Pretty good venue. It's an old theatre, so for live music there's standing downstairs and some seating upstairs. They've retained the ornate decoration which works well in a strange way.

Toilets are lacking, relative to the capacity of the venue - expect to have to battle your way through the whole audience if you're standing stage right, then wait in a queue.

Cosy, picturesque venue with decent sound and heaps of history (used to be where the BBC broadcast the Wogan chat show from). The dreadful seats are enough to spoil the best of gigs though. Always come out of there aching, with a numb bum. Was more comfortable when there wasn't any seating! I've seen some great bands there, but also paid some ridiculous prices for drinks. The good balances out the bad, hence a 3 star rating.

Love this venue, they really look after disabled people, and are nice and professional all the time. Only downside for me is can't get a coffee, have to resort to wine Great place to see quality acts.

Nice old theatre place having many different venues on the programme. I have been here one time and during my visit I would like to prefer to meet some more polite stuff.
Nearby is great connection to public transport and even a blue city car dock which is just across the park.

very friendly staff and reliable security. barriers were up in time, entrance well organized and the venue has the right size and is very atmospheric and offers a separate area upstairs. the sound was great the night we were there, bathrooms and beer rather disgusting and the backstage area offered necessities, but no more cleanliness than in front of the stage. theres a pub next door, a tesco and cafe across the street and everything is easy to find and you don't need orientation skills, but the side entrance of the venue is uncomfortably close to the regular one which could potentially bring security risks. would definitely head there again though. the atmosphere was magical.

I like this venue... it s easy to get to a short walk from Shepherd s Bush underground or Westfield shopping centre, it s quirky and intimate inside leaving you really close to the act, and for a venue of this type the drinks were priced okay and tasted good - including the white wine. The only downside is if you re short or even tall but arrive late, on the ground floor you ll struggle to find a place to stand with a good view. On the plus side the toilets are easily accessible at the back... I remember having to squeeze down to the front to use the toilets at Brixton academy

We didn t like the venue and won t be coming back. It looks ok inside but it stinks of cheap beer as you enter, the floors and bar are very sticky - surly they don t bother to clean much. The scene is very low so unless you are standing More

It was my son's birthday and we went somewhere first in Green Lanes but was so disappointed that it had closed down and we needed to have pancakes that day so we decided to go to bills but found out that they did not do the think it's after 12 what I told him that it was my son's birthday and it was a special treat Mark who was the host did the utmost best to make sure that my son's requested was giving it was the best pancakes Becks breakfast make sure that we were ok such a lovely place very good for mothers and babies and children very family orientated restaurant and there's just a lovely place can't believe that people can appreciate the good hospitality and the fact that he went the extra mile shows how much they care about their customers I'm definitely coming again

Theater a bit obsolete and with conflicting ideas, they don't let you enter a simple plastic bottle of water but inside you find a bar where you can have all the beers you want, where you can get drunk easily and become harassing during a concert, however if you want to take a picture of your favorite singer, where to see him you take a trip from one country to another, you come to break the balls, the bouncers, that you can not take pictures !!!! Another really unfortunate thing, although the theater was full of people there was an absurd cold, we attended a concert with a scarf and coats put on, absurd !!!!

The venue is old, tired, dirty, smelly and very uncomfortable, how can it have a "safety certificate". Funny to find hand sanitiser in the bathroom - the whole place needs to be sanitised !!! Our one and only visit to this venue.
The one positive - Rhys Darby was great

Excellent music venue that still keeps its vintage look and feel. Acoustics are great and the view of the band is accessible from all over. Staff were polite and welcoming and there were plenty of refreshments. Access to the venue is easy by tube or bus. I'd definitely come here again.

The seats on level 2 and 3 are horribly uncomfortable and not suitable for wide bums or long legs. Pitch of rows also means most people have to lean to see the front of the stage past the head infront of them.
Toilets were clean and sufficient.
Bar was well-stocked and efficient, though very pricey.
Lighting is good, and acoustics very clear for presentation/stand-up performances.

We had seated tickets on the 2nd balcony. It provided a great view of the band but the gap between the seats barely gave you any space to move past people. It was also extremely hot and stuffy

We had a fantastic time at the O2 empire watching Nathaniel Rateliff and the night sweats at shepherds Bush empire. Very good venue as it's small so no matter you are I would imagine you have clear view.Great bars and loos.We had a great time would recommend.

Nice old venue still in good condition, but whoever does the sound is under the mistaken impression "louder is better". Take earplugs or be prepared to get drunk on their overpriced drinks to dull the wall of unlistenable noise.
