Amazing benefit gig

I hadn't been here for a few years and it looks as though the place has been largely refurbished; new toilets and new bars but, unless they've worn very quickly, the same old seats. Still, it's a pleasant venue once you're inside and out of sight of Shepherd's Bush, which is pretty grim.
Superb location for concert. Saw Pvris twice and it was amazing!
Great venue, easy to get to using public transport.
Good gigs venue, but they left everyone in a huge queue under the rain while the gig already started, it was very annoying!!!
The place is small, but perfect for a concert. It looks good from anywhere. Small and perfect vision.
Seating here is very cramped. If you are over 5ft 2in your knees will be banging against the seat. Despite this, staff at the venue are very friendly and helpful.
Terrible sound system...All bands beware, there is only bass...no mid or treble. No band should have to put up with that sound system.
Poor building, old construction. Need update urgently.
The bar staff made me four double g&ts and poured them into a 2 litre glass but I m yet to invoice for my hangover
Very good music and entertainment venue. We saw Bill Bailey live here. Was an exceptional show fairly priced. Well organised event facility. Staff are experts in their field. Drinks a little pricey. Well worth seeing a band or show here.
Music great but over packed no seating left despite having ticket seats. Very hot!!
Great venue, lots of space and good sounding. Great for medium size gigs and concerts. Friendly staff and great location. Close to many pubs and restaurants
Concert Hall, close to Sheperd's Bush Station.
Extremely crowded!
Good venue, easy to get to, not too big, yet not too small..
Bar has ok selections of drinks (Beer, Wine and some spirit) friendly service and drinks priced ok.
If you get early enough you can get to the front, closer to the stage, however the back good too.
Nice venue as in size but not very clean and drinks are way overpriced.
An amazing venue , friendly bar staff but did run out of beer quite quickly at one bar with four different beers .....toliets were clean considering you are at an old venue .
Gorgeous venue, built in 1903. The staff is very nice too
They've placed a bar downstairs in the ideal spot for watching a gig. Incredibly inconvenient!
Bit grotty but great seats at the middle tier around the side. You end up basically above the stage for the same price as everyone who is right the other side of the venue!
Firstly booking was excellent. Needed disabled access to the venue and was helped through the process. When we arrived at the venue we were directed to the side entrance and escorted with others to our reserved seats. At all times we were treated with courtesy and respect.
As the venue is relatively small every view is good and sound was awesome.
Thank you Shepherds Bush for making it a truly memorable and wonderful night.
We went to see the Bowie Celebration. The door staff were very helpful and we felt the entire es smooth. Lovely decor and intimate gig. Not too big not too small. Decent bat and not overly priced.
Blue October at the 02 Shepherds Bush Empire, March 2018.
Great venue for live music, wherever you are in this venue, there is alway a good view of the stage and great acoustics.
Staff is super helpful and knowledgeable of whatever or whoever is performing that day.
An intimate venue to enjoy artists music. Beautiful old building with lovely plaster work inside.
It's nice but I am not sure if 100% safe. Need a refurbishment.
James Morrison s show , love the sound and the effects
Enjoyed my first visit but very busy, not much room to move.
Great venue for live music and atmosphere, highly recommend you go see your favourite show/band there!
I love the Empire. It's one of the best of the old theatre-style live venues in London, and pop gigs are great there because you're never too far from the stage. A better selection of beers would get it five stars from me, as I'm no fan of Tuborg or Carlsberg, but it's a really nice venue.
They really fill this place up! If it sells out don't expect enough space to dance. Good sound quality though.
Beautiful theatre in the centre of London. Been there to see one of my favourite singer Carmen Consoli and find out that most of my favourite artists all over the world plaid there, like David Bowie and led Zeppelin...bar in the inside serving cold beer and drinks. Stuart's and hostess helpful and kind
More than one queue and no information as to which one you should queue in. Then they let loads of people mill around without queueing and jump the queue on entry.
Timing information awful, no distinction between doors opening time and performance start time.
Then the supposed search on entry was so superficial I could have got in with anything.
The perfect size gig venue, mix of seats and standing, easy bar access, great bands. Usually.
A spectacular music venue built in 1903.
The 02 Shepherd's Bush Empire is situated on the west side of Shepherd's Bush Green. Easily reached by London transport. The following train stations are nearby:
Shepherd's Bush Overground mainline /Shepherd's Bush -Central line
Shepherd's Bush Market -Hammersmith & City line
White City station - Hammersmith & City line
The closet train station to the venue is -
Goldhawlk Road, which is located on the Goldhawlk Road itself W12. And runs on the Hammersmith & City line.
There are also countless Bus routes that stop right outside the venue also.
It's always good to check route details before you set off. So you don't blame me!

Lovely venue but why has the Travis gig been moved to Kentish Town on 9 May ? Have all the other gigs prior to then moved too ? Are the refurbs taking longer than planned ?
Great sound, good layout, AWFUL beer! Been to see a handful of gigs and they've all been great aside from drinks options. So make of that what you will. I still had a good time
Just viewing as I passed. My singing partner & I as The Allisons there (when it was the Shepherds Bush Empire BBC TV Theatre) on 15.Feb.1961. Won the 'SONG For Europe' with my Song 'Are You Sure'. It went straight into the Charts, Nr 2 before we came 2nd in the Eurovision SONG Contest final 18.March. Then went to Nr ONE over Elvis twice in April, becoming Britain's first Euro Million-Seller. We were awarded a Gold Disc etc etc. Never been back inside. Didn't make us wealthy. Good fun being Pop/Rock Stars.
An excellent venue. Security were really nice and helpful too.
Snug venue. Good sightlines. If stalls are seated sit here rather than balcony.
Great old venue even if it smells like a public toilet.
Sound isn't great, the beer is far from cheap & the security are rude and obnoxious.
Only merit is the venues historic reputation.
Great venue with a good line up of bands. Sound system can be a bit hit or miss. Neds Atomic Dustbin sounded lousy from the floor the other night! Couldn't even distinguish the drums from the guitar. The only discernable sound was the vocals. Slightly improved when I moved up behind the sound desk.
The interior is fabulous though and creates a wonderfully intimate setting to see your favorite bands!
Beautiful venue. Make sure you aren't under the balcony for the best sound quality
Great venue, would come here again, easy to get to via tube, loads of bars inside, no waiting for drinks! (shame the gig I went to; UFO, was oversold, & subsequently the place was packed!)
Poor Disabled Set Up
Good small venue with excellent sound and kind of okish disabled access, would really help if the disabled area was roped off as being in a wheelchair and having to fight for a space that I'm entitled to is a bit of a joke.
Considering they are part of the O2 group the venues in Islington, Brixton and Kentish Town have this all sorted. Why not here? Convenient access to the disabled toilet after politely shouting at people to move!
Not the best setup for live music, but not bad. The bar takes up valuable viewing space. It should be against the back wall instead.
Great theatre and great shows...a must If you live nearby
A classic gig venue, what more do you need to know?
went there to see Mott the Hoople, band were great ,very old fashioned theatre, but it was ok
Very special concert hall in an old theatre building. Not huge and not sure about audio
Saw Bear's Den here, great venue. Was seated on Level 1 with excellent views.
Went to see mahalia, she was amazing live. The venue was easily accessible and had ample bars for the event. Prices were reasonable for a London event
Great gig and sound system easily accessible from the tube
Beautiful venue but very tightly packed crowd and difficult to get a good view if you're standing.
