Good music audio and video subpart. I see no reason that a business based on live music should not have good sound quality
Small venue that allows you to be close to the performers. Easy exit after the show.
great venue for live music! good drinks, reasonably priced.
Reqlly nice venue. Was super cramped but was to be expected, there is an upper level which i didnt go to seems like plenty of seeting. $10 for my shot which is pricey but eh, not bad for going out one night. All the employees were so kind and chill. I had a great time, will for sure come back for another show.
Neumos is one of the best venues in Seattle. They regularly have great artists, it's a good size, the sound is good, and they have multiple bars to stay "hydrated".
Awesome venue. Great sound, great lights, great fun.
Went there a few hours ago. Toshi Kesai, Redd Kross, and The melvins. It's like that place holds good luck and good vibes.
I love seeing good bands in an intimate setting, and that's what you get with Neumo's. When at it's best, it is THE place to get a feel of what the 1990's music scene was like. When not, it is still a great place to see live music.
This club brings great performances, however the sound quality is really bad, atmosphere is ruined. Also club administration and setup is clueless. I've been there for several concerts of rock legends and came out disappointed. It's really bad that in such a music capital as Seattle to still have this low quality concert halls. Organizers avoid this place.
My personal favorite venue in Seattle, great sound! Make sure you're there early, configuration of the standing area is a bit weird.
A great venue for a variety of music. Sound is generally really well dialed in, staff is friendly, and the layout accommodates all sorts of show goers. Bonus: great food nearby for before or after the show.
Saw King's Kaleidoscope a few weeks ago! All ages show, and I'm thankful for the bar upstairs to not have to be shoulder to shoulder with the young'ns. ;) The venue was cool, and the show was amazing!
I think this place has a serious design flaw. If you're at an "all ages" event and want a drink, you need to stay in the upstairs area that is not designed to be a viewing area. Only the people in the first row can see the stage below. That space is not compatible with a crowd. For instance, if I go to an "all ages" event there, I will not get a drink and rather stay in the downstairs area from which I can actually get a view of the stage.
I love all of the shows I've seen here, sometimes it seems like the people who work sound balance might've already gone deaf. That said, when I saw Bruno major tonight lights sound music were perf
Unpretentious, perfect size venue, great location. Awesome place to see music in Seattle.
Loudest and cleanest sound from full jbl pro line arrays. Good drinks too
Depends on the artist and his/her crowd/style but this is one of the best venues for intimate contact with the performer.
Classic small venue with upper overlooking bar. Great for seeing artist close up and personal.
a dump, staff drips with early 1990 "im way too cool to smile/be polite" all posers too stupid to realize it; The 'attitude' thing was OK in 1990, creaky OLD in 2000; and prehistoric now...near 2010
Remodel is awesome! New air conditioning unit made the place cold on one of the hottest days of the year.
1st time I went it smelled like beef Idk why but it's a great venue
The Office trivia night was so fun! Only thing I would suggest is trying to get more seats and tables for fun events like that.
Never thought I'd see Bob Mould. Capital Hill is crazy.
Been here multiple times for specific events interested in. Absolutely love this place so much fun great crowd attracted here and efficient staff doing their jobs. Will dance here again for years to come.
Cool place to see a show, and a cool bar upstairs with friendly staff considering the place is usually packed and loud
Intimate music venue with great sound and lighting. Had a blast at The Go! Team show and will be coming back for more. WARNING: right after the show the doors become exit only and they won't let you come back in the venue. So go to the bathroom before the show ends!
Loved this little place. The show was great and the crowd was cool.
Nice venue, music can be too loud that it's hard to be enjoyable. Big named DJs always come stop by here. Its clean and a good place to have fun
Staff are friendly, it's clean. The sound system works really well and they do a great job mixing it. Bar prices are the normal. And they have an awesome water spigot on the upstairs bar. There is seating upstairs and TV's to see the band cuz some of the views are blocked pretty badly. But I really like it and enjoy the shows I see here.
Great staff, great shows, fantastic ventilation--no ADA accessible bathrooms. :(
I like the Neumos Venue in Cap Hill. Surrounded by bars and other restaurants parking might be challenging. Neumos is famous for various concerts. Spacious with main floor and upstairs balcony to watch shows from above
Perfect club venue. Not a bad spot on the floor and a very chill upstairs seated area/balcony. Located near tons of other interesting spots in Capitol Hill.
Always has great sound and the kind of bands that are getting big so the crowds are fun. Plus, seattle dogs.
Recently updated inside. They opened up the whole upstairs so there's a lot more room and places to see the stage from. New lighting and speakers I think too, so concerts look and sound better. One star off because they still need to work on AC and ventilation. It's soooo Hot in there!
Tickets said 8pm, doors didn't open till 8:15, show didn't start till 10pm. Waited in the rain for an hour, then it was freezing inside. Otherwise, the venue is okay.
My favorite venue in Seattle - check out the upstairs section - close to the band but still have easy access to the bar
Awesome place for a concert! Good drinks and music.
Many a night's spent here. One of my favorite smaller venues in Seattle. In that respect it's a big small venue(if that makes sense?). Highly recommend!!! Go to this places, bring the bros and gfs and just have a great time! #dancefloor #nightout #classicalmusic #indierock #livemusic #symphony #nocover #concert #trivia #standingroomonly
One of the best stage lights around, good audio and decent staff.
I know it could be frustrating being a security guard but don't take it out on your customers that did nothing wrong. Everytime I come here it's crowded beyond comfortability.
Great venue to see bands. Upper level has a bar and is 21+ with decent stage views.
Lots of space to drink, not lots of space for an adequate view of the stage
One of the best sounding venues for live music, and tons of bars around to prefunk at.
Neumos is a very intimate medium sized music venue.
Great venue for concerts, solid sound quality and within easy walking access to variety of food styles
Went and saw Palehound and CherryGlazerr! We loved this venue, plenty of drinks, separate sections for over and under 21yrs old. The entrance for under 21 is separate from over 21.
The doors promptly opened at the specified time.
Good little venue, probably better if they didn't do all ages shows
Saw Cannibal Corpse there awesome sound, only negative was when Cannibal Corpse took the stage it was standing room only such a small venue for such a big band
Amazing venue, great staff, perfect location for a metal show!
The worst bar ever. I was standing by a table in the hallway when I was screamed at to leave. Confused and asking for an explanation, the bar manager said we were a fire hazard, so we moved. We ended up being kicked out of the bar for being rude . We went in to apologize after to try and explain how we had no intention of being rude. We were just confused why we were being yelled at. When we went in to apologize, the hostess was hostile and rude, and unwilling to listen to our sincere apology for something we never intentionally did.
Really small space, clean, has a bar, and security is tight. Good experience
One of my favorite places to see a show in the city. If someone is playing here you love, don't hesitate. In fact but tickets for all your friends. Multiple bars, decent amount of space if you want to spread out and chill. Great experience down front and center. Good quick eats near by if you need something before the show, or after for that matter
Awesome music venue, great staff, solid bartenders.
