quickly and quietly removed them so we could focus on the music.
The venue is really nice but it's very impractical if it's over crowded... I have 'seen' a few different acts here (I use the term seen lightly) and most of the time it's hard to see everything happening on stage, bare in mind... I'm 6 foot 1 so I'm a tall guy myself but if you have the other giants that come out of hibernation (only to come to this gig of course) you may struggle.
Annual pilgrimage to watch the faultless Fields of the Nephilim live in concert. Magnificent as always in a stunning traditional music theatre. Fabulous acoustics; bar prices and Loos as expected. Great company to boot. See you again same time next year! Pray now.
Okay so the band that was playing, Avatar, were amazing as always. However the crowd got out of control and the security did nothing to try and control it. People in the front were passing out and getting crushed between the crowd and the barrier. They didn't offer anyone water and laughed when we asked for help. They totally ignored a guy touching up a girl despite being told about it and left the crowd to deal with it. The only thing that saved the night was the tiny bit I saw of the band before passing out and after first aid let me go.
Attended to see Jo Koy. The venue was well managed, however the building its self is in desperate need of renovation. Wooden benching to Sit on if you are in the top Tier.
